Hotel was in a good central location for our needs. Staff were friendly but not very knowledgeable or helpful when it came to questions about attractions in the area.

However when checking out and needing a cab, one of the doorman offered to call one for us. However we soon realized he was scamming us by calling a “friend” who needed 20 minutes to arrive and who wanted 20 Euros for a trip that should cost about 5 Euros. We simply walked to the corner and immediately hailed a yellow taxi that took us to our destination at a standard/cheaper metered rate.

Bathrooms are old and cracking. The noisy from outside is doesn’t allow you to sleep. The spa facility closes at 7 pm and is very outdated. Not worth the money.

Stay was good but needs improvement in service

The worst part is someone from front desk created Radisson reward account on my behalf, without my permission nor authorization
I specifically answered NO when we checked in.
As soon as we checked out this morning account was created
I received an email fro Radisson to confirm creation of the account.
I walked into hotel 2 nights ago very thirsty and asked for water but front desk said they will send bottles of water to our room which was never delivered to us, we were forced to drink tap water

Staff is one of the friendliest that I have come across. They ensure that all guests are well looked after and comfortable.

The hotel is situated on a hill, but its not far to walk to the main street and trams. The location for me was perfect as it had a good combination of being close to liveliness but far enough away that you dont hear any of the noise.

The hotel facilities are a bit dated and could do with a bit of a revamp. The beds are not the most comfortable, but its not bad either. That being said, the staff always ensure that the hotel is neat, tidy and clean

Everything about my stay was good, except the hotel was very busy and seems primarily designed for business travelers. Although I traveled to Istanbul for business, I really wanted to enjoy my leisure time. However, the sauna and pool were closed for the rest of the day, which was quite annoying. On a positive note, the breakfast was great. If you’re requesting a sea view, make sure to choose a hotel that truly offers a real sea view without too many other properties blocking the view from your window. One more thing: the walls are not soundproof, which made it inconvenient to hear noises from other rooms.

Check out time was 12, we had two rooms, it was 15 till noon and someone was outside our rooms, told us to get out. She entered one of our rooms and told my family to leave immediately. Then the lady stood outside our other room next door, with a straight face. I had to talk to the front desk about this outrageous attitude and treatment.

We enjoyed our stay at the Radisson. We liked that it’s within walking distance to many shops, Grand Bazaar and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again if we go back. The only downside is the AC could’ve been a bit colder, I don’t think it was working properly. The amenities in the bathroom was not refilled when emptied.

Wonderful location close to many main historical sites, shops, restaurants and public transportation. The hotel itself is very clean, personnel were very kind and helpful, and the rooms full of facilities and technology. The street is not very clean by the end of the day, it is not garbage but pieces of cardboard and plastic left by some shop vendors. Humid zone should be open until 10pm (it closes at 7pm) as most turists return to the hotel around 6pm.

I understand that the AC doesn't work in April, however, the city itself is too loud to keep the windows open, especially with the calls to prayer made 5 times a day, including those made at surise. Besides, some nights I was sweating even with the window completely open.
Having the windows open also comes with insects getting in your room. This only happened onces.
I would still repeat and recommend this hotel.

We really liked the location of the hotel. Close to a tram and the Grand Bazaar.
The choice at breakfast was good. Lots of fresh items hot and cold.
We ate in the Teras restaurant on our final night. The food was very nice, staff attentive and the views and sunset was fantastic.
We enjoyed having to pool to take a dip in after long days of walking and exploring the city.

Lovely front of house staff were absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The housekeeping staff also lovely and so helpful. Just one particular member of the waiting staff in the terrace restaurant was insistent on getting a tip for waiting on us and asked us several times even though we hadn't finished our meal. This one member of staff unfortunately has put us off ever going back.

Really liked the quality of the hotel. Clean. Staff is friendly and speaks multiple languages. Room have family suits so it was perfect for us. Two rooms with the door in between. We also asked for an extra bed for someone who stayed with us not the entire time and they provided with no issues. Liked the breakfast buffet. You can find food even for picky eaters. Roof top restaurant excellent view any time of the day. In good weather you can enjoy sitting outside. Food in the restaurant nothing special and overpriced but convenient. Food is defo very Americanised and europenised. However, I don’t like potatoes or fries, but theirs was good. Good menu selection of food and wine. The hotel also provided us with the link to taxi service. We were a group of 6 including a child. So it was worth it for us for airport pick up and drop off and we did one trip. Location is great, we just walked everywhere. Overall satisfied with our stay.

