Traveled with kids (3, 6, 14, 17). We got one of the bigger rooms with 2Q beds and sofa bed. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious enough for all of us to be comfortable. The sofa bed was not comfortable but I expected that in all honesty. The hotel itself was a little worn down but we weren't looking for a luxury stay. There was a small gym, ping pong tables, lawn chess. There was pickle ball available but we use it. We were very happy with the location. It was very convenient to the zoo and very close to markets and restaurants. We were only disappointed that the laundry facilities were closed. (You had to pay to use them.) We were happy with our stay and will consider staying there again if we travel with the kids. Staff was great. Super nice and inviting. Breakfast was solid, fresh omelet station, pasties, fruit.

Front desk: The staff was friendly and welcoming at both check-in and check-out! The process of both were quick and easy.

Parking: Parking was plentiful and we didn’t have any issues finding a spot, nor did we have any safety concerns.

Room: Our room was clean and comfortable. I appreciate when hotels have shampoo/conditioner/lotion available in the bathroom.

Amenities: We utilized the pool and hot tub, enjoyed the dinner reception, and ended our stay with complimentary breakfast. The pool chairs were clean with plenty of towels available. The food was fresh and delicious with many options for breakfast. I want to especially thank the bartender for dinner reception on Saturday 6/20. I’m not a big drinker so I wasn’t sure what to order. He made me a delicious, fruity drink that wasn’t too strong for me! My 3 year old had requested a “fun drink” as well and he made her an Italian soda that she was so excited about.

Surrounding area: So many food and shops nearby. It was about 30 mins from the Aerial Tram at Mt San Jacinto (the reason for our visit). It felt like a very safe area.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it!

This is the second time we have stayed as a family here. It’s great for kids, staff is wonderful- shout out to Seamore the waiter/ bar staff, and the rooms were clean and comfy. The location is very convenient and the food was delicious. I hope more people read this and enjoy their time there as well. I just hope the prices remain affordable 😊

For the past year I have stayed at three different locations. Embassy suites in Fort Lauderdale, Florida also in Puerto Rico and now in Indian Wells. All three experiences were the same, friendly and very helpful. And most importantly very economical. I travel a lot during to my daughters gymnastics competitions and booking with embassy suites has been very satisfying.

Front desk was very kind and welcoming. Room was not very clean. I did not sit on the couch due to stains and smell. Carpet had nasty stains, wear shoes!. Outlets in bathroom and near vanity did not work. had to get ready in the kitchen with no mirror. Same day as check out I realized we left 2 of my Husbands Tommy Bahama shirts hanging in the closet. I called and was told nothing was found. HMMMMM I guys a maids husband is enjoying them now. KARMA

I quite liked this hotel. The amenities were great, the rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I slept very well, and I'm usually a very light sleeper, especially in hotels. The staff was kind, and the price was excellent. I visit the Palm Desert area quite often, and considering what they offer for the price, I think this hotel is an excellent value.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The property was poorly maintained. The shower was leaking and there was black mold in the AC vents and on the ceiling around the vents. The bathroom had mold as well. For the amount of money that was being charged, it should have been well maintained. The room was old and dingy as well as the property. I was surprised because it is Hilton property. I’m glad that Hotel.com was able to find me another hotel to stay at. Everything worked out in the end but was very time consuming. Thanks again to the staff at Embassy Suites, very understanding and friendly.

The rooms need some upgrades. The bathroom door was swollen from the moisture in the room. The room smelled upon entering as well. Once we had the fan on in the bathroom it helped. The pull out couch was not very comfortable and the mattress was not comfortable.

Even though it was a holiday weekend hotel staff should be supervising areas like the pool - it was out of control noisy and with several teens that were unsupervised. Notified staff and nothing was done. Breakfast was crowded, elevator and ice machine not working on 3rd floor. Vaping adults in hallway- this is not a place for a quiet relaxing get away.

Made a reservation got there at 5:00 p.m. we were told that our room was not ready and we stood there and waited for a half hour while the front desk girl tapped on her keyboard and took phone calls and didn't say anything to us then accused of having an attitude by the time we got to our room which is around a quarter to 6:00 there was a terrible odor in the room so we left and went to another hotel this front desk clerk had such a horrible attitude we didn't say anything while we were waiting she just didn't like us and decided she wasn't going to talk to us while we were just standing there I will never ever book a room at an Embassy Suites Hotel or affiliate again

Room was clean but the furniture was old and run down. Some of the property had been remodeled. Our upper floor room was not one of them. The property was not well kept. Stucco was chipping on lower level, and the inside of the elevator was dirty and dated. The lobby and grounds were excellent. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was better than expected with an omelet bar. The interior grounds were nice.

