Convenient to market, small beach and a few places to eat. Great for morning getaway to airport. Staff was nice and room clean and had what we needed. The view was ok but not like the photo on Expedia. To the left are stores and a boat yard.

The hotel is wonderful. In a great location, close to several beaches and restaurants. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The room was a good size with everything we needed. Rooftop pool and wellness area with sauna and jacuzzi were a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the place, super clean, daily housekeeping was great. Amazing view of the beach and quiet area for a girls trip where we felt safe. We had gone to Palma center for dinner and walked around at night and felt uncomfortable so we were so glad we booked this hotel it met all expectations. There is no parking on site so just prepare if you are short on time but it never took us more than 15 mins tops to find parking. We also went in late sept-October. Staff was great, i liked that they had a locker for luggage and room was spacious in terms of European standard. I would definitely recommed.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Fabulous location on beach front.
Lovely modern and clean. Rooms very well appointed. Tea and coffee topped up daily.
Amazing buffet breakfast with chef making eggs to order.
The staff were so nice, always smiling and helpful.

Absolutely brilliant hotel, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They were very accommodating with my partner who has coeliac disease. I’d recommend messaging in advance to let them know of any allergies. They were more than happy and gave a good selection of alternatives for breakfast.
I’d definitely visit again and again, the staff couldn’t have made you feel more welcome.
The room was clean and tidy, even provided with a beach towel for by the pool or going to the beach. The food was cooked fresh and lots of choices for breakfast. The spa was clean and tidy, we didn’t use it but walked through and would use if we returned.
The room we had was a partial beach view, it didn’t matter because we spent most of our time by the pool or beach. Very close right on the front, everything you need is within walking distance.

We enjoyed the locality and amenities nearby. The staff were all super nice people at hand to make your stay comfortable.
The sea view suite was very nice and cleaned every day. The breakfast and dinners we enjoyed very much with a wide selection to choose from. Theres nothing we can find to fault this beautiful hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at BQ Aquamarina Boutique Hotel. Maria and both Aina’s at the front desk were friendly and provided helpful suggestions for sightseeing and car rental options. The restaurant & housekeeping staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Having the beach right across the street was very convenient. Keep in mind that you have to pay for the chairs & cabanas. Just 9€ a person, so very reasonable. Plenty of restaurants to choose from since BQ was on a busy strip. It was quiet at night. I would recommend staying at BQ Aquamarina to friends.

The BQ Aguamarina Boutique Hotel is well-situated, right across from the beach and close to great restaurants and shops. The rooftop pool is small but clean, and the bar up top is a nice bonus. The front desk staff were friendly and gave excellent recommendations for supper.

However, there were a few drawbacks that affected the overall experience. The room had an overpowering cleaning product smell on arrival that triggered my asthma. After airing it out by opening the windows and door, the smell did fade, but it made for an uncomfortable start.

We also had to request that the front desk mop the floors near the elevator, as both the elevator itself and the entrance area were covered in wet sand. This should have been addressed more proactively. Additionally, there’s no on-site parking, so guests need to find street parking nearby.

Overall, I’d rate this hotel as average, great location and friendly service, but some comfort and cleanliness issues that need more attention.

I choose this hotel for one night because of the proximity to the airport. It was an excellent choice! Front desk staff was very friendly, the room was bright and well equipped with a lovely view over the ocean.
Breakfast was an absolute highlight! Buffet offered a broad range of choices, making it easy to have a healthy start to the day. Service was attentive and always with a smile. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We started our Mallorca trip in old town Palma, then moved up to the mountains and finally to several beach towns. Who knew that our favorite spot was a beachy part of Palma we selected for our last night primarily because it was near the airport (and nope, planes are not flying overhead). We asked for advice on where to eat on our first night for dinner and the restaurant that was recommended was the worst meal we had all the time we were in Mallorca. Disgusting and expensive Paella. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was average. Staff on the whole very nice and helpful. Best thing about this hotel is it's close proximity to the airport and view from bedrooms. Rooms clean but compact.

Hotel was right on the waterfront about 8 mins by taxi from airport. Very quiet though despite its proximity to the airport.

