When I checked in, the front desk agent was very friendly and quickly got me set up with a room key. When I went up to the room, it hadn’t been cleaned and the beds weren’t made. I went back downstairs and she was very apologetic, then reassigned me to another room.

The second room was better, but there was quite a bit of hair in the restroom. I understand it can be hard to catch every little detail, but this was noticeable. I was only staying one night and usually bring flip-flops to shower in hotels, so it wasn’t a major issue for me.

I didn’t try the breakfast since I decided to sleep in, but I did notice housekeeping knocking on my door around 9am even though checkout isn’t until noon.

Upon check-in the front desk agent wasn’t able to help or understand with a hotels.com booking and which card would be charged, she said she needed the manager named Morgan to figure it out the next morning. We needed bed clothes for the pull out bed the night of our stay and called down to the front desk and was told, sure they’ll be up shortly. 30 mins later I went down to the front desk and the night agent is sitting there assisting a guest so I waited and when it was my turn I explained what I was looking for and she said oh yes, I wrote that down but another guest brought me a necklace to untangle and I’ve been doing that. Really poor customer service. The tile in the pool room is super slick when wet. Not safe at all. Shock if there’s no lawsuit about it. Prob won’t be back to this location. We usually like Holiday Inn Express locations but not this one.

The whole hotel was under construction. We were not told about this while making the reservation. The fitness room was closed the entire stay (we were there 3 nights). The room never had house keeping service. We could hear EVERY step they people above us took. The fridge froze all of our drinks & my energy drink even exploded omside of it.

Staff was courteous. Room well, no coffee machines in the rooms. You had to go down to the office to ask for one. Also the room we had was 2 beds and a pull out sofa. There were no extra pillows, blankets, or sheets we had to go down to the office to get those as well. Breakfast was decent. And the pool and hot tub were nice.

Staff was nice. Cleanliness of the bathroom inside our room could of used some work. The guys that we doing the painting/remodeling whete outside throwing stuff in the big dumpster pretty late at night was difficult to get the kids to sleep.

From the moment we walked in the hotel the front desk agent was less than helpful and had awful customer service. We had specifically requested a conjoining room with our friends that were staying there as well. When checking in I asked if it room was conjoining and the lady said there was no way she could check the notes and see that we requested that. I told her that is what I wanted since that is what I requested. The clerk told me we could take care of it tomorrow and I said "no", "we will take care it now ". The pool closes promptly at 10pm so if you want to swim later better guess again. Our refrigerator in the room froze my drinks and they exploded. Our friend in the other room, theirs was not even plugged in and everything in it went bad. There was trash underneath the bed frame as well. Breakfast ends promptly at 10am and they will shut the lights off on you even if you are still in the breakfast area. I had to request several food items to be refilled. I requested more scrambled eggs to be made but he said since breakfast was almost over he want going to. ( I had been down at breakfast for 20 minutes and the eggs were low even then). They then proceeded to shut everything down promptly at 10 am and closed the door off and shut the lights off. I have never felt so rushed out of an area in all of my stays at other hotels. The only positive experience was once we talked with the manager and she genuinely apologized for everything and tried to make up for our experience

I left a blanket and went back same day 2 hrs later for the front desk said she would get with house keeping following day, mind you I didn’t live there hint is why we used hotel stay. So we called 6 other times before finally admitting they had the blanket after many promised unreturned calls.

I had a dirty shower that had hair on the walls and reported it after I checked in. I cleaned it myself but other than that I have never had any issues. I will stay here again! Great and friendly staff especially the kitchen staff. I also didn't get to link my membership to this stay but the young lady that checked me in said it would be done.

Our room and the hotel overall were very clean and quiet. The staff was excellent—especially Tyson, who helped us right away when we had an issue with the air-freshener system in the hallway.

Our only concern was that the air-freshener unit near our room was extremely strong. We would stay here again, but we would request a room farther away from one of these units. The scent level should really be turned down, as guests with allergies or sensitivity to strong smells may be affected. My husband’s eyes were burning, and my sinuses were irritated by the intensity.

First off they switched our room (which was paid for) from two beds to one because “they were oversold.” The employee said she was sorry, but did nothing to make up for it. The room was subpar. There was a hole by an outlet. Huge clump of hair in the drain. It was a handicap room with a role in shower (which we didn’t need) - the drip edge at the entry to the shower was gone and water just spilled out onto the floor. The shad on the window was broken and would not open. They had a guest laundry - but with only one set of machines. The machines required quarters, but there was no change machine and the front desk had no change. All in all, I think you could find a better place to stay.

We went to check into our room at midnight and somehow it was canceled, with no room left. With a huge event in town and no rooms anywhere, we ended up having to drive home getting home at 5 AM!

I had my confirmation number and email but still told me they didn’t have it. Super frustrating!!

The room appeared clean when we entered but then found blood and a long black hair on the sheet. The blood on the sheet was also on the mattress cover. There was a bug that I smashed on the mattress.
The picture had broken glass, the kurig did not work, the wall paper on the south east wall was rolling at the top 1/4.

The rooms were clean and quiet. The hotel itself looked clean and the amenities were wonderful. Breakfast in the morning had a wide variety of offerings. My kids were extremely happy with their room and the breakfast options.

The beds were comfortable and there was room to move around. The showers were nice, and it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was currently under renovation, and the hotel staff gave us a room where workers were working, and the key didn't work for the 1st room, and then the room was not rentable. Had to go back to the front desk where staff gave us a different room, but that phone didn't work, nor was there a window curtain put on. Went back to the front desk since the phone wasn't working, didn't find another room, or they were not interested in moving us, as the front desk staff were too lazy to get out of their chair to serve the guests. Slept the whole night with lights coming from the window. Also, the bathroom tub was not draining, and it was dirty, which is not an IHG standard.

Our experience at Holiday Inn Express was terrifying and traumatic. At approximately 11:30 pm, our room was broken into. A desk clerk mistakenly gave an access card to the previous night guest. The door was secured on the inside with the security latch. The inebriated man the broke that latch and came into the room. The phone was disconnected. I called front desk and was told the clerk made a mistake.
I’m hearing impaired with severe heart problems. Traumatic to say the least.

When we checked in there was no water in the hotel. We couldn’t use the bathroom, wash our hands or anything like that. The bathroom had dry urine on the floor in front of the toilet. The evening desk clerk did not understand English very well and could not answer any questions we had. Otherwise, it had hot water in the shower immediately and the bed was very comfortable. The room, other than the bathroom, was very clean and nice.

The hotel was ok. It was really not as nice looking as the internet pictures showed. It is a bit more run down. Our bathroom had paper/insulation falling from it the entire time we were there. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying honestly. One morning of our stay the water was turned off for hours and they did not give us any notice. On another day, when there was some extreme weather, the staff didn’t seem to know anything about the weather and when asked about a plan for potential warnings they didn’t know of any. Another guest and I made a plan of our own. Then on our last morning the fire alarm went off in the early morning. Some of us stuck our head out of our rooms. There seemed to be no sense of urgency. After quite a few minutes the alarm stopped. I thought maybe the staff would communicate with us we were ok or something, but I never heard anything. I feel like the lack of knowledge and communication from the staff on some pretty urgent situations was not quite professional. I know I won’t be staying at this particular hotel again.