My check in experience was top notch. I needed extra bedding for the pullout sofa and the staff handled that like a champ. My family and I decided to have breakfast and all was great until then. My wife was in line for an omelette while I stood to the side. The cook asked for my wife's room key to prove she was staying at the hotel. We were so offended by that request because the cook never asked the guests ahead of my wife or those who were in line behind her. Now my family was the only group of color so yes we felt like she was singled out. While waiting to receive the bacon and sausage the cook had passed out up to 4 slices of bacon to guests prior to us, my son received 2 slices and asked if he could have more. The cook told him there's only 2 per person. My son explained that people ahead of him received more slices and the cook walked away from him. So this experience did not set well with us. We should have just left and got breakfast elsewhere. Needless to say, we will not stay at this hotel again.

When we got there early the lady in the front desk was nice enough to check us in early. Our room was decent, however the bathroom was very small. The pool was nice. We order food dinner and the guy who was taking our order was nice. I do felt bad because he was not only the server, he was also bartending, and cleaning the entire resto.
Then what disappointing that they won’t allow late check out.

The front desk person Vanessa was the best I’ve ever experienced. She was so helpful. She went beyond the job description to help my wife and I to have the most enjoyable time she deserves every award that says available and the person who cleaned our room was very special to. The bathtub caulking was disgusting and mildew. The shower had no shampoo and no lotion in the lotion bottle. I am completely shocked that you discover this mid shower. I was able to text from front desk attendant and was able to get lotion and shampoo after 20 minutes but by then I was done with my shower. The room as stinky when you walked in with a musty smell. The couch in the front room had a big stain on it. For the money I would spend my money elsewhere as there were hotels across the street. Nice to have complimentary happy hour and omelette for breakfast was nice. The pool was nice but often there were no towels available. Just overall not impressed for the money I spent. Would NOT stay here again. Very dated and they aren’t maintaining the rooms.

We have stayed at several Embassy Suites, but it had been quite a while since we’ve been to this location.
From the minute we arrived the front desk staff, Maggie and Aaron, made us feel welcomed. They were very friendly and helpful.
The facility was VERY clean and I can’t say enough about all the employees. It shows they take pride in their work. Their positive attitudes and smiles just added to the relaxed atmosphere.
Breakfast was delicious. We were greeted like we were at a friends house for breakfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. The staff were amazing—so friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The hotel was spotless and very spacious, which made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. We truly wished we could have stayed longer. The pool, hot tub and sunshine was so inviting and off course the pickleball across from the hotel was an added bonus. A big shout out to the Reception staff. The girl who checked us in was so friendly. We will definitely be back.

AC was down the first night. Reservation were not complete due to using 3rd party reservation service. (Expedia) Exterior walkways were in need of painting. Exterior doors
were dirty. Furniture in rooms need replacing or upgrading. Bathroom/ shower needs some TLC. Wallpaper around shower is coming off and caulking is peeling off wall and doors.
We will not be staying here again.
On the plus side, the front desk staff was very professional and helpfull.

I stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Palm Desert and honestly, it was very underwhelming.

First off, it’s advertised as being close to Palm Springs — it’s not. It’s a solid 25–27 minute drive without traffic, which makes going back and forth for plans, outfit changes, or anything spontaneous extremely inconvenient.

The pool is tiny compared to how it looks in photos, and it was packed with kids nonstop (likely due to spring break), making it hard to enjoy.

For the price—especially even considering pre-Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and spring break—the condition of the hotel is not acceptable. The room felt old, worn down, and far from fresh. There was a strong unpleasant odor, stained carpets, and overall it just didn’t feel clean.

Maintenance issues were everywhere: broken blinds and curtains, poor sink drainage, damaged ceiling fixtures, and extremely loud air conditioning that made it nearly impossible to sleep. On top of that, the noise level was terrible—thin walls, loud floors, constant neighbor noise, and metal gates/doors slamming at all hours.

The bathroom was very small and outdated.

Breakfast hours were inconvenient, so I didn’t even try it. They offered two free drinks, but that didn’t really make up for anything.

The only positives: staff was friendly, check-in was fast, and parking was easy. That said, charging $15 for parking on a property with this much space feels unnecessary.

Overall, very disappointing and not worth the price.

