* The front desk clerk shouldn’t worry about feeding the stray cats outside and pay more attention to the guests. When we arrived she was outside trying to feed them. Our keys that she gave us for our room wouldn’t work so we went back to the front desk and had to wait again because she was outside trying to feed the cats again.

The room was described to me at the front desk as newly renovated. However, upon entering, I noticed it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and lingering drying paint fumes. The smell suggested the renovation was not recent, likely completed more than 6 months ago. The shower featured two glass sliding doors; the main door used to enter and exit required two hands to operate and was difficult to slide smoothly even then. The secondary door, located near the toilet, kept sliding open unexpectedly, causing water to spill onto the bathroom floor. The breakfast offered was minimal and barely satisfactory. Considering the overall experience and the value for the price, I recommend choosing another location for better quality accommodation.

My mom had to book a room for me while I was driving for 9hrs over the weekend. She called to pay in advance for my dog, and the couple of times she tried doing so, the man on the phone would hang up on her after he asked if she was calling to book a room (the room was already booked, so she said no). She ended up calling Orbitz and they were more helpful. Called the hotel for a final time and the man finally stayed on the line. We’ve never had issues like this before. The hotel itself was outdated, same with the rooms, so all that hassle wasn’t even worth it and I feel terrible that my mom had to call multiple times just to pay.

Terrible service. Booked and paid for room through hotels.com. When checking in was told there's additional fees that need to be paid for. Management took care of that. Walking to the room carpet had multiple wrinkles with no padding under carpet. Bathroom door needs work as it barely closes. Multiple electrical outlets in the room didn't work. Indoor swimming pool had heater running in middle of summer, water temp was 91 degrees felt disgusting. Looking out the back door of the pool area over grown weeds had taken over. Beds were not comfortable and pillows lacked support. Continental breakfast was terrible, sausage was burnt. Upon checking out they stated that even more money was due

Not what I expected from a Hilton subsidiary. The pool was closed. Construction was going on on the top floors. The back side of the hotel has windows, but you can't see out of them. The bathroom was dirty. Info said great hotel in Wichita with a great hot breakfast; well, my oatmeal was cold, if that tells you anything. As we drove up, I should have known better, but I was willing to give it a chance. The night clerk was very nice and helpful; however, the other staff never spoke and looked the other way as if we shouldn't ask them for anything. I was not satisfied with this stay. To add insult to injury, they have attempted to bill my card three times.

We chose this hotel primarily because of the pool, but unfortunately, it was under construction during our stay. It would have been helpful to know this in advance when booking. Additionally, we were disappointed to find hair from previous guests on the bathroom floor and shower walls, and the corners of the bathroom floor had visible stains/or not cleaned. The carpet seemed a bit outdated as well.

Great hotel 10 plus
Upon checking in I asked the manager where could I buy gas near by. He said Costco across the street was the cheapest but I told him I’m not a Cos member. He said no problem he loan me his. I sure did appreciate that act of kindest. I will always stay at this property when coming though here.

1 star is too much. Terrible place!
Pool was under construction. The whole hotel was in poor shape. Wall paper coming off the walls in every room we seen. Pillows felt like they were filled with gravel. Tub was stained yellow. Carpets had severe stains. We slept for maybe 45 minutes the whole night. The window had plastic wrap on the outside that was coming off so it whipped in the wind all night. Staff called me an hour before my check in time and told me they didn’t have the room I paid for and that we were being transferred to a single bed. Needing 2 beds I told them that was unacceptable. They said never mind and hung up on me. 0/10 don’t stay here.

We selected this hotel primarily for the kids to swim in the pool. Everything else was fine. In the future, please make it more evident that the hotel is under renovations and certain amenities are not available.

Tired but clean property
This is an older hotel and seems quite "tired" and in need of an update. However, it was very clean and the smaller room had comfortable beds. Breakfast has the usual fare, but the oatmeal was so thick it had to be watered down by the manager and it was then glopped in the bottom of the label. I suspect it was leftover from the previous day. The brown sugar was hard and had to be scraped out of the container.

The hotel is/was under construction on a couple of the floors. Never the less, the room I stayed in was nice and clean.
Service staff deserves a 5 Star. Very courteous and helpful. Very large variety of breakfast items was a nice accomodation. I will stay here next time I am in Wichitas.
