This is now a old hotel needing lot of refresh. The rooms were filthy, the shower drain didn't drain and pooled water. Despite complaining it didn't get fixed. The hvac didn't work and had to complain, people upstairs could be heard walking. I am Bonvoy gold elite and still got substandard quality of service.

I had a wonderful stay at the The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa. The property was beautiful and very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. One of the biggest highlights for me was that they allowed me to bring my dog, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It’s always a plus to find a place that’s both comfortable and pet-friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms were not available for checin until 6.30 pm. Also we requested late checkout which they denied, and while were still checking out at 11am, the rooms automatically got locked at 10.50am and we were outside the room and our some luggage still inside the room. It was very bad experience.

the room was beautiful and there was ample parking. My only gripe would be that the TV or the remote weren't working and didn't find that out until way late in the night to have someone come up and fix it or move us to another room. after paying close to $500.00 dollars that really bummed us out.

The room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable—exactly what you expect from a Westin. The grounds were beautifully maintained and peaceful, making it easy to relax and unwind. Probably was a nice place once; 40 years ago. Low density and spread out which was nice. Small old fashioned pools. Little options for food and drinks. Overall the place seemed like something out of the Twilight Zone. Many of the rooms face the parking lots or other room buildings with no views or aesthetics. Room size was good but needed major updating. Super old decor and furnishings/fixtures. Service was very poor. Not professional. Phone in room did not work. No way to reach housekeeping, front desk, guest services from the room. Phone didn't work. No numbers provided to even call from our cell phones. 40-minute wait for breakfast on 10:00 on a Monday morning. No alternative restaurant choices. Resort fee was $40 for next to nothing and did not even include the parking, which was an additional $25. Would not go back there unless there was a MAJOR remodel of that property with new management and better facilities.

The resort is great it has everything you need. A restaurant swimming pools a golf course an arcade for the kids and is very family friendly. It's great that you can just walk to your room after around a golf and then change and walk to a restaurant and have a nice meal and wine and just relax without having to drive everywhere. You can stay at this Resort the entire time and not have to leave if you wish. And the best part is the casino is only a couple miles away.

Room was as expected. Slightly older- but large room. Hotel grounds are beautiful. Check in extremely slow and receptionist doesn’t fully understand all check in-mobile key questions. One pool was out of service. Hot tubs at times not not enough. Kids running through pool area with no need to slow down. Our fridge didn’t work for 2 days. Management responded when issues arose but felt like they were cutting some corners like turning off heat at 9:30pm for hot tubs and fridge just shutting off. Felt a little weird. Beautiful grounds though.

I paid more than 300$ a day. But didn’t find any good amenities on the resort.

The bowling ally is of little kids standards. We used only pool and hot tub which was outdoor.

The usable amenities are as good aa any other decent hotel with swimming pool and hottub.

This could be a good choice for someone who is in the Golf.

I will rate The Westin below 1 star. Started the day when I checked @ 2pm ant the front desk staffs were not attentive, not friendly nor helpful at all. They are kept the members and customers waiting and waiting.
Then my room was NOT READY until after 5:30pm. I waited for over 3 hours to get my room ready.
I played my tennis tournament on Friday that day and I was exhausted that I needed to get in my room and relax.
But I stayed in my car to have a private and quiet time for myself.
And this is not acceptable. Please send this complaint letter the management which I will send it to them
As well.

Our stay greatly exceeded expectations! Our room was exceptionally clean and very spacious. We could have easily stayed for a week as a family of four. The grounds were spectacular. The kids had a blast playing on the awesome water slides, in the arcade (with bowling and cotton candy!) and in the tennis courts. Everything was decorated so nicely for Christmas and I love that they had all these cozy places to sit outside with firepits. The hotel is in a very nice area and is close to a gourmet grocery store. I ran an 8 mile radius around the surrounding area each morning and the area was very safe and just gorgeous. The staff here were so wonderful-they had a room ready for us at 12:30 when check-in was at 4 and they let us have a late check-out when leaving. The concierge was very knowledgeable as well. The warmth of the staff was felt by all! We will definitely be going back!

“Executive Suite”. Total joke…dark, dank…next to a parking lot and the highway…no views. Room dirty and very beaten up and tired. Room was not ready until 5pm. Could not wait to leave!!!! The staff were nice at least..
Overall, Motel 6 better…not a joke. This place was insulting.

Property is so tired and rooms are in need of updating. They entice you to dine at their establishment, but when I went in twice for two different meals, there wasn't a soul there. Room is extremely dated, especially the bathroom. Shower curtain was kinda unclean.

Service is horrible, it takes forever for someone to serve a drink at the bar and the pool area… there was a conference at the hotel and a bunch of people chanting in the front lobby at 7 am Saturday morning. We could hear it clearly from our room it woke us up at the beginning of our trip. Save yourself some $$ and find a better resort. I usually don’t take the time to comment but this to me was worth advising others who want to get away.. there are better places ti go in the desert.

The property has a great restaurant on it which means you can have a really nice meal have a few drinks you just walk back to your room. No need to go driving in or drive off the premises to go through lunch restaurant. There are many golf courses nearby and the casino is only one and a half miles away which makes everything very convenient. Highly recommend this place

They’d have the gates serviced only to have them stop working later that day. This was an ongoing issue during our six day stay.

We made reservations and contacted the resort to request rooms of two couples close together. When I checked in second, there was no mention that we had made request to be close together. I was told that the closest we could get was at least two buildings away. Trying to find out The menus at the restaurants on site was nearly impossible without taking a trip to the restaurant first. Their website did not have a full menu also. When trying to contact anyone at the resort, the phone call made took multiple minutes before receiving someone on the other line. I do believe that this resort due to the lack of parking close to anywhere other than maybe the rooms, needed to have a direct line to theshuttle service.. the shuttle personnel were very friendly and very helpful, but the phone call had to go through their normal phone system and the delays were unnecessary.

Waited in line to check in over half an hour. We had to ask if anyone was going to check us in. After talking to the front desk, the room wasn’t ready. I was told that room would be ready by 4:30. I visited the front desk and they stated it wouldn’t be ready until 6-6:30 pm and they would text me. I waited in the lobby at 5:30 pm for them to text me. 6:15 pm, they stated that my room was ready and I asked why didn’t they notify me. Went to the room, there were other guest in that room. We had to drag our luggage down a flight of stairs. (Note: no elevators at this resort). By this time, they upgraded our room but we did not get to our room until 7pm.

Overall decent place but have a $40 dollars daily fee on top of the room price which is weird. They also charged me for a parking a day and I didn’t even have a car. I have noticed it after and sent several emails for a refund and no one returned to me. Make sure to check your receipt before leaving the facility.