The hotel was awful from the moment we checked in!
We were not greeted or treated with any kind of respect when we checked in. The room smelled horrible with such an overpowering and overwhelming perfume scent. We had to open a window (only allowed to open an inch or two) and I had such a bad allergic reaction to the scent and could barely sleep! The breakfast was horrible, out of everything and a sign posted with food poisoning symptoms didn’t give me any comfort in eating the food. The pool had a sign posted telling you not to use it if you’d had diarrhea in the past 14 days…gross! We decided to leave and got no help from Travelocity to try and rebook a different hotel. Save your money and don’t stay at this awful hotel and avoid Travelocity as well! What a nightmare!

I am writing to formally request a full refund for our recent stay at your property, as the conditions were unacceptable and far below the standards expected of an Embassy Suites hotel.

During our stay, we experienced multiple serious issues:

No towels were available at the pool on several occasions.
Mold was present in the bathtubs in two different rooms.
Both rooms had broken tub stoppers.
Towels provided were old and felt like worn rags.
We found hair inside the drawers, which prevented us from unpacking.
Breakfast service used plastic utensils, which was unexpected for this level of hotel.
Upon late check-in, the lobby floor was being mopped, and we were asked to wait until it dried before checking in.
There was a persistent unpleasant odor in the room.
Furniture, including couches, appeared run-down and poorly maintained.

We initially raised concerns and were moved to another room; however, the same issues were present there as well. This occurred late at night, leaving us with no reasonable option but to remain and endure the conditions.

Most concerning, due to the mold and non-functioning tub stoppers, we were unable to safely bathe ourselves or our children during the entire stay. This created a significant level of discomfort and concern for our family.

Given these circumstances, I believe a full refund is warranted. The experience did not meet even basic cleanliness and functionality standards, let alone those associated with your brand.

I recently stayed at this hotel and the overall experience was okay. The property seemed noticeably understaffed, which affected service throughout my stay. There is nobody to answer the phone when you call for assistance.

The pool area was another letdown—there were no towels available, they are not restocked quickly given the fact that the pool was not even busy. It took 1-2 hours for them to restock.

The suite was very spacious, however, the bathroom was quite small and felt cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably.

Breakfast was also underwhelming. We had to ask for sausages and bacon from the omelette station, these items should’ve been more accessible. The omelette station is another disappointment, it took us 30-45 minutes to get the omelette.

Overall, the hotel has potential, but improvements in staffing, amenities, and breakfast offerings are definitely needed to provide a better guest experience.

The hotel is alright, but it could use a bit of a refresh. The housekeeping and front desk staff are friendly. Just a heads-up: the room phone doesn’t work for calls, so you’ll need to head to the front desk to get what you need. The kitchen/breakfast area wasn’t quite up to par for me. I understand the staff might be a bit frustrated and a bit short-tempered, especially with so many people and not enough staff. They only have one server at the omelette station where the bacon and sausage are, which is a bit of a setup issue. Plus, there’s no meat outside the buffet, so you’ll have to wait in line for that too. The line is pretty long. I suggested to my kids that they grab what they want at the buffet, and I’d get their omelette. Two of my kids were in line with me to get their dad and grandma, who can’t stand for 30 minutes because of a medical issue, but the staff probably didn’t realize it. The person in front of me got three for her kids, so I figured I could get some for others in the family. I think I might have misunderstood the sign about one omelette per person. It seems like they want the person to be present in line to get the omelette, which could make the line even longer. The person behind me got upset and confronted me, which was a bit frustrating. I’m not sure what the management’s thinking behind that. Maybe it’s a cost-cutting measure. If the bacon and sausage are out of that station, perhaps we could just skip the omelette.

We were there during spring break and there were a lot of families. The property was extremely dirty. Full trash cans outside of rooms, two dirty diapers on the ground, trash left on tables overnight. In general, there didn’t seem to be much effort to keep things clean and tidy. The room was a little shabby and had a bit of a smell. I will not be returning.

I'm just disappointed that Happy Hour used to start at 5:00 PM but now begins at 5:30 PM, and breakfast—which used to run from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM—now ends at 9:00 AM. They cut an hour off; they really should go back to the old schedule.

The property was nice. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable but the couch in the front room looked very old and was very caved in. I’m glad one of our kids did not end up going with us so we didn’t end up needing that sleeping space.

Breakfast was good but the wait was long.

Staff are very nice. Rooms are a little dirty and the property is messy. The breakfast had one server and the line is a very long wait so we left. The bartender is very nice, I was just disappointed with the overall experience. Had higher expectations.
