Everything stood out to us at the Campanile Eindhoven. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable! The staff was perfect, especially the Manager who helped us personally whenever we had questions.

I arrived after 18.00. Expedia charged my card. At the reception I was told that I can not get invoice for full amount. Only for city tax or for city tax and amount reduced by expedia commision. My company bookkeeper do not respect Expedia bill because there is no company details. Now I have problem

Quiet & functional room with TV & coffee maker. McDonald’s & bus stop to either the city & central train station on the airport a five minute walk away - bus to train station also stops at football stadium. 401, 402, 403.

Bat area / restaurant but we didn’t use it, clean @ organised reception area. Friendly helpful staff.

The hotel is on the edge of a business park but do not be put off by that as it is relatively close to bars and restaurants in adjacent Veldhoven. It has a large secure car park which has controlled access over night, worth knowing if travelling by motorcycle. The staff were really friendly and helpful and check in was a breeze. The rooms are accessed via lift or stairs to external balconies which means there are no internal corridors. We had a king size room with the usual huge Dutch bed which was really comfy. The shower room was bright and clean with one of the most powerful showers I've ever used; brace yourself. The only minor criticism is that the ambient lighting in the room was great but there wasn't any option for brighter ceiling room lights which may be a problem for some. Also the wardrobe was just a few hangers on a rail and 4 pigeon holes; some drawers and coat hooks would have been handy but we were only there for 3 nights and we managed.
The hotel/reception/bar/restaurant are is very pleasant, clean and comfy with a mix of sofas, chairs and stools. We ate in there for 2 evenings (it would have been 3 but they don't do food on Sundays apart from breakfast; worth noting)The food was excellent with a varied choice on the menu plus daily specials. We made the mistake of not booking our breakfast when we booked the rooms as we weren't too sure if it would be worth it. Do it, it's cheaper if you do and you won't regret it.Great choice of cold meats and cheeses etc.

Room was excellent, only very slight issue was a sticky mark on one of the bedside tables, but that was minor in the grand scheme of things.

Decent size room, heating was required as outside temp was cold and it worked well.

Shower and bathroom excellent, and the bed is the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on - wish I could get one shipped back to the UK!

Bar area is warm and welcoming and the staff were all excellent, gladly speaking English as I couldn’t speak Dutch unfortunately. Aisha on check-in was fantastic and gave me all the info I needed.

Location is excellent, centre of Eindhoven a ten min drive away, and PSV campus the same which is what I went for (football game). 100% would go back again.

Absolutely horrible smell of stale sweat. They have to clean out the air in all the rooms. The sheets smell horribly as well. I had to ask for a room change yet no improvement. I even went to see a friend in a different room same horrible stink. I can’t believe I paid this much for a place like this. No options of interesting stuff to watch on TV, bathroom did not drain well. The entire bathroom got flooded while I had my bath. The body soap dispenser was empty, I had a really horrible stay in this place. Hotel campanile should invest in air freshners as well. I will certainly not recommend this place to my enemy. You guys have to do better for what you charge!! I am very unhappy about my experience. Thankyou.

Generally, entire experience was good. I wish the rooms had AC and actual windows, not the shutters.
A couple things I did not like:
I left the do not disturb sign all days I was there and 2 of the days housekeeping still went in the room. One of those times we were just waking up.
Another issue I had was the late night reception guy was not very friendly and seemed bothered by our presence in the bar/restuarant area. One of the nights there was a man at the bar talking to him. This man inserted himself into a conversation that was a misunderstanding between my husband and the attendant. He was rude and it took me great restraint not to tell him off.
The restaurant staff was nice during breakfast hours. And the day attendants were also very nice.

Bar was amazing.
Area a little bit remote but there is a Macdonalds and a supermarket nearby.
Also it was only an hour walk from the airport.
There are hire bikes nearby too.
Room was a little bit small but the shower room was nice, there was a desk and good eletric shutters. There was a walkway round the building. The car park is the only way in or out and this has gates at night so it is secure. Id stay here again, the rate is reasonable.
I walked to an area with bars about 15 mins away. The centre of Eindhoven is much further.
Dott hire bikes are great, you just have to work out where you can park them.
Eindhoven has dedicated cycle lanes, no one even wears a helmet

Also other guests were very loud over the night , but that is not fault of the hotel employees, just customers with no behaviour:(

We really liked the American motel style access to the room with access from an outside gallery. Even though location is a bit away from the centre of Eindhoven, it was a pleasant 45 minute walk after a long car journey. However there is a frequent and fast bus service just around the corner. The hotel offers good dining and breakfast services. Staff were very welcoming.

