The layout and design is terrible. All lockers are on 2nd floor and this area is busy 24/7. There is only one slow and busy lift/elevator so the logistics of staying here are really bad and very in-Japanese like. On the plus side cleanliness was good. Most capsules have laundry. This did not. Overall a terrible place and I will not stay here again.

The place was in good condition and staff were quick to check me in. I’m disappointed that there are no laundry facilities even thought the website stated there were at the time of booking. The mattress was too thin and hard. I have stayed in a lot better capsules than this. Please make improvements.

The locker will not fit the standard carryon unless it's soft and you can smash it in, but there are places under the locker to place it. I felt very safe there, I got restful sleep, the facilities were clean, the staff was nice, I think it's a great way to save money if you are arriving from the flight to Japan late, a uniquely Japanese experience!

Positives- super convenient area for transportation really easy to get around. Awesome view of Tokyo tower from the lounge and balcony. Reasonably comfy beds with sheets changed daily. Separate floors for male and female. Safe and good for solo travelers.

Downsides- can’t access your locker or bed between 11-3. No soap or any way to dry your hands in bathroom. Lockers are quite small would be an issue for larger luggage. A bit more dingy than expected. (Instagram vs reality!). Noisy in the capsules especially when people wake up early.

Overall decent for the price and excellent if you plan on being out most of the time!

This capsule hotel was no fuss, it provided all amenities required for a safe and comfortable stay. The capsule was surprisingly spacious, the location was great for public transport. The place did great in separation for male and female guests, providing clearly defined floors for each, with lifts for each gender not going to the opposite floors.

This is a budget friendly hotel, guests know they have to share communal washroom. The guests really need to be reminded to clean up after themselves. Perhaps more reminders up on the washroom/toilet cubicles and shower cubicles.

Otherwise, great capsule hotel experience and lovely staff, always really helpful.

Probably the most comfortable capsule hotel you’ll find. Only nitpick is that there’s no stairs, but that’s probably ok since you might not want to climb 10 flights of stairs at midnight. Plus there’s a banger view of Tokyo tower at the top.

I stayed here for a two-day trip to Tokyo. Women have separate floors and the female showers were only accessible after moving to a secure area with your QR access code, which made me feel very safe. The capsules are very big and surprisingly comfy, and the facilities are very clean with drinks and extra amenities on sale at the reception desk. The showers were very clean but needed some paint - there was rust on a few on the doors. The only other downside is you don't pick your capsule in advance, so there's no way to know what capsule you're assigned (top or bottom) until you get to your floor. If you're staying multiple days, you're required to leave from 11 am-3 pm for daily cleaning - you can go to the lounge or go out for sightseeing. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Tokyo Tower and is close to many restaurants and Hamamatsucho JR station and the Haneda Airport monorail. This is a good place if you are traveling solo and/or need an affordable central place to stay in Tokyo.

The pod was very nice and spacious. I could fully sit up in it. They provide all the basic amenities for hygiene and provide pajamas. Strange thing happen on checkout. I arrived at 2:59, and front desk said we have to wait till 3pm so waited a minute then they checked us in very quickly and effortlessly. Just thought it was strange to tell us to wait until the clock struck exactly 3pm. Otherwise everything was ok. The sleep was a bit tough as there was a very very loud snorer on the same floor. The bed feels like a futon so if you are used to that then works well.

The elevator!!!!!! One elevator for the men’s floor and no option to take the stairs. I stayed here for two nights and I spent so much time waiting for that elevator. Waiting for it to go up….and to go down. Will not stay here again.

Great location. Epic View. The top floor lounge was very beautiful. Pro tip: make sure you don't forget anything, long elevator waits, bring your beverage, there is no vending machine or microwave, no washroom.
the beds are great. Wish the air purifier system was stronger, summer sweats from others can be a bit much to bare. Wish staff would force some guess to put their back packs in their locker during their walk through, that may help with smell.
as with any capsule beds, it can feel there is lack of air circulating inside. I have my handheld fan to supplement.
The washrooms on the capsule floors have no soap. not because it was empty, it wasn't implemented. This is common for pre 2000 mindset for washrooms in Japan. Just didn't expect it here.
I would still highly recommend this capsule overall.

Easily walkable from Hamamatsucho Station, and the location's ease of getting to the other stations on the Yamanote Line made it worth it to stay. There are also a good variety of restaurants to choose from that are very close.

I've been to a few 9h locations in Tokyo now and this was one of my less preferred ones, for a few reasons. But honestly, it was just fine, at a good price, so would probably go there again.

The pros compared to other 9hours: I liked that the bathrooms were right off the rooms, which is different than some other places. Good location close to transit.

Some inconveniences compared to other places: the rooms (in my case), lockers, and showers were all on different floors. The locker area was VERY tight so people were navigating around each other awkwardly for much of the time. The room door didn't have a quiet closing mechanism so it was quite disruptive to sleep with people going in and out. I wish the bathrooms had hand soap! The showers are great but some of the shower heads were not working properly.

