Apartment itself was wonderful, so spacious and very tastefully decorated.

Complimentary items were great.

Having a washing machine and dryer was handy.

As advertised the location is on a steep hill, with further hills within the resort. Taxi prices did vary.

Definately some pros and cons to our stay here! Pros include: nice and quiet, amazing view of the sea, close distance to places to eat/woolworths, nice and spacious, pools really nice and suitable for kids too.
Cons inlcude: very very steep hill climb to accommodation if you plan on walking, lots of steps (not fun for carting heavy suitcases), beds not comfortable, no blanket on beds just a sheet? Found some old looking thin blankets in cupboard, 1 had a few questionable stains on it and another blanket literally had bits of material coming off of it like it was disintegrating. Inside of the building could be made really nice with some upgrading as alot of things look very old and worn, peeling etc.

Josephine was friendly and helpfull and went out of her way to help our daughter retrieve her bracelet from the pool.
Highly recommend staying here its so close to everything, just a bit of a workout walk on the way back ,but its definitely worth it!!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by an unexpected upgrade to a villa. The villa was absolutely stunning, with top-notch amenities. The views from the villa were glorious and utterly breathtaking, making every moment spent there feel like a dream.

One thing to note is that the hike to the villa was quite challenging, enough to make me decide to hire a car for the duration of my stay. However, the effort was well worth it for the amazing experience.

Toscana village was absolutely wonderful. The views from each apartment are amazing and it's only a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants. It is located on a steep hill but anyone fit would have no trouble at all. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and well maintained.

Views from main bedroom & lounge were beautiful. Definitely needs some work. Air cons weren’t working properly & the control on wall for main one wouldn’t work at all. Finally found a universal one in bottom draw & that worked. Somebody in management needs to do regular walk through for maintenance not rely on staff.
Were supposed to have 3 King beds but arrived to find only two & two singles. Manager blamed booking site, however they would have known what they had listed with booking site.
Also difference in price, also blamed on to booking site by manager. Didn’t set a good feel for the weekend.
Anybody booking this property through Wotif needs to either double check everything or book directly through property.
Communication with property very slow & that was also blamed on staff.
Having been an accommodation owner myself I have found that no matter what the buck stops with you. Stand up & be counted because otherwise it just makes you look like an idiot

Toscana is in a great location close to Airlie Beach shops, dining etc. It is a steep walk home but also a cheap taxi fare home. The view from the balcony is awesome. Facility is old and in need of a refurbish. Our 3 bedroom apartment was not well cleaned which concerned us.

Very spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with everything you'd need including a laundry, huge closets, Smart TV, sunny balcony, Wi-Fi, and huge spa bath tub.

The view of the sea and the sunset was just spectacular.

You are very close to a huge Woolies and loads of bars and restaurants. Its a short walk up a steep hill but I liked it! Good way to burn off those ice-creams.

The pools are great however we went in winter and they weren't heated, so the kids didn't want to swim in them because they were freezing, despite the nice sunny days. That was a shame as I felt like the pools were a big reason why I chose this place.

Also, there are split system cooling units in all the rooms which would be great for summer, but oddly they don't seem to have a heating function (I read the manual and all) which wasn't wasn't ideal for us in Winter. Similarly, there was only one cotton blanket for each bed and we were all pretty cold at night.

My main criticism of this place was the crockery and cookware. This was a pretty luxe apartment being called the \"penthouse\" and all, yet I felt the pots/pans/utensils etc were the sort of quality you'd get at the Op Shop, and that's probably being generous here. Really old, worn, flimsy and cheap. Its not that expensive to invest in half decent stuff, and I'd expect a bit more in terms of quality for a high-end place like this. I will say however the electric fry pan was great (albeit difficult to fit in the sink to clean!).

Great communication and welcoming from reception. Wonderful views. Older style property but perfectly clean. Only an over night stay but not a very quiet unit and we didn’t sleep so well. Loud people drinking on the balcony next door early evening then the noise of when they returned from town late at night. Loud crash of bottles dumped in the bin next to our unit at 6am. Very tight parking for larger cars. No lifts. 20 stairs to the first floor. Ensuite door was in bad condition and beds not so comfortable. The size of the apartment was more than adequate. Would stay at this property again if there was an alternative quieter unit with more comfortable beds.

Pool areas are a bit family oriented and may leave a little bit to wish for a young couple. Quite steep path up to the hotel which otherwise is within walking distance to everything Airlie Beach got to offer.

Good wifi connection other than the 500mb per device cap which can make it a bit tricky for business traveller's/WFH folks.

We stayed in unit 24 and its view was absolutely amazing from anywhere within the unit. The unit was a good size and could easily accomodate a family of 5. It is a very close walk to the Woolworths, restaurants, cafes, shops and lagoon however it is on a very steep hill so it is a very short intense walk. The floors on the unit are not well insulated so you can hear what is going on above you if they shout or move furniture.
Toscana is well worth a stay and I will probably stay again.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay and the hosts looked after us very well. They put us into a top unit with amazing views and sourced sparkling wine and chocolates for my wife's birthday.

It's up on a hill for the views so expect some steep hills but nothing a $6 cab ride from town won't solve. They call it the $6 hill 👍

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Toscana Village Resort ..
Spacious rooms with an amazing view of the Whitsundays.
Josephine was a most helpful host who arranged our tour and provided a wealth of local knowledge.

