We enjoyed our stay. As a last-minute booking we were pleasantly surprised. Location was excellent to esplanade, restaurants and shops. Lagoon for swimming but pool at apartments is great and less crowded. Would definitely stay again. We had 2 bedrooms, aircon loungeroom and dining room/kitchen. Cool building with 2 aircons in bedrooms.

Location is just across the road from some of Airlie’s best pubs and restaurants.
The bathroom was newer than expected, bright and clean.
The interactions with management were very polite, helpful and concise.
Had a great weekend, would recommend and stay again.

Great location, very close to the main street of Airlie beach with the beach, Woolworths, swimming lagoon, bars and restaurants all within a short walk. The hotel itself is fairly tired, but with all the attractions in the area, we didn't spend a lot of time in our room. Manager was friendly and helpful.

the pool really was a disgrace - tiles covered in green slime, slippery, hard to get out of, stuff growing everywhere. overall we knew we were getting a cheap option. but the pool hadnt been cleaned in a long time. wasnt safe to swim in.

We arrived late at the hotel and it was very easy to call and organise our check in. I was very disappointed that When I booked it was for 3 adults and 1 child. We arrived in our room to find a double bed and a single. There was an extra mattress under the bed and a pull out couch however no extra linen was provided. We also only received 3 towels. This was very disappointing as we have stayed here previously with no problems. The apartments are located in a great place that is accessible to town by foot.

you canfind. mac,resturants,Dominis,woolworth and ,BWS(for alcohol) just in front of the premise.it has a common swimming pool,you can have a view of ocean.
Cons:oven toos are rusty,Telvesion didnt have any chanell ,no signal,at all when we stayed there.

Wonderful friendly communication via phone on directions to accommodation and what to do when checking out etc. Location was great. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops.
Rooms need a makeover. Stained carpets, damaged walls, ceiling. Beds provided were comfortable however the fold out couches very uncomfortable, springs sticking out of mattresses. My daughter had to sleep on cushions on the floor. Room smelled old and musty. Glasses provided were filthy, had to be rewashed before use. Linen was clean and fresh though.

very basic rooms. No onsite help as run remotely. Especially chose this accommodation as it had free wifi. After contacting manager by phone (off site) was advised no wifi in rooms but could get it by standing outside reception (it was raining) or in the carport (amoungst the rubbish bins, cold)

Conveniently located. Short walking distance to port of airlie and very close to restaurants and supermarket
Room is a litle bit too small but well supported with house appliances. Unfortunately the fridge shelves are cracked n even broken.
Reception was mostly unattended. During check in was asked to use a phone connected to online customer service but the phone itself was broken
However, overall, the convenient location make me really enjoy our stay and we will recommend the aparment to our friends

Hard to find!

An address was given which we located quickly but it was not right place. A kind gentleman directed us to where he thought we should go but it wasn’t there either. Located a staff person from that one who was very helpful to locate someone at the property we rented and got another address. Once there, the sign was very difficult to see and finally located the right property. We left about 9 AM approx but never once saw or talked to any person from the location we rented. It appears there are several properties called Airlie Beach apartments or very close in name which caused the confusion. Proper address should be given in site online.

Broken down unit, not maintained & misrepresented

Arrived to inferior unit on blind side of building, returned and complained and was moved to unit at other nd of complex. Found numerous broken items, fridge shelves, toilet buttons, shower broken, bad blinds and poor air conditioning, really disappointed as the unit was represented a lot better in the photos and descriptions, would not recommend. Also a dreadful restraunt within the building!!!

We stayed in a twin room over New Years for six nights and had a lovely stay. The room was in great condition. The owners were lovely on the phone. The reception was usually unattended but there was a phone to contact the owners if need be. We tried to have a bbq one day but the bbq’s were hard to use so we just used our kitchenette. Overall we had a great stay in the apartments and I would recommend it.

