Could not check in until 6:00 pm, no hot water the first night, didn't get around to cleaning our room the next day till 6:15 pm.
Over all terrible and not cheap room was $214.00 per night. Never going to a motel 6 anywhere!

No amenities to speak of. No refrigerator in room, no coffee maker, they did not even supply complimentary shampoo until we asked at the desk. No facial tissue, not even for the asking.
Our room with two double beds was big enough for one. One bed smashed up against the air conditioning unit at the front window, the other smack against the opposite wall, and only a narrow space between.
Every night when we came back to our room the keys would not work, so we were forced to trek down to the office to have new keys made. And listen to excuses like maybe we put them too close to a phone instead of sincere apologies for our inconvenience.
I certainly would never consider staying there again.

Check in lady was not pleasant. The room was disgusting, there was bugs!, (we had a bottom floor room)the people upstairs were up 24-7 and it was like they were moving furniture all night. Train tracks were across the street so the overall location of this place sucks. I will never stay here again. I will pay the extra $ for another place.

Staff was welcoming, but the room was not as clean as it could have been. Dirt in the sink and the shower. Also, right on the train line and near the highway, so there was a lot of road noise. Nonetheless, the bed was clean and comfortable. For a two-night stay, we managed.

Staff was great. No information for where the ice machine is located. *Inside next to office. No plastic bag for plastic bucket. Shower head too low and scrubbed out floor in shower. Stained sheets but comfy bed. Loud air conditioner in room but kept room very cool.

The room didn’t have a remote and the front desk didn’t have any, the room smelled like cigarettes and it was a non smoking room, the pool wasn’t clean, the toilet seat had pubic hair before we even used it, there’s so much drug activity there, a man kept honking at me when passing by to where he followed me around the hotel while in his van, the ice machine area was dirty and you have to pay for the small shampoo conditioner and other little amenities they usually offer in other hotels. I would never stay again… but the 3 male staff were nice… one checked me in, David is one who I gave my complaints too who also gave the next day clerk my complaints and the next day clerk was able to give me back some of my pay which is good

When the back of the soap packaging gives a number to report human trafficking… you realize you might have chosen the wrong motel.
Noisy aggressive guests, women selling themselves, and open substance use. Clean room, was very concerned my car would be vandalized… based on the other vandalized cars. Friendly staff. Very inexpensive room tho!

Budget traveling, motel 6 are usually nice enough, including the ones around this area. Checked out after 1 night, due to unsafe/sketchy location, unsanitary room conditions, including bugs, hair, residue etc. save your money and go else where.

We stayed here last minute with our puppers. I was able to book and check in quickly and easily. The staff were friendly and accommodating. While not the best \"neighborhood\" the grounds were well lit at night and free of debris. The room was small but clean and met our needs.

What did not go well. The person who checked me carried a bat in her hand (an actual baseball bat). She was nice to me but I was uncertain as to why she had a bat. The bat was not for me but it was needed for another customer. There was homeless in the parking lot talking really loud.

The staff gave me a hard time checking in I used to check in 15-30 mins with no problem but the staff didn’t allow me on top of that my room wasn’t ready yet if I didn’t check in early the won’t even bother to clean it house keeping clean the room 5 mins early and I was expecting they will allow me to check in but instead he told me if I check in before 3 which is 5 mins to 3 I’ll be paying 25 dollars more he was very inconsiderate!!!

Surrounded by substance users, homeless & people that play music & stay up all night . As well as prostitutes in the neighbour suite with VERY thin walls. The front door didn’t close properly. We generally feared for our safety. I tried to talk to the front desk and was refused a refund for our second night; they did not seam interested in our concerns. We ended up checking out early and loosing our money for the second night. We needed to feel safe . Please, don’t even consider staying here. It was awful!

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but I had to wait for check in so the drapes could be repaired, and then I had to ask for the very loose toilet seat to be repaired, and for more than one towel. Lights were difficult to turn on and off because only one of them was on a wall switch, and the bathroom light kept flickering. However, I appreciated the long cabinet surface in the bedroom, the counter space by the bathroom sink, and the shower head spray and hot water.

Staff was courteous at check-in and out. Door lock issue in the beginning was quickly resolved. No complaints with water or room temps and TV worked fine. Floor boards were separating in places and bed mattress slumped. Soap only, shampoo costs extra. Hair dryer at front desk, when available.

