It was nice, it was a cheap place to stay and it honestly is in a great location! The only downside is the cost of Ubers to and from the airport considering how close it is! Reception were good and room was clean and spacious - no complaints, downside to our room was the TV didn’t work,. The safe had no lock and there was two flat pillows and when I asked for more they didn’t have extras. Other than that it’s a great location, the beach is right infront/behind the hotel and all the restaurants are on the beach so you’ve access to a lot of options

Great location and that is only positive thing.
Reception lady rude, room was awful. Dirty bed sheets, fan outside of window on building making loud noises all night.
Shower dirty and overall really disappointed. Asked about breakfast she said no not this hotel but up road but couldn’t give me directions.
Lovely location just wouldn’t stay at this hotel again as cleanliness not there.

Where we were was nice! The room staff were good. Cleaned every day which I didn’t expect!
It would have had 5 stars if they only responded to my messages here on the app. 2 messages and no response! Because of this we got busted £75 just for a taxi from the airport!

I booked but never made it to stay at the hotel. I had asked about an airport to the hotel by messaging but Bonnie replied. The arrival would have been around 1230am. Over a period of a week I messaged but nothing came from it. When tried to claim insurance x cover don’t want to do anything and spoke to Expedia and they said it was too late even though the booking was still live and I was trying to get something back from it. The hotel i could not say if it was ok or not,
I didn’t make it.
My guess is if folk put efforts in to starting a hotel up, there’s got to be something good in that and I would imagine it’s fine.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I booked a double room single occupancy but was given a single room that was not fit to keep a dog in. I complained after a very uncomfortable night I was given a different room which while it was better was still poor and it had cockroaches. Even the description on the website was untrue it said a cozy bar it didn’t even have a bar! It needs to be completely renovated or better still demolished. It’s disgusting. I can’t think of one redeeming feature from the wall safe which couldn’t be opened to because it had a light { loose ) fitting in front of it to the greyish paper thin towels everything about this hotel is dreadful! Stay away.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for a week and can say that \"you get what you pay for\". We got a room on the 5th floor with a big terrace and a nice view. The room had two single wooden beds (not so comfortable but ok), a tv (which didn't work but we didn't care because we came for the beach (which was 2min away)), also there were lots of cafes and restaurants, shopping. The location is just perfect (bus stops to the centre were very close, we used the Moovit app to see bus schedules). Moreover, there was another single bed in the living room/kitchen, a closet, and a mini fridge. In the bathroom, there was a mini bathtub with a shower. We were glad mostly about everything. We did have some problems with the water heater, but when we asked the receptionist to fix it - they did. We also had some problems connecting to the WiFi but didn't want to bother the staff so used our own data.

BONUS
One day before our end of the vacation we found out that ALL guests of Amic hotels are allowed to use the pool at another hotel across the street.

Booked as a cheap couple of nights while in Palma, but the hotel was SO shabby. The beds were the final straw as one mattress was old and lumpy, the other just a piece of foam. Asked the man on reception to help me with an urgent call on his land line and offered to pay, but was met with an unapologetic NO. Only redeeming feature was getting a refund for 2nd night when we couldn’t stay as we needed to sleep!

Read this before! Good location but bad hotel

The hotel doesn't have cafeteria and swimming pool at its location. Guests need to go to another hotel nearby for breakfast and a swimming pool in another hotel. The elevator was old, the door stopped closing at half way for a moment before started closing entirely and elevated us to another floor. So we used stairs.

The door room needs a key to access but doesn't have any lock system! So I believe someone can break in so easily with that door. It also has a safe inside but without a key, key for the safe is 3euro a day from a reception. This is ridiculous. The balcony is dirty and had an access from another room, not private! And again, The balcony door was in very bad condition in clear glass which hardly to open, close or lock from inside the room. Room is not quiet too!

Towels were provided but not changed daily obviously. Only 2 tiny sample package of shampoo/shower gel and another 2 tiny bars of soap provided for the whole stay. The bathtub was terrible. The hot water was barely running and hard to control its temperature, once it was suddenly very hot like cooked water and burned me. It came with rain shower which took a minute for the water to come out! The tub was also slightly leaking, so the bathroom was flooded a bit, thus extra towels were needed to dry it.

