The staff were very stand offish about getting me some water even when there was no available source at the reception. I asked for a glass of water from the breakfast section and they said they weren’t allowed to give me any. Wonderful customer service ! Wow

Beautiful hotel. Clean and staff were largely very friendly, but hotel was not meant for family. We brought our two boys - well behaved - and I was with them the whole time, but we felt really unwelcome in the fitness and pool areas as it seemed to tailor to older customers. Would love to go here again, but not with kids.

Very difficult to find room and to find way outside. I had a pet with me and they put me on the 6th floor way in the back with a confusing way to get out quickly potty needs. I definitely would not stay here again due to above.

Comfortable hotel, not as luxurious as the NH collection in downtown Eindhoven. The shower had poor pressure and the shower gel dispenser was empty.

It is a bit of a distance from Eindhoven though, and the bar was not open on the Sunday evening, which is a miss for a hotel without alternative bars within walking distance
The cost of items in the foyer shop was very high too, eg almost €4 for a small bottle of water

Excellent hotel in Veldhoven

Stayed for 3 nights to attend an event held at the hotel. The hotel is in a quiet area, approximately 25mins from Eindhoven by the very frequent bus service, which stops and picks up outside the hotel.
The hotel is very well maintained, with all areas being well looked after. The rooms are comfortable with excellent beds, ensuite shower room, and a fridge in the room.

All staff were incredibly welcoming and chatty, and were obviously very good at their jobs. Breakfast was a buffet, and was superbly laid out with a wide range of choices from standard cooked breakfast, cereals, yogurts, cold cuts, and even pancakes and waffles. The food was delicious, and the staff were very attentive.

There is already talk of returning next year to the same event, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Don’t take your bags from the car prior to finding reception, it’s a fair hike from car park to reception, followed by another hike to your room (in our case). Would’ve been better going without bags & re parking closer to non reception entrance.
Only 1 receptionist for huge hotel is rubbish, split hotel into zones & have 2/3 receptions maybe?
Room hot, bed uncomfortable and hard, worst sleep I’ve had in a long time. Won’t return here again.

STAY AWAY FTOM THIS PLACE * The two rooms we got - no AC!!! Even though the hotel is advertised as all the rooms have it. Room was 85 degrees on a scorching summer day. We didn’t sleep a wink.

Standard rooms don't have air conditioning very dusty the room glasses full of limescale kettle disgusting inside with some liquid. If you want air conditioning you need to upgrade. Shower still had cleaning products on and the drainage was blocked.Very disappointed.

Lovely!! Very clean,All the staff were extremely nice, friendly and helpful, And a credit to the company. The hotel was quiet and I had a very relaxing night after a long drive. I asked for a quiet room and that was exactly what I got . Breakfast was very good and very well organised. The hotel has adapted extremely well to this post covid world. Felt very safe
There is plenty of parking even for a large vehicle and although there is a €5 charge it was worth it as it as parking is spacious and secure, and the hotel itself was not that expensive

This was my second stay this year, and I had a larger room, much more comfortable. Very quiet. Large desk to work at ease.
Comfortable and large bed with firm mattress.
(the training rooms are also great)
I discovered that Veldhoven very nice centre is only ~20 minutes walk and has some nice restaurants. (I came by train and had no car)

Nice hotel that you can take bus to

I ended up here by default bc I booked a flight back to NL the day of and this was literally one of the few places in Eindhoven that had a vacant room for the night. However, my stay was great. The staff was friendly and check in/out was a breeze. It is a bit out of the way from the city center, however, I was able to get there easily by bus (first from the airport to the central station and then transferring again). If you feel like it's a bit out of the way from the center, I wouldnt let that deter you if you're looking at this place as an option. Moreover, the area is very quiet and secluded so you'll be able to sleep peacefully. Plus, they had things I needed like hair dryer, wifi, body wash, etc. I think my only complaints, if any, was I felt the bed wasnt firm enough for myself and the bathroom door you couldnt open all the way bc the bed was blocking it. Overall, my stay here was great.

This is an older hotel that has been renovated. The food is good, but costly. Breakfast was £15 per person pre paid and the dinner buffet was £20 per person. There are no restaurants within walking distance and they don’t allow outside catering. Our room was clean, but one day housekeeping did not come and we had to call for towels and toilet paper. We were there for an event and our room was quite far away from the halls where the event was being held. We were also required to buy plastic money in order to purchase food at the event.

