Enjoyed this Inn with granddaughter immensely! The big pool & nice hot tub were clean & well maintained landscaping around the pool. The suite we stayed in was very clean & we enjoyed our stay very much. It’s an older Inn - in great shape at a very reasonable price. Very nice!

I arrived after hours and there was no parking available for my car. I had to park on the street. There was no one in the office. I had to push a button and wait for someone to get out of bed. The rooms are dated but quaint. I travel to Palm desert frequently. I will return to a better hotel and pay a little more.

My husband and I have stayed at this property several times. What separated it from most hotels was a fabulous homemade breakfast. Unfortunately the city had to shut it down. I felt the hotel should been more supportive to keep such a lovely venue open. In the room: The coffee maker didn’t work. The TV didn’t work and the air conditioner kept us up half the night going off and on and making noises as if it was going to break and spill water all over the floor. Sadly, my husband and I will not stay here again. It’s a cute retro hotel, but lost its charm The pool is still fabulous.

The room was very clean and spacious. It had two queen beds that were very comfortable, a large couch, and a cute kitchenette with a small dining room table. It had everything you need to cook meals when traveling. The refrigerator was big enough to fit a lot of things. I loved how the balcony was! The view was amazing. You can see the mountains at a distance . The staff were super nice and attentive. A huge plus was that we were able to bring our dog along for a small fee. I was there with 3 of my friends for a bachelorette weekend. We hung out at the pool and went to downtown Palm Springs at night. Loved the vibe! Will definitely be coming back soon.

We did like the property, however there were a few items that we noted and felt some concern over. Just to clarify also we stayed in the villa side of the property, not at the main hotel. When we arrive, we went to enjoy the Jacuzzi the first night and found that it was not heated on the villa side. Also on the last night that we stayed at the property there was what appeared to be a rat scurrying around in the ceiling. I first noticed it around 1:30 AM and it continued on through first light. I actually captured the sound on video. We truly did like the accommodations however, those things did affect how we would rate the overall experience.

This place was great! WAY better than a hotel. It had a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, etc. my room was awesome. It had two bathrooms. Both had everything I needed such as shampoo, soap, trash cans, towels… I would stay here over any hotel. The only downside was the parking. There are not many spots so I had to park on the street. But the actual inn was very nice to stay at. If I’m in the area again I will definitely stay there.

Quaint place with good location. Staff was very friendly and property was clean. Rooms are a bit dated but to be expected for the area and not dated in a bad way. My significant other thought everything was clean and good to go, I felt there could be a bit more attention to detail in the room cleaning (dust on furniture/tile floors are hard to keep up) but I would absolutely come back!

We stayed here during Coachella and it was amazing. It’s right across the street from the Albertsons shuttle stop which was never that busy so it was super easy to get to the festival. And when we arrived we got upgraded to a suite which was amazing. It was so great to have a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again.

I wanted this place to be the charming little hotel it said it was in the reviews, but it’s really a worn out motel that needs everything deep cleaned, painted or updated. My room had been wiped down but was far from clean. Stains on the bedding, floors, and walls + the furniture was all beat up and miss matched. This place is a 5, not a 9.. I would have stayed at Motel 6 had I known how off putting this place would be..

I have no complaints about this property, as this is one of the cheapest inns that is near the shuttle stop for Coachella. The pool is literally in front of our room, but we didn't even use it. There's a small cafe on the property that serves breakfast. It was so cozy, the vibe is so laid back, and if I were given an option to go back here, I would =) just because the other options out there were MORE EXPENSIVE, especially during APRIL.

I stayed for 2 nights and it was the perfect location to stay to visit Death Valley. I had one of the patio rooms which was nice to sit outside the room to watch the sunset or have your meal or cup of coffee in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Hidden Gem We Keep Coming Back To

This has to be our 12th or 13th stay at the Otobee Inn over the last couple of years—and we make it a point to come back at least 3–5 times every year. That alone should say a lot.
The decor is definitely a bit dated (think late 80s / early 90s), but honestly, that’s part of the charm. It has a cozy, nostalgic feel that’s hard to find these days.

Most rooms come with a kitchenette, which is a huge plus for families—you can cook your own meals, and there are also two BBQ grills available. The pool is technically open 24 hours as long as guests are respectful, which adds a relaxed, trust-based vibe you don’t see often.
The crowd is another highlight—most guests are friendly, and a surprising number are locals enjoying a staycation. It feels safe, welcoming, and very family-oriented. Great for kids, great for unwinding.

Location is super convenient—just about a 5-minute drive to Uptown shopping and several other centers, so everything you need is close by.

Now, if I’m being honest… I almost don’t want to recommend it (not trying to gatekeep… but kind of 😅).

But seriously, it’s a great place to stay—very affordable, comfortable, and consistently welcoming.

Big shoutout to Viviana at the front desk and the entire cleaning crew—they’re always kind, attentive, and make every stay even better.

Looking forward to our next visit!

Excellent place to stay, staff were friendly, pool was open 24/7. I would definitely recommend. The only thing I would have liked different would be if cutlery and plates/bowls were provided. We went to the Albertsons, two minutes away, and bought some so it wasn't the end of the world. Am definitely planning on returning as they clearly care about the clientele.

This little place is a gem in the desert landscape. It’s clean, quiet, and a tad bit nostalgic. The bed was comfy, the air conditioner worked great, and we had a good size balcony. They had complementary water and snacks in the room. It was a nice touch. The only thing that you need to know is, if you have a difficult time with stairs, ask for a ground floor room. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep.

A very quaint and artsy hotel. Even has a small putting green near the hot tub and pool. Rooms are updated although there are still some older amenities from long past that you just won't find in newer hotels such as electric coil wall heater in bathroom, to built in exaust fan with pull string in kitchen. These features add to the great 60's vibe this hotel has to offer. Also is located in a great location if arriving using the 74 highway. I would stay here again.

She was very courteous and also recommended a couple restaurants that I went to. When I open my my hotel room. I was not expecting what I saw. It was huge very clean. This Inn was a very old & outdated property with limited parking & hardly any housekeeping service at all. There were some very noisy & aggressive dogs near us, which was very disturbing!! There should be a limit to \"pet friendly\" properties. The best thing about this place was Vivianna (front desk) & Kevin (Mgr) who did their best to try to relocate us to a better property. This was not meant to be a \"long-term stay\" property. Unfortunately we were there for 3 long weeks because of Hotels.com misleading way of billing us. We tried to check out to go elsewhere, but the owner would not give us a refund & we couldn't afford to leave & pay double!

Very cool and unique little hotel. They had a pool that was 8 feet deep, which is rare these days. There was a small coffee shop in the hotel lobby where you could get excellent cappuccinos and mocha or other coffee drinks. I would definitely stay again. The price was also affordable.

Front desk check-in person very helpful and pleasant. My wife and I have minor mobility issues, so I had requested a ground floor room. She assigned us the room closest to the parking lot, which was greatly appreciated. Large, clean well-appointed room; hard surface floor, which is always preferable. This is not a luxury resort, but a clean, well-maintained property. We'd definitely stay again.

I love this hotel. It’s small and obviously not new, but the staff is great, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The pool area is beautiful and the whole place is very well maintained. We’ve stayed over a few times while driving to Mexico and are never disappointed. We’ll be back for sure.