Azim was the best in guest relations. He was concerned about our experience. We stayed for 2 nights and decided to stay for another night and they gave us an upgraded room with a view. The pool was great and the massage was reasonable. Breakfast was great. If we ever return to Istanbul we will for sure stay at the Radisson Inn.

My stay at this hotel in Istanbul was disappointing due to constant noise issues and poor customer service.

On the first night, I was placed in a first-floor room, where outside noise and disturbances from the floor below made it impossible to sleep. The next day, I requested a room change and was moved to the fifth floor. Unfortunately, the problems continued—rowdy guests next door argued loudly and even smashed things. Although the hotel staff were informed and called to ask them to stop, the noise persisted.

The new room faced the roadside, leading to further disruption from late-night traffic. Additionally, events from the dining area above added to the disturbance, making restful sleep difficult. Throughout the stay, Expedia provided no helpful support, which only added to the frustration.

Overall, the lack of effective management and poor customer service from both the hotel and Expedia made for an unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful and well-managed stay in Istanbul.

I stayed here on a recent visit to Istanbul, and it met the needs of my stay. It is very quiet, but also very close to the tramway line and the tourist area of the city. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the room was a comfortable place to rest after many hours of site-seeing each day. I would stay here again.

I don’t recommend to stay here

The hotel is pretty old. I booked two nights here. One was from the Raddison website. They didn’t offer any upgrade to the gold members. And their spa opens at 10 am and closes at 7 pm. It is ridiculous as most tourists are out during those hotels. The rubbish bin in the room was very old and dirty. And the restaurant staff “ implied” there was no “ service fee” included and we can only pay cash ( in fact they wanted tips). It is not a good choice to stay there at all

We stayed here for four nights in December. Our room was clean and in good repair, with a powerful shower, and the overall cleaning service was very good. However, the air-conditioning did not work in the room, and we were baking to the extent that we could not sleep for the first two nights, which is not great when traveling with children as it ruins your holiday. The central air-conditioning is only set to hot in winter, and the radiators are switched on, which led me to search for alternative accommodation on the first night. I asked reception for a fan, which they promptly brought, making the heat more tolerable.

On the second day, we were not left three bottles of water; one had likely been drunk by room service due to the room being so hot! On the third day, we weren't left any water in the room, despite it being extremely hot again. The gym had a small indoor pool; we went there once with the kids, who did jump in even though it was very cold (not a heated pool). The hot tub was working but missing a pillow section on one side, and the steam room was out of service. There is a small area where the hotel leaves water and fruit at set times (1 o'clock). It would cost very little to have a tea/coffee station for guests and level up the hospitality. The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful at all times. Conveniently located and great value

We arrived at 08:45 and thought we'd have to wait until the afternoon to check-in. But we were given a room straight away. The reception staff were very helpful, courteous and professional. The room we were given smelt of bad drains so they immediately ordered us an alternative and a complementarity breakfast as the alternative room wasnt going to be ready unti after 11am. This gave us time to walk the 5 minutes to the Grand Bazaar.
The alternative room was fine. The breakfast was of high standard and the restaurant staff were very attentive.

The only down size was the extortionate prices in the hotel British style pub. Just under £7 for a regular 300cl glass of beer.

We purchased the prepaid top up travel cards for the tram and ferry.

Take a 20 minute trip via the ferry to the Asian side where prices for food and shopping is more competitive.

The hotel is in the center of everything ..touristic area and all the historical places /structures are within a walking distance gr the hotel..the staff are very good attending to everyone’s needs. Near tourist attractions (easy to walk everywhere). Safe area. Tram about 100 meters from hotel if needed and each trip about 20cents AUS. Staff at desk helpful for all booking and advise. Only thing to note is the pool was very cold. Breakfast great selection and worth paying. Bottled water every day in room and plenty in foyer to take on outings. Fabulous stay. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is located nearby a tram station. Very good for getting around. The hotel offers a drink of infused water and green apples at the lobby, it is great for us because after coming back to hotel, we were often thirsty:)

Lovely friendly staff and a great location within a ten min walk of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Basilica Cistern. Our sea view room was spacious enough for a city break & very clean with good facilities although bathroom a little tired looking. The breakfast room and choice of food is excellent. Avoid the bar if you want to save money as drinks are extremely expensive. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again 🙂
