I love the professionalism of the staff . Always very helpful and informative. I really appreciate waking up to a breakfast that’s close to a home cooked breakfast. The rooms and hotel is always very clean and the decor of the lobby and bar area is a nice design.

Friendly staff! Excellent breakfast buffet.
Lance
Great location for a quick stay in the Auburn/Opelika AL area. Free Continental breakfast, warm outside pool in June, and helpful staff.
Cheryl
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was quite tasty with a good variety of food. Sidney at the front desk was awesome. She was most pleasant, professional, and efficient.
Jamie
The rooms weren’t very clean. A previous guest much have spilt coffee in the entry way and it hadn’t even been wiped down in the door, walls, and frame.
The staff there were not friendly, specifically the person who checked us in. I understand some people aren’t up for conversation, but don’t take a job where guests for you have questions if you prefer not to be social.
For such a friendly town in Auburn/opelika, the people and place didn’t match the rest of our visit.
We will be back, but not staying at La Quinta. There are a few other hotels within walking distance that we will check out.

Good visit

Hotel was clean and modern. Loved the complimentary EV chargers. Close to the interstate, and various shops and restaurants. Rooms were big, bed and pillows were excellent. Breastfast was tasty. Nice place to stop while driving to Destin FL from SC. The young male night front desk attendant (6/26) needs to be coached up on customer service as he was not very friendly nor was able to answer questions asked about local eateries or the cost (if any) of the EV chargers the hotel provided. Seemed irritated by questions. Day staff was much more friendly. Would stay again.
henry

This is my go to hotel when I stay in Opelika, which is several times a year. It’s a great value with a very friendly staff. Also a great location.

Megan
Great overnight stay. Room was comfy and clean.

I don’t prefer hotels that are pumping fragrance/air freshener at you as you enter the lobby. Too strong and overwhelming and implies that something needs covering up (musty, dirty, moldy smells). The room also had some sort of scent. Many travelers have sensitivities to fragrance. AC in room smelled musty. Overall, overpriced for the quality, but we were in town for a game and availability was limited.

Me encantó la limpieza de la habitación, fue un placer quedarme mientras asistía al partido de Argentina. Me llevó un bonito recuerdo de Aurburn y del hotel

The hotel is in a convenient location with plenty of food options. The hotel itself was clean and well kept however its supposed to be a smoke free facility but our floor and the elevator was very smoked out. The showers throughout the hotel were not relished with shower gel, shampoo or conditioner however they did offer mini bar soaps. Just make sure to pack whatever essential you need dont rely on the hotel.

Tammy, the breakfast staff, was a bright
light, very positive and so hospitable. She deserves a raise!
The room was very Nice but missing the body wash bottle and shampoo was empty. House keeping needs to improve.

The hotel was incredibly clean, and the hotel staff was very courteous. Only disappointment was the lack of soap or shower gel in the bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic!
Carlos

Ronald
Easy access from the interstate. Well lit parking and clean grounds. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and very good.
lisa
Breakfast was fair. It may have been due to a staffing shortage that day. The eggs were good, but there was nothing else that was served warm that day. There was also nothing to drink except coffee that morning. Parking was nice and the location was very convenient.
Richard
Great
lauren
The room carpet had not been vacuumed, the TV and remote did not work, the couch/foldout bed was dirty. I was not impressed. It was not worth what we paid. The bed was ok, not bad. Just average. Hardly any staff on site. Had to go ask for linens to make up the foldout couch. We had a noisy neighbor above us stomping all night.
Hal
My only concern is rather small. The hotel was noisey. But there was a sports tournament. This is a college town. Hotel had many college lacrosse players. They acted just like I did when I was in college.
Megan
Bathroom wasn’t clean. There was hair from the prior guest in several places and stains on the walls.
Melinda
The AC worked great! So cold! Very good breakfast! They had fresh made cookies at check in too. Clean room and very comfy bed.
Charita
The property was clean & inviting! The location is perfect! Easy access to the interstate, restaurants & retail stores less than 5 minutes away. The staff was Great & Very friendly/helpful!

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s a solid choice. Breakfast could use some healthy items like fruit and yogurt but other than that, beds are comfy and it’s pretty quiet.
Rita
Bathroom and room not the cleanest, but I made it work for one night! Front desk staff (beautiful black young lady) was very nice and extremely helpful!
Patricia
The room could have been cleaner... My biggest problem is that I felt as if I was staying at a truck stop... and a place where construction workers stay. few just ordinary people.
Geena
Great!!
William
Musty, stale smell throughout the hotel.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Shower had an obvious crack in the base.
No hot water from shower in the morning.
Carpet in our room looked and smelled dirty.

Clean Room, Friendly Staff, Great Location
Tina
The building looked clean but the sheets had black lint on the sheets and the shower had a crack in the floor pan. It had a soft place in the shower. When you step around the spot it felt like you would fall. The room was big. People was friendly.
Judy
The staff was very courteous and the rooms was clean.
Paxton
STAFF!! Top Notch!!
Matthew
Staff was rude, room was not very clean and had a strange smell
Luke
Top notch service. Room was clean. Smooth stay
Kimberly
The guy who checked us in wasn't friendly. He seemed bothered we were there. The room smelled like mildew. Its supposed to be a vip hotel. It definitely wasn't. Ive stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion. This visit was very disappointing.
Donna
I chose this hotel because of the reviews but it was disappointing, before I got to my room I had to kill a roach in the hallway.
The breakfast was subpar, I left hungry.
They ran out of waffle mix, potatoes & sausage by 7:30. They did replace them but it took about 15 minutes.
I paid for my room thru Expedia and the clerk wanted my credit card which I gave him a different one for incidentals, it was also charged for the room then refunded and then charged again for the room. They said that Expedia did that and that it had nothing to do with them, they couldn’t help me with it and said for me to call Expedia. That whole situation didn’t make sense, hopefully I’ll be refunded.

honestly no the carpet was filthy just looked dirty and the tile has not been mopped in who knows how long. we brought a dog and his water bowl had dripped on the tile floor i cleaned it up with towel and it was black from the floor. also i dont know who does the lighting in this hotel but you can barely see in the mirror its so dim. and pillows are a joke. and the breakfast was terrible waffles taste like wheat brand very weird tecture and sausage i would let my dog eat.
Kimberly

Roger
Clean room. Staff was nice

Seems like a fairly new, clean hotel. Our room was nice and clean except for some stains on the carpet. Breakfast was just ok, the Hampton Inn down the road had a better breakfast. If you need a quick place to stay this is fine.
