It was clean and quiet, and breakfast was not overcrowded at all.
Jana
We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights and our room wasn't cleaned until we asked twice on our last day there. This happened last time we stayed. We will not stay there again.
Lucretia
The staff and gym are great! Super comfortable beds and clean room. Thank you!

It was clean enough I guess. The floors are all laminate and they're popping up and they are very slick when you get out of the shower. The shower is really slick so I had to put a towel down to keep from falling. There is no coffee pot, no microwave, very little refrigerator. No swimming pool, no hot tub. It'd be okay for just a one night stay. But for 5 days, no. I like to be able to get a cup of coffee as soon as I get out of bed. Not have to get dressed and go down and get coffee.
We were on the second floor, and one morning while I was trying to sleep in, there was banging on the side of the hotel. I got up to go to the bathroom cuz it woke me up, opened up the blind, and there's a guy on a lift right outside my window. Luckily I had some clothes on. And there was people in the last night that came in on the 3rd floor that started at 4:00 in the morning sounding like a herd of elephants running back and forth across the room, that lasted about 2 hours. Not running like kids heavy adults.
I went down to the lobby one time and I did not see one person at the desk.
For the price that we paid, I expected a little better accommodations.

The manger is completely unprofessional. We were accused of tampering with smoke detectors which we did not do. There was a fire pit outside that we used every night we were there for a night cap. So there this was clearly a made up story. The manger claimed the fire department came at 10am when we were still in the room during that time. There were also crumbs in the bed maybe indicating the room had not been properly cleaned. The beds were horrible as well as the worn out pillows. The front office clerk Kendra was great and showed a lot of hospitality. Overall I would not return to this property.

Great room & service. Lots of stuff to do around it

Staff was great/friendly, room was clean, and the pool table in the lobby was a great addition that I enjoyed.

I stay at Tru every chance I get, it’s the best!
David
The breakfast was mediocre and I stayed there a couple of years ago and it was excellent. Specifically, the oatmeal wasn't really edible- one giant dry lump there in the pot... made the rest of the presentation so so.
Don

My first experience at a Tru property and it was great. Big shoutout to the front desk staff who checked me in! Very friendly and efficient, exactly what I needed after a long day of travel.
LeAnn
This hotel was quiet and in a good neighborhood. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and the breakfast is what you expect it to be. It is a great value and we would definitely stay here again when we are in Wichita.
Bret
The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but I would have liked a few more options.

First, Patrick was very helpful in getting us checked in quickly and telling us about the hotels amenities. Next, we ordered an accessible room since I’m visually impaired and to our liking the bathroom was wonderful with a step in shower instead of a bathtub and there were plugs that were low enough for wheelchair to reach. Very comfortable and very clean. Patrick checked in, by Text, frequently to make sure everything was going all right, and that was much appreciated. at one point, we returned back to the hotel pretty late at night and there was a guy waiting in the parking lot for someone to try and let him in. We were very glad that the doors were secure and required your key card to get in. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Kevin
The hardest bed I have ever slept in. 50 of us stayed in the same place. All of us were up and down all night. We will find a different location for our meeting next year.
Maria
All was good. Great room for using as a sleeping area. Very satisfied. Thank you

This hotel is nice and clean. The employee that checked us in was very friendly! We appreciate the wall mounted toiletries and the good breakfast. They had many sports teams staying while we where there and the breakfast was very well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The location is awesome!
Robert
Housekeeping only cleaned our room 1 time in 4 days. We had to keep going to the front desk to get clean towels and wash clothes.

Strawberry pancakes were delicious. Will be coming back next week.
Lauren
Fun downstairs area, great clean and very modern bathroom. Sheets could use improvement!
Sal
Very unsafe hotel, and extremely rude employees. I arrived shortly before midnight and Pond departure around 7 AM. My truck was broken into. When I approach the front desk, the lady says things happen often, and that is why the owners of the property do not employ cameras on the exterior to limit their liability. When I asked additional questions, she just put me off like I was some sort of inconvenience to her. Huge fan of Hilton, but stay far away from this junk property.
Rick
This was the first time I had ever stayed at a TRU by Hilton and I was very impressed! Staff was extremely friendly hotel was very very clean and the beds were comfortable. This particular TRU was close to several eating establishments and entertainment venues And we could’ve probably walked to anything that we desired! I will definitely be staying here again!

