The hotel is very dirty and does not look at all like the pictures on the website. The carpet is dusty and dirty, the couches are dirty, and the room smells nasty. The bed was not made and the rooms were very dark because lights were not working. There was trash overflowing for days, the grass had not been cut, and the hotel was cluttered with old air conditioners, drywall, and outdated furniture. I only stayed because there was nowhere else to go at such a late hour. This was a terrible experience. The hotel was understaffed and unhealthy. I would caution anyone to find other means than this hotel.

Not even close to what I had booked. It was a mess. Bedding was disgusting. Full of stains, floors were gross not swept or washed. Couch arms are black the couch is red. The whole property is over grown. The foot path in back also. Sheets off wood. The fountain in front hasn't been painted or on in years. The building outside is falling apart. Inside had this smell I couldn't explain. The pool looked the same. I checked in at 11:00 at night I was traveling with my 11-year-old. And when we got into the bed to turn it down that's when I noticed all of the stains the gum. I had to run back out to the car to grab our traveling blankets so I laid a sheet and then our blankets on top of us. I checked out and didn't stay the next night. I'd give it a negative five.

The entire place is run down. It feels as if a hotel that was on a YouTube video of urban exploration was bought, spiced up just ever so slightly, and opened up. Very backrooms feeling. Not dirty in our room per se but incredibly old and decrepit. Honestly if you can avoid it, I’d find something else.

The exterior is getting redone, hopefully they do some work on the inside as well. This is an old Clarion, so you can see the bones of what used to be a nice hotel in here.

There were dead bugs and spills on the floor, the elevator moves so slowly between the only two floors that I thought it was broken, and the walls are so thin you can hear that every door beeps on and off for 30 seconds after opening.

There are broken windows on several first floor rooms, leading to a trashy image.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it leaves a lot to be desired. The general facilities are in desperate need of a major update and a deep clean. The room itself is also very outdated and urgently needs a remodel, but I will say I was genuinely grateful that it was, at the very least, clean.
The breakfast was very disappointing—just bare-bones and scarce. And the coffee was terrible. Even by regular American coffee standards, it was so watered down it looked like coffee-flavored tea. I honestly thought it was decaf!
It’s obvious that the hotel is severely short-staffed, which probably explains the poor upkeep of the common areas. I appreciate the clean room, but the property as a whole needs a lot of attention.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past when it was ran by another chain. The last time I stayed at this location was back in 2018. We loved the pool. When we pulled into the parking lot the first thing I noticed was the uncut grass and trash in the lot and knew the property had gone downhill. Gave it a chance as the property looked to be under renovation. Windows, doors and tables all had dust and streaks typical of renovation. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and welcoming but the hotel seemed to be short staffed. Main lobby bathroom was dirty and had no toilet paper and overflowing garbage. Got to the room had a strange order, the glass doors had a rather strange hand and arm print on it all of the furniture looked to be old and run down, the bath tub was stained and dirty and had termites dead and alive in it. The beds had a sheet, blanket and then another sheet as the comforter, one of the beds “comforter” had stains on it. There were screws laying on the window ledge. A tissue holder was behind the tv it was empty and covered in dust. The pool is indoor and outdoor pool and the out door part had a cover over it and the patio looked run down and not where to sit. I did see a sign that said under new management. I don’t know when or why this beautiful property became so run down but it was very upsetting and hope that the new management will restore it, however that was probably the last time my family and I will stay at this property again.

Looked like they are working on fixing up the place but to be honest place seemed very messy. Several rooms sitting wide open with construction debris, very visible. Laundry room sitting wide open – kind of looks like a bomb went off in there. Utility cart just sitting in hallway with trash. Door to room would not stay locked unless slammed. Not sure what was going on but almost every door on floor was propped open with lock. Even though there was a sign in room of extra charge for smoking the entire hallway and room smelled like cannabis, which I don’t really mind too much but wow. The exterior needed some help also. Grass wasn’t cut, fountain was not working, and quite a bit of trash laying around in the parking lot. That being said bed was comfortable enough, and the staff was very nice and very helpful. Perfectly fine place to spend the night I guess during a road trip but I wouldn’t make plans to stay there.

