The bathtub caulking was disgusting and mildew. The shower had no shampoo and no lotion in the lotion bottle. I am completely shocked that you discover this mid shower. I was able to text from front desk attendant and was able to get lotion and shampoo after 20 minutes but by then I was done with my shower. The room as stinky when you walked in with a musty smell. The couch in the front room had a big stain on it. For the money I would spend my money elsewhere as there were hotels across the street. Nice to have complimentary happy hour and omelette for breakfast was nice. The pool was nice but often there were no towels available. Just overall not impressed for the money I spent. Would NOT stay here again. Very dated and they aren’t maintaining the rooms.

The rooms are a bit dated..shower valve broke and had to change rooms. Hot water came n went and the common areas though very nice are dirty and not kept up on a daily basis. It needs a good steam cleaning in n around the common area. I also resent the charge for parking..Really , they have plenty of it and it should be free.

We have stayed at several Embassy Suites, but it had been quite a while since we’ve been to this location.
From the minute we arrived the front desk staff, Maggie and Aaron, made us feel welcomed. They were very friendly and helpful.
The facility was VERY clean and I can’t say enough about all the employees. It shows they take pride in their work. Their positive attitudes and smiles just added to the relaxed atmosphere.
Breakfast was delicious. We were greeted like we were at a friends house for breakfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. The staff were amazing—so friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The hotel was spotless and very spacious, which made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. We truly wished we could have stayed longer. The pool, hot tub and sunshine was so inviting and off course the pickleball across from the hotel was an added bonus. A big shout out to the Reception staff. The girl who checked us in was so friendly. We will definitely be back.

Staff was very friendly no matter who we passed if maintenance, breakfast staff or front desk all very friendly and helpful. AC was down the first night. Reservation were not complete due to using 3rd party reservation service. (Expedia) Exterior walkways were in need of painting. Exterior doors
were dirty. Furniture in rooms need replacing or upgrading. Bathroom/ shower needs some TLC. Wallpaper around shower is coming off and caulking is peeling off wall and doors.
We will not be staying here again.
On the plus side, the front desk staff was very professional and helpfull.

I stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Palm Desert and honestly, it was very underwhelming.

First off, it’s advertised as being close to Palm Springs — it’s not. It’s a solid 25–27 minute drive without traffic, which makes going back and forth for plans, outfit changes, or anything spontaneous extremely inconvenient.

The pool is tiny compared to how it looks in photos, and it was packed with kids nonstop (likely due to spring break), making it hard to enjoy.

For the price—especially even considering pre-Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and spring break—the condition of the hotel is not acceptable. The room felt old, worn down, and far from fresh. There was a strong unpleasant odor, stained carpets, and overall it just didn’t feel clean.

Maintenance issues were everywhere: broken blinds and curtains, poor sink drainage, damaged ceiling fixtures, and extremely loud air conditioning that made it nearly impossible to sleep. On top of that, the noise level was terrible—thin walls, loud floors, constant neighbor noise, and metal gates/doors slamming at all hours.

The bathroom was very small and outdated.

Breakfast hours were inconvenient, so I didn’t even try it. They offered two free drinks, but that didn’t really make up for anything.

The only positives: staff was friendly, check-in was fast, and parking was easy. That said, charging $15 for parking on a property with this much space feels unnecessary.

Overall, very disappointing and not worth the price.

The hotel was awful from the moment we checked in!
We were not greeted or treated with any kind of respect when we checked in. The room smelled horrible with such an overpowering and overwhelming perfume scent. We had to open a window (only allowed to open an inch or two) and I had such a bad allergic reaction to the scent and could barely sleep! The breakfast was horrible, out of everything and a sign posted with food poisoning symptoms didn’t give me any comfort in eating the food. The pool had a sign posted telling you not to use it if you’d had diarrhea in the past 14 days…gross! We decided to leave and got no help from Travelocity to try and rebook a different hotel. Save your money and don’t stay at this awful hotel and avoid Travelocity as well! What a nightmare!

I am writing to formally request a full refund for our recent stay at your property, as the conditions were unacceptable and far below the standards expected of an Embassy Suites hotel.

During our stay, we experienced multiple serious issues:

No towels were available at the pool on several occasions.
Mold was present in the bathtubs in two different rooms.
Both rooms had broken tub stoppers.
Towels provided were old and felt like worn rags.
We found hair inside the drawers, which prevented us from unpacking.
Breakfast service used plastic utensils, which was unexpected for this level of hotel.
Upon late check-in, the lobby floor was being mopped, and we were asked to wait until it dried before checking in.
There was a persistent unpleasant odor in the room.
Furniture, including couches, appeared run-down and poorly maintained.

We initially raised concerns and were moved to another room; however, the same issues were present there as well. This occurred late at night, leaving us with no reasonable option but to remain and endure the conditions.

Most concerning, due to the mold and non-functioning tub stoppers, we were unable to safely bathe ourselves or our children during the entire stay. This created a significant level of discomfort and concern for our family.

Given these circumstances, I believe a full refund is warranted. The experience did not meet even basic cleanliness and functionality standards, let alone those associated with your brand.

