Check in had no issues. Food at the eggslut was amazing. Only real issues were the toilet had issues like barely flushed and moved a lot. Casino was great. And the room was clean.

You have to pay the resorts fee even youre not gonna use it.Theres always long line in the front desk.we requested extra blankets by phone and housekeeping but nothing came.

The stay was pleasant and room was very spacious. Only downside was that when we walked into the room the toilet was not cleaned and there were stains as if it was used. Luckily a cleaning staff was near by and cleaned it and also apologized for the inconvenience. The auto mated system is not the fastest or one can rely on to get things done if there’s an issue. Finding someone will be faster. We stayed for 4 days and three nights, the hallways were dirty and needed a vacuum to pick up the mess that lazy guest can’t do. Nice hotel and spacious room.

This place just can’t get it together. First off let me say that they’re automated assistance Rita is an absolute nightmare. This place used to be known for having the best buffet and all of Vegas now their food sucks and the choices for food are ridiculous. The food court is a waste of space. Played multiple machines and didn’t win a single penny. Upon checkout this morning after calling every 30 minutes for a Bellman starting at 5 AM by 7:30 AM I began making trips back-and-forth to my car to load my own bags. I was then advised the Bellman called off sick and they didn’t have anybody. Rio taxed me for the resort fee then taxed me a separate fee for using their pool on top of the resort fee. You know this Hotel is like someone putting lipstick on a pig. They just can’t get it together. Horrible horrible experience this trip. They need to get rid of that Rita lady answering the phone. She’s absolutely useless. The simple fact that they don’t have a single life person to take a phone call will keep me from ever returning. It’s ridiculous.

The A/C was out , not just our room but the hotel. my wife has hot flashes so she was VERY uncomfortable. AI takes there call for any type of room service so I had to go all the way down from the 19th floor just to let the front desk know what was going on. The elevator didn’t work coming from the garage to the hotel so we had to go up four flights of stairs with our luggage, this experience was the worse time I’ve ever had in Vegas.

Stayed in an 'renovated high floor'. I guess it's fine. Don't look too closely at the 'renovations'. Leaky shower head, old fixtures, poor lighting. A/C could not keep up with the summer Vegas heat at all unfortunately. Lumpy pillows. Though the bed itself felt alright. It's fine I guess. Pool is a miss - too many people to really enjoy it. Elevators were slow and always packed like a Tokyo subway. But i guess if you can get a good deal, it's fine. Just don't expect too much.

Remodeled room was spacious but questionable design choices. The lighting is very dim. The shower floor is extremely slippery. There's no shower door, and there's a rectangular cutout of the glass near the shower faucet. Why? I do not know. But there was a water stain at the floor near that cutout from where all the water splashes out.

Half the elevators were not operational. The button to call the elevators were not working on the ground floor. There are signs saying to use the kiosks for fast check-in. When I tried to use the kiosk, it would not work stating that my reservation was not for that day. I had to wait in a long line and check in at the counter where there was no problem. I had two rooms, and I asked for them to be near each other. Turns out they were on opposite sides of the hotel. At check-out, I tried to use the TV to check out, but that did not work. I had to use the kiosks to check out.

The Rio has free self-parking which is a plus. However, there are very limited spots in the garage, so it can be difficult to find a spot to park at especially when you're looking for a shaded spot in the hot summer.

On the service, it seems like the Rio attempted to get a facelift, but operationally, it is still below par. The only reason I gave this place another chance was that it was cheaper than most similar hotels. If you want a big room at a decent price and don't care about whether things properly work or not, the Rio is not a horrible choice.

We were in the room less than 10 minutes before we noticed the bed bugs coming out the pillows and bed. We alerted staff who had us sit outside for hours without proper accommodation. We communicated with the third party booking site who tried to reach out to hotel to confirm what was going on, and I caught the staff intentionally ignore their calls and wouldn’t make contact. Meanwhile, they continued to book people on the hotel without making them aware there is a problem with bed bugs. Totally mortified. Worst experience. Had to get rid of ALL my belongings I took in there.

Good luck trying to speak a real person if you call. Everything is AI chat. Twenty minutes for an elevator to the top floor. Pools were dirty and no shade. This is just Circus Circus in a nicer dress.

Not a great location but free parking is a plus. We got the updated king room that was nice. There was a broken tile in the bathroom and hot water was an issue for the first day and a half. The room itself was very nice. The couch with the chase was nice as well. Was frustrated with the tv because Google cast didn't work well. Restaurant choices weren't bad. The pool area was nice. 3 of 4 pools were open and the areas were not crowded at all. I would absolutely stay again just for the price and free parking.