Absolutely Horrible,they were in a full renovation,when I pulled up the outside facade was all off, 2 men was painting one side. I was going thee because the Tornado had knocked the power out, needed to power up my device and connect with the news. So I said to myself maybe the inside isn’t so bad, let’s just check it out. I went in and the lights was off and the front desk area looked dusty,I knew it was dated decor from the pictures on the website, that’s why the price was cheaper than the others. I had to call for the front desk Clerk, he came 5 minutes later,and proceeded to take me to the first room on the first floor, the door had been kicked in, and they had repaired it, I hurried in to check it because they had a sign at the front desk that said you have 15 minutes to let management know if you have a problem with the room.
So the Clerk was with me showing me the room. My problem with all the rooms he showed me was the bedding and the Bathrooms was dirty looking and dingy, he showed me 4 different rooms, I wasn’t happy with none of them. So I lost my 68 dollars because I refused to stay there. The blessed thing about it was my lights came on that night. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay there it not up to par for Service,it should be closed , until they finish there renovations.Shame on Wyndham of Howard Johnson, please do better . One disappointed Customer .

I realize they are under new management and trying to renovate. But basic cleanliness was missing. There were fresh linens in our room, but otherwise it was obvious that it hadn’t been cleaned. Dead bugs and dirt on the floor, the toilet bowl still had things stuck to it from the last guests. No soap, single roll of toilet paper was almost empty, and shower curtain was moldy.

I thought I was getting a good place for my family, because it wasn't the cheapest and it was near a Costco, but boy was I wrong. This place is a creepy, weird, dirty, place that could have been the set for a horror film. It looks like an abandoned haunted hotel from the 70's. Cheap paint jobs with splattered paint everywhere, unmoved grass, construction material outside, broken window, the smell of cigarettes everywhere, what else can I say, the carpet was torn and stained...I could go on and on. Just stay away! Trust me! Anything, but this place.

The hotel is under reconstruction and completely unsafe for any human being to stay there, but especially women since the women’s restroom door won’t even close/lock to allow you privacy… there’s very little staff in the hotel, mostly construction workers working in the full remodel. Walls are coming apart, restroom door locks are broken and cannot be fully closed, everything is awfully dirty, staff is not helpful at all, and they won’t agree to reimburse you after you travel all the way there and decide to leave for your own safety. They are scamming people to make reservations, but literally, there’s no one staying there because it is inhabitable. The manager is never around and does not respond to emails. Save your time and money and run from this scam hotel. Pictures of the deplorable construction site were sent to Expedia but so far, no action has been taken…

I have no words. The hotel looked like it was closed down when we arrived. Any company advertising this hotel on their site should send a representative to the premises so can witness for themselves what a terrible experience they are subjecting their customers to. We had to place a chair in front of our door as it didnt lock. This wouldnt have kept potential intruders out, but at least we would have heard any attempts of entry. Since the contract with Hotel.com was we had to cancel before date of stay we had no alternative, but to stay there or lose our money.

I have honestly never seen a hotel in conditions this bad still actively accepting reservations. The entire property looked abandoned, unsafe, and under construction. There were piles of dead branches, debris, garbage, and overgrown landscaping throughout the property. Scaffolding surrounded sections of the building, the exterior looked half-painted and unfinished, and the overall atmosphere felt more like a condemned property than a functioning hotel.

The fountain area was filled with stagnant, filthy water, broken down and completely neglected. Walkways and common areas were dirty and poorly maintained. At night, the property felt incredibly unsafe. Nothing about this place remotely resembled the photos advertised online.

To make matters worse, there was vomit on the floor inside the hotel. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about the cleanliness and management of this property. It was absolutely disgusting.

