The problem I had was that the room we had was all the to the end of the hall. My husband has to have oxygen to carry around so that was a long walk. Could park close to the back but our card would not open the back door.

We didn’t get the room we reserved. Had gotten a non smoking room and it smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was disgusting, so dirty that we had to buy our own cleaning supplies, bed sheets and towels.
The room key didn’t work so every day we had to get it rekeyed.

Every thing is tired and dirty. Staff sleeping in the lobby or sitting outside smoking. Some staff not very pleasant. Room needed the floors swept and washed, new bedding, walls patched and painted and the lobby is disgusting. Wouldn’t stay there or recommend it.

The property was pretty decent, for the price. The room came with a kitchenette, which was very useful. The bed was kind of comfortable. Not the best I’ve ever slept in, but not the worst. But, again, for the price, the room was very adequate. I’d stay there again.

The staff was more than friendly. We didn't check in until midnight and the front clerk was very friendly even at that hour. Other than that, it was a very disappointing stay considering the price I had to pay since it was a football weekend. This property has the potential to be a very nice hotel. Nice location, but the hotel is in desperate need of a thorough cleaning, inside and outside. Apparently there are long term contractors staying there which were out in the parking lot at midnight working on their cars and drinking beer. They were friendly and I never felt threaten but in the morning there were beer bottles all over the parking lot. The room had a GREAT air conditioner, but in the morning when you start looking around you could tell that the cleanliness of the room was not good. The A/C vent discharge was horrible. The bathroom shower had long term leak that had caused mold which had not been touched in many months. The bathroom door would not close. Opened the curtains and the dust around the window was thick.

Did not intent on selecting/booking a smoking room. Another nonsmoking room available but cable not working. Bedding had holes in it. The door was open when I entered the room. Door did not shut not lock appropriately. Not enough pillows.
I did like the kitchen feature but not appropriate for my stay.

When we checked into our room there were live cockroaches and several other live bugs throughout the room. When I told the front desk attendant he didn't seem the least bit surprised or disgusted. He ended up moving us to another room which didn't have visible live bugs in it. If I had another option I would have left the hotel. My daughter refused to stay due to the lack of cleanliness and chose to sleep in our car versus stay in the hotel. This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in and I travel to hotels frequently.

Kitchen cabinets were dirty, live roaches, curtain was hanging off the rail, no window screen but you could open window, moldy shower curtain, no toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion), only 2 crappy bath towels, hand towels & wash cloths, carpet on both stairwells were stained and filthy with debris, bed sheets looked clean but with the lack of cleanliness, I slept fully dressed.

One night stay for a football weekend. The place is a low cost long stay motel, which is undergoing renovations. It should be better once they finish. Overall it’s ok, we didn’t see anything dirty or gross in our room. The room was clean enough. Fulfilled the goal of not paying $350 for a similar place closer to campus.

It is a ok place to lay your head. It had a coffee pot in the room but no cups to use for coffee (only plastic & that doesn't go well with hot coffee). Mostly clean & the staff was nice. They are doing some remodeling so this time it smelled of paint but not too bad. Overall it's convenient & decent.

This place was the most disgusting place I have ever seen. The carpet down the main hallway was absolutely filthy: covered in stains and what looked like carpet powder that had been sprinkled on and never vacuumed up.

We checked in after the posted check-in time, but the room they sent us to had not been cleaned, and the "non-smoking" room reeked of cigarettes. The staff gladly offered us another room, but when we got in there, though it had been cleaned, it smelled of stale fried chicken. It was, quite frankly, vomitous. We immediately checked out and found another hotel.

The room was filthy, the refrigerator was disgusting with dried and caked on food. The bathroom fixture was dangling from the wall, there was hair visible in the shower drain and I discovered a roach on the shower wall. Other lodgers smoked in their nonsmoking rooms repeatedly and the stomping, door slamming and commotion from other rooms disturbed me several times.

I had a hard time finding a room for this particular day so I ended up at the motel 6. What the heck, how bad could it be? The whole floor smelled of cigarette smoke, there were burns in the comforter and actual ashes on the window sill. The door latch was broken off and the bolt would not close. The key card still worked and the door seemed to be secure so I stayed. Unfortunately it was what I expected.

