Hot tub is old and tike missing. Bed has a used band aid in the second queen bed sheets. Room air unit went out had to have engineer fix it. Jacuzzi heater blew out on Saturday. Staff couldn’t care iess. Hamburger was frozen. Pizza is Digiorno frozen pizza sold for 22.00. Outrageous. Wife’s purse had 62.00 stolen at the poolside area. Staff member that I brought this up to was defensive ahd instead of saying we should bring this to the security team he said it wasn’t me bro….

Hotel is nice, restaurant limited. Staff not helpful. I called prior to arriving asking to have a surprise in our room since we were celebrating a birthday (not asking for free) I was told it would be done. I also received an email from their guest services asking if I had a preference in room floor or any specific requests. I responded with first floor and again reminding them of the surprise.
We ended up getting second floor and no surprise at all. I expected a lot more for a 4 star resort.

I will definitely one back here for my birthday and just a getaway. The pool, the bar, and the rooms were all great. Not so crowded and plenty of room. I just loved my stay. Met some really nice people there.

Staff did not fulfill any basic requests I asked for in advance: for the sofa bed to be prepared as a bed before check-in and for extra towels to be added to our room. I made multiple requests, no acknowledgment or apology from staff for not addressing the asks. I also noticed an incorrect $126 charge on my bill at checkout - front desk clerk told me, “well, stuff happens, I’ll take it off your bill.” Again, no apology, or acknowledgment that should t have happened. Poor guest services in general.

I stay at a lot of hotels and this was by far the best experience I’ve had in a long time. The check in was easy and the front desk staff was amazing. The pool was very nice. The arcade and bar area were great. The bartender was very nice and helpful. We will be back.

The main pool was the focus of this property, and they did a wonderful job with the layout, the 2 slides, and the poolside service was especially good. The staff kept checking up on everyone's needs and while the prices are not cheap, the food and drinks were excellent for poolside.
The studio room was good sized and had an ample balcony. Unfortunately the screen was completely missing and we were not able to pull in the evening breeze.
Service and hospitality are strong points here, however when we arrived there were no bottles of conditioner or bath soap in their expected place, and only 1 washcloth. This was quickly remedied with a text to the main concierge. The next day after maid service there were zero washcloths!
Internet service was strong throughout the property.
We had planned to eat 1 time at the property restaurant, but after eeading the reviews, the once good restaurant has seemingly fallen. Plenty of options only minutes away

The only issue that we had was the designated “Quiet pool”. While it is not exclusively adult only, the insinuation is that the will not likely be any kids. Children cannot be quiet, it’s not in their nature and therefore the property needs to find a way to either be more explicit when describing to guest the different pools. They should also somehow hire an extra security to patrol the area regularly if they are going to insist on having a designated Quiet Pool. During our stay multiple families brought their kids to the quiet pool and the parents who brought their kids were not actively monitoring their own kids behavior and were completely hands off. We tried the adult only pool, but the adults were acting like children throwing balls and one even knocked a drink out of my hand. This should also be monitored and discouraged by the hotel staff. All this to say, if you plan to stay here, lower your expectations for a relaxing quiet pool experience.

This is a beautiful resort that is perfect for families as well as romantic couples. Well maintained and thoughtful appointments throughout. Very comfortable beds, excellent sheets and pillows. Fun pool area, two jacuzzis, a great bar, and one open top and closed tube waterslide.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Def will come again.

I have only one issue and it is line management during check-in. Two lines formed and customers cross sides and cut in front of others when the employee is ready to wait on the customer. If the employees were mindful of who is next it would avoid the issue. It can be a negative start to the customers stay.

Honestly, the worst experience. Over crowded, terrible service. Understaffed. Housekeeping service attempted at 10pm after requesting service four times that day. Sent a formal complaint to the hotel and have yet to connect with anyone almost a month later after following up weekly. Extremely disappointing experience.

Overall we enjoyed our stay! Definitely will come back but had an issue with our room when we got there. Was given a room without a pool view when I had paid extra for pool view and associate had to talk to a manager. By the time we got to our new room, an hour had passed.

If I were to stay again, I would make sure staff has communicated amongst each other before walking to room.

This was probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The room was filled with mosquitos. We needed additional pillows which they said would be to our room in 15 minutes. We had to follow up with the front desk 4 times and it took 2 hours for the pillows to finally come. Then to top it off the receptionist up front was SO RUDE and put a finger up to tell me to wait when I asked about the arcade door being locked and our key card not working to unlock it. Never ever staying here again and it was for Mother’s Day weekend.

We decided to walk back when a nice gentleman on a trolley stopped to give us a ride. He told us he never received the message for a pick up.

Such a great property! The beds were so comfortable, having the 3 pools to choose from... The quiet pool, the adult pool and the regular pool. We only went to the adult pool and it was so peaceful. We ordered room service for lunch and the selections were okay. Mostly burgers, hot dogs, pizza and fried chicken tenders. It would be nice to have better options, but honestly, that's my only negative feedback. Bonus.. it's only 5 minutes from Agua Caliente!

They had a plumbing problem in the bathrooms by the pool, so we could not enjoy the pool like we would have liked. Golf course was closed and the driving range was very costly to use. Not many amenities for the resort fee.

- Arrived on a Friday evening about 8pm. Reception desk was not obvious. The entrance was fairly dark and nobody was visible to direct me.
- Room was ok, but lacked an outlet and shelve on one side of the queen bed i.e. no place to set phone and plug it in.
- bathroom could use a few of hooks to hang clothes, towels, etc.
- shower \"rain\" head should be replaced with shower heads that have some pressure.
- Room was not cleaned until I called about 5pm on Saturday.
- Overall, the floors throughout the resort seemed a bit dirty.
- I surprised by the $40/night resorty fee. I thought all taxes and fees were included. I did notice that I would have to pay for parking, which is unfortunate, but at least I knew aobut that fee before I reserved the room.
- On the plus side, the $10/day credit was a nice surprised.

