the location is excellent as it is just 15 min from Tokyo Tower and with excellent transportation with JR & Metro station within a min walk and the nearby Monorail to Haneda Airport is extremely convenient.

The hotel is clean and the breakfast is good. Yes, we love the fancy machine in room which can dry and refresh your cloths.

Convenient location for our last two nights in Japan was our requirement, and Henn na Hotel was perfect for that. On a direct line from Tokyo station and steps away from the monorail to the airport. Walking distance to Hama-Rikyu Onshi-teien and Kyu-Shibarikyu Onshi-teien gardens, Tokyo Tower, shopping, and dining. Small but clean and efficient rooms. To cap it off, it is the famous and quintessentially Japanese robot hotel with animatronic reception desk.

The hotel room very small for the price I paid. Check in and check out easy with the machines. BathTub a bit of dirty. The mattress way too hard and harsh for my back. Couldn’t sleep through the night. Close to subway station and very convenient to other area. Dryer machine only blow cool air so your clothes can’t dry.

We very much enjoyed our stay! It was difficult to tell in photos before booking the true size of the room, which was very small (typical for Tokyo hotels so not too much of a surprise!)
So overall, 5 stars for the stay, 3 stars for the information ahead of time knowing exactly what you’re booking.

The room was adequately sized with excellent facilities. The staff kept the room clean, and plenty of free amenities were available.

The hotel was within walking distance of a great train hub for convenient access to anywhere you need to go. The area is relatively international, so you can still get around if you are not proficient with Japanese.

Unusual hotel with robots at checkin and precious few human staff working largely behund the scenes. Clean rooms but very small, even by Japanese standards. Close to Hamamatsucho and Daimon stations, with direct service to Haneda via the Tokyo Monorail. Easy access to Yamanote line and a few stops from Tokyo Shinkansen. Breakfast available at attached ramen shop, with conbini and other restaurants within easy walking distance.

Hotel in an amazing position with two train stations nearby. The thing I did not like about the hotel was there was nobody at the front desk and therefore it felt unwelcoming. The two robots are there for show and if you need help, which I did aa everything is in Japanese, I had to use the phone in the foyer for assistance. They come from behind reception. I never saw one live person at all in the reception area except for when I called them. The room was clean with a wonderful view of Tokyo Tower but it was very small. There was a refrigerator size apparatus in the room which apparently washed clothes and or de-creased them. No matter how I tried it would not work for me. There were no television channels in English either. I was there for three nights and would have liked to have listened and watched something in English. The lift worked well and they were many restaurants nearby including one in the hotel where breakfast is served but it seemed to be run privately and not by the hotel at night. I had the best french fries I’ve ever tried there. I feel the best thing about this hotel was proximity to the train stations which I used every day as well as coming to and from Haneda airport on the monorail.

Clean , new bldg, perfect location, only 3 mín from Metro, 7-eleven and nori nori French bakery coffee and Byron Bay gourmet coffee only few steps away from the hotel. So many restaurants on the main street . Check in and check out are so easy ơn computer , there are staff inside office if you need help just pick up the black phone in lobby.

Was fine but won't book again.

It was clean and served its purpose.

We had booked because we needed one night stay before heading to Kyoto the next day, and I had heard fun things about the robots. My first disappointment was there no robot dinosaurs at this location, but it was two robot people. Check in did not go smoothly and we had to ring for a staff member who showed up immediately and was able to help us, so we didn't even interact with the robots. The staff member was able to help us right away, he was wonderful.

But other than that, it was an okay stay. The room was clean, and moderately comfortable. For just a single night stay it was fine. I've stayed in business style hotels in Japan before and knew the rooms are on the small size, but this was definitely the smallest room I've stayed in.

Ultimately, I won't likely book at this hotel or chain again because for the price there are many options in Tokyo that are going to be more comfortable, and the main draw was the quirky robots, and they were a bit of a disappointment.

Excellence Service and attention to detail. Although front desk is managed by robits, staff responded to inquiries quickly, attentively, and patiently. Email responses are extremely fast. Staff managed to recover an inconspicuous lost item and held items for a week. Great experience with both the staff and our stay.

We loved the location of this property. It was very clean and the breakfast was awesome! However, the rooms are VERY small. So that's something to consider. Perhaps if it wasn't so rainy (which led us to going back to the hotel sooner daily) and if all we had to do was sleep & shower in the room, it wouldn't have been so bad.For ref- we only had 1 - 24\" suitcase per person (2 total) and still did not have enough space to move comfortably. No closet/storage space at all. We booked a double room with the beautiful Tokyo Tower view, which was the only saving grace of this room.

We enjoyed the space in the standard twin room and also the natural light from the 2 large windows. The only downside was that the shower head in the bathroom was leaking. We only stayed one night so that was fine. The area around the hotel was quiet and safe. It was also close to a supermarket and restaurants which was great.

