We booked a 2 queen beds for 2 adults and 2 kids. Up on checking in we were told they don’t have our request room, only 1 king bed and pull out sofa bed.
Went to our room after 30min of unpacking and settling to get ready for bedtime, the ceiling was covered with so many misquotes, we couldn’t believe it. We had to move to a different room. The sofa bed so super uncomfortable my kids complained all night. Their mattress was super thin and felt all the hard metal rods. Everything was outdated and old.
Other than those issues, staff was great. Breakfast place was really good. I don’t think we’d stay here again.

We visited for one night during Coachella weekend, so there was definitely a “Coachella tax,” but the property still felt calm, well-managed, and upscale.

This was a family/work trip, and we chose the hotel for the kid-friendly water features (ages 8 and 3). The room was dated but very clean—I could tell by how clean my kids’ feet stayed after running around barefoot. The king room had a pull-out couch, a big plus.

The hotel accommodated our request for a ground-floor room with easy access to the main areas. Being able to walk from our patio to the restaurants in about two minutes made things much easier with kids.

The “water park” is more of a nice kids pool and splash pad than a full water park, but the kids still had a great time.

Poolside service was great. The kids ordered chicken tenders and fries—portions were generous and they enjoyed it.

We were excited about the breakfast buffet. Pricing was reasonable for kids, though the food options for adults were not super exciting.

What really stood out, though, was the staff—everyone was friendly, patient and accommodating. From the front desk, to restaurant staff, to bellman, to security, to poolside staff - they all offered a level of service made a lasting impression.

The only thing that really took the experience down were the several mosquitoes and a moth in the room, possibly due to our room’s proximity to the lake. Had the room been more updated without pests, this would’ve easily been a 5 star stay.

While there is a lot to do on the property, we were super disappointed in the quality of the resort. The rooms clearly need to be upgraded as the sheets have seen better days as has the carpet and bathrooms. It’s all just a little bit yucky. The hot tub area at the pool has algae and hair clumps around it. We could very easily hear the people in the room next to us at night through the adjoining door which was extremely annoying. For as much as we paid to stay there, which was a lot, I expected way more. I expected a resort tended to and overseen with love and care. We did not experience that.

We had a pleasant stay. Our room did not have the best view (as advertised) We woke up to a dirt field and residential neighborhood. Remodel is definitely needed. The staff was incredible! Everyone was very friendly! I would definitely stay again in a different part of the resort.

This place needs a make over and some! This is a 3 star hotel with 5 star prices - find somewhere else!

We had an end unit with and the room had black out curtains - great for a good nights sleep… oh, but there’s another window that has a blind that lets the sun in at sunrise — go figure?!

The bathroom is small and poorly appointed.

Check in was terrible and slow - not enough staff on, even though they knew it would be busy.

The adult pool is situated just below a nice patio that serves breakfast and brunch to all customers - those that could stand heavy house and trance blasting at 10+ would be the ones that are and stayed I guess.

Paying this much for a room is daylight robbery.

We booked this resort during Spring break to have a pool vacation. During this time, the family pools were completely overcrowded each time we went. We also did not receive housekeeping regularly (we had not opted out) except once by special request when they had not been by for two days. We were a family of four, and all we wanted was a refreshed room and to relax by the pool, neither of which happened.

My family and I stayed in the traditional 2 queen bed room.
The staff (front desk, housing keeping and those in golf carts) is quite helpful and very professional.

Space near room entrance looked messy. It could’ve been covered well or kept neatly.
Bathroom & shower fittings were loose and shaky.
It was quite a challenge to lock sliding door in bathroom.
Room is not bright and shiny as compared with rooms in other hotels.

They’ve a wonderful pool. Lazy river is excellent.

Omni is a wonderful resort with many cool features except for the hotel room.

Overall it is not a great value for the money per my experience. I hope the hotel management and staff fix the above issues.
My family and I are looking forward to stay at Omni during our next visit to Palm Springs!

This property is perfect for families with kids, and nice for everyone. The food and drinks were pretty good by the pool. We got to see ducks and other birds. My son enjoyed bringing his tricycle and riding around the property. We will definitely return for a future Spring Break.

