Staff were friendly and the room was clean. It had a musty smell, though. The toilet took a long time to flush and the tub had a drip. The WiFi was tough to access, especially to watch the TV-I couldn’t get it to work. Wouldn’t stay again.

Very limited parking. Helpful staff. Not at all impressed with the room. Toilet didn't flush right. Not sure room was sanitized. One bed had been partially unsafe and the other looked like someone had laid against the pillows. They offered to change rooms, but it was late and I was exhausted after trying to park out moving van (chose this place because it said it had truck parking, nope). I asked for clean sheets, we covered the beds and slept for a few hours before getting back in the road.

The staff was courteous and the lobby was clean. There is free parking. Great location to sites.

The hotel has no elevators, and the hallway carpet was visibly dirty. Our first room had an unpleasant odor. The front desk kindly moved us to another room, and offered us cleaning supplies to clean it ourselves. After driving hours through a Tropical Storm with six hours of travel ahead, and it was the middle of the night, so we stayed.

The second room had stained bedding, hair in the bathtub, and a rusted toilet. We stripped the bed and used our own blankets, and I cleaned the bathtub myself. The sink, counter, and towels appeared clean.

A few hours later, my daughters and I woke up congested. We suspected the air conditioner or the odor, which smelled like mold or mildew, may have been the cause. Within a few days of returning home, we all developed colds, and I now have a respiratory infection. While I cannot say the hotel caused our illnesses, the conditions were concerning.

I chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced, so I was not expecting luxury. However, I did expect clean, sanitary accommodations. Because of the condition of our room, I didn't feel comfortable eating the complimentary breakfast other than a yogurt.

I encourage management to replace the hallway carpet, ensure ALL bedding is cleaned between guests, and inspect the property for any mold or mildew issues. Investing in cleanliness is less costly than potential health complaints or liability.

We booked this hotel room for my daughter’s graduation from Auburn. I paid astronomical for this room. It typically rents for a ridiculous amount less a night. The room was dirty especially the shower with hair and mildew. It had an odd odor. We went to Walmart and bought our own sheets and comforter because we were not about to sleep on their linens. The swimming pool was half full of dirty water and upon closer inspection we found a shopping cart in the pool. The fact that I paid such a rate for this room infuriates me. Price gouging for a graduation is shameful.

The mini fridge was making a loud humming noise. The room was clean and spacious which was a plus. The front desk worker was very nice. I will never stay here again! I didnt get much sleep!

Was good I liked the TVdesk set up. Everything worked but the bed was a little concerning it moved around a lot with little movement but it was big and comfy. The bathroom where good but the room we had the tub was stained? And the faucet dripped so we just kept the door shut.

The building is very old and run down. I did see a few small bugs in the bathroom. This hotel needs to be demolished and rebuilt. No amount of patchwork is gonna make this place any better. I’m not picky but I will never stay here again and I probably won’t stay at any other Quality Inn for that matter. Lesson learned.

Breakfast options were fine. They had the basics; bagels, muffins, cereal, waffles, muffins, sausage bisuits, and orange/apple juice. The room was clean and the staff were vere friendly. I would stay again. The pool was not available for use. It looked as if it hadn't been used for quite a while. Parking was tight. If you have multiple guests with cars, that could be an issue. It was quiet and convenient.

Not what a modern hotel should be

There is no way this hotel should receive 3 or more stars. It is poorly constructed and remodeled, the AC sounded like a concrete mixer at a construction site, the bathroom looked like it was remodeled with leftover items found at a demolished hotel and the place was dark and gloomy. It had a bed and a toilet, so i guess it was technically a hotel, but a prison has the same ameniities.

The stairs were all chipped, the ceilings were cracking and there was a large leak in the ceiling at the front door. All the hall lights were hanging down, and the bathroom door was punched in and broken at the bottom. The tub was nasty. We did not stay and just took the loss. Don’t stay here.

This place has to do better! For one, a roach greeted me upon arrival in my room, our air didn’t work, very muggy in the room, next door to Waffle House, very noisy! Upon arrival, speedy check in...no problem. From the looks of the lobby I figured it was updated. We soon found out there was no elevator...took the stairs which are outside. The stairs were littered with cigarette butts and men sitting there smoking. The hall smelled like weed and I'm guessing the things over the doors with the cords looping down were the wifi boxes, ghetto but ok cool. The room was pretty clean, bed comfy, a/c blowed cold all night.. nothing to watch on the channels they provide but the wifi was pretty good. Old school tub/shower but I did appreciate the flooring and no carpet. The breakfast was totally wack, no spread for bagels, no protein, coffee was watery and OJ tasted weird. GOOD NEWS, Waffle House is next door! PONKO is nearby and had really awesome chicken...overall it was ok for overnight but definitely not my style for extended stay.

There were several issues and the price for the quality is excessive. Check-in and check-out was adequate. The room smelled like marijuana and cigarette smoke. There were several areas of damage within the room. The last night of the stay there were several guests that were very loud from 11pm-2am that prevented sleep and we left earlier than expected. Breakfast is not appropriate for those with food allergies.The key card failed to work routinely and required multiple visits to the front desk that did not resolve the issue.