Expedia should be embarrassed for continuing to list this hotel while showcasing misleading photos and reviews that do not reflect reality at all. This was not simply an outdated hotel. This was a health, safety, and sanitation issue. Guests are paying money expecting a safe and clean stay and instead walking into a property that looks abandoned and barely operational.

I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to stay somewhere else immediately. One of the worst travel experiences I have ever had.

If I could give this place a 0 I would soon as we checked in we were told we had 15mins to inspect the room because basically not being able to switch or get a refund. I inspected the room within seven or eight minutes came down stairs to report there were blood stains on my sheet and bugs on my floor. Spoke with the front desk clerk who gave me the opportunity to switch rooms went to the second room, there were roaches on the curtains crawling. I went back downstairs showed the staff the video. He basically told me he cannot approve my refund. He did not have the authority to do that he did not have a number for his management team so he gave me an email address and basically gave me a hard time the whole time. I let him know I will be reporting it to Expedia as well as the Better Business Bureau due to the conditions of the hotel I would not recommend.

This property must have been a condemned an recently bought. Owners should not have opened this property to be a rent ready hotel. Outside is terrible with no curb appeal. They are trying to make the building look better but there is construction debris everywhere along with a large amount of trash everywhere. Property needs mowing and landscaping needs a LOT of help. Bushes and trees dead and grass and flowers beds need a lot of work. Fountain needs repair. The pictures online are deceiving and deceptive. The pool is scary looking and definitely doesn't look like you could enjoy. The Full breakfast was just bread and a few cereal, not even a contintial breakfast. No drinks but Sunny D and milk. Rooms are severely outdated and need improvement. Bed was lumpy and my wife was bitten by some type of bug. We think it was bed bugs. I could go on further but I think everyone is getting a clear picture. Stay away and save your money. They even have a no refund sign posted at the desk while you check in. You ve been warned.

Most lighting in the parking lot not working. Property under repair, and the pictures do not at represent the poor condition of the property. The desk attendant was outside when I arrived smoking with a friend. Was wearing a dirty jacket as he checked me in. Another staff memeber had his feet propped up on a table and did not move when I entered. The entire building was cold. Had to move rooms due to dirty sheets and stained sofa in room.
The second room was slightly cleaner, except for the tub which had a razor cover in it, and a badly stained shower curtain. The cable box power was linked in with the main light switch, so when I cut off the light, the cable box would also go off.
Breakast was advertised, but very odd and lacking.
Awful place.... would never go back. Its so bad that there is a sign giving you 15 minutes to lidge complaints, and another explaining that the desk clerk cannot give refunds. THEY know its bad.

The pictures have to be old. The first room was dirty had no toilet paper. They moved us second room had no fridge just empty space lamp sitting on floor. I understand it looks like there are some renovations and the hotel is older but you should be able to keep the front and ten rooms in good working condition while you do so and unclean rooms there is never an excuse! Also I had to call for the front desk from the front desk which was hard to do when I forgot my phone in first room and the phone in second room didn’t work!! Just overall bad experience! Oh and no hot tub even though it says there is one and the pool was not open so ya I would work on the hot mess of a hotel you have because you won’t get any business if you keep running it like this, and for Wyndham to have its name on it too very surprised!

Whoever was working on Froday, October, 10th at 11:30 was very rude, I book a room with two beds in one room for two nights and she said that I didn't have anything booked under my name and to call the number I was given; even thought I showed her all the receipts of me paying for the room. So after being declined multiple times of her sayings I didn't have any bookings I ask how much would I have to pay for the room that I originally asked for and she said $560 dollars which I believe is a bit expensive so I didn't pay. After before I walked out I called the number that I was told to call and when I did her phone or the hotel phone started ringing signally that I had all of my information correct and the lady there stared at me stupidly like she doesn't know whats going on. And as I was walking away another gust came running downstairs complaining about how the beds weren't clean and the room was very unsanitay and that its not a place of comfort. So for my overall experience it sucked because how in any circumstance did she not realized already had a room I pre-booked before arriving and then had the adacity to cancel my stay but yet still tried taking off my credit card.

