The staff was very polite and super helpful. We purchased tickets to the Louvre Museum upfront but weren't sure if they were open after the robbery. The two gentlemen from the front desk immediately contacted the museum to assure that they were open on Wednesday when we planned to go.

We stayed in the suite - a nice spacious room over two levels w/2 bathrooms (only 1 lavatory). It's comfortable and pleasing. Door faces an inner courtyard and pepole can look inside unless you pull over the covers. The onlt drawback to the rooms is that they a bit dark without outsdie light (especialy if you pull the cover over the doors). Location is ecellent - nice lively area w/ lots of food and entertaiment options. Great choice if you don't feel compelled to stay smack in the middle of the more touristy areas.

The Two Giraffes is a lovely, small hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and well kept up. The hotel is in a quiet area, close to the Marais, and is easily accessible to the major attractions by foot or Metro. We really enjoyed our stay, and recommend it highly.

The staff was excellent. They were very friendly, accommodating, and responsive. It was my first time in in Paris in 20+ years and the hotel made the stay very pleasant. The location in the 11th Ard is a very vibrant neighborhood with a lot to offer experience and enjoy away from the main tourist areas.

Home away from home

I loved my stay at this hotel. It was a home away from home. The staff were very friendly and helpful as I was sick for a few days of my trip and house cleaning provided me with lots of water and tea.

The hotel is in a great location. Super close to the metro and the beautiful Marais area.

Superb hotel in the 11th district, very quiet street off Ave Parmentier. Owner and staff extremely welcoming. Attention to details in every aspect of our stay: hotel/room deco & amenities with beauty standing bath and top range Nespresso machine. Quiet outdoor sitting area surrounded by trees and the ‘giraffe’. Easy walkable distance to many restaurants, 20 min easy walk from place des Vosges and very lively Marais area, 30min from notre dame/gare de Lyon but also easy access to public transports both bus/metro. A little gem in Paris!

The hotel is cute, clean & minimalist, However, during our 4 nights there, the elevator was down 3 out 4. It was a little annoying especially we had a stroller and a few luggages to carry up & down (when we check in and out). Regarding room service, they either have a few cleaning people taking turns to clean our room or just one bipolar person. The room and clothes would be well organized one day and the next day, my kid’s stuff animal would be on the floor. They never replaced or clean our glasses/cups, It was like their rules to drink the dirty cups or just clean them yourself! The front desk staff was okay, not rude nor friendly.

This is a lovely small hotel in walking distance to the Maris museums, shops, restaurants and cafes. The rooms are a nice size for French standards. The breakfast room buffet is enjoyable.

My sister and I stayed here. We both loved it. Staff are very nice. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are nicely decorated and our rooms were spacious for Paris (but we did opt for the larger rooms). The only thing is my room had a bathtub no standing shower and hers did. But that wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. Great restaurants in the area and close to many metro stations, highly recommend!

The property was very nice, BUT the rooms are TOO small, need a dresser and real nightstands! Also, I didn't care for the property across the street. I wasn't sure if it was an apartment building or what, but it wasn't nice to look out the window or door and see all that graffiti.

However, the front desk staff was AMAZING, very helpful and accommodating!

The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating EVERYDAY!!

I would recommend this property if these small issues were corrected.

Everything was amazing. Super modern super clean. Paris is great great with lots of history and character but sometimes it’s nice to stay in an updated and modern accommodation. We loved our stay and will be back. Staff was 10/10. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

We actually liked the hotel itself, modern with excellent Air conditioner! That initself won our hearts because everywhere we went in France / Paris there was no or very weak air conditioning
Breakfast was great, morning chef made us great omelette and fried eggs, best buffet breakfast we had for most reasonable price!
But location we found out was inconvenient for us, far from main touristy sites, we had to get taxis to go to the center. But younger people could walk. All in all we had a good experience during our 2 night stay in this hotel.

Shame about the bathroom

The stay was comfortable, and the service was great. My only issue was the room. The shower was only a hand shower with a wall holder that was broken, so we had to hold the hand shower to use it. There was no shelf in the bathroom so it was difficult for all of us to keep our things by the sink. Lastly, the frosted window separating the bathroom from the main bed meant that anyone using the toilet in the middle of the night would flood the entire room with light.

An excellent stay in Paris!

This is a rather smart and stylish hotel, very clean, there is a metro station close by and the breakfast is very good. The location can either be very appealing if you want to be in a ‘real Parisian neighborhood’ or slightly inconvenient if you want to be close to the touristy spots.
The people at the front desk could not have been more helpful and kind.