However, the location is very good. It's near the beach with only couple minutes walk, close to a bus stop which can reach the city or an airport easily. Many shops and restaurants nearby.

I end up staying in the other hotel Amic Gala which was very good the service, breakfast etc . I was dropped off at the wrong hotel by the taxi but they allowed me to stay there instead walk few blocks with my luggage . I didn’t ask for it, but was great and they were super attentive , breakfast good price lots of options and food . Location espetacular, close to the beach , cafes , stores, restaurants etc

Nice hotel, staff are very friendly and welcoming and very helpful also, basic clean hotel with all amenities, rooms good and air conditioning, very central, bus stops across the road to the airport
Hotel on the outside, at the back mainly is a little run down, but didn't bother me, I was too busy enjoying the area
But my opinion is, if you want a nice clean place, near everything, then go for it.
The owner of the hotel is a lovely lady
And staff are very friendly and helpful

Apart from shuttle bus dropped us at the different hotel location, even did not picked up when we returned to the airport. So we need to take taxi to the last minute. Overall our first time trip was happy ending.

Arrived late 11.00 to a rather grumpy and curt welcome. Tried to say we had to pay for the room but luckily i had printed off confirmation . Very basic hotel but I knew it was 2 star and was only for an overnight stop. Room and bed were really small. Area felt a bit scary at first but was only 2 streets from the beach.

Arriving after midnight, we had a 40 minute wait in a sweltering, un-airconditioned lobby while the only member of staff on duty tried to deal with a guest whose reservation could not be found on the computer. Other than that, the hotel was okay, handy for the airport and the rooms were acceptable for one night.

Overall, we were really pleased with this hotel. We booked Hotel Amic as part of a package deal (and fairly late) and so we weren't sure what to expect.

The Good
- Location: Fabulous! Literally a 30 second walk to the beach and restaurants
- Staff: We were served by a lovely woman (I think her name was Amida?) who was very helpful in helping us to organise/book excursions and offers suggestions on places to visit/ things to do.
- Room: We had a triple-room (3 single beds) which were basic but comfortable. The room was very clean and contained air conditioning and a fridge (which was highly appreciated in the hot weather). We also had a balcony although the view was the motorway.

The not so Good
- Wifi: None in the room and very limited signal in the reception.
- Showers: The water pressure and temperature was limited. As there were three of us, one of us almost always had to bathe in cold water.

Cheap and cheerful, basic hotel !

Basic and cheap hotel, okay for a 3 night break, clean room, beds comfy, very small balcony, we didn't have much of a view, but didn't bother us. On the plus side, we had a fridge and air con which was a bonus !! The bathroom was nice and always got hot water..the room wasn't that big but we managed, there was an old TV which didn't really work, but we wasn't there to watch TV. Pleaty of wardrobe and drawer space, also quite a few plugs, we would stay again if in a short break, one of the girls on reception she checked us in wasn't very talkative, she didn't say much, but the other team members were very friendly. We paid 25euros to keep our room until 19.00 which gave us more time to pack & shower before heading off to the airport, we got a bus around the corner to the airport , only 5euros, number 21 bus, was only about 10mins away if that.The sister hotel where we could use the pool, was only about 12 sunbeds thou! it was a joke for the amount of rooms & guests !

Moderately priced hotel with good value for money

Hotel which is close to Palma Airport is also a block from the beach. Bus 21 from the main road (stop 473) goes to airport and Bus 15 into city centre. Room and bathroom decent space and very clean. The room I was in had TV, fridge, A/C and a small balcony. Elevator. Staff friendly with 24h reception.
Easy and hassle-free quick check-in and check-out.

amic can pastilla very good for the price

2 nights 2 people for a total price of £64 is the best part of the story, the rest of the story is related to the price of course, however overall much better than expected, room was clean, had a nice balcony over the back road, TV and air con working, shower working basic bathroom, basic mattresses.... basic everything, but what could we expect for the price paid: for that reason I give a 4 stars. Breakfast is £6 and is served in another hotel 3 min walking distance - can't comment on breakfast as we didn't go for it. Wifi was working after few attempts. The beach is just 4 min away

Good for budget traveller.

