The breakfast was cold every day. Only 1 day they bought out gluten free bread that you needed to ask for the other days they said there was none. You didn’t know what you could eat as there were no labels. Bar on the roof ran out of most beers as hotel was closing.

Staff were wonderful, food for breakfast and dinner was incredible! The room was a little squishy with the space around the wall and bed but was clean and tidy and perfect for our stay! Lots of buses to use to get to Palma etc think they should advertise this in the hotel for travellers

Loved everything about our stay. Especially the housekeeping staff. We noticed that when Patricia cleaned our room, everything smelled fresh and looked its best. Also, the wait staff were brilliant. The food was the best we’ve had at a hotel in Mallorca. It was a very short walk to the beach, good restaurants, and super markets. We would definitely stay here again.

Il personale dell’albergo fa la differenza di questa struttura. Tutti sorridenti e gentilissimi, la responsabile è italiana ed ha un pensiero gentile per tutti oltre ad essere estremamente di aiuto per qualsiasi cosa si abbia bisogno. Not great. I was there 7 nights. First night in room 403 directly across from the elevator. So noisy with people congregating late into the night and early in the morning. Requested a new room and they said they had nothing available. I said I’m not spending six more nights in that room. I practically had to beg and plead. Finally, another clerk stepped in and said they could move me to another room, but I’d have to bring my bags down and wait until later that day when another room would be available. In the second room, the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night. Then they tried to give me a lesson on how air-conditioning works. I said I’m from Texas where we run our air conditioner, at least 300 days out of the year. I know how they work. I said and besides that it was working when I went to sleep and then at three in the morning while I was sleeping. I woke up because it got warm in the room. So I didn’t touch any thing having to do with the air conditioner. Turns out it is The Sensor on the balcony door. That was not working properly. The next night air conditioner worked fine, but woke up and walked from the bed into the bathroom and slipped because there was a huge puddle that I assume was caused by the air conditioner. I wiped it up with three bath towels called to report it. The repair man said I don’t see any leaks. However, the wall and the molding were swollen from water damage. So this was an ongoing issue. Disaster!

Absolutely amazing! I loved everything about this place: room,staff, facilities, roof top bar with fabulous views, food and drinks, breakfast. One of the best stays I ever had. Our stay at this hotel was a bit disappointing. The room didn’t match our expectations for a 4 star hotel—there was only a single sheet on the bed, with no duvet at all, which made it uncomfortable. The sink drained very slowly, and for two mornings, the water wasn’t working, so we had to wait to shower.

The balcony was also a letdown, as it faced a wall just a couple of feet away, making it impossible to enjoy any view or even see much of the sky.

On the positive side, the pools were nice, the staff was friendly and the location was great, but the issues with the room made the stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.

The bathroom shower is extremely small!!! like a cruise shower or smaller, if you can pay feo premium room

No Iron in the room( but you can request one )

Parking is difficult, need to find parking, sometimes 5 or 7 blocks away

Staff very nice and friendly

The Buffet breakfast is very worth it!!!!! Amazing food!!

Next time I go to Mallorca I will pay extra money for waterfront room!!!!

The front desk staff is extremely rude and has the worst service. They are not helpful. I am a frequent traveler and this is probably the worst service I’ve received in my lifetime. Also, housekeeping is terrible. Underneath the sheets there were food crumbs and termites walking from the wooden headboards. They do not swap out any of the towels, even when place on the floor as instructed. They will simply refold the same used towels to make it seem like they were changed. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. I would also advise them to hire a pest control company to fumigate the hotel because they have a termite infestation.

Sea view room was far too small with no room either side of the bed. Room smelt of sewerage and reception confirmed that some rooms had the problem because of recent rain. Reception brought a bottle of bathroom cleaner and sprayed in the shower and said to keep the window open. We moved room and issues resolved.

I just loved this hotel. It was only small & in the back streets of Palma but it impressed me lots. The decor was gorgeous. Very up to date & cute. With its Low hanging straw lampshades & wicker stools. All very ethical & my cup of tea. Would definitely return.

