Breakfast is busy as so many people but there are several breakfast areas and it is very well managed. Plenty of choice
Bowling alley, games room etc all good.
Restuarant food good, but limited menu.
Superior Room very good, big and with big bathroom and nice shower. Room very modern. We transferred from a standard room in the old wing which was small, dated, and opressive - surprised that NH has rooms of such poor quality.
Location is good for Amsterdam by car and perfect for Keukenhof and the bulb region. Nothing close by that is walkable but bike rental available
Suggest drive 10 mins to Noordwick beach (a long beach) where there are plenty of restuarants and a town centre for shops etc)

Fantastic hotel, very modern and clean.
Location was perfect for us visiting Keukenhof and the surrounding areas.
There is an added bonus of tulip fields a 2 minute walk from the hotel! (See photos)
We had an evening meal here our first night which was very nice.
There’s plenty of parking available.
All staff were friendly.

The hotel is huge and has very nice staff.
We had to wait for nearly 3 hours to be checked in as the room 'wasn't ready' and we didn’t even try to check in early. We were given some coffee and drinks vouchers as an appology but we were so tired we didn’t use them
The room was clean but very cold. The heater control had a mind of it's own and worked sporadically.
Swimming pool water was also a bit cold

If you don’t want your room cleaned everyday you can hang a notice on the door. You get 2 vouchers each night you do this for a free drink.
Hotel ideal for cyclist. Only 10min cycle ride to beach. Lots of cycle parking, locked area for e-bikes with charging points and lots of bikes for hire.

Road to the hotel was closed for construction meaning we had to take a very narrow lane blocked by camper trailer/vans trying to enter the local camping facility.

The property was close to a field of tulips which was great for sunrise photos. Hotel location is sort of “off the beaten path”. It seems like a lot of tour buses stayed here, so we were lucky to get squeezed into the restaurant as most of it was reserved for those individuals on tours. Enjoyed our stay but definitely wouldn’t walk around without shower shoes.

Rooms comfortable and spacious. Facilities good.

Breakfast excellent. If you're there more more than a couple of nights you will probably want to eat out, because the options are limited at the restaurant. There is a great choice of eateries in nearby Nordwijk.

Great location vs hard beds

Great location, nice rooms, but the beds were much too hard. There were so many people that you had to wait in line to check in, like an airport baggage drop, and you needed a reservation just to eat dinner without going out. But everyone I dealt with was super nice and friendly. If only because of the comfort and being able to sleep properly, I'd look somewhere else.

Clearly geared to conferences, underwhelming rooms

Everything about the hotel is designed around the fact they don't really care much if you enjoy your stay, and it shows. The hotel is a massive facility that is built to accommodate large crowds during tulip season, and business conferences year round.

But if you're just a traveler staying a few nights, neither the facility nor the staff are very welcoming. The rooms are tired and do not look like the advertising photos. They're not dirty, but they are worn. Very sterile and blank with no decoration.

It's clear more money was put into renovating common areas (restaurant, fitness areas) than in the rooms. Again, they want to attract events and aren't interested in the quality of your stay.

The 24/7 market in the lobby is a positive, parking is easy, and there's a lot to do in the building - it's probably great for a family on a weekend trip to the beach.

But don't expect a warm and comfortable stay.

We went for fall holiday and there were many activities: swimming, bowling, sauna. I loved the wooded path around the back of the hotel for my small dog to walk on. The restaurant food was great. Bart and Lesley were very helpful and professional staff members. Also Lisa who works in reception. We would return!

Should of read the small print !! NO air/con so so hot didn't expect that from a NH chain of hotel, bedroom doors constantly banging in the mornings and late at night, got supplied with a small fan but still very hot in the bedroom.On a good note the restaurant food was good and the free parking a bonus, bike rental on site and staff were lovely

Awful service at NH Noordwijk Conference Centre

We had an awful experience at NH Noordwijk Conference Centre Leeuwenhorst, when purchased in the high season and overly expensive new deluxe room we booked was given away and we ended up staying 3 nights in a ferry cabin looking room with outdated interior, three single beds and non working A/C. This all despite taking time and notifying the hotel both by email and by phone about our late time of arrival and being assured the room we booked will be kept for us. Hotel manager Mark's attitude was the worst part of it - unable to give us the room we booked he offered a partial refund to which we agreed, not having any better option. Mark told he will inform the reception about the partial refund. At the check-out reception knew nothing about it. Mark appeared and the agreed sum magically decreased by 50% from what he initially told the refund would be. After 20 minutes of unproductive conversation we left, not willing to waste more time. Of course no refund of any kind followed. Utterly bad experience and shockingly unprofessional management. Amazingly beautiful country though, just choose another hotel.

I booked the hotel in the last minute on order to stay one more day on my road trip through Netherlands. I was gladly surprise by the hotel, staff and service. Additionally, there are some infinite flower fields to appreciate just in front of the hotel, which were a major plus for someone that loves photography like me. The restaurant was really good. The food was delicious and portions really adequate. Staff at the restaurant was also really outstanding. Mainly Sana that served us really warmly and outstandingly. I highly recommend and definitely I will come back.

Great location for Keukenhof, HORRIBLE smoke smell

We went to this hotel so we could visit Kenukenhof and the location was great for this purpose. We enjoyed the very nearby tulip and daffodil fields. Also, the pool was a major highlight for my kids and it actually seemed quite clean which was great!

