The rooms could’ve been a tad bit cleaner.. they were large and beautiful, but there was remnants of sunscreen, fingerprints on all the doors.

The poolside double queen rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was fun with friendly staff who were very accommodating, including Romero who served us in our cabana, the front desk staff and lifeguards. The lazy river was clutch during a relatively chilly school vacation week in February. Our 4 grandchildren, ages 6-12 loved it, along with the pool, water slides and outdoor movies on the weekend. The outdoor seating at the Desert Pearl restaurant was pleasant for our party of 10 and there were great restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed a day at the nearby Living Desert Zoo. Angela, the activities assistant, was most helpful in planning our 5 day stay. Overall a really great experience.

A broken toilet the whole time I was there. I took my pregnant daughter and my 5 year old non verbal autistic grandson there because he loves to swim it was a special treat for us as I just received my state taxes and my daughter chose the Omni. I was excited to take my grandson to the lazy river. The life guards there were rude to us they singles us out. I was absolutely completely shocked. This place was 1k for 2 nights unbelievable.

The room was excellent. I enjoyed dining at the Double Date, enjoying the pasta as well as the martini. Transport to the golf course was quick and easy with great conversation about the property and area attractions. The pool was a pleasant atmosphere with good music and comfortable seating and umbrella shade as needed. Area shopping and restaurants were abundant while travel to other eclectic destinations was easy and less than 20-40 minutes travel. Yes Please and Thank you ✨

I know such fees exist by book but I travel all the time and I’ve actually never been asked to pay early check-in. They could have told me ahead of time so I could have planned ahead.

Suite 2115 is outdated with old furniture - scratch marks visible on the coffee table and night stands. Sofa bed was not sleepable - mattress was thin and worn, metal crossbars were felt easily through it. Room amenities did not match the number of guests - 5 guests, 2 water bottles, 4 towel sets, 2 robes. Two of the robes were clearly stained. Patio was facing a dirt lawn, not a spot we wanted to sit and relax. Shower door was maligned to the tile and would get stuck. It wasn’t worth the dollars we were charged for it. Service recovery by Maria (manager on duty) and Ashlee (front desk) were excellent. Paltry baby beet salad (double date) served, Jorge fixed it but it should not have left the kitchen. This was not resort level quality.

We had an issue with neighbors smoking and being extremely loud keeping us up at night and waking us in the am. When I called th front desk the sent someone extremely fast to fix the smoking issue since its a non smoking hotel. They were very friendly on the phone and concerned about making our stay great. After I voiced my concerns at check out they took off the cost of my room charges which I was very shocked and thankful for. A manager even followed up after. We’ve stayed here 6+ times and this was the first issue we had and they handled it amazing. Well most likely go back

This hotel is a little tired luxury. The restaurant is new and nice, the rooms are huge and were super nice 20 years ago. The whole place just shows a lot of wear. Like dead plants missing from what was once a beautiful landscape. Rugs around the pool, a broken fountain at the Lazy River and everything is /was beautiful but the furniture is beat down and trash sits around the pool all day long. No one cleans up towels or trash until the end of the day. It's just not a luxury feel but the property is very nice if that makes sense. Staff was all fine but not at all a luxury feel. I think you will love it if you are expecting a nice place but if you are expecting luxury it's not on par with what I expected from what I thought Omni was. Maybe I was expecting more that what Omni is or is trying to be. We are talking sub Hilton or Westin here. I hate to be mean because it was fine but it's not what I was expecting when I heard Omni Resort in Rancho Mirage. If it was the Holiday Inn Resort Rancho Mirage I would be writing a different review for the same thing. The woman in the gift shop was lovely and gave us good recommendations for dinner and did all of the work of the concierge who was not there at 5pm on a Sunday.

We found the staff to be very mixed, some pleasant but others not very pleasant. We were rudely greeted upon our late arrival, by a bellman who insisted we move our vehicle immediately. Strangely, the driveway is in the opposite direction of every other resort/hotel driveway, arriving clockwise (w/ driver side closer to the main entrance rather than counter clockwise, with the passenger side closer to the entrance) and the signage was poor (no 'entry/direction sign for cars to pull up) and you didn't know you'd pull up in the wrong direction until after you pulled up. The the main bar area was under construction, the food options were limited, and they provided no flexibility on changes to the menu items. Other issues included, but were not limited to, the following: the walkways did not appear to be swept. the room had a musty smell, the shower head needed replacement (as water came out from both the top and the spout), and we needed maintenance on day 2 to fix the shower light and fan.

We booked two adjoining rooms. I was very disappointed by the condition of the carpet. It was FILTHY. My daughter’s white socks were black after walking around the room. I wouldn’t expect that at a resort of this level.
The room had a nice table and chairs on a patio but the view overlooked a hillside with just dirt. No grass or plants just a dry dusty hill. This was in start contrast to the pictures on this page of the grounds. Other parts of the complex seemed to have better views. The pools were nice and were well staffed with lifeguards and attendants. I will say the staff overall was very friendly and attentive.

I stayed for 5 nights here and I love the view of the desert mountains. The front desk staff are nice and helpful. I especially got to know the \"shuttle crew\" because I had to call them numerous times for a lift back and forth from my room to the lobby. Chris and Miko were great and extremely helpful and friendly towards all guests. The rest of the shuttle crew are also great but I didn't catch all their names. Thank you all for the accommodations. The one thing that I did not quite understand is why during our conference, we did not have access to WiFi? It's a nominal fee of $10 a day for the Wifi use in the conference center but perhaps, reconsider removing these fees or giving the clients discounts which is included on the contract so that all participants can avail of the Wifi. For such a huge resort, this fee seems petty and unreasonable. Overall, I did enjoy my stay here. Thank you.