Was looking for an elegant hotel for two days after our week of California travel. Was hoping to relax poolside. Traveled with my husband and two teenage sons. The family pool was overcrowded. There were no chairs to be had on day one check in. We went over to a quieter pool in the front. We stayed there three hours, having lunch and drinks while we waited for our room. Our room was late to be ready, but we were relaxed, so our late room was not a problem. However, three hours in, the pool manager told us we had to leave because it was an adult only pool. My sons are 13 and 17. They had been quietly relaxing in their phones. No one told us this the entire afternoon. In fact, many other younger kids had been in the pool throughout the day. The staff supplied us lunch and drinks without a problem. At 4 pm, the pool manager confronted us, and said the boys had to leave since the pool area was getting crowded. However, it was the opposite. People were leaving for dinner. We told him our room wasn’t ready, and we had no where else to on since the other pool was overrun with small kids and children. It was a splash pool. The pool manager threatened us with security. At that point, I just wanted to leave. Our room was late, service took a long time. There was only one server bringing food and drinks out. We waited over an hour for drinks. Yet we hadn’t complained until the manager asked my sons to leave. Another manager offered us free dinner, but we cancelled both reservations.

The first room we were given was very dirty and was also an ADA room which we did not request. We were not asked if we wanted this type of room. The hotel is generally old and okay for conferences but definitely not worth the price when compared with the Westin nearby. The outdoor gardens are well maintained and the hotel looks best at night when you can’t see the aging buildings and dreary exterior. We expected a lot more for the price.

I paid $3000 for a jointing rooms. Our view was dead grass. I have been coming here 15 years and they never upgrade. Front desk people are always rude. You will never get a room before 4pm or later.

Outdated rooms! Not sure if that’s the vibe, but bathroom outdated, you can actually see the calcium buildup on shower head and faucets. Don’t like that you have to wait in line for pool access and they only let you in after 9 and then they do a pool “break” in the middle of the day, where everyone has to go out of the pool! Not sure what’s that for! Been to many Palm Springs hotels and we were perfectly fine without the pool break! 🙄 Lazy river closes at 6 🙄.

Property is pretty. But it’s skin deep. Staff at restaurants and pool are terrible. Long wait times, inattentive staff, reservations needed everywhere and pools are over crowded.
If you want a luxury experience do not stay here.

The room was so old and kind of gross. The staff was nice great pool area for the kids. I paid $400 for a cabana that couldn’t even be closed on every side because it was ripped the cooler was leaking water the whole day and the chairs were so dirty.

We were on spring break for family of four. Overall, everything was good. The kids loved the lazy river, slides, pool area. That said, the pool was jam-packed. People lined up 45 minutes before opening to secure lounge chairs. This might just be typical spring break level of busy; can't speak to over parts of the year. Room was nice with view of golf course but had some little wear and tear issues. Staff was all nice except for a bad/odd interaction with tennis facility.

When you walk into the room it looks nice and clean. But when you really start looking you'll notice it looks older, more esthetics like flooring, baseboards and carpet. Parking was a headache and more frustrating that parking cost $30 per day but there was never enough parking. Guest I spoke with said they were told to park in handicap. Cars were also parked along the parking lot which wasn't even a parking spot

This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed.
Check-in time was 4 pm, rooms were not ready, so we had to stay at the hotel lobby until 6:30 pm, with 2-year-old. So lazy river was closed at 5 pm so that day is gone. Rooms were so dirty, carpets were so dirty with food stains and had a very bad smell. Room had lots of small bugs I called the hotel and they said they don’t have other rooms available. Someone came and cleaned the bugs but still were there. Parking area had a garbage smell. That hotel needs major renovation; everything is very old. It’s not safe for small kids.

We loved the property! Three pools and plenty of seating. The lazy river was a lot of fun. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the cucumber water at the front entrance!
The rooms could’ve been a tad bit cleaner.. they were large and beautiful, but there was remnants of sunscreen, fingerprints on all the doors.

We loved staying there and will be back next year for sure:)

The poolside double queen rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was fun with friendly staff who were very accommodating, including Romero who served us in our cabana, the front desk staff and lifeguards. The lazy river was clutch during a relatively chilly school vacation week in February. Our 4 grandchildren, ages 6-12 loved it, along with the pool, water slides and outdoor movies on the weekend. The outdoor seating at the Desert Pearl restaurant was pleasant for our party of 10 and there were great restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed a day at the nearby Living Desert Zoo. Angela, the activities assistant, was most helpful in planning our 5 day stay. Overall a really great experience.

A broken toilet the whole time I was there. I took my pregnant daughter and my 5 year old non verbal autistic grandson there because he loves to swim it was a special treat for us as I just received my state taxes and my daughter chose the Omni. I was excited to take my grandson to the lazy river. The life guards there were rude to us they singles us out. I was absolutely completely shocked. This place was 1k for 2 nights unbelievable.