Hotel restaurant served fresh tasty food although a good range of other places to eat at all price points were around the area.
Hotel is a bus ride away from Palma costing 2euros pp. 20euros if you go by taxi.
Small wellness centre and gym in basement and a pool on rooftop with a good amount of day beds and sunloungers.
We stayed a week out from hotel closing for the season so staff and facilities were winding down and the restaurant did not always have the full menu available plus the main restaurant closed for evening dinner and those that were on half board like us had to eat in the small bar area which had no atmosphere.
Overall a fantastic boutique hotel.

The bar/snack food was excellent & reasonably priced. The rooms had everything needed. Tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge, bottled water daily. BQ Is located in a desirable beach resort area. There are numerous restaurants and tourist shopping right outside of the hotel on a big water front stretch. We opted to stay in a resort setting to relax after a whirlwind Spain tour. A cab ride to Palma and old city is not much, $15.-$20.00 each way. We loved our Jr. suite room and we highly recommend the breakfast everyday and visiting the rooftop for swimming sunbathing and catching the sunset at night. Mallorca is fabulous, try to get a visit into the mountains as well. Gorgeous village and views!!

Had the worst experience in my life here. The front desk man was rude and disrespectful when he spoke to my friends and I. He refused to give me his name when I asked for it. He was older, skinny & tall with the glasses. The day was sunday August 25th night shift. We ended up wanting to leave because we no longer wanted to be there where this man had access to our room. He locked us out of our room and withheld our personal belongings. We told him to let us get our stuff and he would not give us new keys until after a full on 20 min argument in front of other guests checking in. When asked to refund us for the room at least he refused. Ended up in the streets of Mallorca at midnight with no place to stay with my two girlfriends. We work at a luxury hotel in California and I’m appalled and disgusted in the way this man treated paying guests.

Exactly what I had hoped for - a great location 9 minute taxi ride from airport, the Hotel is immaculate- it smells clean from the minute you arrive, the rooftop terrace is idyllic.
We were lucky to have a room with a beach view, the rooms are lovely and well equipped with little extras like lovely toiletries, dressing gown and slippers .

Our stay at the Hotel has been great! On our second day there was an issue but it was handle with care understanding and tried to rectify our disappointment. The manager Sandro took control of the situation and our stay was amazing and would definitely recommend family and friends. This property had views from most rooms. Service was excellent and friendly. It was right next to the harbor so if you want to charter a boat, it’s really convenient from BQ Aguamarina. The rooftop pool was amazing. It wasn’t heated so if you go before summer, like I did, it can be chilly. Food was great. Get the daily breakfast. You won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait to go back!

This property has a great location overlooking a small bay with a nice beach. The property is fresh and clean. The staff are very nice and helpful. The cons: I had a small seaview room. The problem was that seaview is a southern exposure and the sun, even in October, was unrelenting. Had to keep the drapes closed the whole time to try to control the heat. I had the AC at its coldest setting and it did little to cool the room. Tried opening the balcony door at night and was rewarded with a bunch of bug bites. This is not a hotel to book if you have a car. Even in October every space within many blocks was taken. Returning one afternoon from a day of sightseeing, I had to drive around for 40 minutes before finding a space. Finally I think of a boutique hotel as something quaint and quirky, perhaps with unique decor reflecting the local culture. This hotel is part of a chain and is rather soulless.

Very good choice for a solo traveler

I booked here because of other solo travelers complimenting their experience and I have to agree that this was a good option for a woman traveling alone. The staff and service were excellent. Most of the staff were exceptionally friendly, with a couple minor exceptions, and those people were quite polite, just not effusive. The hotel and room were very clean, and the daily room maintenance was thorough. The pool is beautiful, but cold, and the beech is literally steps from the front door. The area generally is busy on the main beach (although not a party beach), but the cove where BQ is located is very quiet, and has chill outdoor food options and bars that are lovely and chill.

This location is not the best or most beautiful beachy any measure, but for convenient access to all the Island has to offer, it can’t be beat. It’s best for someone who wants a quiet area easily accessible to Palma and other destination by taxi or transit, but also wants the convenience of shops, and food and beach just steps away.

This is a great property. The rooms are lovely as are the communal areas and they all very clean. The pool area is great but it would be better if the Wi-Fi worked in that area too.

Food was lovely and all of the team were helpful in catering to my dietary needs. The only comment is that it would be good to have a daily special to vary the menu.
