Dirty, old... we were unable to find a working outlet to charge our phones, we had to disconnect the lamps and the fridge (which was really loud) to do so, and again DIRTY, the room had stains everywhere from the year that you want to ask... the towels were also full of stains and the cherry of the cake...

BUGS were on the beds... DO NOT RESERVE HERE!!!

When we checked in we made management aware that I had service dogs. Everything was fine, we checked in then we went to go to our room and the manager (David) saw my dogs and became very hostile! Then we had to move to two different rooms, we had no more than finally gotten checked into our third room.. then the cockroaches showed up! At this point as a disabled senior citizen (who was trying toto recover from his 17th surgery) not to mention, may the good Lord Almighty help you if you end up in the back building. You see, there are no sidewalks or any good way to get to the back to buildings. I could not in good conscience recommend anybody stay here! There are far better alternatives when spending your hard-earned money!

Fastfood and a gas station nearby. Lots of parking and for big trucks/trailers. The room was basic, but very hard used. Blankets and sheets were laundered but had stains and cigarette burns. Lights didnt work. Microwave was parked on a chair… shower was hot and had good water pressure though

The first room bed corner fell and had to move to another room. The second room heater went off early nite and would not come back on. Was so cold in there had to check out early morning. The hot water did not work and remained cold after running a while. Could not shower. When closing the bathroom door, it hit the toilet and could not close it.

The people in the room next to us had 2 full grown boxers that barked literally from the time we got there until we left. I called front desk within the first 5 minutes of barking and was told she didn’t have a room to move me to. There was a room about 3 down from ours that was open and about 6 across the parking lot. All she said was sorry 🙄

Room was awful. There was some sort of growth in the bathtub, not sure what it was but is was dark in color. Bathroom door would not close, tried to wash my hands and the sink knob came right off. We came down for the Auburn game. The hotel is OK. It probably needs a facelift for each room. Ours had water damage on the ceiling, oddly sticky floors, no shampoo ( soap only) , no coffee , an electrical outlet that didnt work and probably a few things Im missing.

This motel has a bug problem. I checked in around 8pm, left around 10pm to sleep in my car. Killed about 3 small roaches and a big fly before running out of bug spray. I immediately went to the store to buy more roach killer. The microwave had built up grime on the door and the fridge was not running cold. There were thick spider webs where the wall and ceiling meet. After I sprayed, another little roach came from under the bed. There was also a small dead bug on the top of the headboard. I felt like moving to another room wasn’t satisfactory; the entire motel is probably filthy. I ended up checking out early. Only positive was the front desk clerk and housekeeper were nice.

No electricity in our room. Maintenance found tripped breaker. Turned back bed covers finding stains, hair and grainy particles on spread. Dead bug on bathroom counter. Toilet had been used and not flushed. Front desk sent sheets up then the electricity went off again. We left. Never will trust this chain again even if it is a last resort as it was this time.

Both people I talked to at the front desk were very nice. The young lady I spoke to when I arrived allowed me to check in and recieve my room card early because I was at an event during normal check in time. So im quite thankful for not having to check in at 10pm when I returned. The bathroom door was not attached at the top hinge and you can see its been repaired several times. Someone tried to use drywall anchor sleeves to get the screws to hold. When I left I let the gentleman at the desk know and he said he would contact maintenence. All n all I paid for a place to sleep and I got that.

We booked a smoke free room but the place was overwhelming with old cigarette smell. The sheets were not clean. The smoke was so bad it burnt the inside of my nose. We checked out a day early at 9:00. We asked the motel to refund us and they told us to constact Hotel.com. We purchased a protection plan on out visit. We ask that we are refunded our night that we didn't stay. Thank you for you understanding.

Never Again!

I was so disgusted by this hotel. I don't know who is writing reviews saying this place is good but don't listen to it. I don't like writing negative reviews but this one demands it. From difficulty at check in to the room being gross. The bathroom towels were in terrible shape, one had a huge hole in it and they were stiff as boards. The faucet handle spun around, there was hair on the night side table, the beds looked as though they hadn't been recently slept in and pretty sure this was the case as the bed had sand in it. I almost slept in my car. I had to book this hotel as it was the only option left for a last minute stay on a game day at Auburn. Never Again!

If I could give this property a negative score I would. Here are a few things that were wrong: bathroom dirty, bathroom leaked and had to always wear shoes, old bar of soap behind nasty toilet, towels nasty and had to struggle to get a replacement washcloth, no plug for lamp on one of the side tables, bugs alive and dead everywhere, dirt piled up in corners, stunk. I have reached out to Motel 6 for rectification and have yet to get a resolution. We have stayed in rougher areas and had better rooms than this. This place should be an embarrassment to the Motel 6 chain.