I recently stayed at this hotel and the overall experience was okay. The property seemed noticeably understaffed, which affected service throughout my stay. There is nobody to answer the phone when you call for assistance.

The pool area was another letdown—there were no towels available, they are not restocked quickly given the fact that the pool was not even busy. It took 1-2 hours for them to restock.

The suite was very spacious, however, the bathroom was quite small and felt cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably.

Breakfast was also underwhelming. We had to ask for sausages and bacon from the omelette station, these items should’ve been more accessible. The omelette station is another disappointment, it took us 30-45 minutes to get the omelette.

Overall, the hotel has potential, but improvements in staffing, amenities, and breakfast offerings are definitely needed to provide a better guest experience.

The hotel is alright, but it could use a bit of a refresh. The housekeeping and front desk staff are friendly. Just a heads-up: the room phone doesn’t work for calls, so you’ll need to head to the front desk to get what you need. The kitchen/breakfast area wasn’t quite up to par for me. I understand the staff might be a bit frustrated and a bit short-tempered, especially with so many people and not enough staff. They only have one server at the omelette station where the bacon and sausage are, which is a bit of a setup issue. Plus, there’s no meat outside the buffet, so you’ll have to wait in line for that too. The line is pretty long. I suggested to my kids that they grab what they want at the buffet, and I’d get their omelette. Two of my kids were in line with me to get their dad and grandma, who can’t stand for 30 minutes because of a medical issue, but the staff probably didn’t realize it. The person in front of me got three for her kids, so I figured I could get some for others in the family. I think I might have misunderstood the sign about one omelette per person. It seems like they want the person to be present in line to get the omelette, which could make the line even longer. The person behind me got upset and confronted me, which was a bit frustrating. I’m not sure what the management’s thinking behind that. Maybe it’s a cost-cutting measure. If the bacon and sausage are out of that station, perhaps we could just skip the omelette.

Full trash cans outside of rooms, two dirty diapers on the ground, trash left on tables overnight. In general, there didn’t seem to be much effort to keep things clean and tidy. Omar from the housekeeping staff was also very nice and was able to help me with getting me the towels I requested. He also checked with us daily to see if we needed anything from them. If we ever need a place to stay we will definitely be back, the staff was very accommodating and nice.

Comfortable room (although the bathroom is pretty tiny), welcoming staff and well located, close to stores and restaurants. The pool area however could be much cleaner (lots of trash all around, it seems no one ever checks out throughout the day), the water is freezing cold and the jacuzzi is CONSTANTLY occupied by little kids. Not a very peaceful area to be sitting at after a day of exploring the canyons and shopping. The bar tender and restaurant staff were also very nice. We appreciated the 2 free drinks too during Happy Hour!

Photos are very misleading. This is NOT up to embassy suites’ standards. Dirty, messy, grounds that look unkept and need major work. Rooms were old, bathrooms were old. Rooms felt musty and unclean generally. Pool was very dirty and murky. Food was not like any other embassy suites I’ve stayed at. Front desk was extremely unhelpful. My child needed a restroom and we were told there are none. None in lobby, by pool, or anywhere other than the room. If I could give 0 stars I would. Also, the location is NOT Indian wells. It is Palm desert. Horrible experience will not stay again

Definitely not a place I would recommend staying at. The first room we were provided did not cool down, the AC was not working properly. They tried to fix it and after being in the room for about 4 hours we had to pack everything up and moved to another room that seemed smaller but the AC was working only to find out later that the bathroom door did not close. We went down to the lobby to inform them, only to be told that maintenence waa done for the day and no one could go check on it. We had five people on our reservation and were only provided 3 hand towels and 3 bath towels. We had to go to the lobby and ask for additional towels. The room we were moved to had someone's personal items in one of the drawers, the items were turned in to the staff at the reception area. The two rooms we were in were had several carpet stains, dirty walls, dirty lamps, dirty couches, along with worn furniture. The trash cans around the property had overflowing trash and filthy floors, they definitely need more housekeeping all around including a good pressure washiing. I took out my own trash to the big trash can at the end of the hall several times, which should be cleared out from there by housekeeping a few times a day. On one of the nights I took out my trash and placed it in the trash can around 8pm only to still find it there the next morning when I passed by around 11am. The pool was another story, some days it was so filty with moths, bees and other debris, along with murky water.

I've stayed at plenty of Embassy Suites over the years and unfortunately, this hotel was one of my least favorites. While the exterior of the hotel was nice, the inside of each unit was a different story. The bathrooms were extremely small and in not great shape. It was clear that the ceiling had experienced some leaks as the paint had bubbled and sagged and there were holes in the paint where the liquid had been drained. There was rust and holes in the wall throughout.

One of the worst parts about this is the structural integrity of the building itself. We were in a ground floor room and when the guests above us came home for the night, EVERY single step they had upstairs was accompanied with a *thud* as well as creaks in the floor. And it is not an exaggeration when I say EVERY SINGLE STEP was met with a thud/vibration as well as a creaking. Imagine this late at night as well as early early in the morning when your room is otherwise dead silent.