Check-in was diabolical, the room was cramped and lacking in sockets. The bed was uncomfortable and the restaurant fully booked. I was unable to get a meal and nothing nearby the hotel. The only food available was bar snacks eg.bread, crisps and bitterbollen.

The hotel is very large and spread out. It's outside Eindhoven center and very quiet.
Despite having booked a room that I though had AC, I did have to upgrade to get a room with air conditioning as it was a very hot night. The staff were helpful with that and the breakfast was good. It's a big hotel so be prepared to walk a ways to your room.

Hotel is quite shabby and dated although there are signs in the rooms claiming that they are refurbishing. Nowhere to unpack if you are staying for the week except for hanging space. No shelves or drawers. Fitness facilities are very good. Breakfast not served until 7am which is too late if you have an early start like I did. Paid for breakfast but never ate it.

Not a romantic hotel but good on business trip. As it has been said very large and one does get lost.
Downsides. Having to pay for parking on such a large area of land. Bar had no Pastis or Ricard and was a bit scruffy. Choice of wine very poor. Barman friendly. Breakfast was not good. Poor quality juice and other items. Scrambled egg was awful and just dry and crumble like. Awful cakes. Need to improve the quality. Dinner was OK.menu reasonable price. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Would stay again if the price of a room was cheaper than elsewhere od similar standard.

Arriving at the hotel where I have stayed many times before I was confronted by the reception being closed for renovation. There was no indication as to where to go and where the temporary reception las located. No signs, no maps, no indication whatsoever. Aside from that the hotel is still lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and responsive to all requests.

A quick trip over to see a Womens Euro Championship game. This was a chance find near to where we wanted to be. The hotel staff are friendly and efficent. For the price the hotel and its sporting facillities are fantastic. Indeed we will use this hotel again should we visit this area again, which I hope would be soon.

The staff, the bar, the room and cleanliness of the hotel is without question very good.

Disappointing this time!

I have stayed at this hotel now for the last 6 years attending conferences and this is the first review I have had to make. I do so that the hotel is aware that the standards are slipping. As you can see from my review all amenities room facilities, cleanliness, bar plus staff are first class.
But, this time I was extremely disappointed with the quality of food that was served in the PortiCato Restaurant. This is a first for me.
First night I chose the Carbonara as a main course - this was tasteless and 'gloopy' in texture (it looked like it had come straight out of the microwave oven!)
Second night I chose the Saltimbocca (chicken) al a Romana with 1/2 jacket potato! Again I was disappointed with the presentation and quality of taste.
Third night I chose the Veal with Risotto with a sauce which quite frankly was just about edible in my view.
The staff service in this restaurant was as always good and attentive, but I must question the abilities of the cooking staff (I'm sorry I cannot call them Chefs)

It's a shame that I have had to write this report but I feel it must be commented.

Tiny Room in massive hotel

1 night stay in order to get an early flight in the morning from Eindhoven Airport. The hotel has spa facilities a bar and restaurant. My room was very tiny and freezing cold as I couldn't find the air con/ heating. Reception quickly sent someone to my room and they turned on the radiator - I cant fault the service. To watch TV lying on my bed was only possible in an awkward position. This was due to the size and shape of the room. Although very clean the bathroom was just as tiny. All in all a pleasant stay but only 3 stars due to the size and layout of the room.

Hotel staff were helpful, professional and friendly but the hotel itself is extremely dated and can really do with a renovation of the rooms. The carpets were rubbed away and stained and the general furniture was just a bit old.

I was here for a business trip but found it extremely frustrating as the internet was either slow or not working. I was in a room right at the end of the corridor, not sure if that was why.

You get what you pay for

Summer offer of a free breakfast deal was not offered even if it said on their website. Cost of extra €20 for AC is only explained on arrival, if it's hot you need that as the hotel/room was boiling due to a hot day. The hotel is converted from an old hospital and it's very difficult to find rooms. Normal breakfast buffet you get in these hotels ok but not great! Staff attitude was fine.

WE were moved to adjoining rooms as the original request send by email had not been received. The staff were excellent but rooms tired. Conference and sports facilities are exceptional. The beds were very low and bathrooms very small. The restaurant food and breakfast were excellent. However breakfast is expensive if all you need is cereal or toast.

Good clean accommodation close to motorway

it was our second visit in this hotel and on this occasion we actually liked it more than the first time round. The hotel is a huge conference centre where the rooms are quite difficult to find, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel's location, just 20 minutes away from the centre of Einhoven and easily accessible by the public transport, is good for traveling into Europe so perfectly O.K for one night stay, especially that the parking area big and there are no additional charges for it.