Golden Orchard Drive is steep and a testing walk from town but is all part of getting the best views.
Loved the touch of Tuscany which all made for an memorable stay.

The front desk staff was amazing and helped us for all our activities. The only thing is that the pictures as advertised show much better condition of the unit than what we got. While the view was spectacular and the the overall space and deck of our unit fantastic, the kitchen was extremely dated and the bathroom was as well. So, the place didn’t look as clean since it had build up from many years of use.
Overall, it was sufficient but I don’t think just sufficient is something anyone wants.

Well-equipped 3br apartment with outstanding views, laundry, kitchen, and garage. This is more of an extended stay rental property than a conventional full-service hotel. Good amenities, four pools, and an easy walk downhill to restaurants and the Airlie lagoon. One improvement would be daily cleaning and fresh linens given the prices paid. Rooms are only serviced weekly or after check-out, resulting in a long-term buildup of dust and grime in some areas that aren’t regularly cleaned by professionals. Still, a great visit and we would like to return someday.

Accommodation was just lovely. Spacious, beautiful Mediterranean style and hosts who couldn't have been more accommodating. The Ocean view was simply spectacular.

Only downside is the property is on a steep hill and difficult to climb back up to after visiting town. We r in our early 60's so please take that into account. You could always taxi back.

What a View

After a considerable absence from the area we visited for an extended week-end with family. The changes to Airlie as realisation of development proposals, seen years previously, were awesome. The affects of TC Debbie were also still evident 4 months after they occurred but much work has been done to restore the area and most things were operational.
Having never stayed at the \"resorts on the hill\" previously this was our first visit, but won't be the last.
We were given a top floor unit with a magnificent view that extended to the horizon. What a way to wake up every day!
The weather was perfect -clear blue sky and warm days and the nights ware still warm too (20C while most places dropped to near 10C or less in Qld and colder in southern states).
Could walk to the main street, shopping centres and many attractions but climbing back up the hill on foot was a killer. Reminded me of the hills in San Francisco. What a way to get fit.

Best views from your balcony

The location is the best. Being on the hill doesn't detract as many of the best excursions pick you up and drop you off. Sitting outside gives you a sense of calm and awe of the beauty of this area. Room is comfortable and zoned cooling allows you to control your environment.

The position and views from Toscana are unparalled looking our over Airlie and the Whitsundays and well worth the walk up the hill. The pool and bbq facilities are great, and welcome after a day out and about. Whilst our room was a little tired and could do with a furniture upgrade throughout, sitting on the balcony is the way to go, admiring the magnificent vista.

Difficult times after Cyclone Debbie

We were visiting the week after one of the worst cyclones in decades so our situation was a-typical. We were grateful that the electricity was restored to our hotel within minutes of our checking in.
Here is what we liked:
the apartment was spacious, sunny and had great views, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied, the location was close to downtown and a supermarket.
Here are the cons:
The location was on an extremely steep hill and it would have been nice to have been warned about that since we don't use a car and had to walk it. It was noisy both from the late night partying from the town and the conversations from the neighboring apartments. the 300MB limit on internet use was also a disappointment because we rely on internet a lot when traveling and don't watch TV. The washing machine did not work.

My overnight stay in Airlie, with two girlfriends was made even better when we were offered an upgrade to a 3 bedroom apartment! The accommodation was comfortable, clean, tidy and contained all we needed. The views are amazing, location is quiet and the pool only a short walk from the apartment.

We stayed in Toscana in December for 3 nights to attend a wedding at Villa Botanica. The accommodation was excellent with lovely views and patios. The Managers, Jo Matthews and David were very friendly and helpful. However we were concerned about the steepness of the resort. We had read about this in other reviews. On the last day my husband had an accident on the driveway due to them cleaning it with water and chlorine, so it was like ice. Fortunately he was not seriously injured but his jacket was ruined by the bleach. The situation has since then been dealt with and I must commend Jo for her diligence in trying to remedy things as soon as possible. She tracked the jacket down in London, but we were unable to find the size. Toscana immediately recompensed us for it. I thank her for attending to this. Apart from this , our stay was lovely and the wedding fabulous, but I do stress that the steepness of this resort , with many stairs to apartments is quite hazardous for anyone when wet. Thank goodness, my husband is not elderly or I fear he would have been severely injured.

We had a lovely time at Toscana Village Resort. You could never get tired of the fantastic views. But the walk up the hill & up to your unit is hard work!!!

Awesome hotel, the best views. The kids loved it!

Close to the main strip but far enough away. Was an awesome experience that the family will never forget. The only suggestion would be to have more seating in the lounge area for a family to relax after a big day exploring.

Amazing!!!

Great place to stay. Right by the main town centre and an easy walk. Steep hill to walk up but great exercise. Great views. Great pools. Wifi is minimal but everything else was amazing!!!

Exceptional Ocean & Airlie Beach Views

Very spacious, clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Exceptional views of the ocean and Airlie Beach, more than compensate the walk up the hill. A very enjoyable stay.

Nice apartments big hill.

We knew before we went that there was a hill but we didn't realise that the hill was as steep as it was, but it was a good work out every day with two young children. The views are amazing and the apartment was clean and tidy. We would stay again the location was good and close to the main street.
