Pools were lovely. Room was very nice. Activities were not consistently done and in wrong locations which was frustrating since I have young kids who would’ve loved them. Cleaning of the room was inconsistent. For the amount we paid I expected more. Food was good but overpriced. Valet was excellent.

I will say most of the staff was amazing, helpful, outside of who checked us in. I didn’t get any information other than our room key card so I figured WiFi password, room service, info on resturaunts/gold spa etc would be in the room (I’m pretty tech savvy and self sufficient but there was none of that info). I was very confused there wasn’t a WiFi password, room service option I just assumed maybe room service wasn’t available. I tried finding the guide on the tv- it was black until day 2 the tv guide magically appeared for the grand Hyatt must have activated because it came onto the TV all of a sudden and I said oh it is. I also thought it was kind of weird because I was interested in upgrading to a villa from a normal room. Basically it was just like yeah we have rooms available, but there wasn’t any kind of.

We had an incredible stay. The resort is stunning. So gorgeous and clean! We travelled with a 6 and 9 year old. Tons to do for them. Lots of daily activities. The pools and waterslides are so much fun. The food is excellent but you are paying resort prices. We will definitely be back.

Staff can improve hospitality instead of just saying no to everything or just act to be supportive while have no real intent of helping customers! I request a room upgrade and which was denied and I saw guest next to my room who got room upgrade!! The resort is beautiful but staff is not so humble and supportive

The three-star rating is entirely due to a significant and ongoing issue with housekeeping. The problem was serious, persisted longer than it should have, and materially impacted the stay.

What prevented this from being a worse experience was the front desk team. Lauren’s leadership was steady and decisive once she became involved, and the response from her team was thoughtful and effective. Tristin in particular went well beyond the desk. He personally escorted me to a new room, inspected it with me to make sure the issue was fully resolved, and followed up again to ensure we were settled. He was supported throughout by Sebastian, and together they took real ownership of the situation.

The contrast between departments was clear. Housekeeping dropped the ball. The front desk, led by Lauren, did everything possible to recover the experience and deserves genuine credit for it.

Was expecting a luxury resort, but this was just a run of the mill hotel. Amenities were just ok, lighting in room was very dim.
Pools were great, but we only found one hot tub, and there were unattended children everywhere, including the hot tub.
Worst of all was the parking situation - it’s not included with the hotel stay, and there aren’t in and out privileges, so there were days when we paid three times for parking - and there’s nowhere else to park. A grab and go breakfast for two (from the on-site cafe) was as much as a sit-down. Prices were outrageous for a mediocre product.

Rooms were outstanding as so were the staff.. it was kinda slow there so we felt like we had the pool and hot tubs to ourselves.

This was our first time back in Palm Springs/Indian Wells since Covid. We’ve always loved it and that no stress easy vibe like rest of the world is rotating at light speed in chaos while Palm Springs is in a slow motion bliss.

For those who never been to Palm Springs.. we’ll all of the restaurants are Excellent been going there since 2008 and never had a let down.. My must go to place to eat is called Pacifica with that glazed salmon that keeps on giving.

We could see ourselves retiring there but then again those homes ain’t really cheap lol at $2.3 million for 2100 square feet lol

We had a wonderful time here at the Hyatt. It was a \"sisters\" trip and we wanted a nice pool with poolside service. We rented a cabana and it was lovely. The hotel was the perfect getaway for us...we just kicked back and enjoyed our time together. Agua Caliente Casino is nearby and we went there for a couple hours. We enjoyed the lazy river and there were a ton of youngsters having a blast going down the water slides. Hyatt always has such beautiful hotels and we are never disappointed. (P.S. The Hyatt in Playa Del Carmen is amazing!)

Terrible experience. The room smelled of offgassing plastic. Every time we returned, we had to air it out.

The air conditioner was unbelievably noisy.

You advertise room service, but it only happens begrudgingly and the server couldn't wait to explain things and literally dropped our tray and ran.

In addition to the room, delivery charger is a service charge, but the person delivering the room Service said that was not a tip. Seemed like a rip off.

The restaurants were subpar with respect to food, quality, and service.

The drinks were watered down and not very good. You should invest in some bartenders who know what they're doing.

