We had a fantastic stay at Airlie Beach Guest House. The property is beautifully maintained, well-equipped, and in an ideal location—just a five-minute walk from the heart of Airlie Beach.

The highlight of our stay was the host, Mick. He made us feel incredibly welcome and offered great advice on the best tours and places to visit. We had a lovely breakfast every morning on the decking with beautiful views over the harbour. His tour and day trip recommendations turned out to be absolutely amazing and really made our trip special.

Thank you, Mick, for such a memorable experience. We will definitely be returning!

I stayed at the Airlie Guest House for 3 nights and had such a lovely experience. I stayed in Room 3, which was clean, spacious, and had its own private bathroom, perfect for a solo traveller or even two guests.

Mick was incredibly kind, friendly, and caring. We had so many great conversations, and he truly made me feel welcome and at home. He also gave amazing recommendations for things to do around town and even helped arrange my airport shuttle, which made everything so easy. He’s genuinely the best! I also met Natalie, who is an absolute gem!!

Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Airlie Guest House to anyone visiting Airlie Beach for a Whitsundays trip. I met some amazing people during my stay, which made the experience even more fun. I will definitely be back, this place made my trip so memorable!

The staff were wonderful and so accommodating and lovely to talk to. The owner, Mick, knows the area very well, and orients you perfectly. You get access to the main kitchen area and can stay on the property after check out if you need, and the rooms are big and clean. The views are amazing, and you can see the beach and water from the patio, and you're only a short walk into town. It is up a hill, however, so keep that in mind, but it's not a far walk up the hill at all. I would absolutely stay here again!

Would definitely recommend this if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. About 5/10 mins walk from all the action.
A quiet location on the hillside overlooking the bay.
Stunning views and lovely accommodation. Has all you need for a home from home experience.
The host Mick is a lovely chap and full of local knowledge. Friendly and welcoming.

The Guest house is 200m up a hill and 300m from the main strip. we stayed in ground floor room 6 which was large (but had a seperate shower room and toilet across the hallway- but no other rooms were nearby). Breakfast was good only niggle was we could hear footsteps from the shared kitchen above on the first floor which woke us up at 6am. recommend book an upstairs room

The Airlie Guest House has a great view overlooking the town and Pioneer Bay. It's about a 5 minute walk into the main town centre and is very convenient for tours.
The owners and staff are fantastic and the breakfast options are wonderful. I highly recommend the muffins!

Just perfect!
The guesthouse was easy to find, and parking was available right outside. We were greeted by the owner, Mick, who took time to show us around and give us all the information we might need.
The guest house was friendly, welcoming and clean, and had everything we might possibly need for our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the en-suite was modern. We had a little seating area right outside the room with stunning views down to the town and out to sea.
There was a well equipped kitchen area for each of the two floors and a wonderful breakfast was provided each day.
The communal areas of the guest house gave guests a chance to mingle and it was interesting to hear about the trips others were taking.
The cockatoos are very friendly too!
I can’t recommend this guest house enough. It is just perfect.

We had a great time staying Airlie Guest House! It’s located in a beautiful area and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, the supermarket, and the lagoon! In the morning you will have a complimentary breakfast and locally grown delicious mangoes all day long! Believe me, mangoes are very sweet! The view from the terrace is amazing and you will have the opportunity to feed the cockatoos in the morning and see a variety of birds all day long - we also saw parakeets! Mick and his team are very helpful and did an amazing job to make us feel like home. I highly recommend this place!

We stayed 2 nights at the Airlie Guest House. We felt like welcomed guests as it was a large house with 2 shared kitchens, yet had privacy with separate rooms with private bathrooms. Our room was large and tastefully decorated. There is a lovely couple there which manages the property and we also met the owner, Mic, who was friendly.

Fabulous stay at Airlie Guest House

I had a wonderful stay and would recommend Airlie Guest house to anyone. Fabulous house with plenty of space for all guests to enjoy (inside or out), short walk to the middle of town and Mick was a gracious host who can set guests up with tours. A lovely breakfast spread of cereals, toast / jams / etc, fresh fruit and even fresh muffins on occasion. The view and outside deck was my favourite.

Amazing place to stay. Just as the photos show. Fabulous room. Great views. Facilities were fabulous with good choice of help yourself breakfast. A full kitchen if you wanted to cook for yourself. Variety of places to relax/eat indoors and out and take in the view. Room was fabulous with comfy bed and en suite with brilliant shower. Air con. Huge tv. Mick the host was very pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. An extra touch was his wife’s baking produce each morning to sample. We would definitely stay again and recommend. One thing to mention though it is on a hill and may struggle if you have mobility restrictions but then looking at the area of Airlie Beach this is the same for most accommodation there.

