The A/C wasn't working so it was warm in the room without windows and there wasn't any hot water. The shuttle service did not operate as indicated so we walked from and to the hotel from Terminal 2. Fortunately the location of the hotel was the primary benefit, it was about a 15min walk.

The hotel is difficult to find in the airport.
We have been rejected by a staff completely helpless.
They required us document fo dad with minor daughter, we gave them by WhatsApp but continued to request more. I did decide to leave this hotel and we went to our next hotel that welcome us without any questions . hotel to avoid absolutely, the worst welcome to Brazil!
Totally unacceptable, unprofessional.
I was totally upset by their helpless attitude .

no indication at old (closed?) terminal 1 entrance on level 1 of hotel!! luckily two guests were using shuttle bus who told me to take lift to level 3 - where the hotel reception was immediately obvious. quick efficient, friendly check in (excellent English) nice room, good AC but no window- all fine

A no frills hotel room. Perfect for a one night stay between flights. Located within Terminal 1. About a 7-10 minute walk to Terminal 2. No windows, so if you need daylight, this isn’t for you. Breakfast was great! I was able to snag a double room for $126 CDN, which I think is great value. Staff was fine at check-in and check-out.

Ok for a quick stopover. Clean, good A/C, wife thought the bed was great, me…it was OK. Staff was not welcoming or cordial. They acted like they were doing us a favor…pretty gruff.
Be advised, this hotel is built into the nearly abandoned Terminal 1. Even the taxi drivers did not know where it was.
Again…for one night when our flight was cancelled, it worked.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. I was able to use the room from 10am - 8pm which was fine for me with my midnight departure. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend the hotel for a longer stay. The room was very basic, but clean. And be aware that the hotel location is in Terminal 1 at Rio (GIG). T1 is closed, all flights go in and out of Terminal 2. There is a free shuttle between, but you have to call the hotel and ask for it.

We stayed for one night prior to departing on our international flight and were very disappointed with the hotel. Staff wasn’t very friendly and the room condition and appearance was below average. Bathroom was dated and actually dirty. In addition, AC control was practically ineffective as the temperature oscillator between hot and cold. I will not stay at this hotel ever again!!!

Hôtel location is excellent- close to the beach and close to all the stores and restaurants. Staff is helpful in finding tours, etc. The rooms are a bit run down but clean. No microwave, coffee machine or tea pot in the room or in easy access at the hotel. For us the biggest issue was no access to filtered water - had to either buy or ask the staff to fill our water bottles in the basement staff kitchen.

La habitaciones no tienen ventana, son pequeñitas, la cama se mueve para todos lados cuando te mueves, porque son camas baratas, no camas realmente hechas para un hotel de ese precio, las sabanas iguales de baratas, el cobertor para el frio (que van a necesitar) da picazón porque creo que eso nunca lo lavan, ademas hace tanto frio y no puedes regular el aire acondicionado (solo congelación o apagado calor) todo se siente extremadamente básico en este hotel, el piso da sensación de sucio, la mesita de noche estaba sucia la tuve que limpiar, el desayuno es triste mejor tomen la opcion sin desayuno, y compren algo bueno dentro del aeropuerto. En conclusion solo sirve para la ubicación, pero luego dormir es difícil en una cama tan mala y con aire tan frio o en calor.

The check in is the worse staff service I have seen. I have traveled countless times and never experienced such rudeness, lack of courtesy and accommodation. We checked out within 10 mins of checking in, would also request a refund since we did not use the hotel room

The place was average. For the cost, I don’t think this is good value and policy requires them to considerably upcharge on second guests and early check Ins. But the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
I suggest going to the other hotels near the airport

Upon my arrival after 3pm the reception attendant asked me if I was alone, who made the reservation. I informed him that my husband flight was delayed and he will arrive late. I provided his passport, phone. photo however when he came to the hotel the new attendant did allow him in, called me to the room and asked me to come to the reception for him. When confronted he lied to my husband and said I did not authorize him at chek in. This is not a good hotel and I demand that this hotel be delisted from you site and hotels.com

The hotel is located in a part of the airport area that felt a little sketchy when we first arrived. Even our taxi driver seemed unsure and nervous, which didn’t help! He actually walked us all the way to the front door, and once we saw people at the entrance, we both relaxed. It was honestly a funny scene after the fact.

That area of the airport is completely dead, but for what we needed, the hotel worked perfectly. Our flight was departing late at night, and we had to check out of our main hotel in Copacabana early, so we only needed a place to rest for about four hours. For that purpose, it was ideal.

The hotel itself is very simple, room clean and modest and the shower had good water pressure — I personally wouldn’t stay more than one night — but it served its purpose. My husband took a nap, my daughter relaxed, we all showered, and then headed to the airport. The staff was great, and the lady who helped us spoke both Spanish and English, which made everything much easier. I was also happy that they offered transportation to Terminal 2.

Overall, it’s not a hotel for a long stay, but it’s convenient for a quick rest before a late flight.