It was good. I had to cut it short because of weather and was told to contact Hotels.com to get a refund for the one night I had to cancel. How do I do that.
Brian
I loved it I came 3 hours away it was amazing
Jana
We stayed for 4 nights. We stay here several times a year and have always had a great experience. This visit, our room was not cleaned/serviced the entire time. We had a large pile of dirty towels, full trashes and sheets that kept coming off. The last day we had towels handed at the door. I asked if they'd come back and take dirty towels and trash, they said they would. It never happened. We will find somwehere else to stay when we return in 3 weeks. Very disappointed!
Dean
Bed was terrible. First it wasn’t made properly. Second it was worn out or broken. Mattress was hard in spots and too soft in spots.

Front desk helped me out a lot. I brought my dog with me and he set me up on the first floor next to exit so I could walk my dog easily and gave me a late check out so my girlfriend could go shopping. Definitely coming back to this hotel.
Neil
I didn’t eat breakfast

The hotel was in a good location and the staff was super friendly! Parking was good and well lit! Bed was comfy and room spacious! Shower and towels were good! Breakfast was adequate, nothing fancy. Juice was a little watered down. Overall, nice place and would stay again

$500 to sleep on floor & poor management
We booked a room with two queen beds for two nights for a basketball tournament only to check into a room with 1-bed. When we spoke to the front desk, who was very apologetic & while they were sold out he could provide extra blankets & pillows for someone to sleep on floor (which is tile/LVP). He said it was something to do with third party booking, however the morning clerk said it was the general manager that overbooked & changed our room and put us in a 1-bed.Mind you, we chose to stay only because we were 4 hours from home & all hotels were sold out due to the tournament happening. After almost no sleep, I awoke to meet with the manager who was not even on time for her shift. I gave her time to check in & settle so we could discuss. She immediately started interrupting me & telling me yes she changed my booking, that she didn't have to give me two beds, that it was just a reservation. It almost seemed comical to her that I had just spent $508 to sleep on the floor. It took everything not to cry. I work hard for my money & tournament weekends are not cheap. I let her know that Hotels.com would be calling & I hoped that she would do the right thing & return my money. I am supposed to get one night back, they refuse to give the other night, which I still am not ok with. At this point, I just want the Hotel to be aware of the type of person they have running their hotel. I would strongly suggest if someone is looking to book, look elsewhere.
Steve
Nice, new, modern place! Very accommodating staff. Will come back!!!
Carolyn
Great overnight stay!
Jennifer
Great experience
This is a classic Tru hotel. The lobby was noisy due to a large high school volleyball team hanging out there during checkin. The hostess went to great measures to make sure we were on a different floor just to ensure a quiet stay for us. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable.
KELVIN
Staff was wonderful. Room was quiet. Close to food and entertainment.

Linda

We found a ball of not our hair on the underside of the fitted sheet and are hoping it was just leftover from the laundry. Part of wallpaper or wall was loose in the bathroom. Breakfast was mediocre.
Thomas
First time staying at Tru. Really like the setup

Recent stay
Rooms small, paint coming off in the bathroom, breakfast was small.
Ashley
Hotel is in rough shape. Clearly not built well nor has it sustained use well. Perhaps the most disturbing thing though was that of the two beds in our room, one had clearly been made to show as clean, but upon pulling back the duvet and top sheet, the bottom sheet had clearly been slept on... crud from the human being before left behind. Also, the shower head let out the least amount of water I've ever seen. There is no way someone with chin length or longer hair could actually wash their hair in that shower. I will not stay here again.
Lori
Pleasant place to stay will be back

Paid in full on hotels.com, once to the hotel I was charged again.. called the following day and the lady said it was a mistake and refunded me, told me she emailed me a receipt never received it. Called again the next day and was told they refunded me even though my bank clearly shows the charge from hotels.com and the charge from the hotel itself. She sent me a receipt that shows two charges on it and one refund. So I still paid twice with no refund!!!
Wendy
The hotel was great. Staff was nice. The issue I had was with hotels.com.....I reserved rooms for 3 people; 2 checked in with no problem but my reservation was cancelled for no explained reason so i had to book another one and pay more for my stay.
Jana
We stayed for several days. The room was supposed to be cleaned every other day but we had to ask that our room be cleaned after 3 days of waiting. Trash was left for 3 days, dirty towels, sheets. We asked on 2nd day, they said it would be cleaned. 3rd day we had to ask again. No sense of someone in charge. Just sticky nots with our room number. Very disappointed!

The lady at the front desk walked off as we came to the counter shortly after 10