It’s a capsule hotel so you need to understand that certain things are strict there such as you are not allowed to bring a suitcase to the capsule which is actually a good thing for the quietness. They provide you with towels, Pyjamas, soap, shampoo, hairdryer, earplugs etc. the area is very central. It’s packed full in the mornings and evenings in the showers area.

It was quite busy and crowded inside the locker room (the middle of the locker room was filled with luggage) - but we also checked in late so it was understandable. Would definitely stay again if I needed a last minute quick place to stay for a night.

This capsule hotel is good for solo travellers. It is clean and tidy and provides all the amenities one requires for a good nights sleep.

Only downside is that the lockers are not in the same level as the capsule .

A good addition is the upstairs balcony area . Nice place to chill and relax after a long day of travelling

I stayed here for one night extended my work trip. This location was very reasonable on price. I felt very safe at this facility and did not experiance any issues. They have storage lockers to store all your belongings.

The upstairs lounge was very nice with a great view of the Toyko tower. I was able to sit up their and have a beer while completing some work.

Staff was helpful and welcoming. Relatively clean facility.
Capsule area was very quiet and clean, with pulldown screen for privacy. The pillow style (ideal for back sleeping) not so much for changing sleep positions in the night (not a deal breaker). Public facilities were also relatively clean and easy to use during stay. Showers were clean and individually partitioned with locking doors. Private lockers with card access for personal items, luggage storage below locker. Overall it was a fun/good experience! Would stay again in the future 👌

This place was okay. This was first capsule hotel and only one and I’m not being fair with the rating as I’m comparing this place with the hotels we stayed at. Capsules are okay, I didn’t love my experience here. People staying are not very mindful, not demure at all. They were noisy at night, and I was able to rest well as I kept hearing people opening and closing the doors. The capsule unit does not have an AC or fan so I was sweating and very dehydrated when I woke up. If you are looking for a budget place this a good option but if you can afford a hotel, I’ll definitely do that. It was an okay experience for me but I don’t think I’d like to repeat it.

Very easy to access to the public transport. Very close to the Tokyo Tower. Overall the add does describe the property and facilities quite accurate.
Be aware that you have to check out every day even if you’re staying more than one night. I only stayed one night so it was fine but keep it in mind so you plan your activities around this .

The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the JR's Hamamatsucho Station (North Exit). The staff members were friendly and courteous, and check in was easy. It was quite quiet inside the hotel, and the bathroom and shower areas were very clean with good quality amenities (body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers, etc,). The locker to stow a suitcase is a bit small, but there is an area in the lobby to stow larger suitcases free of charge. Overall, it was a very nice experience at a great price!!

Even though I had a prepaid reservation at another hotel in Tokyo I was anxious to try a capsule hotel stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay. It was a bit like staying in a coed college dorm!

The building is stylish minimalist in decor with comfortable sleeping pods, balconies, rooftop deck, and a coed lounge on the tenth floor with great view of nearby Tokyo Tower.

Everything is well thought out. The showers even have rain shower heads. Towels, slippers, and lounge wear are provided.

It is located in a convenient neighborhood, very walkable with lots of restaurant choices. Cute Byron Bay coffee house right around the corner. Walking distance to Tokyo Tower .

I would definitely stay again!💜👏

The staff is very friendly and helpful, but considering there a lots of international tourists, there was some language Barrier when trying to communicate with them. The only other major flaw was that there’s only 1 elevator for 10 floors. But overall it was a great experience.

Capsule was surprisingly roomy and pretty comfortable. Shower area was very clean and had everything you would need. Would be nice if there were larger luggage lockers or a place to sort/repack things in the locker room. Extra or oversized luggage can be left in the area across from reception, but it was pretty cramped and not particularly secure. Not a whole lot to do in the immediate area, but walking distance to ginza and very easy access to the asakusa express airport train line. If you are flying into or out of Narita it’s half the price of taking the narita express or keisei line and you don’t have to change trains.

There is a infrared camera in the sleeping pod. The staff claims it’s not running because I don’t have the sleep monitoring service. But the infrared light used by the camera is on (can be confirmed looking through a phone’s camera when the visible light is off). I have reached out over nine hours’ website and haven’t got a response for a week.

Given people don’t even trust cameras on their own laptop, there should be a physical cover over the camera when not used.

It was my first time staying at a capsule hotel and it was definitely more cramped than a more conventional hotel model. But it was clean and well-kept and the staff were very helpful! I don’t know if I would spend an entire week there again since space became a big consideration as I collected souvenirs, but if you’re spending a few days in Tokyo, it’s a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is within a 5 mins walk from JR Hamamatsucho and the subway Daimon station. Very convenient.

However, the hotel expects all guests to leave from 10 AM to 2 PM for cleaning; yet, the locker area is usually not clean despite the strict regulations with guests' trash being left all over the place. If you would like guests to leave the area, then at least you should do a properly job to clean up the area.
