Terrible experience. The hotel was old, unsanitary, and smelled bad. Easily the worst place I’ve stayed in the U.S. I would not recommend it. Pictures shown on website are way different than reality!!!

My rooms phone nor TV worked. Getting hold of the front desk was like pulling teeth with your bare hands. No answer. After 40 mins I went down to explain my issues. They moved me to a different room, which I agreed to. When I got into the room I found again that the phone did not work. They do not provide shampoo. I did receive a small bar of soap to wash with. 1 bar. I stayed in a motel eight. Paid $30. Less and had shampoo and better service. No coffee in the room. And could not find an ice machine (there wasn't a bucket in the room so that should have been a hint) the 3 level had a leaky roof and the 1st level had such a horrible stench that there is absolutely no way that the front office couldn't smell it.

Tenía mi reservación llegué al momento de entrar al edificio ya había mal olor hice check in al momento de entrar en la habitación seguía el mal olor,el baño tenía cabellos y precia que solo habían tendido la cama y no habían hecho el aseo no estaba el piso limpio y había un insecto en la estufa!
De inmediato hablé con el servicio al cliente de la aplicación donde hice la reserva y me hicieron la cancelación de inmediato y salí del lugar!!

Hotel is close to the NMSU campus which is why we stayed there. However there was not a front desk attendant available at anytime without calling for someone. There was no check out service. I had to call to turn in keys and there was no reciept. Apparently their front desk doesn’t open til 9 am. Lots of strange people lurching around the front of the property and just creepy vibes in general. Does not serve breakfast or have coffee. If looking for a quick cheap place it’s okay.

This property needs complete refurbishing. It is not like I remember Extended Stay properties to be. The bed was comfortable enough but was a metal bed frame, maybe fold-up? The bathroom faucets are grimy and stained. No breakfast. Time-consuming internet access.

This location is good for the price and a few days stay. However, I would not recommend and here’s why: The elevator is broken, 2/3 of our room lights did not work, fire alarm was holding on by a wire, and the front desk staff were not readily available for check-in/check-out.

The staff was nice and it was an easy check in. Once you walk into the front door the place has a bad smell of cigarette smoke and sometimes fishy. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke and so did our room even though it was a non smoking room. The room was clean and didn’t have any stains.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Do not stay here. As I arrived to check in, the person at the counter answered her personal cell phone and kept me waiting. The \"lobby\" is more like a vestibule. It is very small and her kids were running around the customers.
Waiting for the elevator, I noticed the walls were dirty and stained, inside the elevator as well. Upon arriving to my room, I noticed the sheets were dirty. I booked another hotel and checked out of this one. I was told I would get a refund in 7-10 business days. That came and went. I followed up several times and got the run around. I finally had to call the 800 number to get my refund.

Water is never hot (cold showers)

I showed up to check in and was met with a hand drawn sign that stated “Sold Out”. Thinking that I had a reservation and all I had to do was check in, I was sorely wrong. I called the front desk phone as there was no one at the front desk and was told that there was no vacancies. I stated that I was already reserved and just needed to check. I was told tough luck and I literally told “you can yell or scream about this, it makes no difference”. So I walked away with no room. Come to find out I was charged after being told that I wouldn’t be charged. I called hotel.com customer service where I was told that I wouldn’t be charged and the representative told me that they were indeed rude. Confirming my entire experience.

This property was overbooked and after we paid in full and we’re forced at midnight to find other accommodations now we are being refused a refund!

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Place was dirty, cockroaches in both rooms I purchased, dirty towels and dirty bedding. To top it off, no working TV. I would never recommend anyone to stay there and if I was a part of Hotels.com, take it off your inventory.

My stay was awful, very loud people screaming and yelling. Staff seems not present AT ALL and would not help. A lot of homeless hanging around the parking lot, building fires. Not an ideal stay for the price I paid. Motel 6 would have been better.

This is NOT a hotel! It’s an apartment building! DO NOT STAY HERE!!
Let’s start at check-in. We arrived very late, at 2:08 a.m., only to find they stopped checking people in at 2:00 a.m. so they cancelled our room! Having no options, I had to pay the hotel for the same room I already paid for through Expedia! Then we get in our room and being dead tired, pulled the covers back to find hairs, lots of them, in our “clean” sheets! The next morning I got up to shower and found no wash clothes and only 2 towels! No soap to wash my hands, no shampoo or body soap, nothing. I went down to the front desk to ask for 4 wash clothes and 2 extra towels (it was my wife and I and 2 boys in the room), and was told the “company policy” was only 2 wash clothes per room!! I said, but sir there’s 4 of us in the room. He said, “ it’s policy” and proceed to give me two wash cloths!!
The “hotel” had no iron or ironing board. No blow dryer. NOTHING! No amenities at all!
Do yourself a favor, spend the extra $25 and stay at a hotel, not this apartment building. BTW, I talked to a tenant who had been living there for 7 years!! Sounds like an apartment and not a hotel.