Stayed in a suite for Coachella. The size of the room was fantastic and the bathroom was perfect for three people to get ready. Took our daughter for a full circle Coachella moment, but we want to come back with our son too. Just for a more laid-back vacay. The grounds were so relaxing and beautiful during the day and at night.

I am very disappointed in this hotel! The hotel was very nice but I got robbed right after leaving to Coachella from my room. All they took from my room was my purses and wallets. It seems it was someone that was watching me and my cousin. I think it was an inside job. When we went to the front desk to report it they didn’t seem surprised and did not want to show me any footage around the time my purses got stolen stating they don’t had any security. I did call the police and file a police report on the incident. So if anyone stays here please don’t leave any of your personal belongings here as they can rob your stuff.

Francisco Magana was the rudest employ I have ever encountered at a hotel. He needs anger management and customer service training. The Westin should be ashamed for hiring this guy. The manager Nikki Higgins is an absolute gem! She knew how to troubleshoot and was empathetic. Patrick Hamilton the concierge made me feel very welcomed. Great personality and deserves a raise.

Took over 2 hours to check in due to dirty rooms. Shower head was broken after checking in. Pool waiter tried to double tip on bill till I realized and called him out. If you get pool service be sure to ask for an itemized bill before signing your receipt.

The main restaurant had bad service they got our meals wrong dont order their linguine they give it to you dry when you ask for more fettuccine sauce they told us they didn't have anymore then, they forget my spouse meal and when they bring it the meal is drowning in afredo sauce! Bath wash was not full.. ran out.
Instead of 2 queen beds we received 2 full beds, comforter had lots of lumps.
Gardeners blowers were very loud while sleeping, but I guess that’s a way to wake us up.. over all a property was completely different look and feel from last year. Not kept up properly!
I guess water is only given at check in if you ask for it.

Negative experience with security. They were very slow to respond to loud jumping upstairs at 630 am. He was very unprofessional and condescending. They had very minimal celiac friendly food options and staff was not well trained. We had to order out a bunch. Overall it was not what we thought staying at the Westin would be. We won’t be going back.

The property is very large and spread out. Each building is only 2 stories tall. If you drive, each building has parking at it. Check in was efficient. Room was nice, w/ large bathroom, shower and toilet in its own room with door and sink-vanity in its own area. Mini fridge, coffee, 2 bottled waters. Restaurant food was okay. A bit expensive for quality, portion, and presentation. Here is were I feel the hotel is REALLY LACKING, the pool areas. The large family pool with the slides was packed. It was spring break. All the attention was given there but there was still lack of employees to keep up with everything. I was there by myself for 5 days. I requested a room by the quieter pool (it was near buildings 3,4,5). The time that I was there the pool was not cleaned at all. Guests were scooping dead grasshoppers out each morning. There was debris in the bottom of the pool. At the entrance there were tar non-slip tiles that were completely torn off and a trip hazard, and rotten wood planks on the walkway. I decided to try the adults only pool. A few kids were there however they were respectful. There was geese and ducks landing in the pool. I understand this is hard to control. But their poop droppings were around the pool deck. No one came to spray it off. There was garbage that was in the corners of areas that you can tell the wind had blown debris from landscaping and garbage into it. There were lots of people tending to the landscaping but not the pools.

Stayed here with my family and it was a nice getaway. The amenities were great, the staff was helpful and quick to help with any issues. With that said, some issues we had was:
- when we checked in to our room, we realized they had us at the second floor and that was troublesome with 2 toddlers and our luggage.
- when we got into our room, we saw that there were multiple food/trash particles (raspberries, chips, bottle caps) in the crevices of the bed/fridge area. Paint chips were in the shower as well. They came and helped us to another room, bottom floor & helped with our luggage within 15 minutes of us calling them.
- lastly, not a deal breaker, but if they knew we were traveling with kids, perhaps put us on the first floor or a building closer to a pool that’s not “adult pool.” (They have 3 pools and we were placed next to the adult pool, and had no idea it was even an adult pool until another guest had to tell us off) a bit annoyed, but luckily he was “nice” about it.

Those were just some minor issues, and was happy that they took care of our room situation. Will be back again for the amenities.

The Westin Rancho Mirage is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting. We were able to check in early and our room was very spacious. The beds were super comfortable too. We ate in the dining room for lunch and Sunday Brunch. The food was good and reasonably priced. The smaller pool we were close to was clean but they could use more umbrellas. Overall—a very enjoyable stay.

The entrance to the Westin is gorgeous and grand! But...when you check in at the lobby and registration, you are unexpectedly transported to this very cheap, disorderly and unattractive area! The hotel rooms were very tired with old squishy mattresses (where were those Westin \"Heavenly\" beds?!) and the furnishings were homely and all bunged/chipped up ): I could never go into the adjacent adult pool to swim and enjoy the ambience, as the pool was very small, crowded and dirty. The surrounding \"resort\" grounds were more like an overwhelming bird sanctuary as the loud Canadian Geese have taken over the property and are squawking and pooping everywhere, including the river-like water scapes & fountains throughout the resort that are now filthy and stagnating with this bird poop turning the water a murky pale green! This place needs a complete overhaul, clean up and upgrade - and a plan to get rid of the Geese!