Now for the negative: when we checked into our room (I believe it was room 4318) we immediately noticed a very strong cigarette smoke smell. I immediately called the reception and they informed us that it was a smoke free hotel. Someone (or many people) definitely smoked in our room and the smell was overwhelming. Our sheets and pillows had a very strong smoke smell. They did not have any available rooms so they gave our room a \"refresh\" which was a very temporary \"fix\" and by the time we were going to sleep, the smoke smell was as strong as ever. My husband asked for a breakfast voucher to help accommodate us, and they did deliver that which was nice, but by morning we were so ready to get out of there that we didn't stay around for breakfast. Also, I ran a bath for my kids and the water that filled the tub had a strong smokey smell to it. It was awful.

The restaurant only offers a breakfast buffet but you can't get anything ala carte. Also no refrigerators available for medicine but they did offer to keep it for us in their kitchen ... of course I don't know anyone who would leave their medication in a hotel refrigerator. There's a beautiful Tulip field across from the parking lot, and bar staff very friendly an helpful giving us ice for our room.

Perfect for our purpose

We chose this hotel for a planned visit to Keukenhof. Free parking and a short drive to the coast. Staff were friendly and helpful most especially the nice lady who served us coffee in the cafe on the morning of our arrival on the 20th April. I didn't get her name but she is lovely, experienced and efficient. She was also stationed at the outside bar near the car park in the afternoon. We didn't realise the flower fields next to the hotel was in full bloom so this is an added bonus. Short drive to the coast and approx. 20 mins. easy drive to Keukenhof. I won't hesitate to stay here again during spring or summer, however, won't be much to see in the surrounding fields during winter.

Too big of a hotel lacked personal touch.

Unreasonable pool and gym hours (was closed while the sun was still shining outside!) Nightime front desk staff infantalizing us with illogical explanations about the location of the thermostat on the wall of the room (the room has a radiator with its faucet as the temp regulator!). The shower grout in room 1208 with nasty black moss growing all over it. The room window opens fully with no screen or protection. the carpet full of nasty patches. Asked for a double bed and we got two twin beds pushed close to each other but far enough to wedge a hand and a leg in the gap. last bit not least it was quite a trip to get to our room, similar to walking from terminal 7 to terminal 8 at Kennedy airport!

Let down by staff
Cleaners left our room door open after cleaning room as left latch on so when we returned found our room open and had been that way for a good few hours.
Then on leaving got billed twice even after I specifically was told by reception staff I hadn't!!

When we checked in we were given a room in the 6000 section. We got off the elevator and could smell something musty. We then opened the door to our room and were immediately hit with the smell of mold and mildew. My husband has severe allergies and I have an incurable lung disease. We immediately back to the front desk. It seemed to take quite a while but they finally gave us another room. However, the damage was done and we both felt ill most of the night. We recommend avoiding all rooms in the 6000 section.

The hotel is average, the 4 stars are not so well deserved, maybe 10 years ago but definitely not now. Although the price is very competitive and breakfast is amazing the rooms are a bit old-fashioned and the cleaning is not so good. I found cleaning products R2 on the washbasin that someone forgot there. The key of my room worked poorly. I had to go 3 times to reception and still the key never worked. I had to call maintenance so that they could open my room. For a short stay is fine overall but to achieve the 4 stars there is a way to go.

Nice place to stay at, clean and quiet, nice pool and hot tub, outside sitting area and bike rental on site. We arrived after the tulips had finished blooming so the conference centre was not busy at all. Beach is a 12 minute bike ride, and there is a casino/bowling/buffet restaurant next door. Have your breakfast in the conference centre-not much is open early. Breakfast is well worth the price!

As a small group of 2 couples, we found the hotel and all the staff friendly, helpful and with very good English. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the Arista restaurant was excellent. Parking was convenient and the main road was easily accessible for travelling around. Altogether a very enjoyable visit.

Good Hotel to see Keukenhof

I liked the hotel and would stay there again. I booked this hotel because it was reasonably close to Keukenhof Gardens. Its name says it is a conference center so there were a lot of business people there. The hotel is a bit remote so there was little to do in the area. Dining choices outside of the hotel were also limited. Unless you are with a group a car would be useful to get around and to get to other areas for sightseeing. Food and service at the hotel were excellent.

Hard to find hotels in Europe that actually have free parking. The front desk was very helpful. Near the beach and not to far from Keukenhof either. Still have to drive but its a beautiful scenery to take in.

Hotel fine but watch your mini bar keep a note if you use any, we had discrepancies in both rooms! Hotel large and on the whole good.Hotel had a shop and the man who ran it was extremely helpful, on any subject. Read carefully any parking instructions on parking ticket machines, and remember the time difference!

Convenient for Keukenhof

Standard rooms are small and not very soundproof. The hotel is right next to bulb fields and is very convenient for the Keukenhof.

Peaceful Dutch Gem

Excellent facilities and value for money. At least half the cost of hotels in Amsterdam and around Schiphol. Quality meals, high standard breakfasts, are of a high standard. Peaceful location, ideal base if you have a car, around 45 mins from Amsterdam and 30 mins from Schiphol airport, which is a convenient rail hub for the whole country and beyond. Bus connections are 3 mins away with connections to The Hague, Schiphol, the Keukenhof bulb fields and rail connections to Haarlem, Leiden and Schiphol.