Second Time I have stayed at this property, On the first stay the manager texted details of the property and called to say the office would be closed after 5pm (Fair enough) and the key is under the door mat. First stay was OK, room at the top of the hill.
On the second stay, received a call from the manager in the morning wanting to know what time we would arrive, advised between 2-3pm, yet again the key would be under the mat as he had a Dentist appointment (interestingly it was only blowing 5 knots out at the reef),
Walked in to find 240V readings lights hanging form the wall above the bed with exposed wires, went to the bathroom, No toilet roll holder (roll on top of the cistern) The room this time was next to the road (directly opposite a supermarket loading dock), woken up at 4:30am to the constant sound of reversing trucks and forklifts for the next 2.5hrs.
Understand you get what you pay for, but leaving exposed 240V cables in a room - Not good enough regardless to price

Check-in is a bit of a strange experience with no hotel staff on site everything is done via phone.. Room maintainaince and condition was lacking, lifted tiles, broken draws and leaking taps.

When I read past reviews I was skeptical but this place was dated on the outside yes but it was great. Clean apartment, pool was great for kids, so close to the beach very quick walk without much of a hill. I will stay there again. Great to be able to walk everywhere. Had everything we needed.

Best location in Airlie

Great water views over Airlie Beach, very short (200m) walk into town and across the road from Woolworths. Apartment had plenty of room, comfy, cooking gear, laundry, clothes line (rare!). Management offsite but easily available via dedicated phone - and friendly. You would be pretty fussy if this didn't suit! Airlie now a bit more than the Whitsunday Gateway - worth a visit. And take the full day ride out to spectacular Whitehaven beach and Island lookout with Whitsunday Express- great trip!

We paid but did not stay, keys for all apartments were left under frontbdoor mats.

No locks of curtains on back windows, toilets smelled like raw sewage and the doors appeared to have been previously broken into.

Management did notcare or alliw a refund.

Expedia were very goid and gave a refund although they did not have to. A big thank you to Arifa at Expedia.

Don't risk staying hete people.

some new apartments but the original ones need updating Settees leather and uncomfortable in the warm weather Beds rather firm Getting to apartments is a walk up a very steep drive and then steep wooden stairway Youngsters would cope but older guests shouls ask for units below the driveway Many workers seem to use it as a base The pool area needs an update and new loungers This place is suitable for the younger element and think we could have got a more suitable place for same price

IF WE HADNT ALREADY PREPAID, WE WOULD'VE LEFT AS SOON AS WE ARRIVED! For a supposedly recently renovated accomodation, it was in bad shape. The front door had a hole in it, the room security was lacking(louvres had been removed and replaced at some point to access the front door handle), the floor was gritty, mildewed ceiling and walls in the bathroom, cockroaches running rampant(even though there were baits in the kitchen cupboards), outside the back door leading to clothesline was filthy - don't think it had been cleaned ever) & green ants in back bedroom. Staff interaction non existent - blunt when did speak. If there's an upside, the lounge aircon and fridge were excellent, as well as the hot water in the shower. Location is great, view from front verandah is amazing also. Definitely only 2 star accomodation in current state.

Upon arrival I came across a half eaten sausage roll in the fridge and the container of milk inside the fridge was already pierced and used. Also, more pillows should be provided, as they were flat as a pancake. Batteries in the aircon remote were dead.

Other than that location is good and convenient for the bars and close to the lagoon, while being far enough out of the way to avoid most of the noise.

Walked into the room and I was greeted by the scent of a dirty mop. The room was tidy but the smell was horrendous and had to spray a can of deodorant to mask the dirty mop smell. The pillows provided were as flat as a pancake and only one per person. There was a spare pillow in the cupboard but even two pancakes = poor nights sleep. The television is located in a stupid position, it was above the bed so I couldn't lay in bed and watch tv. Car park was rowdy, large group of males were sat out on MY balcony drinking and left cigarette butts all over the ground. I went to reception to complain, no member of staff present on 3 occasions over 30 minutes. I would not recommend staying at this hotel, not good value for money.
