The room had ants and they were biting. They were in the bathroom, in our beds, everywhere. And it seemed like it’s not just our room. I appreciate that they upgraded my room bcs I had birthday but the quality of the room wasn’t that good. Staff was overall pleasant but seems like they were always super busy.

Checked in late and paid for breakfast and let them know we have a very early flight. Can I have a refund. She was rude. Ok then asked for something quiet because we only had time for a few hours of sleep. She put us on the first floor outside of elevator. She wasn’t service oriented what so ever. Could have cared less.

Not ideal for light sleepers, otherwise good.

Convenient close to the beach and shopping area, supermarket and bakery/coffee shop around the corner, and also easy to get to from the airport.. would be excellent for anyone who is not a light sleeper.. unfortunately the sound of airplanes flying over kept us awake in the evenings and woke us up in the morning. Otherwise great location.

cockroaches are welcome in this hotel

Terrible experience, 3 cockroaches in only 10 hours in the room. A mouse walking around the breakfast patio. I do not know how this hotel has that kind of rating in hotels.com It should be not more than 3 of 10.

I arrived at the hotel for early check-in and there was a room available. At first, the staff member had a difficult time finding my reservation and there was some confusion regarding the name it was booked under. He was very polite throughout this process, and reassured me that it would be OK and I'd still have a place to stay regardless. He helped to alleviate the anxiety I had when hearing my reservation couldn't be found (I had travelled from far!). After a few minutes, we realized the error with the name and he confirmed my reservation with no issues. This staff member also helped me with bus directions to the Cathedral and explained things clearly and efficiently. I was happy with the early check-in, the kindness of the staff, and the comfort of the room. The hotel room was a bit small but clean and the shower functioned well. My room faced the main road which was a bit noisy so I slept with ear plugs and had no problems.

Booked 3 months in advance requesting quiet room overlooking garden with bath& shower. Upon arrival given room at front with no bath just shower & broken toilet seat. Seat repaired quickly & room changed to as requested following day & all good from then. Told basically pot luck if room request available when check in but thought giving fair notice this would be allocated. Breakfast very good & huge selection.

Not a happy experience for me

As a solo female traveller arriving very late & very tired i found that I had been given smallest single room imaginable and as far away from reception as possible too. There was nowhere to put my suitcase it was so ridiculously small & the bathroom had very obviously not been cleaned. Hair in bath, dirty glass on basin side. Thank goodness it had aircon but the ceiling fan was a mystery, no way of switching it on that I could find. The room should not be used for anyone, not fit for purpose & certainly not for money!!

I reserved this for my dad and brother when their flight was changed at last moment. They said it was wonderful, breakfast fantastic, and even a good Indian restaurant nearby. They let them pay a reasonable fee to have a late afternoon checkout so they didn’t have to wait at the airport for the connecting flight. I’m grateful.

Nice hotel, just back from beach. We stayed in a superior room with mountain view. The room and hotel was spotless, and the staff very welcoming. The breakfast buffet was good quality, but a slightly smaller variety than some hotels i have stayed in. We used the spa facilities, it had a turkish and finnish style sauna. We enjoyed our stay would recommend the hotel and the surrounding area.

Was booked for Amic Gala hotel but was placed in sister hotel Mirafilors across the street, was put in the smallest room they had about 8 sq meters the place stiunk of cabbage it was awful used 2ltr of bleach and airfreshner the balcony did not have tiles it was a grey comcrete not nice to sit in.. disappointed to say the least prefer to stay in hotel that I booked and paid for..

Quite a nice hotel near the airport and the beach. Breakfast buffet offers lots of food options, and the food itself is good quality. Staff is nice, had no problems with late checkin as they have someone working even at night. It is a cheaper hotel so nothing glamorous, but I was satisfied with everything.