The breakfast at this location was also the worst I've ever experienced at an Embassy Suites. The only hot food items they had available were scrambled eggs and potatoes. The omelette line was always at least 10-15 people deep and at 3-5 minutes per omelette, there was no way I was going to stand in line for 45 minutes for one.

One of the pros was that the hotel staff that checked us in was very friendly and efficient. But other than that, the stay as a whole was unfortunately met with disappointment after disappointment.

The breakfast was great with made to order omelets and other standard serve-yourself fare. The complimentary happy hour each night was an added bonus. Complimentary coffee was available all day in the lobby. Our room was spacious and the layout worked well with a separate living room with an extremely comfortable couch. The 21 court Paradise Pickleball facility associated with the hotel was fabulous. You pay a drop in fee to play. The pool was clean and the grounds well kept. I would definitely return to this hotel.

For many years I travelled and stayed at Embassy Suites due to having a large family. It always worked. This particular property is in need of updating/upgrading. I would guess that has not happened in many years. The bed was fine, the sofa in the main area was rock hard. The bathroom was dimly lit and not in great condition. I recommend Embassy Suites in general, but not this one. The staff was very nice, happy hour was good.

The location of the room was disappointing. The entrance was right next to the elevator, and the bedroom window faced the garbage area, which was unpleasant. The bathroom was also surprisingly small compared to the size of the room. Other than that, everything was fine.

Could not reach front desk from room nor the hotel from outside the hotel. Phone just rang… no phone tree or vm option. Staff was unaware when I told them the first night but not concerned. The fourth day they acknowledged there was a problem but didn’t know why or if it was being resolved. We called corporate Hilton to report it and they could not reach ES either.
Housekeeping was not every day. Didn’t mop wet dirty bathroom floor. I requested towels and mopping on 3rd evening but housekeeping had left so I tipped laundry person to do it. (Becky - thank you)
Laundry room had an out of order sign on door.
Hotel side entrance door near our room could not be opened wide as the arm hinge was hanging loose blocking opening. Reported that and they dismantled hinge/arm so it was always open.
Breakfast food was fine but the buffet setup was disorganized. Ex. Knives spoons in one area but forks across room.
Pull out couch had horrible mattress. Antonio (great!) came to put sheets on it and offered a topper. Not much better so I requested another flimsy topper on second night and had a bit less pain in morning. Need to replace mattresses in couches or get better toppers.
Didn’t appear to be managed or maintained. Expected more from a Hilton ES. Will not stay there again.

The property is really run down, and needs to be remodeled! There was mold in shower and water damage on the bathroom door. Our stay was $400 a night. It felt like a motel 6 not a Hilton. Our group rented 5 rooms and we were all disappointed. The staff was great! They brought me plastic silverware when asked. Hilton needs to pressure the owners to remodel!

Very disappointed in the condition of the room, very outdated compared to the photos on the website, our room had spider webs, walls were dirty, bathroom was so tiny you are basically on the toilet while washing your hands in the sink. The condition of the bathroom is kind of sad, paint pealing, dirty doors, the exterior grounds were in much better condition than the rooms. This weekend was supposed to be special for my husband’s birthday but the room was definitely a disappointing factor.

While there were a few positives, our overall experience was disappointing. The rooms felt very outdated, and the bathroom was quite small. Unfortunately, the shower did not work well, and our room wasn’t the cleanest—there was trash left behind from previous guests, which was unacceptable. The walls were also very thin, and we could easily hear noise from neighboring rooms as well as the people above us.

That said, the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, and we really enjoyed the outdoor area—it was beautiful, clean, and the pool was very nice.

However, the parking fees were ridiculous and added to the frustration. Because of these issues, we will definitely not be staying here again.

The carpet was filthy and my foot and socks black. The furniture was outdated by decades and the TV reception was terrible and channel selection was poor. It was almost equivalent to a Motel 6. I have stayed at Embassy many times but this was the worse condition I have seen in the rooms.

Checking in was disappointing. I reserved a 1 BR suite with walkin shower to accommodate my wife. She is unable to stand. The shower was over a bathtub which my wife couldn’t step into. They offered a different room with walkin shower but her shower chair would not fit thru the door! And, she cannot walk.
Then we wanted to order room service dinner, but the restaurant is closed on Mondays.
We will stay here again. A bad start for my wife’s birthday celebration.

The location is good and there are plenty of restaurants and the El Paseo Garden Mall is five minutes away. We were there for the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament and shuttle buses were available to take us to and from the garden. The hotel is older and the shower plumbing was not good. The breakfast was very nice.

The sounds of the unit above us due to the buildings structural creakiness did not allow us to sleep at all. Guests above us seemed to be walking normal and doing normal things but it was like it was an 1850s building as far as noise

The room was completely disgusting. Wallpaper coming off the walls, bathroom was full of water stains, rug was fully stained. The worst were the bugs around the room from the bedside table to the washroom. It is very run down room and would not consider staying again. The AC took literally hours to cool down the room and very noisy.
