Fantastic and quiet location, a short walk to several subway station lines, and close to the Tokyo Tower. Easy to get to from Haneda airport to because you hop on the monorail at the airport and there is a direct express train to the JR station close to the hotel (about 8 min walk). Property was very clean, staff was helpful, and the rooms had everything we needed including comfortable beds and toiletries. A bonus was that there are both a Family Mart and 7-11 within the same block!

Really liked the hotel decor, quiet area, really easy to walk to main streets or a station to get you where you need to be. Pleasant just to explore the area. Rooms were clean, tidy and just what we needed for family of four. Laundry was offered, but fairly busy and needed to do laundry at odd times. Would recommend to anyone.

This is a terrific hotel by any measure, but we were particularly delighted as newcomers and first time visitors to Japan. Although conveniently located, the hotel is on a very quiet street. The staff are very friendly and warm and delightfully attentive. The breakfast is generous and offers a wide selection. There are lots of common rooms located throughout the hotel, for those who are recovering from jet lag and awake at odd hours. We loved it here and we will be sure to come back again.

The room was small but clean and well organized. We actually really enjoyed the reading lounges so we could rest our legs and relax in between morning and evening activities. The book selection was great. I didn't expect to enjoy it this much.
The staff was amazing! So welcoming and eager to help: from the moment we arrived, helping us with our luggage, they never missed an occasion to make our stay more comfortable.

Everything was great apart from the laundry facilities. The dry cycle does not work so you are left with lots of damp clothes and it takes about 3 hrs a load.

Must add that staff is excellent! Akimoto especially was so helpful with our luggage transfer issues and went to the extent to offer storage at the hotel to help us.

stayed in a Deluxe King and it was a spacious room by Japan/ Tokyo standards. The bathroom was decent size, bed was comfortable and overall very clean and efficient. I didn't use their breakfasts service since I wanted to experience other a available options in the city.

The neighborhood is quiet , nice and clean ( Minato is considered an upscale neighborhood). But has metro stations within minutes walking distance.

Overall I am satisfied with my choice.

One of the reasons I chose The Shiba Park Hotel was because of the breakfast reviews and it surpassed my expectations. Such variety that it’s difficult to choose. And everything is fresh and delicious.

Room was very cute and spacious. The beds were one of the comfiest we stayed in (most beds in Tokyo were hard). Everything was spotless and as soon as you stepped in the hotel it smelled great. The library was amazing and I could get lost there for hours. And all of the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

What a great hotel. The staff are lovely and so helpful. It has a quality feel to it, slightly quirky with the library theme ( a huge Christmas tree made of books for eg), Our only niggle was that the pillows were too hard for us - and it only occurred to us on the third morning (check-out day) that if we had asked they would almost certainly have changed them for us. Other than that the bed was very comfortable (and huge). Thanks all at Shiba Park.

The room was a good size for a single with a king size bed. The breakfast had options of food, both Japanese and Western. Each floor has its own water dispenser. Loved the library theme of the hotel. Staff was very helpful from check-in to check-out. Location was convenient to the Tokyo Tower 🗼. There was a laundry room on 4th floor (didn’t use it since I was at the beginning of my trip). Only down side was distance to train station was at least 10 min walk away, which is far after a day of walking.

Immaculate room, comfortable beds and pillows; exquisite library of books to browse; lovely bathroom products (all bamboo), including products for a mini facial; joined in a wonderful walking tour organised by hotel (free, led by a local volunteer); easy 5 min walk to major metro lines; convenience stores very close; gluten free bread and separate toaster available on breakfast buffet, and top allergens listed for all foods (note that while wheat is specifically identified, other sources of gluten such as rye and barley are not). Breakfast was delightfully presented, quantities on display were smaller than usual , emphasising pleasure in eating and health rather than excess consumption (but food was still plentiful ) . Enjoyed breakfast sparkling wine !