We travelled on airline staff travel to palma and where there less than 17 hours. Just needed some sun and this hotel was 44 pounds per room. The staff couldn't speak English at reception but she seemed nice enough. Luckily we had a German speaker within our group when she eventually told us she could only speak German and Spanish after fifteen minutes at the desk. The room basic, the view awful from the room overlooking another tatty hotel block but bear in mind we only paid 44 pounds. My main bug bearer was the mattress. I don't normally complain but it was the worst mattress I think I have ever slept on and with only having 5 hours sleep it was awful. I still am feeling every spring sticking into my body. We were also bitten to death but that could have been at the beach. All in all know it was ok. I won't be back but for a budget traveller it did the job. I'm prepared to spend a little more money next time and stay somewhere else. Very clean. Good air con but no breakfast available, bad springs and lack of English speaking staff are its bad bits. 16 euros to here from airport. That's the same price to Pamla.

Awesome place to stay!!!

Our stay was excellent! Best maid that my wife and I ever had. Her name is Jane, she is friendly and helpful. The hotel is very very close to the beach and many clubs and places to get groceries and eat. Yet it is surprising quiet, Unlike many other hotels in Megaluf.. So I highly recommend this hotel for the convenience, service, and price... Mainly though, its location is top notch, because its close to lots of great places yet amazingly quiet, so you can sleep! Our only minor complaint is that our room had no AC, not all rooms have it, but some do for extra cost. So if you need air conditioning, than make sure to specify while booking your room. (This is only because hotels.com had bad information I believe)

We knew the hotel was going to be basic but I agree with previous reviews. It is a hostel. Not a hotel. The balcony's are around a courtyard so if you don't smoke then don't go because you can't open your door. And as for sleep, forget it. We had to put up with the lack of it for 3 nights before we managed to get moved to another room. A couple of the staff were very helpful but I got the feeling that they were very limited as to what they could do. Oh, and no kettle in the room so if you like your cuppa in the morning be prepared to wait. And walk for it!! It is close to the beach though. But very small bonus.

Stayed her as a stopover for one night due to late arrival. Wished we had slept at the airport. I guess you get what you pay for, it was the cheapest we could find. Room was very basic, beds like concrete, bad smell coming from bathroom, no air-con (although I believe you could purchase this as an added extra). Plus points - (1) proximity to airport (almost walking distance, but the taxi will still cost you a minimum 15 euros); (2) after staying here, any other accommodation will feel positively 5*. Checked out by 7am.

I was moved to Hotel MiraFlores, but it was still an excellent stay

The rooms were bigger than I expected in this price range. Mine came with a fridge and Air Conditioning. It was about 50 meters to the beach, so that was nice as well. The receptionists were beautiful, and helpful as can be. This hotel made my whole trip better.

I only stayed one night so can't really comment too much. The hotel itself is a less than a 10 min drive from airport, please note though that it is 12 euros in a taxi flat rate even though it says 5 euros on the meter. The receptionist was really polite and helpful and showed me to my room. The room was spacious and clean.

The room was untidy and unclean upon arrival. We spoke to the reception about this and the faulty fan and they did not seem bothered. They said the 'quickest they could get it resolved/cleaned would be two days time'.
Inspite of its proximity to the airport don't waste your money on this one.

the staff at the hotel were very helpful and tried to be accomidating to our needs. the place seemed to be popular with youth that were loud at all hours of the day and night. the hotel has no carpets so sound is amplified and can be heard all the time from outside and in the hallways. the rooms were semi up kept with sets of drawers that may not close and blankets that were burned and smelled bad. it also costs extra for airconditioning, a tv, and a secure box (even though on the paperwork it says that item is included). the only thing included was free internet. i would not recommend this hotel to anyone :(

a cheap hotel near the aiport and beach, you get what you pay for! but dont leave valubles. in the room the place was open 24/7.noise from traffic. be careful if you take a taxi from the airport to this place, its so close to the airport that they dont want to take you and if they do they try to go the long way round. i later found out i paid double fare for our short trip.