This hotel was pretty clean, it had also just been remodeled, which was nice.There was a lot of parking but not much by the front desk and door you have to enter to go to the rooms. Which makes it hard if you have children or have to go back to your vehicle for luggage. Checking in after hours was simple compared to most hotels, and they were nice and helpful. Also, house keeping knocked and tried to open our room at 10:05 am which was almost an hour before check out. We really enjoyed our stay till this happened, they woke my husband and baby up and neither was happy about it. Over all the hotel was nice and would probably stay again, but the day time staff needs more training.

Very dirty and very very loud. It sounded like contrition was going on everywhere I went and I did not feel safe with people fighting in the halls. When I went to go check out there was no body at the front seat to check me out I wait there for 30 minutes and no one was in sight. Over all bad hotel. I ended up going to a different hotel because of everything I listed above. If you know what the Cecil hotel is that’s a perfect decision I can give for this hotel.

You get what you pay for

It was very dirty and grimey. I cleaned the bathroom (counter, shower/tub and toilet), kicthen and all surfaces with products from the dollar tree down the street. There wasn't anything I could do about the floors. The bedsheets were stained as well as the towels, which smelled like cigarettes. It was nice having a fridge and microwave but I didnt use the cooktop. The heater worked great and after I got another blanket and pillow I could sleep decently though the plastic sheet on the bed crinkles terribly. However, for the price you pay it is obviously going to be the bare minimum. The people were nice and I loved meeting all the dogs.

Make sure you have necessities in your room!

After we checked in, which the check-in process was super easy, but after awhile, in our room, I realized we did not have towels, nor did we have soap. I checked with my family in the other room I booked and they had towels, but no soap & NO shower curtain. (Not sure how that was missed by housekeeping!) I went to the office, but it was after hours, so I called guest services and notified them of that. It didn't really take them long to bring me the missing items, but it is more about the inconvenience.

This hotel is really set up for weekly rates. The rooms are very run down. My room wreaked of cigarette smoke. The beds are mattresses on metal platforms. There was no hot water in the shower. I had to give myself a sponge bath. There is no lobby and not even coffee in the morning. The front desk had no one there 90% of the time. I stayed for three days. It was so bad I considered eating the cost of the room and moving to a different hotel.

Our stay was very comfortable staff friendly the room was spaciouse.I would like to recommend that the rooms where pets carpets be shampooed and the air filter on ac be kleaned thoraly just to keep the small of pets replenished the only reason I would request such a mesure is I do own cats I've had 5 at one time and no one even knew I even owned one my room smelt like dog and I couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from but I did and thats why I say the carpeting be shampooed regularly and vents kleaned thoroughly I managed to get my room to smell wounderful thanks to my sent sensation wax berner but other than that the stay was wonderful.

Carpet in the room was not vacuumed. There was a strong smell of something that was recently cleaned up. The scent of whatever was used to clean up was overpowering. Bathroom lacked hand towels, washcloths. I asked a washcloth and was told “they were in the dryer.” No offer to bring one to me. Bathroom was not completely cleaned. There was a used towel hanging on the bathroom door.

Got there and it took like 15 minutes before someone came up to check me in. I had to sign a lot of paperwork it was like signing my rights away. Then I got into my room and the ac unit was not working it was extremely hot. I dropped down the temperature in hopes it will get cooler. gave it like an hour and nothing. When I went down to the lobby to ask if I could switch rooms the man said he had no more rooms available that the best he could do is just give me my money back. I said ok I got my stuff and booked somewhere else. They just told me to wait a couple of days to get refunded.

I liked the security measures set in place and i liked the location. But I had to buy scentsy for my room because the dloor smelled like urine, im guessing from previous guests who had pets. By the end of my stay it was very strong.

While the outside was clean, the entry way, hallway, elevator and room were Not clean. The hallway was smelly, like greasy food. There was trash & food particles on the elevator floor. There was no TV or phone in the room. The Staff was indifferent to our inquiries, so we packed up and left. I would Not recommend this hotel.

Service was excellent, they responded to my concerns immediately but could not take care of them at that time. The window blind was broken so you could see through it and the tv was broken so I could not watch weather for work the next day. Just a heads up, If you stay here check everything in room and report it so they can’t say you broke it. Other than that the room was clean and quiet

I booked 2 rooms non-smoking when we check in at 9 pm 3/16 -3/23 a week stayed the front desk told us they don't have any non smoking room because we book through Expedia.com . Only have 2 smoking rooms available. We can cancelled or go somewhere else. We didn't have any choice because it was getting late. We occupied room 411 & 419. Sad to say room 419 drawer next to the bed have 6 cigarette lighters with many needles very obvious previous occupations smoke drugs in the room, Also, underneath the 2 beds empty Pepsi bottles, fire alarm was covered with plastic that was disgusting and hazzard !! We show that to the General Manager Amanda Keith she said we have to let Expedia know about it. This hotel have many permanent residents some stay more than 10 years according to the the GM. This hotel treat Expedia guests like 3rd class citizen. I asked to exchange new towels GM said if you booked trough Expedia we have to charge for $1.75. I have never come across this kind of treatment over the years I travel l around the country.
