Very nice staff, clean room. The hotel is located in an alley, so you have to drag your bags on pebbled streets to get there, as cars and buses do not enter the alley.

The person at the front desk can help with your bags at check out, and take you to the main street.

I didn’t have breakfast there so I couldn’t comment on it. But the young man at the reception was very kind and he asked me if I knew that breakfast was served in the hotel.

The hotel is very close to the lake. You walk about 50 meters, then around the corner on the right hand side, you will see the lake. This is a big plus for the hotel.

Shower works well. I like it.

Location was good in regards to the lake and shopping about 10 min walk.

As far as free complimentary breakfast goes… they told me I had to pay to get my child a plate of food I guess its only free to adults?.. makes no sense to me also the guests who ate prior to us had more choices so if you want a good breakfast wake up early and be the first ones there.

Sorpresivamente bueno por el precio que pague.

Mi estadía fue solo por una noche y mi habitación era de dos camas individuales, T.V con cable y baño privado. Todo estaba muy limpio y silencioso. El hotel en general y las habitaciones eran muy sencillas pero tenía todo lo necesario para mi viaje. La ubicación es solo a 3 bloques de la calle Santander, la cual es la principal del pueblo y a 6 bloques del embarcadero de lanchas. El desayuno se sirve en una terraza con vista al lago y el volcán y de fue pan, huevos revueltos, frijoles, frutas y café. El hotel provee agua filtrada a sus huéspedes. El wifi es gratis y el joven del front desk muy amable, muy informativo y hasta me dijo cómo ahorrar dinero en la ciudad y en las lanchas. En general lo más relevante en mi estadía fue el servicio al cliente que me dieron los empleados, fue excelente ! Lo recomiendo.

It was clean with comfortable beds and it had a nice garden. The young man who worked a couple of the nights we were there was very pleasant and worked so hard to make our stay very pleasant, but it was very hard to enjoy our stay because the place was so noisy with a very loud evangelical church next door and so many alleys around the property with motorcycles driving by all day. I was very disappointed with the young woman and a young man that were in charge of hotel a couple of nights. The young man did not even let the young woman respond when I asked questions. The hotel's location is very inconvenient for walking. I will not return.

It’s not the best option in Panajachel, but it does include breakfast for a low price. They need to clean the bathrooms and the bed sheets too. Also, the door from the room # 8 was not working well. The staff is friendly and the place where this hotel is located used be quiet during the 3 days we were there.

The hotel is a bit out of the main tourist area so you would think it would be quiet, but the hotel has a very noisy at late hours set of neighbors which make it challenging for light sleepers like me. Plus, the hotel description claims room darkening curtains, but I was in 2 rooms and looked in several others, and there are no curtains in most rooms and very thin ones in the others. I've been in darker solariums at sunrise. So the noise makes it hard to get to sleep early and the sun makes it hard to stay asleep.
The staff are very friendly and the hotel is old but clean. The fescy on hotels.com says they speak Spanish and English, but no one I encountered over 2 days spoke even a little English. No issues, it is a Spanish speaking country, but just be aware you need to speak some Spanish if you want an easier stay.

Great little hotel. Family run. Fairly close to the lake. A block and a bit off the Main Street. Very clean rooms, a bit small. Great private bathroom with a shower but no hot water.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise! We chose it because they had large rooms that would fit our family of 7. For the price I wasn't expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived a little after midnight and they were there to let us in and get us settled. Breakfast was amazing! Fresh baked food and fresh fruit up on the rooftop terrace. It was an amazing welcome to Guatemala! The staff were all so kind and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Slightly odd place, apparently built for Chinese tourists or business travelers (Chinese statues outside and in hall). Very roomy and ridiculously well equipped in terms of electric kitchen gadgets -- blender, toaster etc. Near the airport, which is what we wanted.

It should be clear that it is in an alley within an alley and it can be very dangerous at night, it is a 3 block walk to get to a Main Street. The hotel is very noisy at night, sine the rooms have metal doors you can hear all your neighbors and people going in and out.

I was generally happy except for missing any kind of clothing cabinet or at least a standing hanger, at least one chair (I had to grab one from outside) and a small table (I had to use the bedside table for that).