NOT A LOT OF QUALITY IN THIS STAY

This is an older property that has not been particularly well cared for. My room was furnished with what looked like worn out college dorm furniture, lights were missing shades, the sink was cracked and in need of repair, the shower floor was not clean, the television did not work and for the amount of money charged for an overnight stay this is not a good option. The owners need to take a hard look at their operation.

Definitely not the nicest place for a $200/night stay. The sink in the bathroom didnt drain properly, there was fuzz on the pull out couch like it hadnt been vacuumed or cleaned in any way, the hallway floor had holes in it underneath the carpet that could be felt while walking.

The whole building is vaguely reminiscent of a cardboard box with duct tape securing it all together. Just not a comfortable feeling.

Awful place to stay.

When I entered the first room I was given, the bed had bags of dirty linen on top with a substance that resembled semen on the bare mattress. The room was extremely dirty. Garbage bins filled with trash and towels all over the floor. I let the front desk know that he had given me a dirty room. He gave the a second room. I opened the door and was hit with a strong smell of marijuana. I could not even enter the room because the stench was so heavy. I checked out immediately and went to another hotel up the street. By the way, this hotel does NOT have an elevator. If you are on another floor you will have to carry all of your stuff up the stairs. The place is a dump and needs to be shut down.

The room was extremely plain without color without decorations without many lightbulbs for the lamps Dingy shades Pillows were awful. The lobby was full of boxes and the hallway near my room also many boxes stacked up to the ceiling. The side door seemed assessable to people outside because it did not latch. Therefore, I did not feel safe.
. I will not stay here again. There was a bug in my sink. That made me question if there were more around I wanted to check out of the room, but was too tired to find another place to stay

Clean. Under renovation which we didn’t know before booking. New furniture and furnishings in boxes in hallways. Room was very sparse - bed, coffee table, new desk unit, minifridge, microwave, old loveseat w stains. New flooring and paint. Bed was new, but hard. No odors. Bathroom fixtures needed work and lights were the old ones. (The new ones were probably in the boxes in the lobby). No bugs!

Courtesy call received at 7 pm to confirm a late check in. Polite reception. No lobby other than check in desk. Minimal breakfast area - only 2 tables. Wouldn't work in a game day weekend. Laundry room right off breakfast area so smells from laundry were in lobby.

Lower priced but not lowest. Location was OK. Near interstate, not town. A good place to sleep if passing thru. Next door waffle house.

My stay at Quality Inn on College Street Auburn was not satisfactory. I was first placed in a smoking room, but apparently my preferences on Hotels.com had smoking as a preference. After enduring one night with a smoke and a heater that did not work, I adked to be moved. The second room had no smoke smell and the heater worker, however, the hot water did not ever get hot.

Average to less than average hotel. Had to make last minute reservations due to a death in the family and this was the cheapest availability on a home football weekend. The price was easily double what it would have been out of season. The room was just ok. Bed was reasonably comfortable but the couch was not useable. Shower curtain rod was broken in the bathroom. The provided shampoo, conditioner, etc was partially used. Being right by the highway and a very busy road, it was very noisy. Make sure you bring ear plugs if you stay here. I would not choose this hotel for a leisure stay.

It was convenient to food places and a bed to sleep in. One headboard had a bit of dust we cleaned it and there was a spitball on the bathroom wall. The bath tub was not fully cleaned, we just wiped it all with clorox wipes. Over all if you need a place to just sleep a night its perfect. If long term stay maybe choose somewhere else.

We had an awful experience at this stay. At first arrival our fire alarm was beeping as the battery was dead. We were moved to a room right next to it where we could still hear the noise all night. The smell is not worth the savings

When you first walked in the room there was a very strong musty odor from the old AC unit that was displeasing. We wanted to put drinks in the mini fridge but the smell that came from inside was one of the worst things I have smelt even though it was clean. We didn't use it because we couldn't stand the smell when you opened the door. While the rooms were repainted, they really need a full renovation to complete with the other hotels in the area. If I had known I would have been giving up so much to save just a little then I would have payed the little bit extra and gotten a different hotel.

Went to Auburn with child hood friend to attend football game being homecoming weekend prices for rooms where triple asking price than norma and this being one of them.All I can say is this location is not even worth the normal asking price, don’t know if from what I seen that this place is under new management if so they need to do a better job of getting this building together Floor tile was broken throughout building, floors from the lobby up to the rooms where uneven making the room and bathroom door difficult to close. Don’t know about the rest of the rooms but ours was halfway clean, had trash, hair and dirt build up in the corners of the bathroom and the room itself, vent hanging halfway from bathroom ceiling. Continental breakfast was less than expected could have at least offered bananas and some type of meat to eat with the only waffle item they offered. Needless to say if I could do it all over again and new the condition of this place I would just get a room an hour out if needed be and saved my money and made the drive. I understand it’s a college town so I wasn’t expecting much, but not doing the basic cleaning of rooms for customers is a major no go for me and I wouldn’t suggest this location to anyone I know if visiting Auburn.