The pay-per-viewmovies that we had intended on watching was unavailable in the evening when we wanted to watch them because of some technical issue.

On the plus side, the valet guys were very nice. But that's not enough for us to ever consider returning.

You guys get an F.

Our check-in process was okay. I said hello good afternoon, no response and she proceeded with asking me for first/last name. I gave her my credit card that I paid with the room in her hand and she returns it and left it on the counter( while I had my hand reaching out for it), same thing with the card for the room. Typically check in processes are much more welcoming, warm, respectful and are friendly.

Despite our check in process it was great. Staff and fellow people were extremely nice.

Everything about my trip has been great overall, but the hotel experience was more expensive than I expected. I booked at $400 per night through Expedia, but only after checking in did I learn about additional charges: an overnight parking fee of $32 and a resort fee of $35 per night. These fees were not clearly communicated beforehand, which made the stay feel overpriced despite the nice accommodations.

Hotel was a little pricey. $19 drinks that were not very good. Margaritas with no flavor. Pool area was great!!! Lazy River well worth it. Self parking should have been more reasonable. $32 per night for self parking was a lot- especially during the week when the hotel is empty! Most hotels charge less than $25 to park your own car in the heat.

I have concerns regarding my recent stay at Hyatt Palm Springs on 8/26-8/27/25. While I was looking forward to a relaxing visit, the service experience in the hotel’s restaurant was disappointing and inconsistent with Hyatt’s reputation for hospitality. On multiple occasions, my food order was incorrect, and when I asked for it to be corrected, the staff responded with unprofessional attitude instead of courtesy. When I raised these issues with the hotel manager on duty, the response I received was dismissive and lacked empathy. I was made to feel as though my concerns were not valid.

Overall a good experience, though a few things could be improved-

Listing allowed me book 5 people (4 adults, 1 teen) in a room that accommodated no more than 4 & staff were unable to resolve to our satisfaction. The rooms were clean (though dated) and housekeeping was great. We had a great view of the pools from balcony, which was appreciated. Overall staff was experience was so-so.

A big issue..there are no lifeguards/supervision at pools or lazy river (at least that I could see- no one was enforcing safe practices)- all become BUSY- especially with small, unsupervised children. There's outside bars and walking staff to order drinks from. Parents are drinking, many are not watching their kids. For the safety & enjoyment for all, there needs to be proper lifeguards. Our family ended up leaving the lazy river (as did most other adults and older teens) as it became too chaotic- kids jumping in/out from sides, kicking/splashing, aggressive play, throwing footballs, stacking tubes & was far too busy. We did still have some very enjoyable moments in the lazy river and adult pool. The grounds were clean and very well kept.

Finally, the food from the restaurants are desperately lacking- I wouldn't even bother- there are far better local options.

While it wasn't all bad, I'm not sure we'd return- for what we received, it was quite pricey. I appreciate that they are welcoming to families and all ages, but we might be looking for a more relaxing, adult driven resort.

We only spent one night there but wish we had more time. The room was very nice. The kids spent all day at the pool. It was an added plus that could order food to eat pool side. If I had any complaints, it would be that the parking lot got full.

Great water park, nice accommodations. Wish the hours of the HyTides were a little earlier in the high-heat days of summer (opens at 10AM), but otherwise the hotel itself and pools and water slides were great. But don't eat here, the food is no better than a lunchroom cafeteria with prices to match the nice-looking decor. We'll bring our own next time.

I’ve spent an hour on the phone trying to figure out why an extra $257 charge hit my account. They hung up on me so I will call my bank. The hotel is outdated and not worth the price. Super packed, good luck, trying to slide or go in the lazy river.

The room was not vacuumed, the bathroom was very dirty around the edges, and countertops had marks on them. The dishes at the breakfast buffet (specifically the glass cups for the yogurt) were all dirty or stained or had marks on them. The food at the breakfast buffet was horrible - one chef making scrambled eggs with a long line, food in the buffet dishes looked like sludge, and the options were sad.
For the price we paid, I was quite unimpressed by the attention to detail. I also felt bad for the staff as it appeared they were understaffed everywhere. It took them almost an hour to get a toothbrush delivered to our room.