Great hotel for first time trip to Tokyo

It was our first time in Tokyo and Henn na hotel is great! Check in and check out is super easy on automated screens with multiple languages available. Room was clean and fit our open luggages plus many shopping bags. Beautiful view of the Tokyo tower as well!

Hamamatsucho is definitely a business district so less touristy and quieter— which was sometimes nice after the hustle of the busy places we visited during the day. Super close to the train station.

Overall a satisfactory experience. Booked for two at the tokyo room for a week and the room is quite small, which I've heard is normal for hotels around Tokyo. The view of Tokyo Tower was beautiful, not sure if it makes up for the small space.

Check in/ check out was easy and had english options. There are no reception staff (two robots), but there are staff available when necessary.

Hotel is in a nice, quiet area, close to convenience stores, restaurants, and multiple train lines. It is also close to the Yamato shipping service for transferring luggage.

The hotel itself is advertised as having a view of Tokyo Tower, which is true. However if you are not on the top floor of the hotel the view itself is heavily obstructed. If youre looking to find a reasonably priced view of Tokyo Tower you are better off choosing another hotel or finding a building with an observation floor, otherwise the room was quite nice, the bath is above average size, and there were a few washers and dryers on the property.

This hotel needs some updating. The room layout was horrible compared to other compact Tokyo hotel rooms and everything in the rooms and hotel is old. It is close to the station but there is hardly anything to eat or do in the area besides Tokyo tower. The WiFi was also very slow and the laundry machines are old. Pay a little more to stay somewhere nicer and more convenient.

Is a small hotel but super small. Is a decent facility if you want to explore tokyo. Great view of the tower and close to plenty of food restaurants , the train station, parks And temples ypu would like to visit . Dont expect it to be a big hotel room. Is small but convenient for the price they charge .

Generally this is a good business hotel. The room is very small and as others have said it is difficult to open your luggage. One solution would be to take the necessary items from your suitcase then store the suitcase on the 2nd floor.

I really loved this hotel! The room is small which is pretty standard across Tokyo but there are so many areas to conveniently place your shopping bags and luggage (including an area under the bed). They let you store your luggage on the day of your arrival and departure which is very convenient. The staff were all very nice and the room and common areas were clean. Not all the staff speak English but it was easy for me to learn a few phrases for what I needed or to use Google Translate. I did laundry in the coin laundry machine while I was there. I recommend spending a bit more for a room with a view of Tokyo tower - it was spectacular to look at every morning and night. The hotel is conveniently located near two subway stations (one which goes to Haneda Airport very easily), a convenience store, grocery store, and pharmacy. If you are using Yamato Transport to send your luggage to the airport, there is a convenient drop off location 2 minutes away. The subway lines take you to spots like the Ueno Zoo, shopping in Akihabara, or dining in Ginza in under 30 minutes, although it was a bit further to get to Shibuya or Shinjuku. You can walk to the Tokyo Tower in about 20 minutes. The wifi was very fast and reliable. Overall, I definitely recommend!

I booked this hotel last minute for an extended trip. The self check-in process was a little tricky since you had to start it on your phone but was definitely worth it.
There’s a lot of food options in the area as well as connected to the hotel (I didn’t get a chance to try it).
The room itself was very nice and clean, perfect for a solo traveler or business trips.

The hotel is very unique with a self-service concept. There are unmanned robots behind the counter for entertainment. There is staff onsite for various services such as “meet and greets” for special rooms like the Tokyo Tower room. There are restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance and the neighborhood is quiet. It’s a great hotel for short stays. The only thing we didn’t enjoy were the beds because they were very firm and uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel with a family of 3. We stayed at the top floor with wonderful view of the Tokyo Tower. It came with a very large ensuite with dedicated shower room as well. The hotel was close to many major train lines including the versatile JR Yamamoto line. The checkin and checkout with the robot concierge were quite smooth and easy as well. We would stay again on our next trip to Tokyo.

Although the mannequins at the front desk are eyebrow raising - if you have questions or need any assistance, someone will come out to help. Very conveniently located especially if you are flying into Haneda Airport. For 492 JY, the airport monorail will take you directly to Hamamatsucho Station (aka Daimon Station). For Japanese hotel rooms, they are surprizingly pretty spacious.Convenience store and pharmacy at the end of the block. quite a few eateries close by including one in the lobby. Same day luggage storage area available.

The hotel was beautiful, decorated really well and laid out perfectly.
The air con was amazing, exactly what was needed in such heat.
After some reviews said the rooms were very small, I was surprised to find that the room was very spacious, with plenty of room for my suitcase and belongings.
The bathroom was amazing! The shower and the bath were excellent!
The bed was very hard but it turned out to be very comfortable. The pillow was not good. It was like a half-size beanbag and it made all my ear piercings hurt.

Unfortunately the room was very dirty. There was thick dust in all the corners and edges, the desk needed a thorough cleaning in all the edges too.

Hotel is well located with access to 3 different subway lines, and also monorail to/from the Haneda airport within 25 mins. Many shops and restaurants around.
