Great experience. Location was great and accessible to lime bikes/scooters. Very close to the capital building. Loved the reclinable light. Only thing is I did not have a trash can in the room besides the one in the bathroom. Other than that excellent.

If only there had been coffee and tea available - especially early in the morning - I would have rated this stay very highly. Great location with clean & comfy rooms. Friendly & helpful staff. But getting out of bed for early morning meetings in DC requires caffeine. Truly would not recommend due to that one major shortcoming.

The property is near various hotels and only a few minues from Union Station. The room was clean but they have no coffee, water or minibar. I had breakfast downstairs for $30 with tip only to find my eggs had hair in them. The staff is rigid and comes off rude. For the amount you pay, I recommend you stay at a different hotel.

Clean, hi tech, spacious rooms. Very convenient (walking distance) to Union Station and the US Capitol complex and a short walk to several name brand convention hotels. Expedia promised a $20 good & beverage credit, but hotel offered only an (unwanted (bottle of wine.

Staff was friendly and helpful. No coffee machines and restaurant is closed on the weekends. So had to leave the property just yo find a cup of coffee. Also no hand towels. Only 2 bath towels and one wash cloth in the bathroom. Seems to have gone downhill in the last two years. Probably will not stay here again.

I always look for a bar and restaurant in the hotel when I book and it’s important that they are available, especially on the weekend.

Room was good. And staff was good. Lights didn't work properly always. Hallway of whole floor STUNK like cigarette smoke which was absolutely disgusting and I have asthma. Extremely disappointed that the roof was closed with the fire pit. Which is one of the reasons I book that hotel

The hotel charged me an extra $35 tax that was supposed to be already included with the Expedia fee. The rooms are small and renovated, but the walls between units are so thin, I could hear the next-door folks coughing all night. It is nearly impossible to figure out how the light switches work. There was no iron in the room. I called the concierge and she promised to have one delivered. I waited for 30 mins, but no one showed up. The location is convenient, but the neighborhood is dodgy at night.

Room was nice. We had a double queen. That’s about it. No coffee machine or microwave in rooms. Just a mini fridge but clean.

Check in was miserable. We came in as a group of 8 in two rooms. 5 kids, 3 adults. We came in 2 hours after 3pm (check in time) and were told to sit in the lobby because the rooms weren’t ready. (?) that was the first red flag. Amenities in feb (president day weekend) were terrible. We couldn’t cash in the $10 in food and bev credit because the cafe is closed on Sundays. Of course the pool is closed. $35 resort fee isn’t justified just for fitness center and water station. Our Expedia $29 food and bev credit was also not honored. We’re told they give wine bottle instead. We didn’t want that. They told us the alternative is 2 bottles of water. LOL We asked for towels at 6:30 p. Called again at 7 then 8 then 9. Finally arrived at 9:30p. Wild. Do not stay here. Stay across the street at Hyatt regency instead. Kicking ourselves for not doing that. Saving a few pennies here isn’t worth it.

Many things wrong here. First of all $30 a day facility fee? For what? A pool that was closed? Second, when I booked it was advertised that there was coffee at every floor. Nope. The only coffee was at their restaurant that didn’t open until 7:30am and closed Saturday -Sunday. Speaking of the breakfast, it $28 a person and the buffet didn’t offer half of what was advertised. It was cold and a rip off. We had dinner there our first night and the dining room was closed so we had to eat in the bar area. That was fine but I’m pretty sure the bartender was alone because it took forever and when we got our food it was cold. Checking in was funny. We tried to use the kiosk but it said the room wasn’t ready. So we waited and we waited for someone to help us. Finally we got rude. And that was the last time we were even acknowledged in the 5 days/ 4 nights we were there… until we checked out. Our checkout lady was at least nice. There’s a lot of little things that just added up to not a great experience. Oh and we were supposed to get a free bottle of wine with our stay. That did not happen.

