The sounds of the unit above us due to the buildings structural creakiness did not allow us to sleep at all. Guests above us seemed to be walking normal and doing normal things but it was like it was an 1850s building as far as noise

The room was completely disgusting. Wallpaper coming off the walls, bathroom was full of water stains, rug was fully stained. The worst were the bugs around the room from the bedside table to the washroom. It is very run down room and would not consider staying again. The AC took literally hours to cool down the room and very noisy.

The property needs an update for the room. Our room had the quality of a Motel 6. We were there three days and our room was never cleaned nor were we given clean towels after a request for our room to be cleaned. We price was too steep for the quality at total of $1400 plus parking for three days all in. Breakfast was great however.

Clean, very comfortable suite. The bed was great. Breakfast was decent. Biggest problem is the feral children who run around the property not supervised by their parents. Not sure how hotels should handle this but they need to put more policies in place which require parents to take more accountability.

I am very disappointed with my stay at Embassy Suites Hilton Palm Desert. The condition of the room(s) do not reflect standards that is associated with the Hilton brand. The rooms were deplorable and lacked the class and elegance that the Hilton brand is known for.

No guest should have to stay in or pay for filthy looking soiled carpet, torn headboards, sagging couches, visible wholes in the walls from moved fixtures, sliding off tract doors and the absolute worst a non working toilet.

Those were the collective conditions of the three rooms we were given to stay in. Each time Management reminded me that I booked the reservation through Expedia as if the money I paid in advance and any resolution for my Hotel stay lost its value.

I am appalled. Either Hilton and Expedia leadership is grossly unaware of the way this property represents its brand in person and on social media or are only interested in a cash grab at the expense of its customers. I really regret giving such a low rating to an establishment that I held in high regard. I really hope the Embassy Suites Hilton/Expedia Leadership do the right thing and follow up and address my concerns in a way that dignifies my time, effort and expense.

Everything about our stay was mediocre. Most Embassy suites we’ve stayed at have been excellent, but this one had a lot to be desired. The bathroom was very small, the tub needed caulking, we could not get the heater to operate properly, the carpet was quite stained. However, the breakfast was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. When called the front desk no one ever answered so we needed to make a trip down to the lobby to communicate with the front desk.

The Hotel needs an uplifting overall. Our room had plumbing issues, clogged bathroom washing and tub sink. The toilet seat lid was shifting to the sides. The next day, no one came in to clean up the room, when asked, they said due to short staffing and only clean towels were provided. The icemaker machines, out of service, only one in the lower level was working. Trash cans located prior entering the access door from the parking area, absolutely disgusting, full of trash and containers super dirty. For the price paid per night $$$, it was not worthwhile compared to other choices in the area. Definitely will not comeback.

This property is in need of a major refresh. Our room was in need of new carpet. The bathroom tub/ shower area needs all of the caulk removed and replaced. The bathroom door needs to be replaced as the laminate finish is coming apart at the bottom. Lastly the breakfast area is chaotic and understaffed.

Room was in very bad condition. Especially the bathroom. Door was curled, bathroom mirror was cracked. Overall room needs paint, good cleaning, and modernization.

When I checked in I was early and was charged 30$ for early check in. I also had a service dog. When I received my folio I was charged 50$ for early check in and 75$ for a pet. On top of that I was charged individual taxes not only for the room but the early check in and the pet fee. Rm suite tax, tourism tax, and tbid tax. All 3 different times. I had to call and ask for it to be removed but I do not understand why I was told 30$ to check in early and secretly charged 50$ I would have never known had I not asked for a copy of my receipt. Does this property make up whatever price they want for an early check in? I had never been charged for early check in at any other Hilton properties especially when the room is already ready. I traveled 2 hours and had a wedding in a hour to be at so I wasn’t going to argue about 30$ but I now am questioning how I was told one thing and charged another, or charged period of a room that was already ready. Also on Expedia it shows you the room price with all taxes included so why would I then get charged 3 other taxes after checking in? Very disappointed

Room phone didn’t work, called from personal phone to front desk, There are no pillows, bed sheets or the comforter set for the extra bed . When we asked, front desk people asked us to come and grab from the front office. Felt so rude . After room cleaning service, they too all the towels and left only one. Again same thing that we need to go to front desk and get it every time. Not at all happy with the services. Rooms are but outdated .

The room wasn’t terrible or gross, but definitely room for improvement. There wasn’t a shower curtain in the shower, the shower dripped nonstop, floor creaked in some spots, there was a loud bang like metal dropping after the AC turned off, and the worst was that the ceiling creaked and thudded when the people above me walked around. It was so loud it was hard to hear the TV. The furnishings were very worn, no pillows on the sofa also. I stay here for work because of location but may need to consider nearby hotels for a better night sleep.

The room was tired, stains on carpet. Cheap plastic glasses, zero cutlery or anything to aid having a meal or snack in the room's kitchenette.
Also, the faucet for the shower was not working. Once I set the shower temperature the dial handle kept dropping down and increasing the hot temperature. In a 5 to 6 minute shower I had to repeatedly reset the handle so as not to have burning hot water coming from the shower.
The check in was seamelss and friendly. The breakfast was very good and hot.

