Room is clean, owner Brain is very nice and helpful. If you drive there , is very beautiful place to stay for a family. At the top of mountain range, 2 kms to the Harbour there is a cafe Bristol at Ferry terminal. Beautiful ocean view from balcony for every room. Recommend

Checking in was incredibly easy. The clear instructions, sent directly to my mobile, were perfect for someone like me arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning. The room itself was very spacious, complete with full-size furniture and a comfy bed. The view from the balcony was truly breathtaking. I'd highly recommend it as a place to spend some quiet time and just soak in the views.

Terrible place-don’t book! Far away from the port where all day trips go! Pool is not as advertised, room is too small. No plates or cutlery. If you have no own transport you are in trouble! No shops, no restaurants or cafes around,no manager on site!

The views of the bay are breathtaking. It's secluded, at least thee was not many people around that night.
The building is quite old, but the room was clean and fresh. We slept well on the mattress. Service was excellent, welcoming and friendly.
The place is located at 15 to 17 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Airlie township, as we had our car it wasn't s problem, that was even convenient for access to nearby lookout line Beak lookout.

No better location. Perfect views and lovely and quiet. Further from shops than expected but that was our lack of investigation initially. Owner was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it. Having a car would be a benefit.

I never saw any staff so I can’t speak to their service but I was greeted by a friendly cat called Sugar who showed us to our rooms and sat with us for a while to make sure we were comfortable before moving on. Best check-in ever.

Loved the view and Brian, the owner, was very kind. Unfortunately it rained quite a bit during our stay and the property is located well outside Airlie Beach -even the bus stop is a good (hilly) walk away. Would strongly recommend hiring a car when staying at Coral Point Lodge.

A room with an absolutely beautiful view. The lodges housekeeping and interior decorating need a huge improvement. In our 8 night stay the linen was never changed. The housekeeping was mediocre, towels were changed daily and tea and coffee supplies replenished daily, but often we had to ask for replenishment of soap bars and shampoo. The mugs and cutlery were also only washed in the small bathroom sink without proper dishwashing soap. The room cleanliness was way below average, dusty lampshades and light fittings, very dirty artwork which i had to remove since it was uncomfortable when sitting in bed and lots of dead bugs in every corner of the room. The cleanliness in the bathroom was not acceptable either with lots of black dirt in crevices. The toilet was holding together with duct tape. Photos to prove all of this.

Quiet location, steep rocky paths. Room and facilities adequate .Pool is great, and the view fantastic. Very enjoyable week. Recommend having your own transport. Shops are 15 k's approx. away.

The one endearing fact about Coral Point is its location - faultless!
Whilst I fully understand and appreciate the fact that Cyclone Debbie caused untold damage to this part of Queensland, 90% has been rectified and repaired. Not so Coral Point. It's run down and in desperate need of money spent on it. The pool is filthy and cracked, and the rooms are exceptionally basic (Don't read the facilities brochure - 95% is old and inaccurate.) The staff were friendly though (I only saw one member), and call once a day to \"see if you need anything\".
A MUST is to hire a car though - Coral Point cannot be reached by bus, and is a 30 minute uphill walk from the bus stop! But once at the top - the views are staggering!
If the owners spent some serious money - cleaned the buildings and gardens, painted inside and out, had a receptionist to greet you (I was greeted by a letter pinned to a noticeboard at 3pm in the arvo) - then this would be a really nice place to base yourself. Other than that - maybe stay in Airlie Beach until then.

View was fantastic, disappointed with comfort of the bed and chairs in the room, disappointed that the swimming pool was not clean, this may have been because the vendor considered it to be non swimming weather, but coming from Victoria we found the weather very pleasant. Glad i listened to the lady at the hire car company and brought groceries in Airlie Beach (the information I printed regarding the hotel and area from Expedia said a restaurant and cafe were available close by, this is not the case and we would have been with out food had I not brought groceries) the information in the room stated food was available from the Reception but the reception wasn,t maned at arrival due to the vendor being a sleep after night shift. I understand from locals that shute harbour sustained a lot of damage after the hurricane and that the area is still recovering, but for the amount of money that we paid I must admit we were disappointed.

Very difficult to find this lodge not clearly signposted. Had no contact at all with any staff. Envelope with instructions was left outside reception area (which was closed ) anyone could have accessed the unit. However the unit was very comfortable and well appointed

Great place for some R&R.