The skincare packages in the bathroom are one of the best we’ve tried. Free juice and complementary sake/wine with a simple survey are great. We booked a Deluxe King room and emailed in advance to ask whether early check-in before 3pm would be possible, as we were arriving on Sat morning from London. We were told this was not possible and instead advised to book an additional night for the day before arrival so we could go straight to our room. We therefore booked a Standard King for the extra night.

We arrived at 9:30am and were told breakfast was closing, so we were unable to eat after a 14-hour flight with an infant. We were then informed we would need to check out of the Standard King room by 11am (after barely an hour in the room) in order to move to the Deluxe King for the remainder of our stay. With little choice, we showered and left, assuming we would return for the 3pm check-in. As we were leaving, we were told our Deluxe King room was already ready, meaning we had unnecessarily paid around £200 for the extra night. As our first impression of Japan, this was disappointing.

The rest of the stay was pleasant. The Deluxe King room was lovely, clean, well stocked, and we appreciated the facial cleansing reusables. The location and neighbourhood were excellent.

After returning to the UK, we noticed an additional charge of JPY 8,490 (£42.44). If this was a city tax, it was not clearly communicated. We were told at checkout that everything was settled, and we did not use the minibar or cause any damage.

With a more human and flexible approach, and clearer communication, we would have rated our stay higher.

Spotless rooms and very friendly staff, this hotel is on the older side but very well maintained. It shows a lot of class with the decor and the way guests are treated.
The family room with 2 twin beds and extra single bed is great for our party of 3 adults 1 kid. The laundry service on the 4th floor is also very convenient, can get a little crowded at times.
We see a lot of western travelers staying here, including other families with young kids.
Breakfast can be improved, the selection is pretty good but none of the food items are very memorable or impressive, as compared to some other Japanese hotel’s breakfast service.

We loved our stay! Great location in Minato City & a short walking distance to Tokyo Tower. We loved our morning and afternoon walks that led to the Tower. The room is very clean and spacious enough for 2 people. Bed and pillows are comfortable. I loved the face skincare amenities. They made my face within 1 night feel refreshed & smooth. We enjoyed the Tea Ceremony at the lobby. Beautiful lobby with so many books to read! Staff was great, — easy and very quick check in and check out.

The only 2 things that wished were better: the first one is: the Laundry — I washed the clothes at the 2-hour cycle, but the clothes did not wash properly or felt fresh and the second one is that the bathroom doesn’t have a ventilation while showering.— It did not bother us, but the room windows can get a bit soggy afterwards. Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone. Will definitely be coming back.

My wife has been to Japan 2-3 times a year, for the last 35 years. What really stood out for her was the level of service here. The staff is truly remarkable. I have never experienced the efficiency and moreover the courtesy that we received from Shiba Park Hotel in all of my years of travel.

We will be booking here on any future travel to Tokyo.

We booked Shiba Park Hotel for 4 nights during our stay in Tokyo and I wish we had stayed there for longer. It is a great hotel located in a quiet and leafy part of the city. The lounge area is beautiful and comfortable, the hotel staff are very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are also very comfortable and large which is not always the case with some hotels in Tokyo. We had a very pleasant stay and would love to stay there again.

Fabulous hotel in a fabulous location! We loved everything about this place. Accessible to many subway lines and the JR Yamanote line as well. A quiet and walkable area away from other more hectic areas of Tokyo. Everything about this hotel was superb. This will be my go to hotel when I return to Japan! Btw—check out Fukki Ramen just a 5 min walk from the hotel. We ate there multiple times because it was that GOOD! The only negative would be that washer/dryer never fully dried our clothes. Otherwise it’s the perfect place!

Great location, 5min walk to train station & lots of convenience stores, shops and dining close by. Hotel was beautiful and clean and staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The minute we arrived they helped with our bags and our room was already available at 10am! Our room was also super clean, comfy and unique with a bunk bed and a seating area. My son loved the snacks they provided in the lobby. My only complaint is that there is a laundry room on the 4th floor but really hard to snag an empty one since there are only 2 and clothes don't dry very well. I ended up having to walk to a laundry mat 8min away. Other than that, I would definitely stay again!!