Airlie beach house was a fantastic place to stay while visiting here. Mick was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable. If you are used to a big breakfast I would bring some oatmeal or eggs with you. There is a fridge you can put food/drinks in. They offer fruit, yogurt, cereal, and some baked goods (best banana chocolate chip muffins ever!)

The Guest House is a true gem! Here is why it stood out for us:
- great views of the harbour
- short walking distance to the downtown part of town and restaurants/shops/marina, etc
- someone greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the house and explained its amenities
- Mitch was able to provide tips/info to aid us in deciding what type of excursion to take to the Whitsunday, as well as booking it for us. He was very genuine in the info he provided and it felt as if we were receiving advice from a friend, vs. a travel agent. We also enjoyed our chats with him and learning more about Australia
- decent options for self-service breakfast (cereal, fresh fruit, bread, spreads, juice)
- great amenities on the property: lounge and bean-bag chairs on the lawn, a common room with a TV and sofa, 2 separate shared kitchen areas, 1 for downstairs and 1 for upstairs
- access to someone who can assist in making local travel arrangements

We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it wholeheartedly!

I sent multiple inquiries for tour coordination and such weeks prior to the trip dates but they never responded. Then I had to cancel this trip at the last min for personal reasons. They never offered any compensation or show any remorse to my situation but just took money. I didn’t find any friendliness or generously from this place at all.

Absolutely loved my time at the guest house! Easily walkable to downtown and the port for activities. The house is beautiful, with the common space large enough for guests to have their own space while meeting each other (everyone was lovely). Starting the day with coffee on the porch was a treat, and Mick and the house staff were super helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend staying here!

Excellent stay , allowed us in the room early after a long drive . Location and property superb. Day we left we were allowed to leave our car at the property as we were on a day excursion . Mick the owner picked us up from the harbour in pouring rain and allowed us to have a shower before we left . Gem of a Place!!

This is an excellent property with a friendly, caring owner. My room was pleasant and clean, with all the amenities well thought out. The location is perfect--walking distance to the harbor and most tours/excursions. There is a beautiful view of the bay from the property with a nice patio and/or deck with appropriate furniture for all to relax and enjoy the fresh air and view. The surrounding area is nice and very quiet. The owner, Mick, met me, showed me around, and made sure I was comfortable. He even bought me a treat for breakfast the morning I was leaving. He has set up a beautiful guest house in a dreamlike location. There are two kitchens available to guests with all the features you need to make yourself at home and prepare meals should you be inclined. I highly recommend this place, and would have stayed longer had I known ahead of time just how nice it was.

A gem of a property with wonderful staff. Mick and his team were on the front foot as soon as we arrived with a smile and friendliness showing us the property. Mick's property is in an outstanding location, just far enough from the main road to be very quiet, but close enough to the main road that you can still walk to everything.

The view from the deck is fantastic, the breakfast is very reasonable and the way the house is set up means you can interact with other guests as much or as little as you like.

Mick is always trying to make your stay the best he can. Can't recommend this place enough!

Such a beautiful property. Very well maintained and can see how much pride they have in their property. Stunning view. Clean and extremely comfortable rooms. Host was lovely and extremely helpful with booking tours for me and local tips. And they freshly baked muffins were delicious. Would definitely recommend and do hope to return again soon.

Amazing stay in a homely atmosphere with beautiful views across Airlie Bay. The owner Mick is super friendly and helpful (he even bakes muffins for guests some days!). Very clean accomodation with nice little touches, such as beautiful wooden floors. The kitchen is great and allows you to cook your own food if you’d like and the outdoor tables and sofa provides ample space for you to dine in tranquility and comfort. Highly recommended and we look forward to staying here again!

Beautiful Guest House fully renovated to a very high standard. Beautiful views looking over Airlie Beach but still only 650m to Main Street, beach & restaurants. Beautiful continental breakfast with extras. Room is very comfortable & spacious. Mike is a wonderful host who is very friendly & is available to suggest places to eat & explore the area. We would highly recommend staying here for a little piece of home away from home.

Owner didn’t Honor our booking . Claimed he couldn’t get in touch with me, and my bank declined false statement as it was a non payment booking. Then he offers me a very standard room without en-suite for cash . We went elsewhere.
