From the moment you enter you can feel the attention to detail in the decor and styling. The reception staff were lovely and the room was large, modern, well appointed and very comfortable. Very nice toiletries, too. The bathroom was separated with a curtain rather than a door, which was unexpected, but it did a good job of keeping the steam in when showering. We chose the hotel for its proximity to the station and were glad we did - it was only around a 10 minute walk or so. Highly recommend this hotel if you're catching an early train.

This newer hotel is very near the Avignon TGV train station, but not much else. There may be bus service into the Old Town (“inside the wall”), but we didn’t have easy information about it so we took Bolt ride shares into town for dining, etc. Restaurant is average for food quality and the staff were all very kind and hard-working, but seemed overly stretched and understaffed. Rooms were tight and sort of minimalist but adequate.

Surprising.

I really liked this hotel.It was comfortable, modern and clean. The downstairs area has been so well designed it is essentially one very large room but divided into reception, bar and restaurant. It was very inviting and the food was so good in the restaurant too. highly recommend.

We booked this hotel to be close to the train station for an early morning train but we were pleasantly surprised at how modern, eclectic and comfortable it was. The room had a unique layout but it worked and had plenty of space for stuff and was very comfortable. The restaurant was a lifesaver since no restaurants nearby were open for dinner on a Monday night and we didn't want to go into the main part of the city because of a festival that drew traffic and crowds on a sweltering summer day. The pool was lovely and lots of shade options. Great stay!

I stayed here because of proximity to the TGV rail station ( a few miles outside of Avignon). I had an early train the next morning. The station is a 10-15 minute walk away but we had suitcases, so we asked for a cab to be scheduled for us. The cab was on time but charged us 15 Euros extra for being outside the city. We stayed for a total of 3 nights. The staff especially Noemi was really nice and helpful. The lobby and restaurant was very modern and clean but the room was a little outdated. The water pressure on the shower was very weak. Overall we had a decent stay.

disappointed and pricey.....

Got in late,,,8pm. Nice dining area was full with a 2 man band. Got a reservation for 9pm....came back,,staff unresponsive as we stood waiting for 5 minutes...then told they were no longer serving food,,but could sit in cafeteria....why not tell us before reservation. Left and ate at mcd's. Great service. Beds were hard and beside bed was a whole bunch tape/glue marks along full length bed. Not sure what was there,,,but all gone now. Not worth the $375 price tag......

I was pleasantly surprised by the quiet and comfort of the room. As it was 100 degrees outside, it was perfectly temperature controlled inside.

On the outskirts, but still worth considering

First the bad news - The hotel is some distance from Avignon City Centre, though easily walkable from the TGV station. Now the good news, the room was clean and the beds comfortable with plenty of power points, a good shower and a fridge and kettle. There's a half hourly bus at EUR1.40 running until around 9:30PM to the Porte de l'Oulle from which it is possible to transfer (free) to e.g. the central station (Avignon Poste bus station is just across the road) or to Villeneuve. Given what we paid for the room, the cost of the bus fare was easily recouped. If you are willing to take the bus or have a car (the hotel has a car park), this is a practicable alternative to a city centre hotel.

Not clean at all.

Worst hotel that I ever stay. restroom light is not working. Room was not ready we were there after 3:00 pm. Furniture are all worn out and the most unbearable thing is the carpet is super dirty. You can clearly see all the marks.

It was really disappointing to arrive and discover their restaurant was closed for renovations as there is nothing nearby. It’s advantage is being near the TGV station. However, in our second day we found we had not been given clean coffee cups, more coffee or tea. That was a bit much considering the lack of restaurant. We could not understand why we had not been told about this earlier so we could consider another hotel.

Centrally located in beautiful Provence

This hotel is conveniently located a few blocks from the TGV station for Avignon. It was a great location for two-night stop-over, and jumping off point for our tour of Provence. The room was comfortable and modern, with all the amenities.

3 nights in Avignon

It feels like a motel to me. AC was not adequate throughout our stay which was over 35 degree Celsius during the day. Very basic \"hotel\" with no amenities and basic breakfast. Parking is a plus though if you have a vehicle. Poor value for money given a lack of AC.

Good access to TGV station

Needed a good hotel close to the TGV station for an early departure, and it is well situated (perhaps a bit far for walking, however; I had a rental car). Everything was perfectly satisfactory for the price. Room size adequate, nicely furnished, good staff, clean, etc. I definitely recommend it.

Walking distance from Avignon TGV station

We checked in at 11.00pm at night and were allocated a room the hadn't been serviced, or was being used.
Wifi connected Ok but wasn't connected to the internet. Advised reception but no change. I had to go down to the lobby in the morning to get internet access. Only two pillows on the bed and they were very thin. On a positive note the second room we were allocated was clean and functional. The hotel is in walking distance from Avignon TGV station

Disappointed in Avignon

Hotel itself is just OK and much too far from the town of Avignon...from train station we expected to take a taxi to the hotel..But you have to walk quite a good distance from the station to the taxi pick up...the cabs aren't waiting at the station as you normally expect...the taxi driver then tells us it's only a short distance and we can walk...with all our luggage. So he pointed to where we should walk to the hotel and this is about a 20 minute walk pulling heavy luggage!! Taxi service we later found out is only by calling them to come pick you up wherever you are and you'll have a 20 minute wait. the hotel is too far from the town... the train stops at 11pm and bus at 8pm with no Sunday bus service. The hotel did offer a mini sized in room safe which was not laptop compatible. I would not recommend this hotel...the desk staff was not very helpful and spoke little English. I would suggest to stay closer to the old town just outside the wall that surrounds Avignon. Also, if you plan to visit Chateauneuf du Pape for wine tour book as soon as possible. You can't get there on your own, only by tour bus or private tour...there are no buses or trains to get you there if you should not be able to book a tour as we discovered.

Top spot for TGV

We simply need a hotel close to the TGV station. Computer problems when booking in so we and other guests offered a free drink while waiting for the problem to be fixed. Great PR. Staff were very good and the room excellent.Would definitely stay again.

Value of a hotel choice!

The hotel is fairly nice and clean. Their is a certain smell that I couldn't figure out from the hallway and room but my guess would be a chemical cleaning agent used. Location is about 10 minute car drive to city centre. For the money we paid for one night is a bit more in comparison to other hotels we have stayed in different cities and villages in France.

Excellent for a 1 night stopover near the TGV station.

Convenient for Avignon TGV station, which is an easy 10 minute walk. To get to the center of Avignon, there is a bus which stops just outside the hotel, the bus journey is maybe 10 minutes or so (the hotel staff provided a bus timetable). The bedroom was modern, and very clean. All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and they were willing to speak (very good) English when my (very bad) French failed me!

Terrible service, room NOT yet cleaned

I checked in at 10pm, and the staff gave us a room that was NOT cleaned. The beddings were not made and the toilet towels were everywhere! The staff didn't change a room for us after an hour of waiting. She just sent a Recetiotion staff to clean the room for us... We waited for a total of 2 hours to get in a room, yet it's still smelly in the room... It's really unacceptable!