I booked 2 rooms for a work trip my room was clean but smelled like an ashtray, being a non smoker hard to put up with smell. Informed reception came over and done 2 puffs of an air freshener. not a nice smell, the other room had no soap asked for it to be done no action, in the end asked for the soap so had to install in the dispenser ourselfs. Staff are pleasant and nice to deal with.

Extremely disappointed in Eindhoven

I used this hotel as a stop over from Northern Germany to the Eurotunnel.
On arrival there was no one at reception and the staff around said I had to wait for reception. 5mins later someone arrived.
The rooms are clean, but best described as motel functional.
My experience went downhill from there. I sleep on a firm bed, but the bed was solid, the bath doesn’t drain when having a shower and the walls are very thin.
This thinness of the walls is an issue with the neighbouring rooms. My neighbour in #4, proceeded to have unreasonably noisy sex until 1am, followed by loud talking, phone calls and going in an out of the room until I finally slept at 3am. At 7am you can hear all surrounding rooms iPhone alarms going off. Ultimately I had a terrible nights sleep and have informed reception before leaving.
I won’t use this hotel again and will strongly consider if I use the same brand of hotels again. I’ve travelled the world for many years and this was the worst I’ve had for a long time.

Staff courteous but not friendly. Very disappointed no fridge in the room. The security shuttering indicates there was a security risk which made us feel uncomfortable. Plastic and paper cups we thought was tacky. Cups were not always replaced daily. No contact details to communicate with front reception. Television froze for approximately one hour on one day. Overall signage to get to the motel after disembarking public transport was poor.

Our stay was marred again due to lack of management oversight. They seem to be asleep when it comes to knowing about issues relating to their rooms and they rely on someone complaining before anything gets done. Last time it was a very saggy mattress. This time the first room we were given was next door to where the builders were working with noisy equipment. Our complaint resulted in another room, only to find there was no water in the taps or toilet flush - another complaint only resulted in hollow apologies and the water would be on when the builders were finished. Management didn't know of any of these failings until we complained. Their response inferred that they only know about their rooms when someone complains.

The hotel is currently under renovation, so there were no facilities available. We had however received a message to advise us of this. The staff were very welcoming and helpful when it came to recommending somewhere to eat, and also offered to book us a table which we took them up on. So glad we did as it was great! The room was clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable, and the free WiFi good. Overall a pleasant experience given the circumstances.

We stayed for one night because the location was close to the airport. Unfortunately, public transportation doesn't operate early in the morning (or maybe because it was a Sunday), so we had to take a cab to the airport. The reception staff were very friendly, extremely helpful, and everything in the room was in order. Clean, hot shower, the basics.
The only miss would be the location. There is no footpath, so we had to walk in the bicycle path to get to the hotel. There is a McDonald's and supermarkets around a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

A different view from a room for a change

The building, staff and the food were excellent. However my stay was during a spell of very hot weather which caused sleeping to be very hard. The room was very warm even with the window open with no breeze. I am sure normally the room would be more than adequate. The view from the balcony does show different ways of solving problems between cars and pedal cycles. Overall I would have no qualms on returning because the weather was during my stay exceptional.

The hotel is near the motorway and not far from the airport but miles from the centre of town. The hotel is dated and needs renovation. It was clean but housekeeping had the habit of leaving the window open and the heating off which meant the room took 15 mins to warm up on arrival. There was a huge draft under the door. Staff were efficient, lovely and friendly.

Just spend the night before taking off at Eindhoven airport. We would love to have directions to the airport on the property of the hotel next time. Again the citytax on arrival .. do not forget this raises the price by 10%!

Good location if travelling through and not wanting to stray too far from the main roads. hotel has gated parking, so secure overnight. Also there is a restaurant and bar, which serves great burgers!
The rooms are basic but generally clean and comfortable, and the shower was hot and powerful. For a motel-type setup, the rooms were surprisingly quiet.

Great Hotel, Great Service, Great Deal

The stay was overall great and the staff was so nice! It is only about 20 minutes from Central Eindhoven by bus (401) and the stop is right behind the hotel (about a 5 minute walk). The 401 also takes you to and from the airport which was convenient. It's more like a motel with the rooms leading directly outside, however the fact that we had a heater in our room and a separate one in our bathroom was great since we stayed in February. When we came home from a long day in Amsterdam, the bed was made so neatly and the teas and coffee was replaced, it felt great! The surrounding area doesn't have much, only a McDonalds near the bus stop but, we got to see the suspended bike ring as it was right by our hotel! Personally I prefer not being in the city when I am staying somewhere. We got a great deal from Hotels.com and saved a lot of money while staying in a hotel that provided us with everything we needed and much more.

Great little place for a quick stop over. The evening meals are good home cooked Dutch food. There's not much close by, Eindhoven is a 5km walk, but there's a good bus service.