They gave me a room with no running water, and the key wouldn’t open the door so they had to open the door for me with the master key. So they gave me another room with smaller beds and one of the bedsheets had cigarette burn marks.

The landscape was unkept, bushes needed trimming, a tall ladder was outside near windows, a screen was torn.
The tub had stains, towel rack over toilet broke when a towel was removed, a sock was under the bed and other debris, floor needed mopping, hallway needed cleaning, no base boards, a door was visibly broken, my door didn’t lock! Needed another room!

During the weekdays, there are hot waffles. Weekend a larger selection of hot items. Always a nice continental offering. Friendly staff. The near future holds plans for upgrades, but I am happy now.
The only thing I would change, is a cooler lobby climate in the summer. The rooms are adjustable to your preferences.

This hotel is not ready to be open. This looks like another Wyndham property that is refurbished as a budget hotel. Lots of things not ready yet. Elevator out of order, ice machine (first floor) out of order, ice machine (second floor) so dirty, I didn't wouldn't take ice. Room furniture very old, desk chair broken, hallway light burned out making it very dark. Breakfast was subpar, even for a budget hotel. Constuction material still in various places. Parking lot area overgrown. The saving grace was the room and bed were clean. Stayed Oct 4 - 5 2025

The staff were nice upon check-in. However, our room was very uncomfortable. It was so hot and stuffy, and the AC obviously did not work. It did not cool and hardly blew air out. The bed was comfortable, but it was hard to sleep with it being so warm. There weren’t all the usual toiletries in the bathroom, for example, no soap and a lack of washcloths.

DO NOT STAY. Horrible. Stale smoke throughout. Room key would not work
Latch on side of door missing plate. Exposed sharp metal. Floors were sticky. No new toilet paper. Left roll from last customer. Mold in bathroom. Bed made horrible sound when sitting on. TV did not work.
Should have left immediately!

this hotel isn’t perfect but its cheap, $300 for three nights not so bad if you decide to get a hotel cheap don’t expect it to be perfect. my experience was okay the lights flickered and shut off nothing a window cant help though. bed was clean and everything was decently clean they do need to check under things while cleaning bcz i found some deodorant and condoms😂but overall it was fine we didnt stay the whole day we went out. nobody came into our room and bothered our belongings so thats a plus. If your on a budget go here no bed bugs no bad things but if you are a little more bougie find somewhere else

Outside needs work like everyone says. Inside wasnt bad, but the AC was either off or broken for sure. When we got to our room, it was so hot. We turned the AC on right away but it never really cooled down. Bed and sheets were clean, floor didn't feel great but bathroom was clean. Fridge was broken, had to ask for hair dryer, there was no iron. Asked for one extra pillow and there were none clean. Breakfast was fine/very basic. Didn't swim as the hours

Nice staff, dirty hotel.

The elevator was broken when we arrived. We have an 11 mo old baby, so we have a stroller, as well as luggage for our children and ourselves. The hotel staff gave us a room on the first floor.
Immediately after arriving in the room, we saw a massive spider on the floor. About an hour later, we saw another one. Then we saw a third and fourth one on the walls.
The wall behind the toilet had black mold. The remote control for the TV did not work. The floor was absolutely filthy. Our baby’s feet, hands, and legs were covered in dirt.
We requested a new room at 11:00pm and the staff was very accommodating. They gave us a new room on the second floor.
We no longer had the issue with spiders, and the room was slightly cleaner.
When we brought the kids to play in the pool, it was way too cold to swim. They both got out shivering.
There were broken railings in the pool area.
The breakfast was good. Waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, coffee, cereal, milk, and orange juice were the options.
