Hotel Bethany Beach was lovely! We got vouchers for beach chairs and an umbrella every day, two free tickets for dino mini golf, and a decent breakfast every morning. The location is awesome; just minutes from the beach (you could walk, drive, or take the trolley). The staff were super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel in Bethany. Rooms were very clean. Bed had a mattress cover and seemed well maintained. Lots of comfortable feather pillows on the bed. Room had a modern smart TV in the room, with mini fridge that had a freezer and fridge, and a microwave. There was also a safe. Shower head left some to be desired but bathroom and room size was great. The location was walkable to the beach, boardwalk and plenty of food options. They offer free vouchers to mini golf and the botanical garden, as well as umbrella and chair rentals for the beach, which was a nice perk. There are also bike rentals available. Plenty of parking but the fee is not included in the room fee. Breakfast is decent and filling with sufficient options. Front desk friendly and helpful with things we needed.

Our only gripe is the walls are absolutely paper thin - we could hear the neighbors snore and cough in the two rooms around us.

We really enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

We did not use the pool this time around but it looked clean. Front desk Staff was excellent and we tried the breakfast the morning of check out, was not bad. Room was clean but no cleaners came during our stay.

No maid service daily. It was an additional $25 per day if requested. This was not quoted or explained when booking, There was a $25 per day parking fee. This was never quoted or explained when booking. I will dispute this charge on my credit card that hotel charged.
You had to request new towels daily, as well as toilet paper.
While breakfast was OK, twice in four days we were asked to leave right after finishing eating as there were people waiting for tables.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with EVERYTHING!! The rooms were and hotel were updated and was crisp and clean . The staff was always helpful. They have an arrangement with beach chair and umbrella rental that is convenient. The crab house near there is great and they offer a 10% discount to those who stay at the hotel . Breakfast was really good and had a variety of. And we were able to have our dog with us . I would stay there again and again !

The room were good carpet needs shampoo. No daily cleaning but linen provided when requested. Staff very friendly and respectful. Food was just food not my preference. No waffle maker for fresh waffles. It provided something for people with small kids to save money. The pool was cold despite weather being awesome. No pool or beach towels offered. You get lots of complimentary things like beach tools, food discounts and mini golf. Close to beach and I plan to return.

The hotel staff were vert friendly and helpful. There are so many benefits of staying here to include the breakfast, the 2 free putt-putt passes, 10% off at Mickey's, two free lounge chairs and umbrellas and beverages (water, coffee, tea) throughout the day in the lobby. The rooms were quiet and clean. Very close to the beach and all of the fun!

This is a rare find for one night stay. The hotel is only one block away from the beach, board walk is in walkable distance. And the best thing that I knew after check in that the hotel provides voucher for beach chairs and umbrella for free which is awesome. The breakfast is not excellent but you have something to eat before you heading to the beach. The room is big and spacious. I would recommend it highly for a weekend trip.

I love the fact that the bedrooms are comfortable and clean, the passes to get umbrellas and chairs on the beach was free. The staff was over the top helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good too. They also gave us a discount at the restaurant next-door, which was very casual and very good food. They charge for parking, which was a surprise, but when you get free umbrellas and chairs on the beach, good breakfast and all these other amenities, it makes up for it. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room was fairly clean but in need of a few repairs. The toilet paper holder did not stay on wall. The outlet on one wall did not work. The bedside lamp and usb plugs on the nightstand did not work. The refrigerator, although turned up on high, barely kept drinks at room temperature. I also booked a king size bed but was given two queens. Breakfast was decent enough. Overall stay was just ok.

This hotel is clean, breakfast was good. The pool is nice. The weight room is actually well stocked for a hotel (free weights, slam balls, kettle bells, bench, treadmill, rower+) our only complaint is that you have to pay for parking at the hotel, even as a hotel guest.

The property is well located on the beach, it is far enough away from the boardwalk that the beach area is less packed directly down from the hotel.

It is still close enough to the boardwalk that you can make the walk (15-20 minute brisk walk)

We won’t be coming back. It was a pretty good deal until we were told of the $25 a day parking fee.
It would’ve been possible to walk to Bethany, but they were long blocks along a busy road.
Even when you take your car, it’s four dollars an hour at the meters this is also in Rehoboth. So good luck and bring plenty of money.

The staff was extremely helpful. The amenities such as use of the parking, pool chairs and pool before check-in were excellent. Our room was spacious and very clean. The buffet breakfast, miniature golf and discount at Mickey’s Family Crabhouse were an added bonus. This was our first visit to Bethany Beach, but we will be back and will stay at Hotel Bethany Beach again!

There is a parking fee with booking through Expedia which was I believe $25 a night. The staff was very friendly and it was clean. It had all the amenities we enjoy. The location was good spot with being close to everything. The breakfast was legit with a variety of foods and was fresh. We had a neighbor in the room next to us that was load and had a barking dog. Luckily, it wasn’t until our last night stay and that’s not the hotel’s fault. We would stay again!

We really loved our stay at Hotel Bethany Beach, even during a less-than-beautiful Memorial Day weekend. We loved being able to bring my dog, and unlike many dog-friendly hotels, our room was spotless and you would never have known dogs stay there all the time. No stains or odors...very clean. Never heard any barking either. We particularly loved the complimentary breakfast, and it was one of the better hotel breakfasts we have seen...lots of variety and hot foods! They also keep bringing out food until 10am on the dot - no cleaning things up by 20 minutes before the end, like many hotels do. And no side eye from the staff when we took extra muffins and fruit to go. The hotel staff was all GREAT! Super friendly and helpful with ideas for how to entertains ourselves during cold, rainy days. Although we would have loved daily cleaning of our room, they were generous with giving us clean towels as often as we wanted, and extra trash bags. This place is the best deal at the beach! We'll be back.

Also we somehow were assigned a handicapped accessible room, which would have been perfect for wheelchair accessibility. The shower head was positioned on the side wall facing toward the room and the curtain. When operated water pushed the curtain out and water all over the floor. An awkward position for showering. We had to use several towels on the floor to prevent slipping.

Be aware of all the fees!! There is $30 property fee + $25 parking fee! What the heck? Last week, I stayed at a hotel in NYC and it was $25 parking fee. There is also a humid smell in the room. I was going to give a one-star rating. Now I am giving them 3. The extra 2 stars are earned by the breakfast staff. They were quick to restock the food and clean the tables. They were attentive to guests’ needs. Great work shouldn’t go unnoticed. Kudos to them. Next time I will stay at rehoboth beach area to save myself 55 bucks.

Bed was more comfortable than average hotel beds! Everything was quite nice for a very good price. The walk to the beach is pretty short but I wish there were clear directions somewhere in the lobby.
A set of small things add up to taking off one star: Most things were very clean but the shampoo, conditioner, body wash pumps in the bathroom looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Also, the bathroom fan was just hanging open and it showed a lot of dust up there. The other thing is that even though it was off season and the hotel was definitely not full, they wouldn't give us even 1 extra hour for checkout. I would understand this policy during Summer season but it seemed unnecessarily rigid at this time of year, and made it feel like a lower class place.
We appreciated that the room came with a mini fridge without needing to request it.
I would stay again as long as they continued to offer a competitive rate. For the likely summertime price bumps, I might err on the side of trying a competitor.

Hotel seemed like it was recently renovated. Everything looked in top shape. The room (the most important thing) was very spacious, very clean! Not a fan of the bathtub in the bathroom but the cleanliness of it made up for it. Breakfast was meh, but once again, the food area very clean! Definitely will coming back!!