Probably the Worst Hotel in Alabama

Do not stay here. We booked 2 rooms. First of all, Hotels.com does not tell you that this hotel has smoking rooms. The room smelled like a dumpster. The only thing housekeeping does is provide towels that are of questionable cleanliness because there was trash left in the room when we arrived. Stains on the walls. Messages written in permanent marker on the mirror. Stains and holes in the carpet. Stains on the furniture. We had also asked for one of our rooms to have two beds. When we arrived, the person at the front desk said all double rooms had been given out. When I protested, it was like he no longer understood English. I then asked for a roll out bed instead. He said he had one, but it had been promised out. By this time I felt like I was on some reality show getting punked. The room I put my mother in had the smoke detector in pieces on the table (evidently after housekeeping had cleared the room). Maybe I should report this to the local fire marshal? Front desk said we could come down and get a battery, hey - thanks for that! So I had to do hotel maintenance and put the smoke detector back together then mount it back to the wall - no big deal, but not something you expect to have to do after paying $250 for this dump. One of the rooms had a bathroom light that was out, making the room dark. To top it all off, as we were leaving from the 3rd floor, the elevator broke. I will be demanding a refund from Hotels.com

The roach motel,that includes people

I stayed for 4 nights. The maid service came through the first day but didn't make the bed. That was the last of the maid service. I asked the manager what was up the 2nd day and she said the second maid didn't come in, so she went back to watching her movie. I had to ask for fresh towels each day and I put the garbage out in the hall by the elevator. I got the feeling I was the wrong color because the maid skipped me and went to the next several rooms. There are dirty people living there and a lot of pot smoking in the lot. I haven't been there for 3 years. Back then it was cheap, a bit old, but clean. Not anymore. The box spring cover was dirty and torn and looked like it came from an alley. The last day I went into the bathroom and watched a roach scuttle back under the door jam. Never again and I strongly suggest going elsewhere. I can only imagine bed bugs next.

The first room we were given had cob webs all over the walls, the bed had multipe cigarette burns all over on both beds, the carpets had the worst stains I've ever seen and the room door didn't close without a lot effort. The next room was bigger and less dirty but it had stains and burns on the couch and bedding and beds along with missing an iron and ironing board. Also I found the back entrance door propped open because the key card system didn't work.

I booked this room at the last min for Christmas and was pleased with the price at the time. I had stayed there before so I kn ow the good and bad of the hotel. For example, no breakfast, but there is a huddle house right in front of the hotel. The room was clean but it had a strong smoke smell, which had been masked with a chemical spray. I was on the first floor in a no smoking room. Also, I killed a large roach in the bathroom the same day that I checked in. Overall, good room for the price.

A very “eh” place to stay

The workers who were doing housekeeping were talking and cussing really loud on our hallway (3rd floor) we heard everything they were saying and it was not cute and very ghetto. The top 2 blankets were dirty so we only used the sheets. Plus the tv remote and other appliances were either dirty or did not work well. We probably will not come back to this hotel.

Pretty run down.

This place is fine for a night but if you had to stay for an extended stay, like it's set up for, bring your own pillows. The room was pretty run down overall. The blanket was obviously old with cigarette burns (doesn't make it feel clean even if it was) and the towels were thin and rough. But most of all, I wished I had my own pillow. There were 2 pillows on the bed that were pancake thin. I had to fold one in half to even feel like I had one and took the cushion out of the chair to have something to prop up in bed with because the pillow couldn't handle it.

Spend the extra money to stay somewhere else

I stayed in this hotel when it was brand new several years ago and it was nice. However, things have changed and not in a good way. We checked into our room and there were several small holes in the wall, the comforter on one of the beds was shredded, the bottom side of one of the beds had what looked like dried blood on it. We didn't have any other choices on places to stay or we would've left. My wife went to Target and bought 2 blankets, and we pulled all the bed covers off and put them in the floor and slept on the blankets that she bought on the bed. The entire hotel needs some major cleaning done. People would be willing to pay more for something cleaner. We won't stay here again. It's worth it to pay a little more for something cleaner and nicer.

wth, no one at desk for 15 minutes.

terrible, hair in my tub hair on my bed stains in the chairs and the shower was calcium covered. CLR is a great product people use it shower sprayed everywhere except the shower lol. and 70 stay lodge is 45 thats what it looked like. cheap and cheesy trashy and across from the courthouse and next to tiger town u would think it would be 10x better for that price. I hate germs . eeeewww stink bugs flying around the room and the elevator and stairs all on one end of the hall but if it catches fire what about the people at the other end NO EXIT. CAN U SAY RAT TRAP ONE WAY IN AND ONE WAY OUT.