We stayed at this hotel for one night as our flight got cancelled. Staff was nice and so was the room. The bathroom door was pretty old and cracky, we had to pull it pretty hard to shut it properly. Overall a good experience. The hotel is based very central and it’s very easy to come around. 5 mins away from the beach and you’ll find a lot of shop and restaurants downstairs.

lower end budget hotel only

hotel was one of the cheaper ones on offer. i wanted 5 nights so had to select hotel on budget. i knew the area where hotel is and this was the deciding factor, apart from cost.
rooms are ok, dont expect anything flash. you get what you pay for I suppose.
i would possibly stay here again based on price only, but if I found something else for similar price i would probably take the chance.

4 Night Stay in Mallorca

Ok stay for the 4 nights I was in Mallorca. The hotel is situated very close to the beach and the airport with a bus stop less than 2 mins walk away. Bedroom was ok however there were no do not disturb signs to hang on the door, therefore around 9am you got disturbed by the cleaner knocking on the door. In general the rooms could do with some updating and refurbishment I.e. The basin taps were loose and also areas around the fridge were not cleaned. Staff were helpful and generally polite. Breakfast was quite good and offered quite a variation.

Stayed here overnight in a family room as we arrived late at Palma airport and it was close to the airport. Check in staff were fine but wrong changed me by 5E for taxes and gave us wrong room key initially. Room was very basic but was a good size with the kids in a separate room. In the heat it was a bit sticky as the AC didnt really work. Breakfast was great though and there was a huge array of food and choice and was decent. If cheap, cheerful, basic with plentiful breakfast food is what you are after it fits that bill.

Decent hotel very close to the beach

This hotel was decent, fairly priced, and in walking distance to the beach and a bunch of shops/restaurants. The hotel room was okay, although it didn't have additional locks on the door. Also the walls in the room were thin and you could hear other guests' doors slamming shut. Additionally there is only wifi in the lobby and not in the rooms, and it was spotty at best.

Overall, it was not a good stay. We arrived at the hotel and found out that we were charged 20% more tax alongside the hotel price. Then we went to the room and we had received 2 twin beds when we had specifically asked for a double bed. We went back to the reception for another room however the lady said that they will be able to make the change the next day. So we had to flip the beds so that it wasn't comfortable for me and my partner to sleep together. After a while, the electricity went off in our room and we didn't have any lighting and couldn't charge our phones. Other than that, the location of the hotel was really good and a 2 minute walk from the beach. Would not go back to this hotel again.

Check in was great! Susanna and ALL the staff were great! Happy, very nice, super helpful. A really great team! ALL, meaning front desk, dining room, housekeepers, everyone!
Like the location, close to the airport and the beach.
Room was basic, bed was comfortable, bathroom seemed new and nice... except we ended up having quite the sewer/ septic smell. Staff was advised.
Food is pretty fair, coffee in dining room is sub optimal but at the bar it's good.
Overall pretty good. I would stay again.

Surprisingly shocked for a last minute holiday!

Booked a week before travelling, was expecting the worst given how cheap it was and last minute. I wonderfully surprised, exceeded all expectations. We had a top floor room and could see the beach/sea from there (definitely was not expecting this!).
Room was basic, but clean (everyday too!) no matter what time we lied in till. Compared to other hotels the AC was included in the price. Room had a safe (Not digital but physical key required), fridge and a (small) TV. Everything did the job.
We even had an additional single bed in the room - which we had no requested...so we could have had another person in with us and split the cost of the hotel even more. No swimming pool at this hotel, however the sister location across the road was available for use - watch out its very deep and freeezing! Plus the smell of burgerking in the air due to it being next door/on the roof of BK.
Fantastic location in terms of only 10mins from the Airport in a Taxi, stone throw away from beach, shops, restaurants, bars etc. The place is quiet and relaxing, however if you fancied a busier, more lively night - then jump on the train to El Arensal and get to Megapark and surrounding German pubs...its madly insane but worth seeing.
All in all, was expecting the last minute hol to be shocking and one of those \"Holiday from Hell\" expierences given the short notice, cheap price but it was neither. I would highly recommend for a budget holiday.

