Comfortable for the 3 of us and accessible to the monorail to airport and the subway system.
I wish there could have been more space for our luggage but that's because we brought medium-sized ones for the items, gifts, and souvenirs that we bought.
We thought the air-conditioning was not working but we were told that only the heater works. The staff brought an electric fan right away and we cracked the window open. Problem solved. Eco-friendly accommodation. Helpful and polite staff. We also like the restaurant recommendations and the map on the wall especially for us who are first time visitors.
We will stay in this hotel again when we're in Tokyo.

the bad thing is it's central AC, so during colder season when we went there, the central heater was on which is a bit too hot for us. the front desk did inform us about this and let us know that we can keep the window open which we did. The downside is, there is bar nearby so might be a bit noisier for some people. We had no problem with it though, if anything I find it kinds of cool you get to see / hear locals enjoying their time.
Location wise it's pretty great, it's about 5-10 minutes walk from 2 station. The main station we use a lot was the Hamamatsucho station one which was 2 stops away from the Tokyo Station using the JR line. So if your travel involved around going these area, this would be a convenient place.

I have stayed at this hotel before. The staff are very attentive and the rooms are nice. It's a bonus to be able to open the window in the room. A wonderful selection of restaurants almost on the doorstep. There is a Family mart convenience store attached to the hotel so any small items are available 24 hours.

This place is situated close to Metro and Jr lines. It was easy to get around town and even to the airport. Monorail only took 30 min to Haneda airport. There are coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Staff was amazing and always greeted you as you walked in. There is also a Family mart attached to the building which was great!

Overall it’s a decent place to stay for two nights. Check in was smooth and the customer service was very nice. The property is easy walking distance from Hamamatsucho station and many restaurants. The areas requiring improvements is the cleanliness of the mattress pad - I found many long hairs and some yellow stains. It’s obvious this is is not cleaned regularly. The building itself is dated but adequate. It’s ok for a short trip.

It was very convenient to all the places we planned including Yokohama and there are a few lines that we can choose from. There are many eateries around but can be quite crowded at times especially during weekdays. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the room can be improved though.

Lovely stay at Meitetsu Inn Hamamatsucho
I stayed at Meitetsu Inn Hamamatsucho for two nights. The hotel is located next to great transport and there are a handful of small restaurants in the area for lunch or dinner. As a solo female traveller, I felt comfortable walking from the train to the hotel at night. My room was clean and comfortable. The curtains kept out the light out in the very early morning so I was able to get sleep. For a single room, the bed was bigger than expected. There were extra pillows and pyjamas available. The front desk staff were courtesy and detail-oriented. One gentleman noticed I needed an umbrella and lent me one from the hotel which was much appreciated. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay of 1 night. The room was a little small but comfort, clean and safe. Price was higher than normal hotel but it could be due to new year's day. It is near Odaiba and Asakusa. The staff were friendly and able to speak English.

Good stay, very convenient from the train stations and no shortage of food nearby. We always had our morning coffee at the Byron Bay cafe nearby before starting our day. Rooms were a little small for 2 pax.. it was difficult to open up both our luggages at once but it serves the purpose of giving us a good sleep and refreshing shower. All basic necessities are provided, place was quiet but a little stuffy due to centralised conditioning so we opened our windows to allow some cold air in for ventilation. It will be great if more pillows can be provided and also, we checked if the counter staff can help us make a restaurant reservation but we were rejected on that request.. The staff said they don’t provide such services which my husband and I felt was extremely strange... hence the less than optimal rating. Will consider staying here again nonetheless due to the convenience and cleanliness, hope the service can be improved slightly to accommodate guests’ simple requests like making a restaurant reservation moving forward..

The hotel is in the business district and in a kind of sketchy area. It's a tiny hotel and I've had single cruise cabins that were bigger than that room! I have a bad back and requested a third pillow, I was told no. They said guests get only get two pillows each. That was weird to say the least. They weren't very friendly, there was no where to eat nearby so the convenient store, family mart is all you have. Get used to eating sandwiches for breakfast. It was not a comfortable room,It was awkward at best, the bed was horrible so for five nights I didn't sleep. I think at this point I'm almost ready to collapse I'm so exhausted. I would not stay there again and whoever gave it a great rating needs to reevaluate where they stayed

Meitetsu Inn Hamamatsucho has a great location. Just a few minutes walk to the train station (including JR Yamanote line). There’s also an Ippudo Ramen shop just a few steps away and a Family Mart right on the first floor next to the lobby. Hotel guests even get a discount at FM which is cool. Can’t get enough of the egg salad sandwich!

