Ridiculously expensive for a very average room experience. The amenities are wonderful and the restaurants are decent but the room for what you pay for is certainly not worth it. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous which makes up for the lack of consistent cleaning, old furniture, saggy mattress and 4 star accommodations.

This historic resort is a gem and one of the most beautiful properties to stay! The grounds keepers obviously know what they are doing! Unfortunately the rest of the staff (front desk registration, manager, many of restaurant staff, some pool staff, some housekeeping, etc) are borderline incompetent and not hard workers! Each year it seems to get worse.
The resort manager needs to go! We want this property to shine and be around for years to come!

The room had no view whatsoever and it was a long way to the restaurants or lobby had dinner at Morgans Steak house one night and they forgot part of the order and we only saw the server at the time of order and to pay never got offered another beverage the whole time and had to let him know to not charge us for everything as we didn’t get it

I never went to the hotel. I never checked in. I called them to confirm I did not go, and we agreed I was not checked in and did not have a confirmation number. This hotel was all fraudulent. They took savings from me a very poor man. I am reversing charges and I am not happy. Never go to this hotel.

Our first night, the restaurants were all closed except Morgan’s which had no availability. We checked in late, after a long day of travel, and had to leave the property to find dinner. There was a long wait at all of the restaurants in the nearby town. It was a huge hassle. The weirdest part was that neither front desk person mentioned it to me when I checked in. I overheard someone else talking to a front desk receptionist and had to ask if it was true.

We also found a large cockroach in our room.

We stayed at La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs for five nights in Room 433, and overall had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with lush landscaping and stunning mountain views throughout the property.
The resort offers numerous amenities and dining options, making it easy to enjoy everything without leaving the property. There are multiple pools and hot tubs scattered throughout, including a main pool, lap pool, and an adults-only pool with a bar. We really enjoyed exploring and trying the different pool areas during our stay.
We dined at both the Grab & Go Market and Adobe Grill, and were pleased with the convenience and quality of the food.
Our room was very comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, featuring a dedicated luggage area, wet bar, king-size bed, seating area, gas fireplace, and a spacious bathroom. The private porch, which overlooked the pool and mountains, was a wonderful place to relax.
My only minor complaints were that the shower water pressure was just okay, and the motion-sensor light in the bathroom kept turning off while I was still in the shower, which was a bit frustrating.
The resort is located about 45 minutes from Palm Springs, which made it feel like a true getaway. As a nice bonus, the hotel hosted a New Year’s Eve party for guests, adding an extra special touch to our stay.
Overall, we had a very peaceful and relaxing experience and would absolutely consider returning.

After a last-minute cancellation by a VRBO host we were so lucky to get a two rooms at La Quinta over New Year’s Eve holiday. Richard at the front desk was so wonderful in trying to help us find rooms together and The staff is very lovely here. The resort is nice and has an old-fashioned feel. Could use a little bit more maintenance and clean up around the common areas but maybe it’s because it was a holiday mm weekend. Overall, we had a great stay.

I had a wonderful stay at La Quinta! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made my stay very relaxing. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. I really appreciated how convenient the location was and how easy everything felt from check-in to check-out. It was great except the checking-in part which consisted of a very long line, hence a long check-in. There was only one person checking people-in and then a second came along and that did not help much. On a holiday weekend you should plan for lots of people!!!

The check-in process was honestly a nightmare. The room was over an hour late being ready and then when we finally were able to go to the room the keys wouldn’t work. They took forever to send someone so I had to walk all the way back to the front. The next day we were still getting ready when housekeeping came so we asked them to come back later but they never did. We called twice to ask and no one ever came. We had to go get clean towels ourselves.
Also the bath tub had what looked like the previous guest’s hair all over it and they left a wrapper by the tub as well. Really frustrating. Otherwise the property is beautiful.

The room smelled musty and the doormat had not been swept so we had to walk over a lot of leaves. The walkways had muddy water on a lot of them so you had to be careful where you stepped. Other than that, a lovely resort. Great staff.

I like it but not enough to come back.

Having stayed at this property numerous times over the years. It’s definitely evident that the services are less and the maintenance is more reactive than proactive.

Cheapened by the new addition of swaths of artificial grass in once was beautiful green grassed areas.

The service is pretty much non existent and compared to how it used to be, you now need to actively find someone if you want assistance.

It’s sad, but clearly it needs an injection of more money than is willing to be spent to bring it up to its former glory.

It’s was nice, just nothing special.

And they now charge for self parking which always amazes me considering almost every guest arriving is self driving. Just why do this? It cheapens the property - but I guess that’s what happens when the brand is downgraded.

I’ve never stayed somewhere so nice, and the amenities are endless. And all of the staff there really go out of their way to make sure your stay is as good as can be. We threw our itinerary away because we loved the resort so much and couldn’t be convinced to leave. Can’t wait to come back annually!

Love visiting La Quinta and the team members are so helpful and welcoming. The resort is beautiful but the casitas are showing wear and need some upgrades, IMO. Ate at Adobe Grill this time and were pleasantly surprised by the vibe, live music and the food- it was good! Parking was a bit tough this visit bc there were several events/meetings in the resort but overall a good stay.

It was a wonderful vacation. I visit the Palm Springs area a couple times a year and have stayed in different properties and nothing compares to La Quinta Resort especially if you are with kids. We will definitely be back!