We checked in around 1PM tired from our flight, we went up to the room and the keys didn’t work, a housekeeper opened the door for us. We were given a small room with two beds together. We were 3. Air conditioner did not work. We took a nap for 5 hours and decided to come back downstairs and ask about the keys, the AC and the possibility to upgrade, since the room was small. The receptionist couldn’t find me by my room #. So I panicked and suggested him to look me up by last name. We were given the wrong room and they told us that the air conditioner is turned off by management and that on Monday (the next day) they will have a meeting about it and see if they can turn it on. They refused to upgrade us for the inconvenience and was told to come back tomorrow and speak
To management, but we were given a bottle sparkling drink, valued at 4.45 euros. Upon check out, we spoke to them about our concerns again and was told we need to pay for late check out anyways, 20 Euros. There is no parking and their answer
Was always “it’s just how it is here” The guys at the bar were great, besides them this hotel has nothing impressive, hospitality and the willingness to help was none existent to these employees.

The room I was allocated was no more than a storage room with a shower. I paid €300 for 3 nights. I complained at reception shortly after check in & was told there was nothing they could do that night. I went back at 8am before breakfast and was basically told ‘not our problem, contact hotels.com’ the receptionist was borderline rude. They still insisted that they didn’t have another room to move me to do I requested a refund. After over an hour on the phone to hotels.com & then trying to contact the hotel (the phone was literally ringing as I was stood there & I was telling them it’s hotels.com) they didn’t bother to answer it. I eventually got to downs to a manager after 11am who stood there & said nothing. No apology from him or the receptionist, just a blank face. He eventually agreed to refund 2 nights instead of the 3 I paid for. I’ve never been to this side of the island before & I’ve got to say it tainted my love for Majorca. I visited 3 times last year & 3 times this year, I’ve never known such horrible customer service, rude and no empathy whatsoever. I’ll stick to my usual resort in the future! Single bed facing a door, no balcony just a window where there was no privacy as private flats were facing. NOT worth €100 per night! It was basically a storage room with a bed thrown in it. Shouldn’t even be sold as a room.

The room we got had a terrible smell that came from the drain of the shower, it smell like sewer. The rooms are very small so the smell of the bathroom made the whole room stinky. We reported this to Expedia and the front desk of the hotel. The receptionist wasn’t helpful and her attitude was not friendly or customer service at all. We left the hotel after one night because we couldn’t stand the smell of the room, it made us cough. I asked the receptionist to submit a report and copy me in the email. She didn’t do it. The cleaning team came to the room to take a look, and they agree the room was stinky. We asked Expedia for a refund of the extra nights we were not staying and the hotel refused to give us a refund. It is very frustrating and disappointing that the hotel is not giving us the refund. The reason we left the hotel is because of the room smell like sewer. It is not fair for customers to pay for a hotel to stay and receive a stinky room and poor customer service.

Things we liked about Hotel HM Alma Beach: conveniently by the beach, walkable to many restaurants, the hotel breakfast we included with our reservation was great.

What can be improved: early check-in is not available even when the room is ready. The hotel strictly insists not to give out the room prior to checkin time. Noise from the hallway and stairwells can be annoying. You can hear every step and sound from the hallway and stairway in your room.

Estoy encantada con mi estancia en Alma Beach. El hotel es hermoso muy bien localizado, los trabajadores muy atentos y amables. Mi único problema fue que al yo reservaré en Línea pedí habitación para dos personas pero la persona que viajaba era sólo yo. Ahí mismo decía que el precio era para dos personas. Al llegar me dijeron que tenia que pagar poco más de trescientos euros por la otra persona. Aunque le mostré ala recepcionista que en mi recibo decía que el precio era para dos persona tube que pagar más cual para mi no tenía ningún sentido .

Basic room and amenities. Only side sea view obstructed by unpleasantly looking buildings. Despite what the photos show neither the rooms or the rooftop pool have marina view. They only have side and restricted sea view. Photos are misleading and maybe intentionally as nowhere it is listed that rooms have side sea view. Breakfast restaurant has view to a small swimming pool. Not a bad hotel but pricy given to what it offers.