Surprise Surprise

Emergency booking for a impromptu call in Palma, everything near the local hospital booked so took a chance on this place in Can Pastilla, what a surprise for the money it was actually quite pleasant with lovely staff and cleaners etc, typical Spanish type hotel with basic provisions but value for money.
Please dont bother with the breakfast very poor, cold food inc beans etc unedible and the staple coffee and orange Juice was undrinkable- What an absolute shame as it could of been good with plenty of choices.
Parking an issue as no real grounds to the hotel just street front, found the hire car with damage on two days. The whole area was a nightmare for parking and think lots of cars left by long term annual ex pats.

The location was perfect, near the beach and the airport. The staff was al right and helpful.
I booked a room for 3 persons. Room was very old fashioned, the doors from bathroom was putted wrong way round, so it can be locked only from outside not inside and the been out of glass, so it was not so nice to go to the toilet as you could be seen and heard, cracks on the wall, rusty boiler and was leaking from it. as well the bath itself was rusty. Cleaners didn't made all the beds when we came back. Probably they clean only when you leave some tips.
We could use the pool from the other hotel which is just passed the street.
The hotel was very disappointing I wanted a perfect stay with my mum and sister for her birthday. Would not recommend to anybody. Or at least make the prices lower.

This was primarily used as a quick place to sleep after a late flight. hotel is a bit old but still clean. Road outside is a cut through for a lot of heavy vehicles, so depending on room it may be slightly loud, but the room was fit for my purpose.

The staff is very helpful and despite of being near to the airport, it is far from the city centre, However, it is easy to get there by bus. The breakfest is great, the rooms seem quite simple and old, and the internet is awful at the room in the third floor. We had to go downstairs all the times we wanted to connect. Even downstairs the connection is very bad, drops everytime and is slow.

Room change twice in a night upon Arrival.

I originally booked for a double bed since there was a choice between 2x singles or a double for the same price. Consider this was a trip for me and my boyfriend, I obviously went for the double bed. We arrived at the hotel at 12am due to our flight being the last flight of the day. The hotel was notified of my late arrival for check in. The room was average for the amount you paid for. The first thing you want to do after a night flight is to use the showers. There was a) no hot water b) the room smelt like strong lemon air freshener which they decided to spray down the whole room and c) we got 2x single bed pushed together (every night the mattresses would push out). We asked to change rooms and the reception guy was very helpful. He changed us to a different room. Shower was slightly better but spent about an hour for just shower because the showerhead was just dripping out the water, main door couldnt lock from inside due to some idiot from the previous stay decided to break the lock, beds were still 2x single. This has been informed to the reception again however the reception told me that there was no more rooms left. Well, overall it was ok. Not the best for a 4 day trip.

Bad night sleep in a rough hotel

The phone rang in the middle of the night and woke me up (before a 4am get up for a flight!) and there was no one there. The lights didn't work properly, and flickered constantly, the room smelt bad and there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling, which had been plugged by a towel. Overall a horrible night sleep in what I initially thought would be an average hotel. I would not recommend.

My husband and I stayed here for a short break and were very pleased. The location was excellent - only minutes from the beach. The bus stop was only seconds from the hotel which was another major plus! We went to Palma for a day for 1.50euro each way. Palma is amazing. It felt very cosmopolitan and even had it's own La Rambla. Would most definitely recomment Hotel Amic Gala.

Great Hotel close to all amenities

The hotel staff was very helpful from the first moment we arrived to the hotel especially a receptionist ned Teo who gave us extra usefull informations about Mallorca.

The room was comfortable and clean. The buffet had a wide variety of food with plenty of fruit and vegetable choice.

Although there is no swimming pool in the hotel the possibilty of using the sister hotel's just opposite the road makes it very easy.

