The lounge on the 38th floor was a great, with a fabulous breakfast and happy-hour selections. The rooms and lounge provided a great view of the city. Location was incredibly convenient with easy access to multiple subway routes from the bottom of the hotel.

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at this hotel. The view from my room on the 35th floor was fantastic - all rooms are above the 25th floor. Location near Shimbashi Station is excellent; there's plenty of dining, drinking and shopping options around the station. And the Shiodome area is full of modern urban architecture for fans of that sort of thing.

If you are looking for a place thats more quiet and further from the crowds this is the best location.

The rooms are great, breakfast buffet is great, and its conveniently next to a train station.

Laundry room is super easy to use and no need to buy extra detergents to use either.

2nd time staying here and will definitely be booking for my next trip to japan.

This is a great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room size is average, but everything in the room is well placed so it doesn’t feel cramped. The bathroom and room was very clean. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. The only thing I think they could improve is make the shower curtain rod curved so the curtain doesn’t keep hitting you when you shower.

朝食のビフェットで小皿の多い日本食にトレーがなくてテーブルに運ぶのが不便だったのでグランドスタッフに頼んでトレーを特別に貸してもらいました。ビフェットにはトレーがないと不便だと思います。
部屋がコンパクトで大きなスーツケースの開け閉めがかなり大変だった。
バスルームのシャワーヘッドの水圧が強くて気持ち良かったです。
お部屋から景色が素敵でした。

Wonderful hotel and staff. Very good location, close to the station, food options, and short walk to Ginza. The view from the Tokyo Tower view room was outstanding, with Mt Fuji also visible in the background some days. We appreciated the helpful and friendly staff, especially the night team who assisted with our companion's medical concern one night. Highly recommend and will definitely have this hotel on top of our list for our next trip.

Our stay at the Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. We stayed in a Premium Room with lounge access, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations in every way.

The room was beautifully designed, incredibly spacious by Tokyo standards, and offered stunning city views that made every morning and evening feel special. The attention to detail, comfort of the bed, and overall cleanliness were flawless.

The executive lounge was one of the highlights of our stay. The service was warm, attentive, and professional throughout, with an excellent selection of drinks, cocktails, and beautifully presented food during cocktail hour and breakfast. It created such a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere after busy days exploring Tokyo.

The hotel’s location in Shiodome was also perfect — connected conveniently to transit while still feeling calm and upscale. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued.

Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome truly delivered a luxury experience with impeccable hospitality. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo looking for comfort, elegance, and outstanding service.

Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and I want to stay here again. The only problem I had was finding it at first from the station, and it was further away from attractions I liked. But transit and walking was close enough. It was so clean. Staff was so helpful. It had everything I needed and more. They held my luggage on my last day as I explored Tokyo one more time. I was sad to leave. The bar had a great view and the cafe below made it easy to start my day with a smoothie or coffee. The convenience store underground was also very useful for returning after long days on my feet. It was nice to grab a drink and snack before heading up to my room for the evening. I will be coming back

So I booked this hotel (presently staying in) after reviews averaging 4.2 about the decor, ambiance, staff and amenities. I must say I'm rather disappointed with some of these which I'll expand upon below:

First - the shower head - leaking in both functions of jet and shower leading to a reduction of pressure (raised issue with Bell captain and he could only have the issue looked at the following day without option of room change, mind you it was flagged before 4pm).

Second - flooring/carpeted areas, there are as you can see from the attached photo areas of carpet experiencing significant fatigue/fading.

Third - Noise the level of internal noise stemming from hydraulics, water, waste and neighboring guests is atrocious for a hotel of such \"rapport\".

The staff present themselves in a professional and courteous manner that does not correlate to the quality or lack thereof of the rooms within this property, they too deserve a hotel that fits the way in which they present themselves (impeccably).
If you're looking to stay near Ginza, Shiodome, Shinagawa or Tokyo station this isn't the place.

Upon check-in, I was charged an additional ¥21,000 for having two guests instead of one. While I understand this may be hotel policy, there was no price difference shown during booking whether I selected one or two guests, which made the charge feel unexpected. We have never encountered this issue elsewhere while travelling.

When we entered the room, it was noticeably dirty. There was hair in the shower and throughout the bathroom, surfaces had not been cleaned properly, and there was visible dust around the room.

The final issue was the luggage delivery service. We were travelling as three separate parties with different bookings. Our friends used the app, while the staff member assisting us said he could process ours manually. Unfortunately, he entered the wrong arrival date. As a result, our friends’ luggage arrived at the next hotel on time, while ours was held back until the incorrect date he had written down.

From start to finish, the experience was extremely disappointing, especially as first-time visitors to Tokyo. I have never written a hotel review before, but this stay left us frustrated enough that I felt it was necessary.

😔 No bell hops to assist with luggage at entrance. No smiles at check in. No appreciation of guest; we were invisible. So-so breakfast. Basement dungeon gym.
Very clean tiny room. Dark hotel without any personality, charm or grace.
Located in a large complex, over a subway entrance, several restaurants in neighboring malls, interesting Panasonic Museum and quite fun Miyazaki-designed large copper clock with active parts.
Next time, different hotel.

The staffs in the bar were not helpful at all. We are vegetarians. We could hardly found any food for vegetarians in the bar. They were not keen on making a vegetarian pizza. Most of the time they don’t understand English. We had to use Google translate.
Generally the staffs in restaurants are not user friendly. The food options provided wouldn’t welcome vegetarians/ vegans.

The hotel room was tiny, hardly any space to manoeuvre.
The property is clean overall but some rooms emits bad odours. We got our room changed.
The bell boys are helpful.

Transportation:
The hotel is in a convenient location. Easier to get to two train stations that connects to many areas. Taxi is available from the bottom of the hotel within the same building makes it very convenient to travel around.
Overall:
Location: excellent
Restaurants: good for non-vegetarians;
Not good for Vegetarians but options available nearby.
Staff helpfulness: mixed

I asked him to recommend a good Japanese whisky and expected he might suggest the most expensive option, but instead he recommended one of the more affordable choices on the menu—and it turned out to be excellent.

Lovely room on the executive level with the benefit of lounge use. Perfect location with a station on the lower level.
Breakfast was very good with fresh made omelets. Staff was wonderful! The only suggestion would be to make the evening lounge cocktail hours for Adults Only. There were far too many children allowed in the area at times. Parents apparently could not understand the printed rules regarding children being quiet and not permitted to run around. Fortunately we had several evenings that were childless and peaceful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return. Highly recommend this hotel!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Royal Park Shiodome for 10 days. I stayed in the single bedroom which provided enough space for only just me. The room was perfect as I had no issues with space. If you bring a large suitcase I’d say there isn’t much space to lay it down completely flat but that’s wasn’t a problem. The hotel amenities had everything you need without leaving. The breakfast buffet was awesome and the dining through was a good experience.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