First of all, We want to state that staff were fine. However, the property itself is old and needs a lot of attention. We had a ground floor room and the noise from occupants above disturbed our sleep. The ceiling creaked with their every step, and we wondered if there was some sort of structural problem. We also had problems with the television reception and found the afternoon reception to be the worst of any Embassy Suites in which we’ve ever stayed. To make a long story short, staff were unable to resolve these issues, so we checked out after 2 nights (of our original 7 night reservation.) To their credit, staff acknowledged that the hotel is an older property and waived parking fees and one night’s lodging charge.

The following were good, friendly staff, breakfast food and rooms. You do need some TCL at the elevators and the windows of the elevators and some exterior paint along the facia which shows peeling paint and looks dirty. This is located at the second and 3rd flooring levels below the metal railing of the walkways at those 2 levels. Also some paint needed on top of your wooden patio covers, they are showing some wear from the sun.

Arrived at 4:00, hoping for time to rest and enjoy ground .no rooms ready. No rooms till 6:00. No time for rest or a swim. Room reserved still not ready. Room 247. Stained all over carpet. Bathroom disgusting. Door. Falling apart. Registration rude unfriendly at breakfast. Girl sitting at table checking people off. This place has nice outdoor pathetic indoor. The room we checked into has no working outlets in the bathroom. The 2nd room we checked into had no working heat. Then we discovered that the toilet would not flush. This happened twice! On the door to the breakfast there is a sign that says the restaurant would be open and it was not. We came specifically for a nice room and restaurant and got neither! We cannot and will not recommend staying here.

The breakfast timeframe is overly limited, running only from 6 to 9 AM. The main issues are excessively long wait times and severe food shortages — items are often taken as soon as they're put out, forcing those later in line to wait extensively for replenishment. Additionally, the staff appear quite lethargic, working at a very slow pace, and their overall service attitude is unsatisfactory. Also, the bathroom in the room is extremely small/narrow. It's so cramped that it's difficult to even open and close the door properly.

Outdated decor and tiny bathroom which need to close the door in order to use toilet. Lots dogs staying in this hotel so lots dog barking during our stay. 70% of their workers passing by on the hallway don’t greeting us either. However, front desk was good checking in and out . One housekeeper named Margarita helped to replace our not functioning well coffee machine despite housekeeping service took super long wait.

Check-in was at 4 PM upon arrival they told us they have no housekeeping so the rooms are not ready. We have to wait till 9 PM to check into our room and we were traveling with a two year-old baby which made everything harder and more frustrating during our stay we got no room service. We got no towels And our room was not clean. We will never go back to the facility. We got no refund or any complementary for the lack of their service we need to call our travel short and check out two days early. We could not stand staying there.

This family-style hotel is a great value for the money. The grounds are quite lovely, the room is basic, but spacious, and the breakfast is a step above most comparable hotels that offer breakfast. Staff are incredibly helpful (we had both our parking fee waived, as well as as a late checkout granted). I would recommend!

The room was not ready at 4:00pm, which is their check-in time. It wasn't ready until almost 5:00pm. There were multiple stains on the carpet and portions of the carpet were torn and fraying along the tile at the bathroom and kitchentte. The bathtub/shower area had rust along the grout line and the sink in the bedroom also had rust. Probably one of the worst Embassy Suites we have ever stayed in based on condition --- BUT they did wave the $15 parking fee.... so there's that.

Elevator would not come to the 3rd floor even though the light came on when pressed and the elevator was working. Trash pick up outside our window at 6AM 2 of 4 days! No clock in room. This hotel experience was not up to par! We had to wait until 7pm to be checked in because none of the rooms were cleaned. Then the room was more like a motel and not a hotel as advertised. While in the room there was a constant leak from the ceiling flooding the carpet, which is extremely unsanitary and caused an inconvenience of not being able to walk on the carpet (not even with socks). I contacted the property manager and was told that we had to be out of the room in order for maintenance to fix it. We left the room that morning and no one came out to fix it all day. We returned about 11 PM with the leak even worse than it was before. They did comp our parking for being late with the check-in but none of the other issues were addressed by the hotel. Plus, the “hotel” was disgusting. The elevators smelled horrible and in the room there were stains on the carpet and furniture.

Unfortunately, this stay did not meet Embassy Suites or Hilton brand standards. Upon arrival, the hotel was overbooked and could not provide the room type I reserved. I was moved more than once, and the rooms offered had serious cleanliness issues. One room had a visibly dirty couch, and another had dark, mold-like stains on the carpet, which raised health concerns. The bedding was also uncomfortable and did not feel clean or soft.

While staff offered Hilton Honors points for one night, the issues went beyond a simple inconvenience. Multiple room changes combined with cleanliness problems made the stay stressful and disappointing, especially for a family stay. I expected much better quality and cleanliness for the price paid.