Clean comfortable unit with full kitchen minus dishwasher. Amazing views. Refreshing small swimming pool again with outstanding views. Need a car as a 10-15 min drive from Airlie Beach. Very pleasant and friendly host.

We couldn't stay at Coral Point Lodge

With thank to Debbie we couldn't stay at Coral Point Lodge because power was missing. We had to check in at Airlie Beach (Waters Edge) which was nearer to Supermarket and Mainstreet which we liked much more. Coral Point Lodge has a Great scenic view but is only comfortable for People who Loves the lonlyness.

Breath-taking views from the balcony

Room was disappointing - air-conditioning didn't work, balcony door wouldn't lock and the steps around the property were steep, some up to the pool area had no hand-rail, and some are of stone so uneven surfaces as well. This property is definitely not suitable for someone with a mobility problem. The site does say no lift, but it doesn't warn you that you cannot access rooms, BBQ area or pool without going up these difficult steps.

Amazing views! Quiet and peaceful, a short 10 minute scenic drive out of busy Airlie. Far enough to enjoy the quiet close enough to enjoy everything Airlie has to offer. The staff were lovely and friendly.
Well kept tropical feel grounds. It's on the point so there are quiet a few stairs to get around. It is older but it's clean and tidy. We would and have recommended Coral Point Lodge to friends and family.

Beautiful view

The owner is very nice but unfortunately he was quite busy during the week. However, he made sure we where comfortable and knew what to do around town. In terms of location the lodge offers a beautiful view over shute harbour. Public transport is a 15-20 min walk away and a taxi to arlie beach costs $35. I would recommend having a vehicle when staying at the lodge.
Overall I enjoyed my stay very much.

Million Dollar View

This motel has a million dollar view, breath taking. The location is about 15 minutes from the centre of Airlie Beach, giving you that space from the busy tourist activities. The sounds and views of nature are refreshing. The manager was friendly and obliging and made you feel very welcome. We have stayed here a few times over the years and will continue to do so. The room has a toaster and microwave, but you need to bring your food.

The view is what the Whitsundays are all about.

We sat on the balcony watching the yachts move about on the water the palm trees swaying in the cool breeze. We just loved it. It's quiet very clean our studio had all we required.
If you love shops, night life maybe not the spot for you as a little out of town. But for great walks lovely views of lush tropical Queensland it has it.

My wife and me spent three nights here and were very happy from the first minute. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice with great views and a comfy bed. The drive to Airlie takes only 10 minutes and there are buses too. We had a very good relaxing time in the Coral Point Lodge and we will be back.

Lovely, private and friendly

Coral Point Lodge was a lovely, friendly place to stay, away from the business of Airlie Beach. Brian and Eva were excellent hosts, giving us lifts down to the bus and lending us a kayak. The views were stunning and our downstairs executive studio was ultra private.

A true one million dollar view

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is the perfect place to be if you want to be on the coast but don't like the bustling backpacker and tourist hurly-burly in Airlie Beach. The atmosphere is familiar, friendly and the view from the balcony is a true one million dollar view. You get more than you paid for. You might just get disturbed by neighbours in another room (which did not happen during our stay) - there is no traffic in front of your room and the only \"noise\" you hear might be some birds on one of the palm trees in front of the balcony or a small fishermen's boats in the lagoon. Very romantic, quiet, a pity we had to leave after just two nights.

Nice views and lovely staff.

We would stay here again. Pretty good for one night stays. Beds aren't very comfy but had everything we needed for budget accommodation. A little out of the way from everything but possible to catch a bus or taxi. Although, taxis are expensive if you're wanting to go all the way to Airlie and the bus bay is a fair hike. Would only recommend staying here if you have your own transport. Owners were lovely and accommodating. Quite a lot of stairs, but a lovely view from the room balcony.

Peace and a million dollar view on a budget

The cleanliness of the place was better than some 4 star establishments I have stayed in. Owner was very friendly and welcoming. This is one of those hidden out of the way gems. Sadly the weather put a damper on the weekend but my stay was enjoyable.As a solo traveller it is on my list to come back to!

Stunning location

Can't rate this highly enough. Good sized rooms with all mod Von's and very clean. Fantastic location, took heaps of photos from the balcony. Friendly owner, took care of us and nothing was too much bother. Could have done with softer pillows but that was the only negative. My children especially liked the pool and playing with the owners daughter.highly recommend if you want some peace and tranquility but still close enough to the action of Airlie beach. Kids already asking when we're coming back!