Location is fine. Arrived 7am and can only leave luggage there. Staff is OK. Just it is very mean for bottled water. I took 1 bottle after walking from train station to leave luggage in the morning. When I went back 3pm to check-in room, they rejected my request for 1 more water. This period of time is very hot outside. But on the other hand, I think they change bedsheets everyday, which is not really necessary if I am out all day and be back only after dinner. No signs saying I can choose to change every 2/3 days.

My go-to place in Tokyo
I stay here whenever I'm in Tokyo (for solo travel). Convenient location (esp for Haneda arrival), lots of public transport options, lots of dining options. Rooms are clean, quiet. Wifi connections from the room are good. \"Konbini\" store on the ground floor for that 3am hunger attack while jet lagged. Only drawback is that the rooms are pretty small, but that's pretty standard for this type of \"business hotel\".

This hotel is very basic. While it was clean, the rooms were very small, none of the people at the desk spoke English and they were not that helpful. To stay later than 10 am (check out time) they charged 1000 yen (about $10)/hour. There is no restaurant, but there is a convenience store downstairs. The neighborhood has lots of RESTUARANTS, but mostly they are very small and noisy and SMOKY!

Our room was so small that we had to put the dehumidifier outside in the hallway so we could get in and out of the bed. Our first suitcase had to be kept up on the desk and our second one on the suitcase stand. One of us would have to move to one side to allow the other to pass by. No closet only a rod on the wall. Shower had lovely pressure but it was very difficult to get into it as it had very high sides (higher than normal) on the bathtub. As we have both had knee surgery this was a daunting task. When we went to the front desk to try to get a bigger room (they said ours was a double room!!!!) there were no other rooms available. So yes, we were totaling disappointed even though everything was very clean. Size for two middle aged people is important. The bed had to be pushed against the wall which meant my husband had to crawl from the bottom of the bed and up. Crawling over his backpack at the bottom of the bed which was the only place to store it.

Nice hotel in Tokyo located 5 min walk to the monorail terminal for Haneda airport. nice conveneient store in the building and may restaurants around. My only complaint is that our room was pretty warm and the air conditioning was off for the whole hotel.

Overall the staff was very nice, rooms were clean and the local was very close to Zojoji Temple and Tokyo Tower. Only down side was the beds were very uncomfortable.

This is a new hotel with modern rooms. Location was fine, but not well signed as on a little back street. Convenient to JR and Subway lines, Tokyo Bay and places to eat. Plenty of good places to eat as well. Staff were fine and service was fine. We had an issue with the toilet and staff were quick to help. Beds were very comfortable and we had a good night of sleep.

The room and washroom look new and clean, the bed was decent as well. However, like most Tokyo rooms, it is very small. The shower caps are not included in the toiletries they replenish daily, so you will have to get them from the reception. There is not much to do in the area except for an Ippudo and another ramen place close by.

I can't rate this hotel highly enough. I was concerned as this was my first time in Japan but they were far better than any UK budget hotel chain. There is normally someone on the desk who speaks English and they are totally professional. Room changes daily with nice little touches in the room. The room was small but that shouldn't matter because you're only there to sleep. But the service was excellent. The staff were always very attentive and responsive and always ready to attend to any needs or questions you might have. But the best part about the hotel is it's location. The hotel's location made it easy to get to almost anywhere within tokyo and that to me was the best part about the hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights before flying back from Haneda to London. The hotel is very well situated if you are looking to travel in the south and east of Tokyo. The hotel room was very well equipped and although it was \"compact\" it was not too small - ideal for a short stay 2-3 days.
The hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful and polite like all Japanese hotel staff. The only down side was that they did not provide any breakfast but there is a convenience store literally next door.

I picked the hotel as it was close to the monorail to Haneda airport and that worked fine. I didn't want to stay at a airport hotel. Just a one night stay and I arrived early but could leave my bags. Staff were friendly and helpful.