I have read comments about the airport being too close to the hotel and I can confidently say that this is an advantage not a disadvantage as we could hardly notice the flights, plus we had a problem with our transfer, which was an added transfer via Ryanair and has never arrived to pick us up we had to cath a taxi finally which was called by the receptionist for us and if we were further from airport we would have missed our flight and could have paid a triple price for something that we have paid in advance.

All in all we can say that everyone made us feel at home within the hotel and for the price and star rating we couldn't have asked for any better.

We got this hotel incredibly cheap for peak season. The location was perfect for a short break - close to the airport, close to the beach & with tons of restaurants and bars nearby. My partner and myself were a little disappointed to be put in a triple room (after requesting a double) meaning we had to push two single beds together with one of us inevitably slipping down the gap during the night!
Breakfast wasn't great but again, was very cheap. The cafe con leche tasted like chocolate for some reason.
One thing that was strange was that some reception staff didn't speak either English or Spanish. They may have spoken German as this is an area popular with German tourists.

Reasonable hotel close to the airport. Used due to late arrival and the fact that they have 24 hour check-in. Breakfast was a real crowded bun fight but reasonable quality. Best described as \"functional\".

Nice budget hotel

The place was clean and close to the beach, there are enough restaurants and places to grab something to eat. It is close to the airport, but the noise is not that bothersome. As we were staying there at the start of the season it wasn't that busy or noisy so overall we had a good time.

Good value for the price. Location is good. It is really close to the beach and all kinds of restaurants, bike path, bike rental places and lots of fun stuff. The beach is beautiful.
Internet was super slow!

Fantastic location

First impressions of the hotel and the room was that they are in fact outdated (old TV with only a few channels, shower wasn't working properly as water pressure was far to weak, tiny veranda) however the staff were lovely and friendly all throughout (our luggages were securely locked up in the downstairs luggage room when we arrived earlier than the check-in time), our included breakfast was spectacular, and the hotels' location made it extra special as it is merely a few metres from the beach and a few minutes from the airport. That was all that was needed on our holiday however if we needed to travel to places like Palma then taxis, buses and horses with carriages are available. The hotels' pool was clean and accessible however the building shadows most of the building leaving the pool cooler than expected. Finally the area has much to offer with many souvenir shops and restaurants to chose from and of course the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean and white sandy beaches merely a step away from the hotel. Overall I am very pleased to have chosen this hotel and location and glad the weather was amazing all week long.

Good hotel but is not looking like 3 stars!

The location of the hotel was very close for the beach,like 100 m,like a hotel for 3 stars is not looking,maybe 2 stars for sure,the furniture,the doors are very old,tv it`s very old and not working,air condition it`s working very well,shower it`s a problem because is not moving,it`s stuck upstairs (an ex.my wife doesn`t want to wash the hair,but it`s impossible because the shower it`s stuck upstairs and u cannot moving).In my country (Romania) a hotel for 3 stars is looking much better,really.In the bathroom u don`t have an window to refresh,there is a window but when u open it there is only drains.A very big problem is wireless.They give u the password but is not working properly not it all and u will become nervous (in the room wireless is not working,in the restaurant also and it`s a problem with the signal).I have to go in another restaurant to find a wireless,by the beach.They cleaned the room every day.I got a rent car and it`s also a problem for parking,because the hotel doesn`t have a particular parking area.

Large room, everything worked and clean, staff were friendly, easy to get to from airport using Bus 21(5min). the link in Google Maps showed the wrong address, so I used Google Street View to confirm the hotels location. Had a large bathtub to soak away the travel aches too :-)

Hotel Gala - What a place!

Arrival was a complete disaster. We arrived late at night and was greeted by someone behind reception who did not speak english. Was given room 117... one of the worst rooms I have ever seen. When we realised that you could open the balcony door from the ouside by shaking the door and opening the lock it was time to move rooms. Was eventually given anoither room but have to pay for the extras like air con and a safe. not as cheap as it looked. Area was very rough but very very close to the hotel. Hotels swimming pool wasnt even worth looking at it was so small and did not get any sun after about 10am.