Se eu puder dar um conselho, ABSOLUTAMENTE NAOOOO FIQUE NESTE “hotel”. Eu não sei nem por onde começar: sujo demais, até uma maçã PODRE tinha embaixo da cama quando chegamos. Tudo caindo aos pedaços. Tínhamos três diárias e só conseguimos tomar café em um dia, nos outros não tinha café e nem ninguém pra servir, tivemos que tomar fora. O chuveiro virava uma piscina, a água voltava inteira do ralo e era impossível demorar no banho. A localização é PESSIMA! Num beco super escuro e sujo. Enfim, foi o pior lugar que já fiquei na vida. Na recomendo!

太嘈吵，因周圍住宅及多電單車出入，居民深夜街頭談話，遠離市居及超市，但價錢合理包早餐，不能要求太多。入住安全為首要原因。因太嘈吵要求換房，職員亦落意安排比較清靜一間，能在這渡過美好回憶。

El hotel es muy sencillo, pero tiene lo básico para una estancia en Panajachel. Tomando en cuenta que lo que uno necesita es un lugar para dormir y bañarse. Tiene ducha con agua caliente, televisión, cama cómoda. Las señoras del aseo muy amables y el desayuno estaba delicioso.

La ubicación real del Hotel no coincide con la que muestran en el mapa, es al fondo de un callejon que de primera vista no se ve muy seguro, al final te das cuenta que es seguro pero la primera impresion es mala. Cuando llegue no habia nadie en la recepcion. Justo a lado hay una iglesia, y el domingo por la noche me toco muchisimo ruido de musica y gente cantando de la iglesia. En la noche cierran la puerta principal y nadie te avisa que tienen una a un lado que debes usar en caso de que quieras salir por la noche. La habitacion estaba bien pero le hacen fala detalles de mantenimiento.

Nieuwe gedeelte prima

Kreeg een upgrade naar het nieuwe gedeelte. Ziet er mooier uit dan het oude gedeelte. Jammer dat het ontbijt maar van 8-9 uur is waardoor ik niet kon ontbijten op de 2 dagen dat ik een excursie had. De meneer vroeg wel of ik niet wilde ontbijten, hij is heel attent maar spreekt geen Engels. De eerste dag moest ik zoeken waar ik kon ontbijten en duurde het lang voor het ontbijt klaar was. 2de ontbijt op het dakterras was snel.
Mijn kamer grensde aan het steegje waar de kerk aan ligt. De eerste avond dacht ik dat er een disco was en ben gaan kijken. Bleek de kerk te zijn die zoveel lawaai produceert. Iedere avond van ongeveer 7-9 was er herrie. Als je om die tijd gaat eten ontloop je dat.
Verder prima op loopafstand van de hoofdstraat en het meer of voor 5 Quetzales een tuktuk.

El PEOR HOTEL de Panajachel.

El peor hotel y servicio que he reservado en hoteles.com, se reservo una habitacion cuadruple y solo asignaron una doble con cargos extras, pesima ubicacion y engañosas fotografias del hotel y habitaciones.

Al principio, tuve un poco de problema con la reserva, que Expedia, agilmente soluciono.

Despues, lastimosamente se fue la energia electrica en el pueblo, tema que queda fuera de los alcances del Hotel, pero no tenian ninguna medida alterna para que tuvieramos energia electrica y lo peor, agua potable. La energia volvio a las 11 am, pero el Hotel tuvo problemas con el sumimistro de agua. No hubo agua el resto de la noche. Se restablecion hasta como las 6:30 am.

Al hacer el check out, tuve que esperar casi media hora, por que no habia nadie que atendiera.

Por ultimo, a mi criterio muy personal, el costo/benefecio no es muy bueno.

Lo que si tengo que decir, es que la dueña se porto muy amable pero que hay aspectos a mejorar.

Intalaciones nuevas , camas buenas y limpieza buena, solo esta un tanto escondido, calle muy estrecha y poco parqueo, se fue la luz en la ciudad por 24 hrs o mas y no hubo apoyo para tener luz en las habitaciones, ni candelas, tuve que ir a comorarlas , ademas al no haber luz los hospedados que llegaron tarde esa noche no abrian la puerta por que no hubonquien abriera, dando de gritos por dos horas hasta que les abrieron lanpuerta, fue totalmente incomodo.