Clean room. Abnormally cold with impossible to set AC temperature. Weird plumbing system in the washroom. Felt like a crypt. No signs for the hotel located at the deserted part of the Terminal 1. Hotel does not explain where it is located: experienced Uber driver had to make 3 circles and could not find the proper level. NB. Hotel door is Porta B at level 1. Had I not been there before, we would have circled around for at least another 20 min.

I selected this hotel because it was within the airport and I wouldn’t need to venture out into Rio at night. Mission accomplished! The hotel is clean and safe. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant/bar that is adjacent to the hotel in the airport. The reason for only four stars it that It is a bit difficult to find because it is in the older terminal one and most of the flights are in terminal two but it is possible to walk between the terminals. All of the taxis and Ubers are at T2, so expect some walking. I was able to leave my bags there for the day while I toured the city

It does what it says - super close to the airport (it is in the now mothballed terminal 1), so convenient place to rest your head for an early flight.
Rooms are basic and have no windows, but clean.

I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms have no windows, which makes them feel very closed in and uncomfortable. On top of that, there was mold throughout the property, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness and health. To mask the problem, the entire place smelled strongly of bleach, but that only made it worse. Overall, a very unpleasant and unhealthy environment.

Staff at check in (9/9/25) were amazing, the girl at the desk was lovely and spoke amazing English. Also, we had a great waiter in the restaurant, younger guy who also spoke amazing English, same evening we checked in - he was wonderful and helpful. The hotel is not fancy, very basic, but it was very clean and very quiet which we greatly appreciated.

The property is convenient given its inside the airport.
However, the property needs to be updated: the painting is old, the room despite being spacious does not have a windows. And the room was not up to the standard of cleanness expected for a 4 star hotel. also when we ordered room service the food was nice but when called to ask where to put the plates we were given the answer to leave near our door. And in the morning it was not cleared away

The reception staff were particularly unhelpful and unfriendly at both check in and out, a smile can go a long way! Woken up in the middle of the night by someone else opening the door to our room, who'd obviously been given a key by reception. Followed by a call from reception asking who we were and no apology whatsoever! Hotel in disused terminal, directions to which were poor. The room was dated and in need of a good clean especially bathroom. The only saving grace was the staff in the bar who were friendly and helpful. Dinner was however not great. Bearing in mind it's an airport hotel the lack of an early breakfast was unacceptable.

This “hotel” - once we found it - is located in top of abandoned Terminal One. No one - not even information booth - in Terminal Two knew where it was. We found it after a nice security guard pointed us to a long dark walkway between the terminals. Luckily two of the three of us are large men but female guests should not try to locate it alone. Oh, and then the power went out … Twice!

If you have no other means, you can use this hotel. It is enough for crashing between flights, but no more than that. It lacks power outlets near the bed, which forced me to move it closer to one, in order to use my CPAP.
I was clean and the air conditioning worked well.
The bed was enough for sleeping.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER !!!

It was AWFUL !!!
First, it was impossible to find. It’s located in the old Terminal One building of GIG, Rio’s international airport.
There are no signs on the building telling you there is a hotel inside.
Once you’re in the building, the old airport terminal, there are no signs directing to the hotel.
There were three men and a woman checking people in. The men were rude and the single woman did all the work. The male reception staff ignore customers, even to the point of walking away when customers came up to the counter.
We were charged an extra $50 for a second person and $30 for parking.
You have to pay the parking at a kiosk in the basement, AGAIN with no directions how to get there.
WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER !!!

Wrong description, the terminal where the hotel is not operating terminal. This terminal was not connected to actual terminal, and also homeless are there, elevator smell like pee. And room where we stay was very noisy, people walking hallway, you can hear very loudly, because it’s not carpet, and very cheap, thin insulation.
So disappointing, never recommended anyone.

The hotel is very convenient if you need to spend the night at the airport. There is barely anything nearby, but the airport. There is a free shuttle. The breakfast was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. The beds are decent, but only sheets to cover you up. The cleanliness of the bathroom needs much improvement. The tv didn’t work, it keeps disconnecting from the internet, and given that all that was available was streaming platforms, the result was no tv whatsoever.

The hotel is a standard airport hotel, staff were efficient and professional. My main problem was the hotel shuttle service - which is supposed to run every 5-10 minutes.

I came off a midnight flight, and went the the 24 hour shuttle spot, and waited 40 minutes, then finally went to the travel information counter, which called the hotel and finally 10 min later the shuttle turned up.

Hotel Telephone for calling shuttle not working, the other shuttle drivers helped to contact hotel shuttle driver directly.
During check in i complained with receptionist and he said initially there was no problem with telephone but when i tried to call hotel in front of him the call did not go through but he was still saying there was no problem with the line. Then i mentioned the other drivers told me the hotel line really had a problem he finally confirmed, for me trying to fool the client is not a good thing.
When i suggested to him an easy solution just to put a sign by the shuttle pick up area with an alternative phone he said the manager was aware of the situation and did not do anything to support the clients when trying to contact hotel.
I told him it would not take much from him just to print a sign he said he could not do it.
That was really disappointing.

Convenient location within the GIG airport. Located about 45 minutes by car from main attractions. Basic amenities (toiletries, snacks, dining on site and small fitness center) but perfect for my brief stay. Just note the outlets are 220v so bring a converter.