This is a great hotel in a less touristy area. There are lots of shops, restaurants, bars, and markets but there are far more locals than tourists in the neighborhood. It was quiet at night, yet we could walk to several metro stations and ended up walking to many of the Paris sites via long strolls through the city. Although the room was not large, it was designed well and we were very comfortable.

Les Deux Girafes is a stylish and very well designed modern hotel in a good location. The staff were helpful and friendly and the dinner we had in the hotel's restaurant was good. Our room was small but did not feel cramped, partly because of the wall of windows looking out onto the inner courtyard walkway. My only complaint was the lack of space to store things in the very small bathroom. Bed was really comfortable. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel twice during our trip (on the front and back end). We’d booked a room at the Sofitel because it was closer to family, but it was so awful we cancelled and went back to Les Deux Girafes. It’s in a great neighborhood (not touristy) with wonderful restaurants nearby. The rooms are impeccably clean and big for Paris. Staff is lovely and accommodating. Small fridge (which is great when traveling with 4 yr old) and coffee in the room. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately there are not enough characters for my full review of this hotel! I must admit that the name of the Hotel had me intrigued, What I can say it is clean and tidy, with a thought out design through out. The rooms are to a high standard even down to the toilet rolls and the toiletries were excellent. It is a quirky design which works perfectly and the 34 rooms are really well designed and thought out! We stayed in a garden family room which had a seperate area for our boy, which was perfect, it had all the essentials, Safe, fridge, water and bathrobes and slipper. The room was nicely decorated with subtle Giraffe designs. The Flat screen TV was in several languages. The free WiFi was excellent and it kept our boy happy, streaming. Also on this level was a mini gym and massage rooms. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, and the Towels and bedding, which were of a high quality were changed each day. The next level up was the reception/bar area which is as quiet at the rest of the hotel and the outside seating is perfect for a drink overlooking the garden courtyard,where stands a modern art Giraffe statue that is tastefully lit up. They will also hold your luggage for your last day of Sightseeing. This will be the first hotel we look at for our next stay in Paris, the location is perfect with 2 metro stations within walking distance, and only a few stops from all the main attractions and Railway stations. The area also has many cafes, bakeries and shops.

Nice new boutique hotel

Overall the stay was good. Good price for a new boutique hotel in a convenient Paris location. Staff are nice and helpful except this unfortunate grumpy one who checked us in who didn’t seem happy openning the hotel front door for us nor know how room keys work - it was late pass midnight.

Design of the hotel is unique and probably not for those who want high level of privacy. Room doors are heavy and walls would shake when your neighbours shut theirs

I really liked the design of the hotel which was very stylish and witty. The only thing that let me down quite badly was the air conditioning which wasn’t working upon check-in. It was really hot and humid for the first two days in Paris and I wished the hotel had handled its maintenance and repair better as it was really uncomfortable in the room and I couldn’t sleep well. Otherwise it was a lovely property and I would consider returning in the future.

The only issue I had was that the housekeeping staff never replenished our water bottles, toilet paper and tissue paper so we had to go to the front desk for these items when they ran out. Cute hotel broken air conditioner and zero sleep

The hotel was centrally-located and cute. Unfortunately the air conditioning was broken. I found this out after checking in, and being in the room, having to go ask the front desk if I was not working the thermostat correctly because it was so hot in the room. The front desk told me that no, the air conditioner was broken. We barely slept at night because it was so hot. I would not stay here again. The hotel did comment that they addressed this matter with me but they did not reach out.

Really lovely hotel in a fantastic area. Lovely staff, super comfortable beds and beautiful rooms.
Lots of good restaurants, bakeries and bars close by the hotel but also an easy walk to Canal St Martin, Le Marais and Bastille for even more variety.

The only downside was the breakfast. Whilst the restaurant itself is a nice setting, comfy and similar stylish decor to the rest of the hotel, with pleasant service, the coffee from a machine and undercooked eggs were a disappointment. On the third day we decided to miss it completely and went to the local Boulangerie instead.

Would certainly stay again and recommend to book without breakfast included.

Checking in took almost an hour because there was only ever one person at the front desk and the one party ahead of us had lots of issues, our air conditioning never worked and it got VERY warm and uncomfortable in our room, and lastly there were no real amenities, for example at night when we would get back, I just want to watch tv and fall asleep, I’ve never been to a hotel without movie channels! It was just Paris cable. Very odd.