The location is convenient to Indio sights. It is also adjacent to a major road and to two train tracks. The passing of long trains, sometimes two at a time, was frequent and quite loud if staying in a front side room. The discounted room price was good for this area but getting a good night's sleep is problematic.

The woman who checked us in was excellent. We needed to change rooms and she was very accommodating. Rooms are very basic--I think the odd numbered rooms don't have fridges and the even numbered rooms do. But everything is very clean and there are lawns for dog relief all around.

Había cosas rescatables, la cama era cómoda, y el chico de la recepción aunque era muy serio, era amable, pero la habitación era muy pequeña y bastante ruidosa, lo.que hablaban en los demás cuartos o en la banqueta se escuchaba como si fuera junto a tu cama y en la.mañana ví una pequeña cucaracha en el baño.Si fue muy barato, y cumplía con el propósito de descansar después de un viaje largo, pero quizá habría sido mejor otra opción

Property & rms are run down. Shower stall in first room was moldy. There was no soap in 2nd room & shower stall doesn't close. Stained sheets. Nonsmoking rooms reek of smoke. Disappointing customer service from large, Hispanic lady at front desk. No apology. She didnt want any complaints & asked me to leave. She was more accommodating toward a white lady i.e asking her which rm she wanted, being patient w/ her.

Very poor, during the time of booking from expedia, it said there was referigerator but was not included. Secondly there were lot of flies in the room also complained at front desk but they just said i m sorry for that. Thunderbolt lock did not work. Drainage at the sink was some how blocked. Multiple issues but no resolution. When i asked the gentleman at front desk for manager he said manager is not here. Motel did not care about their customers at all.

The room was clean and attractive. The people at the front desk were friendly and professional. There were a couple of homeless there most of the time but people actually looked after the man who sat in front of the motel. They brought him the LA Times and food. I was impressed. But the hotel found the presence of the homeless a negative and who could blame them. The real negative was the setting. Noting near but highways and the Southern Pacific Railroad with pretty noisy trains most of the day. I didn't mind because I'm a train guy but others might. The only food nearby was the Mexican Dino cafe at the service station next door. Nice folks, ordinary food.

I had instructions that I wanted a room on the ground floor because I had a elderly dog. Upon arriving, I had noticed how sketchy the area looked with homeless people hanging about the front lobby area. The Staff said that they had nothing on the ground floor even though there were hardly any cars. They would not work with me, so I cancelled my room for the weekend. I reserved this room with my credit card and was hopeful that it would be guaranteed. I even left my phone number as a contact. With this experience with Motel 6 in this location, I probably won't stay there again.

The building is showing its age, poor repairs done - caulking, bathroom fan sounded horrible , removed the cover - very dirty and unplugged it. Staff were courteous enough - quiet enough after the last guests arrived. Access to the place is odd if you coming from the one side - need to loop around the block to enter the parking lot.

They would not let me stay there but stole my money like I did stay , they refused my paper id and now there acting like I checked in which I never did I lost my money on this one and they acted like I stayed there , I never checked in they were rude and denied my reservation so I ended up staying I. A different hotel I’m super upset and seriously angry with this motel 6 I’m planning on suing them for the way I was treated and them stealing my money like I was there which I was not , I can not express the disrespect I was subjected to I have traveled for the last 2 weeks after losing my wallet with a paper id that everyone accepted except for this motel 6 in Indio ca , I really hope something is done for this thievery & disrespect that I have just experienced, I have traveled my whole life and have never been so disappointed and disrespected in my whole life like the way this motel 6 has done me, the people behind the desk were no help except for the stealing of my hard earned money I have learned my lesson about the way motel 6 has done me ,ten thumbs down for this motel 6 in Indio ca.

Check in was supposed to be at 3pm. Front desk said they don’t have any rooms available. Checked in at 6pm. They gave me 4 different sets of keys 4 times, non of them worked to open the door. Every time the front desk person walked up to open the door for me. Upon checking out I asked for a refund for the 3 hours I had to wait, front desk refused. I stated that their check in says 3pm, he said unfortunately we didn’t have any rooms for you, no refund.
Be very careful when booking with this motel. Keys don’t work and there’s no guarantee you will have a room with a reservation.
