Nice big beds in the room we chose, which was a welcome change from the twin beds we had had at most of the hotels on our trip. We also appreciated the free laundry facilities. The rooms were really clean and tidy with plenty of space. They featured a lot of small green thinking technology to help reduce carbon footprint without disruption to comfort.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and were able to help with questions around finding certain places.
The location couldn't be better, a stones throw from the main transport hub. So visiting any part of the Netherlands was a breeze.
I would highly recommend and will certainly be returning.

Front Desk staffs were friendly, although, it seemed there were always a long wait to talk to someone. Need more staffs. Room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly even after sharing with the management, place is busy; so the business is not hurting. I have experienced during my stay from Aug 16th till Aug 29th; broken laundry machines, broken elevators, no towels left in the room, most times no water bottles were left, and didn’t change linens for a long time till I notified front desk. I was disappointed.

2nd time staying and it has been just as good as the first. Staff are excellent and the bus station just over the train tracks means we can travel around easily.
Getting to the hotel is easy from the airport too with busses. We hired two bikes to cycle around which was good fun too!

The heating wasn’t working properly and I got a cold after 3 night stay. All other hotels were booked, so I couldn’t move. They don’t have maintenance available on the weekend for immediate fix. When I first told about the issue, I was laughed at - like it’s me that’s the problem, not used to European winter.
Furniture is old, there are scoffs on the tv table and holes in chair fabric and pillow.
The sink was clogged - again no maintenance to fix over the weekend.
Food mediocre. Asked and paid for an egg on top of avocado toast - they forgot it.

I was met with a glass of Prosecco at check-in. Loved the hotel. Nice bed, fluffy covers. The only thing is that it was quite noisy in the morning when everybody started to exit their rooms.

Hotel is exceptionally central and convenient for Eindhoven Centraal Station. Very busy - even for the time of my stay, which was non-term time for students. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming - although house-keeping rather temperamental and inconvenient in that my room would be changed in the evening. Another oddity is that hotel reception would not take cash - only credit cards. What about any guests who do not have credit cards...?

Overall a pretty good hotel - is was just a bit more hostel like then what I hoped it to be. Due to numerous students running around and actually living there (with an indoor gym: sweaty people in the elevator), the vibe is not that what I'm used to or would wish for a business trip. And, the person serving us in the bar had no knowledge on liquors and how to serve them. (Should've made abuse of it - 'you serve it in a long drink, really!')

Extreme convenient location. 30 secs walk from the station. One of the tallest building in the area, room is big with nice view of the city. Lower floors seems to be occupied by students, so it does have the vibe of college dorm. Love the ping pong table and washer/dryer facility. Housekeeping forgot to clean my room though I notified reception I was the room cleaned on specific day. Shower is a bit weak, toiletries amenities bare. I got water all over the floor from shower because if the design of the shower stall.

I stayed for two nights and overall it was solid. It was quiet, clean, and a stone's throw away from Eindhoven Station. It was very close to a lot of shopping and food places as well. Only slight negatives were the duvet made me incredibly warm at night and the bed was kinda hard. I'd stay here again.

Absolutely loved it. Perfectly clean, comfortable, good size bathroom with excellent shower, comfy bed. Superb blackout curtains. All furnishings in good condition, lots of storage space. Perfect location for my stay as it was next to the train station and 2 minutes from De Effenaar. The staff are fabulous. And, given it's called the Student Hotel, the residents are really quiet.

The hotel was very convenient. It's right next to the train station and you can find great shopping places and restaurants. Also the hotel restaurant has a decent menu. Breakfast was satisfactory, though it was more or less the same all 5 days. The room and bathroom were very small and felt a little congested. the wall shelf was covered with dust. Nevertheless, there was a daily service of housekeeping, which we appreciated.
There's a nice gym and a breakout area that includes DIY laundry too. Was a nice experience.

The experience was generally bad room service provided just one toilet paper even when it says two guests toothpaste not in the room had to travel from 18th floor to request for a tiny portion.Food was ridiculously expensive. Hotel was also expensive and worse of it breakfast not included and priced at nearly 9euros per person. The city tax issue was also an embarrassment as I kept getting hasled about it throughout my stay which made me wholly uncomfortable

A good value, casual hotel in a great location for bars, restaurants and public transport. The staff are always extremely polite and friendly. The rooms are well equipt and the city views from the upper floors are great. The breakfast is basic, not bad but quite expensive for what you get, which is the only negative. I usually choose to stay here whenever I'm visiting Eindhoven for work.

Solo stay for business in early May
I stayed at the Student Hotel for 5 days in early May. The hotel was everything I wanted it to be as I was in Eindhoven for work.
The location is excellent and right outside of the train station. Also you are a few minutes walk from everything in the city center (shops, restaurants, etc).
The hotel facilities were nice and I liked that they had open ironing board and the gym was especially nice and even had a barbell which was amazing.
Server from the front desk was excellent and the staff was helpful with any questions.

Staff very friendly and accommodating, hotel clean, comfortable and in a great spot very close to everything, and a great bar, only tiny negative was the tea/coffee in the room as there was only decaff and no cups. We were there for carnival and it is a fantastic event and would recommend everyone to experience it, we will be going back to eindhoven and will deffinately be staying back at the student hotel.

As an option for the business person in Eindhoven TSH hits the mark on most criteria. Students ,as the name suggests ,do stay here on long a term basis but there are floors dedicated to non students so if you book a room here for a few nights business’s travel you won’t experience any issue with regard to student noise etc as you won’t be sharing a floor with Students. Not that I have anything against students (I was a student too many years ago) but I was concerned that I might end up next door to a student playing loud music all night. Really showing my age here! If anything the students here are more interested in study than parties. I stayed three nights. Rooms are very clean and modern as you’d expect in a building just over 1 year old.Excellent bathroom with large shower. Hotel have their own parking lot adjacent to the building. Cost is €15 per night. Breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Nice Restaurant and bar. Very short walk to the town centre (300m) and located right beside Eindhoven main station.Big shout out to the excellent staff who were very proactive in relation to trying to solve the minor internet issue I had. Staff are enthusiastic and very friendly. Overall I would be happy to recommend THS and will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location by the train station and very easy to locate due to its size. Friendly staff, soft pillows. If you fear fire, stay away: the stairs are in the center of the building next to the elevators instead of at the ends.