The room was excellent. I enjoyed dining at the Double Date, enjoying the pasta as well as the martini. Transport to the golf course was quick and easy with great conversation about the property and area attractions. The pool was a pleasant atmosphere with good music and comfortable seating and umbrella shade as needed. Area shopping and restaurants were abundant while travel to other eclectic destinations was easy and less than 20-40 minutes travel. Yes Please and Thank you ✨

We’ve got a free upgrade to poolside room. Kid loves the pool area. All bellmen are very nice and helpful.
The front desk girls are quite cold-faced though. We messaged ahead of time saying estimated arrival time around 11am. They just replied they will try to accommodate our requests. However, when we got there 11am, the front desk girl was about to charge us 50 usd early check-in fee as it was before 12pm?! I know such fees exist by book but I travel all the time and I’ve actually never been asked to pay early check-in. They could have told me ahead of time so I could have planned ahead.

Suite 2115 is outdated with old furniture - scratch marks visible on the coffee table and night stands. Sofa bed was not sleepable - mattress was thin and worn, metal crossbars were felt easily through it. Room amenities did not match the number of guests - 5 guests, 2 water bottles, 4 towel sets, 2 robes. Two of the robes were clearly stained. Patio was facing a dirt lawn, not a spot we wanted to sit and relax. Shower door was maligned to the tile and would get stuck. It wasn’t worth the dollars we were charged for it. Service recovery by Maria (manager on duty) and Ashlee (front desk) were excellent. Paltry baby beet salad (double date) served, Jorge fixed it but it should not have left the kitchen. This was not resort level quality.

We had an issue with neighbors smoking and being extremely loud keeping us up at night and waking us in the am. When I called th front desk the sent someone extremely fast to fix the smoking issue since its a non smoking hotel. They were very friendly on the phone and concerned about making our stay great. After I voiced my concerns at check out they took off the cost of my room charges which I was very shocked and thankful for. A manager even followed up after. We’ve stayed here 6+ times and this was the first issue we had and they handled it amazing. Well most likely go back

Jazmin at the front desk was amazing and genuinely welcoming.
The check-in experience felt easy and pleasant thanks to her.
The room had some issues, including an unpleasant odor coming from the carpet.
There were plumbing problems that affected our comfort.
We noticed itchy spots on our skin after staying in the room, which raised concerns about the towels, bed sheets, or possibly bed bugs. the room quality and cleanliness issues really stood out and affected our experience. I hope the hotel can address these problems so future guests have a smoother stay.

This hotel is a little tired luxury. The restaurant is new and nice, the rooms are huge and were super nice 20 years ago. The whole place just shows a lot of wear. Like dead plants missing from what was once a beautiful landscape. Rugs around the pool, a broken fountain at the Lazy River and everything is /was beautiful but the furniture is beat down and trash sits around the pool all day long. No one cleans up towels or trash until the end of the day. It's just not a luxury feel but the property is very nice if that makes sense. Staff was all fine but not at all a luxury feel. I think you will love it if you are expecting a nice place but if you are expecting luxury it's not on par with what I expected from what I thought Omni was. Maybe I was expecting more that what Omni is or is trying to be. We are talking sub Hilton or Westin here. I hate to be mean because it was fine but it's not what I was expecting when I heard Omni Resort in Rancho Mirage. If it was the Holiday Inn Resort Rancho Mirage I would be writing a different review for the same thing. The woman in the gift shop was lovely and gave us good recommendations for dinner and did all of the work of the concierge who was not there at 5pm on a Sunday.

Horrible experience, they put us in a room that smelled smoke initially and then moved us to a room by the pool area in which it was very Loud till early morning, kids couldn’t sleep so we cancelled the rest of the stay, they still charged me for extra day and 4 days of resort fee in which we spent only one night, never again

The resort has a lovely pool area that is well kept up, but we were disappointed with the limited meal options after 5pm. The only restaurant open switched to a very upscale menu and we were looking for a casual dinner. The rooms were nice and spacious, but the walls were quite thin and we were disturbed by a loud family. The hotel was accommodating in allowing us to move rooms, which we appreciated.

The atmosphere, the on site restaurant- dinner was amazing, the fire pits and lounge chairs, the comfy room, the lazy river, spa, drinks. Welcoming staff. Perfect stay!

the room service was not good, several requests to fix the ac and nothing was done, requested several times for the room to be cleaned and no follow up from maid service, pool lounge chairs awnings and overall atmosphere is very old antiquated and outdated, wouldn’t stay or recommend the place, over priced for what you receive.