Very chic nice hotel.. they had a great buffet breakfast and a roof top pool. we went early so there was no crowd.
only problem is they dont offer room service and the staff is not fluent in english. they pick the words you say to understand you, weird since this is an island resort. they was some places to eat if you are also looking for a fresh seafood.
the room was clean and the amenities were great. i recommend this hotel with family. but if you wanna party get a hotel to palmanova close to magaluf.
this hotel is close to airport and about 15mins from the town center

The room was the smallest I’ve ever seen.
The reception is hidden away and the receptionist was very short.
There was a tiny room to change with a shower that didn’t work.
The pool had 20 beds maximum for a hotel that has over 200 rooms.
The pool bar was unmanned constantly.
The room’s bathroom was not clean in the sink and all around it.
The view was of a wall 2 yards from the window.
Breakfast was good.
No facilities to change when leaving.

After staying at another HM Hotel in Arsenal last year, we were disappointed beyond words.

Short stay in April 2022. Close proximity to the airport, approx €15 in taxi. Located close to the beach, 2 minute walk, and withing walking distance of restaurants etc.
Clean and well maintained hotel and rooms. Booked a double balcony room, single beds and very small floor space in the room. Suited for our stay as stayed for 3 nights.
Breakfast was included in our room rate, good choice but very busy at certain times especially close finishing at 10.30am.
Rooftop pool area is small but very enjoyable space overlooking the beach, small bar area. Larger pool on the ground floor, small amount of loungers around the pool. You can rent pool towels at reception - €10 deposit per towel and returned on checkout.
Overall enjoyed our stay.

Perfect hotel in every way.

Stayed with 2 friends and did Palma half marathon. Hotel was clean and beautiful decor. Infinity pool and bar at top great for chilling out. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Close to beach and restaurants. 5 mins from airport and short taxi or bus to Palma. Definitely recommend we had a Lovely stay and would come back. .

Pool area way too small, nowhere to sit or lay down . The hallways are really tight too . I got a room without balcony and I didn’t like it that much . The only window didn’t have a good view to the street or nothing.
The buffet was just ok. When I asked for an omelette to be made for me they used that liquid fake egg thing instead of using real eggs. If I wanted that I would have just eaten the one that was ready to grab.
Reception guy(night)was really nice, thumbs up for him.
The rooftop pool bartender was awesome too.

HM Alma beach offers a luxurious stay at an affordable price. It has a prime location, friendly staff, wonderful service, and most importantly... good air conditioning!

My only complaint is their lack of vegetarian food options at dinner. On a couple of days there was a decent selection, but on others there was hardly anything, and nothing was labelled with the ubiquitous \"V\" for clarity.

The proximity to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and the airport was perfect The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly, and helpful. The hotel restaurant was a real plus, friendly staff, great food and reasonably priced, excellent wine and cocktails too. My wife and I will definitely will be back.

the location was great! 5 min walking to Can Pastilla beach and 15min taxi ride to the Cathedral. The property amenities and swimming pool were lovely, breakfast was great! One low point is that aren't any bedrooms with queen beds available at the property, despite what was advertised during the booking.

HM Alma beach is an excellent place. we enjoyed every minute there, the reception staff were very nice and friendly and the location is brilliant, close to the beach front, shops and restaurants! There is a little bar called 3 Chicos close by definitely worth visiting!! what a little gem!!

Small but modern spaces with elegant finishes and details. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool has limited chairs so it’s best to get there earlier. Well worth it, however, as it is really relaxing and the bar serves great cocktails.

Great location; only 5min taxi ride from the airport and walking distance to the beach as well as shops and restaurants.

Nice hotel but needs picking up and moving !

Lovely clean hotel . Not in the best roads , very over looked by local residents walking around in their underwear ! Views from the bedrooms onto backside roads . No views except from the roof top pool . Which in high season was too busy to get a sun lounger .
Clean , great food , good staff but rooms very small . Just enough room to walk around the bed but that’s it .
The resort is very very German . Very lively with loads of German stag does . Apparently it’s the German magaluf the taxi driver told us .
In all nice hotel but not the right street/ area for us .

Warning: THE HOTEL IS NOT OPEN!

Please note: THIS HOTEL IS NOT OPEN! We arrived, having not been notified, to a building site. We spent about 30 mins on the phone before we were relocated to their sister hotel, HM Balanguera Beach, which was about 15 mins away. We were upgraded there and the staff were lovely, and after a terrible start we were really happy with our stay - but at a different hotel!
Hotels.com should NOT have this as a listing if it is not open.
