Yes, the room was very large in size and very clean lovely environment

Would not recommend. \"non-smoking\" property had ashtrays on every deck. No air-conditioning. Had to open deck door to get fresh air, which wasn't fresh as guests smoking on decks. Disgusting. Room was small and cramped, and hallways had unpleasant odor. Staff entered our room while Do Not Disturb sign was on door. Double room was 2 twin beds pushed together. Kept getting wedged between beds. Very disappointed.

This is one of my favorite hotels in all the world. Breakfast and dinner are outstanding. The ambience is lovely. The people are so nice. If you're looking for huge and glitzy this may not be for you. This is more like going home to visit your sweet family.

We had excellent service by the front desk personnel and from our waiter, Amor, during our stay. The dining room presents well and the meals were excellent. The room in which we stayed showed many signs of wear over the years, and is in need of some renovation or even cosmetic attention. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well each night. The ability to rent e-bikes from the hotel was a big plus which we took advantage of, so that we could tour through the dunes and along the blooming tulip fields. Be sure to check out the binder with numerous bike routes that you can take if you choose to stay at this hotel.

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, breakfast was very good, but the room was a problem. To control the heat you had to get down on your knees, locate the radiator knob through a hole and try to guess how much of a turn would reach comfort. Multiple guesses required. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and had swordfish. It came nearly raw. I sent it back--still not cooked and by now the sides were cold. The bill included the dish I could not eat, but the manager removed it when I objected.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, da dieses wunderschöne Hotel sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist und dringend renoviert werden müsste. Die Fenster waren sehr schmutzig, der Verputz bröckelte an vielen Stellen. Unser Badfenster war so kaputt, dass man es weder öffnen noch richtig schließen konnte.Unser Türschliss war bereits am ersten Tag defekt, aber uns wurde versucht einzureden, es sei in Ordnung. Niemand war verantwortlich , das Schloss zu reparieren. Schließlich kam der Koch aus der Küche und reparierte es am dritten Tag!

Prettige aankomst in kerstsferen. Wij hebben hier een overnachting geboekt ivm een avondje uit naar soldaat van oranje. Receptioniste dacht mee ivm diner in het restaurant. We konden wat kleins eten ivm de tijd. Erg fijn. De overnachting was prima maar de staat van de hotelkamers is totaal anders dan wat de binnenkomst en restaurant uitstralen. Het is echt heel ouderwets, alsof we teruggingen in grootmoeders tijd. We hebben de spullen neergezet en moesten al dineren en wegrijden.
De hotelkamers bestaan uit ouderwetse houten deuren, aluminium kastdeuren.
Helaas bij terugkomst en het dichttrekken van de gordijnen zagen wij schimmel op het kozijn en vlekken in de vensterbank.
Nachtkastje zat onder de vlekken van drinken van de vorige hotelgasten. Op de voet van de staande lamp zaten allemaal vlekken. Er was gewoon niet schoongemaakt.
Haren op het kussen en dekbed. Geen idee of dit zo uit de was kwam of gebeurd is met het opmaken. Het kussen en dekbed rook niet echt fris… aangezien wij 00:15 pas terug van de voorstelling en aangezien ook mijn dochter (11) erg moe was, hebben we dit voor lief genomen en ben ik niet meer naar buiten gelopen om naar de receptie te gaan. (We moesten via een buitentuin naar een ander gebouw). Maar eigenlijk kan dit echt niet! Vooral niet omdat er een kaart op het bed lag met de tekst dat “vandaag” de kamer is schoongemaakt door een medewerkster (geen naam er bij). 240 euro betaald voor twee kamers incl ontbijt. Dan mag het wel schoon zijn.

Een heerlijke plek op prima wandelafstand naar de zee. Daarbij is het personeel erg vriendelijk. Na een wandeling een heerlijk bakje snert gaat er in de winter wel in. Mijn kamer was ruim, erg prettig. Jammer echter dat er geen lamp boven het bureau zat. Die had ik met mijn puzzels/tekeningen graag gehad. En een luie fauteuil had ook best gepast. Ach ja je moet iets te wensen houden. Het douchen in bad vind ik een echte min. Dan liever alleen een douche. Heerlijk bed prima service verder dus al.met al een fijne ervaring.

