It was a nice hotel. We got what we expected with a clean room and a hotel breakfast. They called 2x to verify that we were coming on the day of check in. That was a little annoying, especially because of the thick Middle Eastern accent of the person calling and the poor timing of the second call.

Room rate dispute. I booked early to guarantee availability. People who didn’t have a reservation were told the rate was $99 per night(+tax). My total for 3 nights was $561. I looked on Expedia and the total was $362. When I questioned it I was told it was because I booked early. I was eventually charged $392. In my opinion I should have been given the lowest rate on the day and not have to argue. As a senior on a fixed income it matters. Also, the room smelled like sweaty clothes. Even though it is convenient to something I enjoy doing occasionally and to downtown I will not stay there again.

The overall room was clean. There were no towels or wash clothes. I asked the manager for towels and wash clothes and she asked how many adults and children were staying in the room. I told her 2 adults and 2 children at what point she said she couldn’t give us 4 towels but she would give us what she had. She came out with 4 towels and 2 wash clothes. After looking at the towels and two wash clothes. The towels had a clump of hair on them and the wash clothe had several pubic hairs embedded in them(gross)! Definitely would recommend to carry your own towel and washcloths.

The room has a smell very strong like mildew or something similar, I asked to switch room and even they did the other room was very clean, the sheets and pillowcases smell and I can tell that wasn’t clean and fresh, I had never been in this brand hotel before and I don’t think I ever will, next time I will pay extra but be in a place that look and feel clean.

PATHETICALLY DISGUSTING
This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in I do believe. I have two special needs kids which is not easy to deal with in a hotel. we get up to the third floor to our room carrying our luggage, and there's an ironing board set up the TV is on and the beds unmade. We go back downstairs, they give us a different room and here I am, like I said with two kids that are teenagers who have the mentality of toddlers and are nonverbal. We get to our room and the TV is broken, there are lines going across the screen the colors are all messed up and half the normal stations, like Nickelodeon and Disney are in Spanish. TV is one of the things that helps me be able to travel in order to keep my children pacified in a small room. I told clerk, she said she has no idea how to fix it. Nor does she offer anything else. There's no handle on the closet door so you can't open it. The vent in the bathroom leaks on you while you're sitting on the toilet because the ceiling is rotted away and it's absolutely disgusting looking with mildew and gross stuff. There's mold and mildew all in the bathtub which looks like it's not been cleaned in ages. You can only get coffee in the room if you hold the button down the entire time. Water all in the fridge & doesn't get very cold. I tell them all of this & they're so unaccommodating to offer me a 20% off but I have to go through the website I booked it on to get it. I asked to speak to the manager/owner who never shows up even the next day,

The person in charge of breakfast was sitting in the dining area with either a video or music playing loud enough for all to hear. They didn't have anything on identifying themselves as part of the staff. We had no idea they worked there until they got up to stock the food. Coffee was absolutely disgusting. So dark even 3 creamers wouldn't change the color. We had to wait until we were back on the road for a decent cup of coffee. Breakfast provided was not good. The staff at front desk was friendly but did not present themselves very professionally.

Carpet needs a deep cleaning. When walking on it barefoot left feet black. Had to put a towel down to wipe off our feet before getting into bed or putting on shoes. Staff was terrible in assisting with check in. All staff could use some training in customer service and being attentive to customers.

Upon arrival, the gentleman who was behind the desk began checking us in but stopped to answer the phone. Instead of asking that person to hold so he could continue helping the person standing in front of him, he proceeding with whatever that person needed. Once we finally got checked in, he announced the room numbers, which you shouldn't do. I got to my room which smelled like smoke and the safety latch was very loose, so I went back downstairs and was assigned a new room. That one didn't smell but the carpet felt sticky and the shower was so grimy that you could see the streaks from where something was sprayed but never cleaned. The coffee maker in the room was missing The tray to put the coffee pod in but even if it had been there, the grime in the compartment where the water goes was so gross that I wouldn't have used it. The bed was comfortable so I guess that's good.

Door was broken & wouldn’t close right.. you had to lift it & push it. Mold all around the shower. The light bulbs were so dusty that we wouldn’t turn lights on because we know it can cause a fire. The elevator was broken. We had to carry our suitcases up the stairway to the second floor which is very difficult at our age. The breakfast room was filled with new chairs and mattresses (not sure if they were old or new). Our room smelled so bad but they wouldn't change my room because I booked with Hotels.com. I bought febreez and it didn't get rid of the smell. It was so bad. The hotel should closed its so bad. The man at the desk was no help. Staff should be available to carry suitcases for guests when elevator is broken. Guests should be able to change rooms for free when rooms are smelly and dirty.

My son and I were traveling from South Carolina to Louisiana when I got really sleepy and decided to cut our travel off on Saturday. I booked Comfort Inn last second as I was pulling off the exit. It was clean, the front desk lady was super sweet, and the bed was SUPER comfy. It was very quiet even to be right near the interstate. We slept the best sleep we’d had in weeks!