I normal don’t complain but this was an exception!

I arrived to the hotel staff was friendly and quick. When I got to my room I was in disbelief, the beds had been made but the sheets were dirty, the toilet was nasty- had not been cleaned. I went down to talk to staff about it, she offered for them to come and clean it. I went back up because my daughter was waiting in me, we happen to open the fridge and almost threw up, and there was trash left from previous people. I went back down and asked for a refund, she offered another room. I declined.

I have never stayed in a property that was this bad. This place is disgusting. Traveler beware. This is NOT 3 STARS!!! This is not even a single star

After checking in, I went to Target and bought sheets, pillows, towels because the linens that were supplied by the hotel were stained and unfit for use. The towels looked like those at a car wash.
Where do I begin: The toilet didn’t flush, the bathroom door wasn’t operable, because the hinge had rotted out of the wood. Rust everywhere, truly a mistake to book this property. Management was incredulous that I should complain.

The front conference room has been converted into a dive bar/bingo hall so it’s very loud very late. We asked for and did not receive rooms next to each other. No coffee maker in the rooms. I had no shampoo or conditioner, okay that’s fine I brought my own. No soap of any kind. My AC unit would not turn on and they didn’t have other rooms 😩 it’s Alabama.
No pet fees which is why I choose motel 6s larger area for my pets to do their business and stretch their legs

Very unsafe location, lobby is 300 yards away from the rooms in a different building. A lot of cross traffic through parking lot due to adjacent road behind the motel. I was charged twice for the same room same night. American Express is disputing Quality Inns charge same address as Motel 6. I had two different transactions for the same stay. One from Expedia and one from Quality Inn. Called motel 6 location Monday morning and was given toll free number. Owner said he couldn’t authorize refunds. NEVER again

the front of the motel is very run down to the point where i drive past it thinking it was shut down the room was ok but the blinds were broken the mini was broken the toilet was leaking water and one of the staff members went into my room and stole some of my clothes out my bag while i was out i tired to talk to the manager she was no help i asked to talk to someone above her she didn’t want to comply and ended up calling the head maid she told me she cleaned my room for two of the three days i was staying i told her i had took my bag out the room so another incident didn’t happen

When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the floor had not been swept or mopped. Dirt was all over the floor and look like it had not been mopped for quite a while so then I went to use the bathroom and shower and there was only one towel and one washcloth we booked the weekend for two guest so there should’ve been more than just one of each. I had to ask the front desk for a broom so I could sweep the broom was filthy itself, but I used it anyway at checkout time we were taking all of our things to the vehicle. We were walking on the walkway to the vehicle, and my fiancé slipped and took a hard fall on the concrete. We noticed that he slipped because they had just painted. They had no wet paint signs out. They did not block off the walkway and I notified the manager, the manager made a phone call asking the person why did they put out wet paint signs and why did they not block off the walkway. He asked if he was OK I said no I’m having to take him to the emergency room and he didn’t say anything else. There was no comment from the manager. I called the next date as for incident report he said he made a internal r report and did not know how to give it to me. I will be requesting the money back for our stay.

I know it’s a Motel 6 but for what I paid for this room was really not worth it, lady at the desk was rude and barely knew any English and looked confused about everything. They did not replace towels or toilet paper, I had to walk to the front office and get those items from them at 9pm at night. The refrigerator did not work (wasn’t cold at all)
The water pressure and temperature was awful. Don’t pay $300 for a weekend stay here, you’ll regret it, plus it’s in crack town.