I had stayed at this property a few years ago while I was in town for a football game. That experience was great. The room was clean, the parking lot was clean, and it smelled good. This time, unfortunately, things were very different. I had trouble with the key card not working when I arrived and they tried to re-code it, but that didn't work. An employee came to check the lock and, instead of letting me in the room with his master key (which did work), he asked me to stay outside in the hallway (It was hot in the hallway) while he went to get another battery for the lock. Changing the battery worked and I was finally able to get in my room and cool off. The room was dirty with hair on the side of the bathtub, dirt in the corners of the room, there was a tiny pom-pom on the floor that looked like it came off of a costume, the plug for the bathtub was in the bottom of the bathtub, and the hallways smelled like smoke. There were hardly any dishes or pots and pans in the room and only 1 coffee cup. When I took my dogs out for a walk later, the parking lot was dirty with trash in several places and had broken glass in several places. I notified the front desk clerk of broken glass at the back of the hotel by the pool and also of the ash tray that someone had dumped on the sidewalk near the front door. He didn't seem to care. I did not use the pool, but it looked to be clean. All in all, our stay was very disappointing and I would not recommend this property.

Overall the staff was very friendly & it was mostly clean. The area is great & it was fine for the $. There were a few places on the door (by the kitchen) that was dirty (something spilled down the door), on the wall in the kitchen & under the window. The major problem we had was the bed....it was EXTREMELY hard & the pillows were VERY VERY thin....I mean maybe a inch thick. I'm glad I only had to stay one night because I couldn't have slept on the bed again....both of our backs were killing us the next morning.

The man behind the desk, Bippin, was incredibly rude. He did not greet us at all. The first thing he uttered was "What are you doing here?"

I told him I had a reservation and he replied, "No, you don't, not here." I did. And I had the confirmation # as well as the email saying the room was already paid for.

Had to basically walk him through what it means to be hospitable in the hospitality industry (duh?!) and what a confirmation through hotels.com meant and suggested he call the manager b/c he was terrible and unwilling to do his job. He eventually gave us a key and a handmade receipt for less than what I actually paid (I paid $82 or so dollars and he wrote $65.00).

When we were checking in the women at the desk was so rude. Told us most of the rooms were not ready (after 3:00, check in time). Acted like we were bothering her, after all, we did get her off a personal phone call. Told her we had asked for two rooms close together. She told us she was doing her best to find us rooms close. Rooms were dirty. Do not furnish shampoo. Blow dryer did not work. Soap was so small, wash your face and it was gone.

close to Auburn Univ--about a 10 min drive, adjacent to TigerTown-a large shopping center district, easy access off I-85, clean rooms with full size fridge and mini-kitchen. firm mattresses--not the most comfortable. Older TV--not the clearest picture off cable--did not appear to be High def picture. Overall a safe pick for a night driving/visting thru the Auburn area.

We stay here every year for Auburn's Aday game. Very quite rooms. Very nice employees and management. Reasonable price. I do think the mattresses need to be replaced. But, other than that its a nice place to stay and Huddle House is next door. We will be back in the future. The area is great for shopping, dining out and bowling etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room was very nice and comfortable, location was good, all services were close by. Complaint was the " live in " guest were very loud, well into the night, didn't stop till close midnight, almost had to call to front desk to complain. Would stay again if I needed.

Convenient to Auburn University

The bed were a bit hard, pillows were way to small and very flat, but for a 1 night stay with full size fridge, 2 burner stove, and dishes in the room, it worked for us.

Need an exterminator

The room and decor was very dated for a motel that I know to be not that bad. My mother had a bug jumped off the headboard onto her arm. My niece had a spider on her in the middle of the night. The beds were not comfortable at all!

Game Day

It is what it is. All they had was a smoking room, knew that going in. There was a burn hole in both bedspreads and about an inch and a half burn hole in a blanket on one bed. Only needed it to sleep and I refuse to spend $300 for other hotels just because it's game day.

Hotel looks nice when you get there lobby looks nice room was clean but the bed felt like I was sleeping on the floor

Good location, dirty room

Shopping and dining very close and the building does not appear to be in disrepair. However when you get to the room, you notice the walls have liquid dried on them, the doors are caked with dirt and dust, the carpet is visibly soiled, and the blanket on the bed had hairs on it. The smell was heavily deodorized, apparently to cover up the smell of filth.

Full kitchen was nice but we just needed a bed...

On the surface it was a nice room with two double beds and a small kitchen. The bathroom was adequate, but there was not much water pressure in the shower, and you have to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. You can't even buy any there. The staff was friendly.
