What an incredible Labor Day weekend we had at this lovely resort! The units themselves are spacious, well kept and tastefully decorated, and completely relaxing. Lots of details and touches that make this five star. (We even used the fireplace on the patio one night… because it was there!)

The grounds and pools are gorgeous and we love that several are for adults. It was very warm but the umbrellas were on wheels and we would just shade ourselves while we stayed in the pool and read. Incredibly relaxing after hiking San Jacinto.

We had been to this property more than 20 years ago when it was part of IntraWest. We were very excited to come back and it didn’t disappoint, in fact it was even better!

I stayed in a 750 sqft room, spacious for the price, and it has everything you need in the kitchen. Driving to nearby business center was about 5-10 minutes. The hotel has 2 chargers for EV free for guests. 2 TV are smaller than many other hotels, about 32-36 inches but you can cast Netflix or anything on Chromecast. I don’t see this feature at other hotels. I paid through Orbitz in advance and got a discount which was lower than if paying at the hotel at the check in. I wanted to leave 1 day early but couldn’t because I paid through Orbitz. Orbitz agents tried to help me but could not talk to the hotel because they have a “policy … do not contact “. They suggested I talk directly to the hotel but the hotel said they couldn’t do much because I paid Orbitz. So, I got the runaround. Anyway I am happy with the stay, but wish Hilton Hotel and Orbitz could be more transparent in their policies online.

We arrived in our room and it was 100 degrees inside due to the broken ac. We stayed in the room for about an hour while they try to fix the ac. We ended up moving rooms. Staff was great. I just wish they did a room check prior to guests arrival to ensure the room is ready.

A beautiful oasis of comfort, relaxation and fun.

Beautiful, clean, family friendly and conveniences of all sorts. Games, movies, outdoor fun within walking distance inside the property. Pool just outside our room. Seating area on porch with fireplace. The amenities are endless. Grocery store and coffee shops down the road less than a minute away. Staff is amazing and friendly. I could not stay anywhere else now that we have experienced this place.

Beautiful, roomy accommodations! Everything was very clean. The kitchen was fully appointed. The weather was so hot, we didn’t want to use the adult pool, as the water was hot, but not the resort’s fault. Staff were very polite and helpful. It is basically across the street from the JW Marriott. The rooms at Embarc were soooo much nicer, cleaner and 1/2 the price. I look forward to returning in a better season so we can use the amenities.

We had a great time. While taking a walk around the property we noticed that the back side of the property was neglected. It was dirty, broken pots, lots of webs. I think it’s the part where they used to have timeshare presentations. I also think there should be iced water at pool areas.

This was like a wildlife preserve in the city. Excellent location and you don't need to rent a car. Everything is within walking distance or Lyft is very convenient and inexpensive. Plenty of walking trails, tennis, golf, biking, swimming. An all around great resort and location.

There was no cleaning and bed-making service. Even though it is a time share, no place and I emphasize no place on any of your brochures nor paperwork of any description state that it is a time share. If it did, we certainly would not have stayed there.
The stopper in the bathroom basin did neither stop the water nor hold it in the basin for shaving. A poor experience. Never to be repeated.

Loved every minute of our stay here! The landscaping and lighting are gorgeous and the property is incredibly well maintained. We used their grill equipment to grill on one of their brand-new-looking outdoor grills one night… cleaned it off as best we could… and then went back to check on it in the morning and it had been completely cleaned back to looking brand new again! That kind of attention to detail was evident throughout the hotel. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends (especially families with kids )

Our 2 bedroom unit was very spacious and the surrounding drought-tolerant landscaping is excellent. While this location has no restaurant and the spa is closed during summer months, there is a premier steakhouse and a 5-star resort located literally within .5 miles from it. Embarc Palm Desert embedded within the Desert Willow Golf course, a premier 18- hole experience.

Do not stay here if you’re a light sleeper.

While I really wanted to like this place our experience was so bad we likely won’t return. I appreciate the concierge and security for trying their best to help and these issues are not their fault. But there’s a lot I must address. For one they require you take out your trash before checking out which is reasonable if the place was clean but we arrived seeing hair in the shower and scraps in the sink. The AC does not set below 70F and although we set it to that we constantly felt hot only to see the AC off & the thermostat reading 72F. The refrigerator has a loud ice maker that you cannot shut off without turning off the refrigerator itself. Even after turning it off we constantly heard loud tapping & creaking noises throughout our whole stay that kept us from sleeping. They only give 3 pillows for a king sized bed & all were too thick & firm for us to sleep with. We tossed and turned until 4am when I tried to see if we could get a late checkout or room change but my partner didn’t think it’d be worth it if the next room was the same. The front desk said they could bring us more pillows but didn’t know if they’d be the same & offered to let us checkout at 1pm or 2pm if we moved. I asked if we could decide in the morning but they said we had to move now. After getting pillows the front desk said they could only do 12pm checkout. I asked for a discount and only got the $35 resort fee back which is for using their amenities. How could we with no sleep?

Immaculate and beautiful grounds, I didn’t see one piece of trash anywhere, one of the nicest we have stayed at. There are four pools including a one foot pool for the little kids. There is a movie theatre, arcade with free games, outdoor pool and ping pong, bike rentals, shaded basketball and pickle ball courts and gym. Resort is perfect for couples and families. Very close to Ralph’s grocery store to buy food to cook at the gas grills on the property. Speaking of grills, we cooked steaks Wednesday night and by Thursday morning the grill was cleaned to like new condition. Many parking spots are under shade and are lighted too. Staff was very nice and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend you stay here.

My wife found Embarc as we were travelling, and was able to make a reservation for the same night. The place is gorgeous. The grounds are so well landscaped and maintained, and we enjoyed a nice stroll in the evening. The staff were so nice and had a great sense of humor. The studio we rented was very comfortable and well appointed. Though we didn't use it this trip, I love having a kitchen, and also the list of more \"foodie\" items that could be borrowed from the facility if desired.

The overall experience was pleasant as we used most of the facilities they had as it was super hot outside and we could not go any where that much!
Still with that hot crazy weather the price of hotel during a week was pricy!
we tried to extend a night for not spending a lot of time on the traffic back home, we called the property and they told us $369 for another night which was crazy offer as their hotel was almost empty!
We decided to check out then but we spent almost 3 hours on the traffic heading back with that hot weather which was not pleasant!
All hotel members were nice specially David and Elizabeth
and the only one who was so rude guy name Miguel!
First time we met,he told us,need to have ur masks on here !Even though since then we were there for 3 days already and all other employees never mentioned that!some guests wear a mask some not !Not a big deal as he shows that kind of bad attitude!!Then again I called for some shampoo and ... and he even repeat them to me 2-3 times and confirmed ! Then after he called my husband phone and telling him you need shampoo and ...?!wth What a unprofessional person to work in this industry! Hotels take an advantage of covid and not cleaning our room & making bed..!
he told him i only give you each item one!
when we came back from golf,saw he even forgot put 2 candles I asked for our anniversary night as our trip was for celebrating that!
he just ruin some good moments for us!!
Hopefully never see him again!
