We arrived 21st and checked out the 22nd, we requested our luggage be shipped to our next hotel the 22nd at 9AM and supplied the staff with our itinerary as well. Something must have gotten mixed up and our bags were not shipped until the next day, so we arrived at the next hotel without any of our luggage.

The hotel itself is very conveniently located beside Shimbashi station and walking distance to Ginza. It’s across many restaurants and shops, though if you don’t enjoy night life you don’t want to pass by the area as there are a lot of soliciting for host bars and maid cafes.

They also have a coffee machine and variety of tea bags for you to enjoy on 2nd floor which is the lobby, though I wish they had some area where customers could sit and eat as a staff member didn’t allow me to have a cake that I brought in when I asked.
Other than that the room was cozy as many other hotels in Tokyo is like. It was perfect for solo travel or business travel.
The breakfast was good with many selections. The ladies working in the restaurant work too hard it gets a bit intimidating and very fast paced. Don’t really expect to sit and relax to eat. It’s more of a grab your bites and leave vibe.

This is a well run hotel. Japanese are the master at space efficiency. While the room may be small it is very well laid out. There are a lot of amenities the hotel provides, either in your room or in the lobby. The bathroom, while small, was clean and there was no mold anywhere. The breakfast was delicious. In such a small space, they have setup a buffet with many Japanese food dishes, although i will say they like their scrambled eggs a bit runny. Numerous restaurants are nearby and 2 different metro stations are within walking distance. Will definitely stay again.
Side note: Easiest way to get to Daiwa Roynet Hotel from Narita Airport is the Airport Limo bus to Dai-Ichi hotel. The Daiwa Roynet Hotel is located just behind Dai-Ichi.

Really well located hotel for transport connections in the lively juxtaposition of Shimbashi and Ginza. Despitereally well located, the rooms, being consistent with the rest of Tokyo, are compact, but are also very quiet. I frequently visit Tokyo for business, and I'm going to make this my default hotel from now on.

When I book this hotel via Expedia for one adult and two children (11 and 14 years old), it clearly says it provides addional bedding to my child. But when I arrived the hotel, there was only one double bed provided in a tiny room, which has no room to allow 1 adult and 2 children to sleep. I talked to the receiption, they refused to upgrade us for free. At the end, I have to pay for additional room for that night, which ended up cost me more than double of my original booking fee.

Stayed at Standard Double room for two people. Bad stuff first. The room is impossibly small. Not sure but the bed seems to be a bit shorter than the U.S. size. If you taller than 6’1” I’d reconsider. Your feet will not be on the bed. The mattress is a bit on the cheap side. Not too different than your typical howard Jonson’s variety. Also. You need to give them your passport at the check in (both the lead traveller and companion). No exception. They also make a copy of them. I dont like people making compies of my passport. So be aware. The room is impossibly small. We don’t have a place to open our check in size luggage. That’s how small. The bathroom is also small and the ceiling is super low. It is almost claustrophobic. Lastly the cleaning is done only once per three days. On the good side, the hotel is 4 mins walk from the metro. Super clean. The breakfast buffet edible for the price and hotel provides many personal grooming amenities if you forgot some. next time I’d get something that has just a smidgen more square footage.

I booked two rooms through Hotels.com – one for two people and one for three people – at different prices. However, when I checked in, I was given two rooms for two people each. I booked the breakfast and was given vouchers at check-in to be used each morning. It was very easy and the selection was good, though different to a typical breakfast spread I’m used to - lots of savoury options but toast and cereal were available.
The room was clean and you have options for the level of housekeeping you want. The only problems with house keeping I had was finding a clump of hair just under the bed (when I dropped something that rolled under) and that by the end of my stay had a collection of towels and toiletries I didn’t need (they had been left when I requested no housekeeping).
The hotel is conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from a metro and rail station and with the entrance in a quiet street but easy walking distance to several convenience stores, shops and restaurants. If you’re in the mood to walk it, Tokyo Station, the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Tower are about 30 minutes away, or 10 minutes on the metro.

Everything is amazing in this hotel! The only concern, especially if you come to Tokyo by metro and carry some luggage, is that you have to walk for a few minutes in the metro station to get to the closest exit of this hotel. And there is no escalator in that exit.

My stay here was fantastic. Great location next to Shimbashi station. There are numerous restaurants of every type close by. Several convenience stores right next door. There is a large Seims 1 block over. Everything is very walkable from the hotel.

This is a budget hotel conveniently located in Shinbashi. Staff is very polite and helpful. Altough room sizes are bit small but this is what we get in budget hotel. Train station in 5 mins walk and Taxis are available just around the hotel.. The hotel is behind the Daiichi Hotel, close to the Shinbashi train station. The receptionists are very accomodating, personnable and helpful. The only negative point is the very limited room space. We can barely move around without bumping into each other. Otherwise.overall experience has been positive. The breakfast buffet has good varieties and was delicious. Close to the main points of Ginza - almost walkable everywhere.

Great Hotel. Close to train station while still being in a quiet area. Room size was typical for Tokyo. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Amazing amenity bar (toothbrushes, tea/coffee, facial serums, bath salts, etc.) Breakfast buffet was small but perfectly adequate and had plenty of Japanese and western options. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to help us with our luggage shipping. Overall great stay and one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip.