The hotel wasn't bad but i was promised a breakfast voucher for somewhat 40 dollars. When i arrived they said they don’t offer that anymore but would give me a winebottle, but i don’t drink alcohol. Than the elevator did not work and had to walk 7 floors with my luggage. Pool was on the 12th flooor which i was not going to walk with my bathing suit through the nasty staircase. My one night stay was not pleasant. They only gave me 30$ off and did not answer expedia.

It was good, however I am a Premium VIP member and I got several emails saying I would get a voucher for a meal at their restaurant, but when I got there they said they don’t do those anymore. This was a bit disappointing.
The hotel was clean, the staff was kind, the beds were very comfortable. No hand towels or wash towels, which is a bit odd for a hotel to not have. The toilet paper was also a bit quirky. It wasn’t on a roll, but rather in a box (think tissue box). It wasn’t great but it worked.

Disappointed that the restaurant is closed mon and tue, so the food and beverage credit you are supposed to get as part of the $35 per day fee is worthless. Worse...no coffee/tea in the rooms and on Mon and Tue, not to be found in the hotel. Staff is great but lack of coffee/tea makes it a nogo for me in the future

They don’t provide wash clothes or hand towels, the $29 voucher wasn’t given; we received a cheap bottle of wine instead. The toilet paper was individual pieces, not a roll. Couldn’t access the lobby restroom. The bar closed before the listed hours. Parking was $70/day. We were also charged $35 for incidentals that included nothing!

This hotel takes on the European theme no washcloths or hand towels. Charge me $.50 more to rent them and provide them, especially when I ask.

The we don’t offer them talk track is not taken care of your guest.

If you’re staying here, bring your own washcloths and hand towels. When I was checking out the person right before me said that someone in Housekeeping snuck them some and the front desk clerk said they would get in trouble. Outrageous. The housekeeping employee had more compassion for the comfort of the guest than the hotel chain.

I expected this property to be as posh as the New York and Boston locations. It was not and it was very disappointing. However, the staff were friendly and the room was clean but plain. It would have been nice if they provided us with washcloths and facecloths. It would have also been nice if the restaurant was open for dinner.

The furniture was chipped up and torn. I got in at midnight, the kiosk was barely working. I got all the way up to my room just to come back down because kiosk didnt scan the key. I went to shower - freezing cold water coming out of the shower.

Great location. 10 minute walk from Union Station- Amtrak, and 15 minute walk to Capital One Arena, which is where I went to see a concert. Also walking distance to the National Mall. Room was clean; bed was very comfortable (liked the adjustable up and down feature), was easy to work in the lobby before my room was ready. Only minor negative is that there wasn't eateries nearby- walked a block to grab coffee and a bagel.

Makalah at the front desk was super helpful with a room issue. She printed documents for me. She was super friendly and said hello / remembered me when I'd walk by. She was great.

The breakfast looked the same every day but has a decent selection... maybe other bagel options would be good.

The hotel is very convenient to the train station. The room is clean and big. I would say my only complaint was that in order to check in early you had to pay $55 for just a couple of hours in advance. Also, we interacted very little with anyone in the staff as everything is done by Computer

First of all, why all these fees. I got charged two $35 convenience fees. Then we had to pay $60 for parking which was ridiculous. Breakfast wasn’t even free and they were charging $25 per person for breakfast. I asked for a city view and they gave me a view of an alley way. Then I couldn’t even watch what i wanted to watch on the tv in the room because the phone casting was not “apart” of the package that I got and I got the second best package. The air conditioner was not working fully, it was hot in the room and they only have it set on low so I could not make it colder in the room when i would try to adjust it. To charge all those fees and add ons you would think this hotel would be so much better and worth the money. Never again will i be staying at this yotel hotel or any yotel. If i could get my money back, I would! Staying at this hotel, made my first time visiting Washington DC a horrible experience.

I love the fact that it’s so close to Union Station. I also got him very late at 10:30 and there was a diner right around the corner so that was very nice for me. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The lobby and room had a very modern look. However, the room lacked furniture for storing clothes and a wide desk for working. Light controls in the room looked modern but were not very intuitive. Garage Parking with in/out privileges was $60/day. The roof top looked very nice, but was closed for the season starting in October.