A very strange concept hotel located not far from the motorway so quite convenient for travels into Europe. The hotel, although huge, is not really suitable for holidays, but perhaps only for well organised business trips or training courses and corporate meetings.Certainly not for a romantic trip for couples or family vacations!

Disapppointing due to lack of service from staff

I stay in this hotel once a year for business and it is well-equipped for our needs however the staff seem very demotivated/uninterested. Upon check-in, it was an effort to get information from them such as breakfast times, late check-out options etc. and there was certainly no service with a smile. Also at the lunch restaurant, the staff were very slow, also without smiles, and we had to wait a long time to be served (in fact we had to ask them if they would please take our order on more than one occasion). Further, they messed up our bill - there were items on it that we did not consume.

Upon check-out, we had a lot of luggage to carry so we phoned the reception to ask us if there was a carriage available that we could use to transport our belongings to the car. They said they had no one to help or no carriages available. So we were left to our own devices. We went downstairs and searched around and found a baggage carrier and used it ourselves.
So although the hotel is perfectly equipped for conventions/events, it is a pity the staff were not more customer friendly towards their guests. Sometimes it's not about the material things during a hotel stay, but rather the personal experience and willingness to offer a memorable (and positive) service.

Old fashioned room, dirty stained carpet...

Stayed for one night as we needed to be near Eindhoven airport, check in was quick. The member of staff informed me that they don't accept the NH rewards card any longer, which is strange given that there are posters and information about it everywhere. So I did not receive any points for my stay...

We were allocated a very old and tired looking room in the red block, 3 awful chairs, poor decoration and a carpet with many different stains from over its years of use. These pictures looked very different from the rooms advertised. I also noted our room had no air conditioning which I always thought was a must in a 4 star hotel.

We used the leisure facilities, the pool was really pleasant and warm and opened to 11pm which was a plus. Afterwards we had a few drinks in the bar, despite finding out that it would close at 1am we were asked to leave at midnight with our drinks in order that the bar man could close up.

Didn't use the hotel restaurant, althought it looked pleasant with the open roof... The free wifi worked well and the hotel certainly does have a bit of character. I'm not sure I would return though given the poor quality of the room we received.

Huge hotel for meetings and fairs

This hotel is situated about 18 min taxi drive from Eindhoven central station. It's huge, (-a map is recommended to find the way to your room), and includes some conference facilities and exhibition areas. Staff was very professional and friendly, the room clean and tidy but show some signs of wear, -and the springs in my bed were well past their prime. Breakfast was very good, and I also tried the restaurant for dinner (3 courses) which was really excellent. -Cooking and service at a level you might not expect in a hotel a bit outside the city centre.

The location is great, the sport facilities excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, however the breakfast at €18 per person is well over the top and the rooms could do with a facelift, carpet look very tired. But in general recommended when visiting the annual Open European Quilt Competition.

Good choice if you're attending a convention there

We chose this hotel for the price and location to where we needed to stay for the few days. Overall the hotel is ok. Our room was extremely dirty. Carpets were stained all over and the bathroom was not very clean as well. The bed was comfortable so that was a plus. We had to spend another night so we checked in again and were given a room in another area. The green area rooms were cleaner and more pleasant than our previous nights in the red area of the hotel. The hotel itself is quite expensive for what they offer. Restaurant was a little overpriced. Breakfast was good with a great selection. Some of the staff was accommodating. Our bartenders were great to us and remembered us everyday we came in. They even educated us about the Belgium beer. This hotel had a sound convention and it was just too busy for us as guests. It was hard to get through the hallways and we had to explain how we were guest at the hotel just to get up to our room. I would suggest this hotel only if you have a budget (excluding the food) or if you are attending a conference there.

Nice rooms and comfy beds

Rooms are very clean. Service was generally good. Plenty of service at the hotel. The location is a little out of the way but overall a nice place to stay.

Very good value for money.

Accommodation is very good value for money. Typical size hotel room and facilities. Everything clean and working. Is a large place because a conference centre but navigation is not difficult despite what other reviews say. Buffet breakfast is excellent but beware it is very expensive - around 18 euros pp - so only use it if you are very hungry.
Altogether very good for overnight or longer if you want to be near Eindhoven without being in the town.

Nice hotel but a bit far out

The hotel is nice with lots of function rooms and bars and big restaurant. The breakfast was nice, the room was warm and cosy despite feezing cold weather outside. Standard room has no bath which i missed.The sport facilities are excellent.