Bathroom shower head fixture was broken. Looked like they tried to put tape on it to make the head spray wand stay upright. Shower hot water took 5 minutes to get any temperature. Such a waste of water. But yet the bathroom sink hot water was immediately at temperature. Interior halls to the rooms were very warm. Elevators looked very worn. Some of the floor hallway signs showed severe wear and missing letters. No attention to detail.

Checked in to one of the newly remodeled king suites... very nice but i will say our AC did not get the whole room cold. Mind you we went in June when the temps were in the 105s our room was constantly stuffy and only cool where the AC was. Overall was a nice trip.

My family loved our room! We were traveling with two kids, a 3 year old and an 8.It was very spacious and had lots of storage space. We got a premier suite on the Ipanema tower which came with two queen beds, a soaker tub and shower, and a separate living room with a dining area.
The reason for 4 stars is because we did encounter a few issues and there were some features of the room that we were disappointed by. For starters the ac in the bedroom wasn’t cooling as much as the living room which made it hard to stay cool after coming back from outside. We issued a work request but had to do it through the virtual helper Rita and we never got a resolution. We were never able to reach an actual person because the virtual operator would not allow it. The other issue is the description said the room came with a fridge but the fridge was actually a chiller- not an actual fridge. Which means we couldn’t use it to keep milk in there or it would spoil. There was also no microwave- which it wasn’t advertised so it’s not the hotels fault but it would’ve been convenient to reheat leftovers. We also got locked out of the room and the cleaning ladies directed us to go downstairs which took a while to get help due to the long lines. The last issue had to do with the pool area, we loved the pool but I noticed one of the lifeguards was on his cellphone a lot. It was only one lifeguard we saw doing this. Overall though we did enjoy our stay, our room was awesome, and we would stay here again.

Our AC didn’t work . It was 105 all weekend and the ac was not blowing cool air at all our room was hot and humid. Our shower drain was also clogged up . We called for help , all we could do was try to speak to the automated voice over the phone , the automated voice said someone would be up to our room .no one ever came.

We arrived close to 1 am there was a line of 20+ people waiting to check in only 1 staff member checking people in which was ridiculous!

Once we checked in our floor was had a terrible smell very foul and making me sick, they had a fan in place which was making it worse.

I checked out within hours of being there.

I got a premiere suite with 2 queen beds. It is very spacious. The rooms, hallways, and casino floor was very clean. The staff was friendly. I definitely wasn't expecting the room to be so nice because the price was VERY reasonable for a suite in Las Vegas. The pools were SO nice and clean.

Check in was easy, staff was very friendly, our room was very clean but the refrigerator was broken and that was fixed promptly but we were on the 19th floor and the Air Conditioner barely worked and when I mentioned it to staff they said it was just because it was so hot outside.. it was 108 this weekend. So, I would not recommend staying on a high floor if it's a scorcher outside. Sleeping in that heat was miserable and if I was staying longer I would have switched rooms.

Had a great time. Room was clean but shower have no pressure and can’t adjust the shower head.
Also, pools are not clean at all, people just eat drink in them. Not sure what are the rules and the lifeguards do besides not much but kids run everywhere scream nobody gives a F.. of who is around them in the pool just play ball or splash each other. Regardless of their surroundings. Most of it is bad parenting.
Staff outside for Valet or at front desk don’t seem to be happy to work there at all!
And in my opinion if you are to offer snacks in the room and bottles of water at least make it affordable for everyone, this way you might sell more!! Who is going to pay 75$ for M&M’s and cookies!

I had no air-conditioning in my room the first night I had to move at 1 AM in the morning to another room in which both nights were so loud with the neighbor next-door slamming the door that I got no sleep. It was a very poor experience the only thing that was nice was the room was nice and big.

I made many request to have my television fixed as it did not work for two of the three days that I was there. Every time we called the front desk, I was actually getting an AI attendant named Rita. Rita was not able to remember my multiple request and it was so very frustrating after making several complaints and asking for a remedy. I went to the front lobby and the front desk person told me to just wait.It's been over two weeks since my stay and I still have not been contacted (as Rita told me) there has been no human interaction. Zero follow up or communication from Rio Rita.

Check in staff was rude and unhelpful after my four hour drive and when I asked for what I paid for high floor strip view the best they can do was 12th floor out of 20 and when I asked to get a higher view they downgrade me for the same price an older building with a higher floor when I looked online the price for stay there was significantly lower! 7$ a night and I paid renovated price I was back and forth three times and staff made me feel bad for asking for what I paid for.
