Stayed several times and service and rooms always impress me. On this occasion we were allocated the recently refurbished rooms and they were spacious and well appointed. What would be called the 'norm' at Van Der Valk hotels could be easily regarded as luxury in the UK except at realistic, affordable and value for money prices. This property feels a flagship.

Great hotel but rooms need a deep clean!
Rooms really do need a deep clean. Mold above the shower. Limescale build up in the toilet and shower heads. Bed had a big sharp piece of wood underneath. Windows were dirty. Stains around the room and wallpaper was ripped in places.
On a positive note, common areas were excellent clean and looked great. The bar was brilliant and the pool/ gym far exceeded our expectations!
Staff were very helpful and polite at every turn including the cleaning staff, security, reception and bar staff. We felt welcomed and helped whenever we spoke to somebody.
Location is a bit far out from the centre for tourists but it’s not that bad with the great bus system.
Better signage on the way in to point you to the reception would be helpful as the concierge entrance looks like the main entrance.
Our last night there was a lot of loud children from the sports centre in the hotel drinking and smoking everywhere which was a little intimidating for a young family so perhaps extra security would have been good on a night like that as they were up all night causing disturbance.

Loved our stay. We booked three double rooms for one night and they were all upgraded at check-in by reception team. The staff were super friendly. Rooms were modern, comfortable, clean and fresh. TV was modern with screen sharing which was great to see.

Helaas deze keer een overnachting waar ik ziek was. Vanwege koorts eten op kamer besteld alleen jammer van de €12 bezorgkosten (50% van de maaltijd). Heb aangegeven dat ik vanwege koorts (griep) liever niet in het restaurant ging zitten om geen andere mensen aan te steken. Ik had zelf als service de bezorgkosten achterwege gelaten maar heb gewoon netjes betaald.
Verder wakker gelegen van de boven buurvouw die op hakken door de kamer paradeerde. Wat gehorige kamer dus. En de douche kon niet warm genoeg waardoor ik met koorts voor m’n gevoel onder een lauwe douche stond te klappertanden. Heb hem op z’n allerheetst gezet maar mocht helaas niet baten.
Verder prima verblijf en ondanks ziek goed uit kunnen rusten. Lekker bed. Kom heel graag in dit hotel en boek het iedere keer weer wanneer ik voor mijn werk meerdere dagen in Eindhoven moet zijn.