Hotel Can Pastilla

The hotel was very good overall. The price was decent and we were a two-minute walk from the beach.
On the first day, we lost the room key at the beach and the reception staff replaced it without a fuss despite our stupidity.
Reception staff were happy to call us a taxi whenever needed and give us local information.
The only two criticisms is that there is no lift, so it can be tricky to get cases up three floors and also there is no air con in the rooms (but it's not really a problem if you keep the balcony doors open).

This hotel is ideally placed for a short stay on the island. I had a late flight arriving at 11pm on leaving the airport I jumped on the no 21 bus into can pastilla (carries on to arenal) and was checked in and ready to go out by 12. I found it easy to get around and found it great as you can do as much or as little as you can.....Great for short breaks etc..

Also wir waren dieses Jahr im September für paar Tage dort. Das Personal ist super lieb. Super angenehm. Sauberkeit ist ebenfalls super. Ist halt kein 5 Sterne Hotel. Unsere Bedürfnisse hat es allemal erfüllt. Zum schlafen perfekt. Allerdings muss ich bemängeln das man eben die Nachbarn des Hotels immer hört. Sei es die Dusche das Gerede. Also ohrenstöpsel sind empfehlenswert 😂

Acceptable, but falls short in many aspects

Rooms are very simple, with old furniture that needs maintenance or replacement. All the furniture had termite holes. When I arrived, the room looked visibly clean, but the trash from the previous guest was still in the bin, and there was hair in the bathtub. That made me question the credibility of the hotel’s cleaning. It’s a budget hotel, so I wasn’t expecting much, but at least proper cleaning. The light switches above the bed also has problems. The staff helps you with what you ask for, but nothing beyond that.

Vi valde hotellet för placeringen var perfekt nära flygplatsen. Tog 5 min från hotellet med taxi till flygplatsen, perfekt när man har en tidig flight. Runt hörnet fanns stranden och flera restauranger. Busshållplats 1 min bort som tog oss in till Palma smidigt.

Flyget inställt så kom en dag senare. Trots att jag både mailat och ringt för att hålla dem uppdaterade hade min bokning markerats som en No-Show. Efter lite strul och ett par samtal till chefen ordnades ett annat rum till oss. Vi hade bokat rum med balkong, men fick istället ett rum på markplan med uteplats. Denna uteplats var inte privat utan snarare en genomgång till den större gatan utanför.
Själva rummet var slitet, lampor saknades, lampknappar trasiga och lister som hade gott av.
Mycket bra läge, men i stort behov av renovering.

Die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert und wir haben erst am nächsten Tag ein neues Zimmer bekommen. Ansonsten war es sehr sauber.

Leider hatte es im ersten Zimmer im Badezimmer sehr viel Schimmel. Netterweise durften wir das Zimmer wechseln und bekamen ein anderes Zimmer. Jedoch gab es dort auch ein wenig Schimmel, nicht sehr viel, aber ein wenig. Aber ansonsten für den Preis war es ganz angemessen

Personnel peu accueillant, lève les yeux aux ciel et soupirent dès qu’on ne parle pas leur langue ou qu’on leur demandait quelque chose.
Dans la chambre, le tuyaux de douche fuyait, les lits sont très inconfortable.
Pour manger, nous avions 2 chaises mais pas de tables alors que des plaques de cuissons sont à disposition.
Les sols de la chambre restent sales même après le passage des femmes de ménage qui sont censées nettoyer la chambre tous les jours. Sur un séjour de 10 jours, 3 jours elles ne sont pas passées.
Nous avons du aller à la réception à plusieurs reprises car les cartes d’accès de la chambre se désactivaient et nous pouvions plus accéder à la chambre.
Déçu de se logement pour le grand prix que nous avons payé.
Je déconseille pour un séjour de longue durée.
Pratique pour une nuit à la plage avant de retourner à l’aéroport car il est proche.
