Great location in Eindhoven just steps away from the city center and shopping district. It’s a busy area, and if you are in a car when you need to check in, it can be hectic as there are no temporary parking spots.
But, rejoice when you complete check in— there is a good and safe parking lot about one block away (down and across the street). The fees were reasonable given the lack of parking in Eindhoven. The intercom at the gate worked well and it is safe for men or women to walk back to the hotel from the lot.
The rooms are tidy and have good AC. We were able to use WIFI with no problems. The beds have thick cushion pads on top and they were comfortable.
You will enjoy the breakfast! It’s hearty and has everything for any taste. Good coffee and every variety of brew with their fancy machines.

The staff were helpful when we had a small issue with our room.
We loved it!

Not great checking in after a long day. The attitude the receptionist had was atrocious. He shouldn’t be doing nights. The hotel was a bit grubby. I normally wouldn’t mind too much but the guys attitude on the desk was bad. Will not stay again, thankfully I only needed to stay one night.

1. Hotel has introduced card only payments which is unacceptable and really annoying. Allegedly this is for safety of staff, but I find this unpersuasive.

The staff are great but the standard of the property is poor to average. The heating didn’t work, we couldn’t call reception as we had no idea how to (no info given) and too exhausted to go all the way back to reception. Bed was too soft for us and the breakfast wasn’t the best choice. I normally stay elsewhere but thought we’d try this. Some rooms are simply dated and need updating. I’ll stick to my normal hotel. But location is fabulous, but noisy on our side from drunks on the road but ok apart from that.

Property was bigger and more modern than anticipated as picture on Expedia website shows small property in side street. This hotel is on a main street, but not noisy at all. Staff were lovely, although when checking in, I feel more information could've been given such as times of breakfast, check out times, what to do if cleaning was required etc. The breakfast room staff were very informative and helpful and there was a range of food options.
He's was uncomfortable but lovely pillows, no lid on loo seat which I felt was strange but shower was lovely and warm. An iron in the room would've been handy too and although I did request one several times, it never arrived so I made do without

Bike hire with flexibility - I had it from evebing to the following afternoon and was only charged for one hire.
My room had a shower over bathtub..it took a while to run the water until it was hot in the mornings.

No USB ports, just standard plugs.

Disappointing and not worth the money.

I was disappointed with our stay, the pictures on hotels.com are not a true representation of this hotel. Initially walking into the hotel it feels dated and not very clean, especially the lifts and corridors. On entering the room we were surprised by the size however we noticed things were not to standard. There was no handle or lock to the bathroom door, instead a piece of plywood and gaffer tape used to block up the hole where the handle should be. The worse of all though was the smell of urine in the bathroom, it stank! I think it was coming from an old dirty toilet brush?? Also the shower door did not close properly, so it flooded the floor which made it really slippery. The best way I could describe the hotel is a place were groups of lads would stay on a city break. I would not consider this a 4 star hotel as advertised. The hotel car park was also a bit concerning, not secure what so ever, so as tourists we essentially emptied the car. Visiting DAF in Eindhoven.

I regularly stop this hotel and it’s always very well located and good.
I have a little whinge on this occasion because the toilet seat was attached incorrectly and the lid not seat wouldn't stay vertical. So for all you me. Out there that pee standing up, you will understand the difficulty.

Great hotel

Stayed her for the weekend. From check in to check out, nothing was to much for the staff to help out.
Very cleaan place.
Love the digital keys in your phone to get into your room, save losing the keys as i often do.
Will 100% be staying at this hotel once again when I visit Eindhoven.
Highly reccomend this hotel for people travelling to the area to stay.

We hadden een fijne en grote kamer.
Die lag aan de achterzijde gelukkig.
Vorige keer was het aan de voorzijde en toen was er veel lawaai van buiten.
Nu was er alleen rond 3 u lawaai. Iets van een machine die telkens aan en uit ging.

Ontbijt was lekker. Ruime keuze.

1 night stay - late arrival easy close to Trains

Very close to the train station, a 2 minute walk once you know the way out of the main station and across the road.

They very kindly gave me a coffee after ordering my taxi

Bed was comfortable, shower was fine though a little cramped over the bath

Lift breakdown put a damper on things

It was tricky deciding how to rate our stay at the Crown Hotel. Our enjoyment was marred by the breakdown of both lifts for almost the entirety of our time there. We had booked a deluxe room, and were allocated one on the 7th floor, which involved a long haul up steep stairs, though the hotel staff did assist with our luggage. By the next morning, and with no certainty that the lifts would be working any time soon, we asked to be moved to a lower floor. This was arranged immediately but the room we were allocated, whilst comfortable, was significantly smaller and without some of the features provided in our original room. We chose not to raise a complaint, though the offer of something by way of compensation would have been a nice gesture. But other than that, the staff at the hotel did their utmost to cope with the problems caused by the lifts breaking down, and all the staff we had dealings with were friendly, efficient and concerned to help.

Other than that, the hotel is well situated, close to the station, shops and restaurants etc. Breakfast provided a good range of options and breakfast service was efficient and helpful.

Worth considering

The Crown is a great hotel. Perfectly located for the train station and the city. The staff are friendly. The rooms a little tight but there is enough space. The beds are comfortable and the addition of a kettle and a coffee machine are a bonus. Breakfast is plentiful with a good choice. I have stayed here twice before and will stay again.

Convenient location in the town but not for those traveling with vehicles. Staff in person was friendly but not as much over the phone(I got hung up on) or via their whatsapp messaging service to which I'm still awaiting a response 2 weeks later. Room was comfortable but some improvements and maintenance could be had(Our shower door wouldn't close completely due to the hinges being worn off).

A good night sleep 😴

One night before flying back home. Room was very nice. With coffe machine and water in glass bottles for me that was superb. Bed was comfortable and have an very comfortable pillows. Air conditioning working perfectly especially i like my rooms to be worm at night. Location of hotel excellent 15 min from airport and under 2 in to restaurants etc. I would definitely stay there again.