Het hotel is prachtig aangelegd. Het fietsenverhuur is een supergoede toevoeging aangezien je zo vanuit het hotel de duinen inloopt. De kamer viel een beetje tegen, hij was oud en klein, maar wel gewoon schoon en netjes, wat respectabel is gezien de lage prijs :). Ontbijt was helemaal prima, niet super uitgebreid, maar wel lekker en alles wat je nodig hebt voor een 'luxe' ontbijtje. Helemaal tevreden!

Der Hotelempfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und machte einen sehr guten Eindruck, wie auch Bar/Restaurant im Erdgeschoß. Die Zimmer (144 und 145 im 2. OG) waren für uns nicht 4 Sterne, da diese einerseits fleckige Teppichböden, schmutzige Heizungen und auch vom Komfort bei Weitem nicht einem 4 Sterne-Komfort entsprachen. Streben an Stuhlbeinen waren mit Staub bedeckt, der Wasserdruck beim Duschen war sehr schwach und in Zimmer 144 war ein Duschaufsatz auf einer Badewanne der das Bad beim Duschen unter Wasser setzte. Die Betten waren aus den 70er-80er-Jahren und sehr austauschenswert. Das Zimmer war auch nicht klimatisiert und im Hochsommer entsprechend sehr stickig warm. Die Sockelleisten waren auch nicht sauber und bei Zimmer 144 war das Verriegeln der Tür von innen nicht möglich, da der Knopf dabei abgefallen ist und nicht hielt. Wir waren insgesamt bei dem Hotel sehr enttäuscht, da der Preis etwas ganz anderes erwarten ließ. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend, aber auch nicht ganz günstig!

De kamers zijn ruim, onze kamer had ook een zitje buiten. Het is mogelijk om in ongeveer 15 minuten naar het strand te lopen. Het centrum van Noordwijk is nabij, ongeveer 3 kilometer.
De tuin mag achter iets opgeknapt worden, haal de hoge hagen weg en plaats wat struiken in het gras, bijvoorbeeld vlinderstruiken. Geweldige locatie! De kwaliteit van het eten in het restaurant is goed.

We have been in a couple of Fletcher Hotels in the last two years, some with great service and high quality, some with less but always more or less in line with the price for the individual arrangement. We did choose this one as it was quiet and not in the center. For 200€ a night - and I am in a lot of hotels due to business - I would have expected a top 4star location. To add, the 5star premium location in the center would only have been only 50€ additional per night.
Unfortunately not this time. Rooms were small and at least partly quite old, the shielding for the bath tub has needed a replacement for some time, the door to the veranda had no security elements and the cussions for the outside chairs could be found in the flowers nearby - at least one, and the hotel surroundings have been neglected as well.
Breakfast was at 17€ per person and day but both orange juice and pancakes where not refilled more than an hour before end of breakfast time, Not to mention that no staff was on the premises.

Altmodisches Hotel, in dem die Wartung nachlässig ist. Rostige Heizung, bröckelnde Gartenfliesen, im Restaurant fehlende Gardinen, sodass man dreckige Wände sieht, Spinnweben an der Decke und so weiter. Das Zimmer ist sauber, aber das Bett ist alt und wackelig. Kurzum: Das Geld für die Wartung scheint nicht da zu sein. Wir werden trotz sehr freundlichem Personal an der Rezeption nicht wiederkommen. Im Service wird Englisch gesprochen.

Wir haben das Doppel-Zimmer in der übelsten Form vorgefunden. Es wurde von uns vor Ort reklamiert. Es gab ein in die Ecke geferchtes Bett für zwei Personen, welches man nur von einer Seite benutzen konnte. Das Zimmer war so klein, dass einer das Zimmer verlassen musste, wenn jemand die antiquarische Toilette benutzen wollte. Ein Ersatz konnte nicht gestellt werden. Das ist kein 4Sterne Hotel(Zimmer) sondern eine bodenlose Frechheit. Wir mussten kurzfristig in einem anderem Hotel buchen. Ich erwarte eine kurzfristige Rückerstattung ansonsten wird sich mein Anwalt darum kümmern.