I made a noise complaint after not being able to sleep for nearly two nights in a row. Said they would call them to tell them to be quiet. I NEVER heard their phone ring. And I could hear EVERYTHING from those next to me. It was NONSTOP loud yelling/laughing day and night. They were OBVIOUSLY smoking marijuana it smelled SO strong in my room. And I have asthma. I told them I wanted a NO SMOKING room at check in due to this. When I went to the desk saying I wanted to leave (over 3 hours after complaining of it all) she said “oh I just called them to ask them to be quiet” As I was walking to the front desk a house keeper walked up there with me and said before I could even say anything “she wants to check out because those people next door and how loud they are” and even said they had been getting constant complaints about them. So why would they room someone next to them?!? They obviously had TONS of other rooms open. I understand I chose a cheaper hotel and I can deal with ALOT but WOW it was so bad. My bathroom toilet leaked allll around the ring anytime I flushed. There was bullet hole in my window/curtains even. I barely got an apology at check out and when I said I wanted to go they wouldn’t stop trying to get me to choose a different room. Absolute WORST stay I have EVER had. And I travel ALOT. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The motel was clean, but upon arrival, the attendant at the front desk, after my reservation had been made at 11 am, either couldn't find my reservation or didn't know how to find my reservation. Not only that, because he couldn't find it, called me a liar and also threatened to call the police and have me removed from the premises. I showed him all of my booking information along with my receipts from hotels.com and he still didn't put the information in. I have been booking with hotels.com for a long time and never had this problem. I stayed alone that night and was in bed at 8pm and the front attendant sent someone and woke me up complaining about a noise complaint about a party. It really made my stay very uncomfortable. Not only did they not have my room that i reservated, he charged me 4 more dollars, and retried to recharge my card for the entire room over again. This was not my first time staying there, but probably will consider it lightly before staying there again.

The cable wires for the tv was run around the room and not hidden just laying around everywhere. The front door had to be slammed to shut and everytime you did made a loud squeaking sound. Repairs are Needed ASAP --I Will Not Return Ever

The housekeeping staff, when I checked in, was the highlight of this stay. Kim, the housekeeper, came quickly to change the sheets on my bed as they were dirty upon arrival. I did not witness any bugs...this was a plus. There was mold on the ceiling and the bathroom area had hairs all around it and feces around the toilet. This was gross and should have been handled prior to me arriving.

I will never return to his hotel as it is not clean and needs updates and a better cleaning system. The entire hotel needs to be renovated as it appears to be in need of major repairs.

This place was filthy. The woman checking me in offered me a smoking room despite the reservation being non-smoking. When I told her that I would require non-smoking for my young daughter with asthma, she said ok, but the room still reeked of smoke. We walked past a “fitness room” that was just storage full of broken furniture and electronics. The cleanliness of the room was laughable. The sink still had a toothpaste glob from the previous guest in it, and the bottoms of our feet were BLACK after walking barefoot across the floor. It was disgusting.

I emailed about the weekend of this that this was the worst experience of our lives and HOTELS.com should never route their cust's to this place. I never got a reply or anything. Silence speaks volumes - especially to those who do not often make complaints. You should be embarrassed and ashamed you sent me and my family to this place. This place was absolutely nasty. smoke alarm had no power to it at all. Shower did not work & curtain rod would not even stay attached correctly to keep water in. My kids were literally afraid to sit their stuff on the beds much less themselves. We had to book & pay a higher rate b/c \"they were booked\" and the \"demand\" - There were 4 other cars in the parking lot and I literally only saw 6 other people on the grounds. We were there less than a half hour before I had to call another motel and go there to stay the night. Owner/mgr refused to refund us. Offered another room - NO THANK YOU. So then I had to pay another 440 to go somewhere else that had higher rates due to demand and booking. 700 out of my pocket b/c I trusted Hotels.com would not steer me and my family to anything remotely like this. Shame on you.

The place was dirty but that wasn't the worst part. There was a man sized hole behind the bathroom mirror leading into the next room. There were soup packets between the rooms and a toothbrush. When I called the front desk to report the \"secret room\" I was told I could only get a partial refund or a different room. I took the other room that wasn't much cleaner. While putting our luggage in the room we were approached for drugs and/or sex. The room adjacent from us had what appeared to be a gun shot in the window. We decided to take our belongings with us for the day before returning the second night. They had stripped our room meaning they went in while we were out. We baracaded the door and slept with one eye open. I have photos to share.

Would not recommend to anyone. Very dirty & old hotel. Cheep, thin towels, electrical outlets exposed, shower leaked, had loose tiles and mold on ceiling, floors were filthy, definitely did not walk around bare footed, only on side of the bed could the night lite be plugged in because the cords would not reach outlets, and so much more was wrong.
We would have checked ourselves out right away but it was a prepay deal of $475 for 2 nights and all hotels were already full around us due to being a football weekend.
Worse hotel we have ever stayed in!!!

We stayed here for Auburn homecoming when no other place was available, thinking, “well, it might not be luxurious, but it certainly will be clean.” Nope. It was disgusting. The place was run-down and dirty. The room was filthy — there was actual dirt and hair (yeah, that kind) all over the bathroom floor. No doubt It hasn’t seen a mopping in a year. There was stuff on the toilet seat. The floor of the shower was crusty yellow. And I am hardly a near freak. We chose to just drive home rather than stay there.
