We only stayed 1 night, the room is very small with just 2 bunk beds. Nothing else.
The good think it has a very good mattress and perfectly white sheets .
In the lobby you can order some food: breakfast and dinner( extra cost). They called us a taxi for airport( uber is more expensive in Bologna).
In all, a very good stay, we just slept there 1 night, didn’t needed anything special

This was one of the most amazing stays after traveling 13 hours. It was so nice to have an amazing welcome from the staff. The room was amazing with DARK SHADES which was amazing for sleeping. Highly recommend !!!

OK for the super-low price.
Beware that the Marconi Express doesn't start early enough for the first morning flights, so you'll likely need to take the bus to the airport -- and the station is a long walk.
An electrical socket near the bed would have been a nice touch -- for those wanting to charge the phone without leaving it unattended in a room with strangers.

This was my first experience in a hostel and i want disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms large with very large windows. Beds comfortable and bathrooms spacious. The property is well treed and has a great outdoor seating area. The only negative is there are few restaurants close by.

Hostel a bit far from the city

There aren't many options for budget hostels in Bologna, so while this one would do, it was also a pretty far walk from town. So if budget is your priority then I would stay but it was a bit inconvenient but the rooms were fine.

We had a very nice 3-day stay at this hostel. Our twin room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was nice to have a private bathroom, a fridge in the room, as well as access to the common kitchen downstairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this hostel to everyone.

The Combo was located near train and short walk to the city center, bikes available. The rooms were clean and spacious.
The mattress was adequate but nothing to rave about. Front staff was helpful and friendly accommodating during check in. We had a private room and would book again for a longer stay.

I had a short stay at we bologna but i loved it. The room was amazing and ver good breakfast. The AC didnt work that well, or maybe it was just me not knowing how to work with it. Only negative point i have to say is they guy that was usualy at the bar at night and in the morning (tall, blue eyes, kind off blond) was always very rude and unwelcome.
Apart from him all was lovely!

Great place to stay in Bologna. City centre is a boy of a walk, but staff is really friendly. Good breakfast and coffee available. Rooms were spacious and had a fridge. Also a lot of chairs and tables available outside to relax. Don't leave the window open during noght as there are plenty of mosquitoes (AC in the room).

Ok but not amazing.

Distance from station is significant. It looks close on map but its not exactly a quick stroll. For anything related to groceries etc. Be prepared to arrive prepared before hand, as its quite a trip to go out and come back to the hostel. There's one direct bus from the street across the hostel that will take you to the centre of town. However don't bother leaving your luggage at the hostel (unless its really a lot).

There's one bathroom that is shared by four, and generally ok. The breakfast was better than expected. Coffee is good and well prepared by the staff. There can be a lot of crowds at certain times of the day.

Very clean and cheery, with high quality soundproof windows and lots of common space. Plenty of hot water, shampoo and clean towels. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Couples have to sleep on separate twin beds similar to a dorm setup that cannot be pushed together. Location far but walkable (20 mins) to the center of town, and very quiet at night near the train tracks. Would've been better if there's a shuttle or free bike rentals.

Bella Hostel!!!

We_Bologna... is a GREAT Hostel, used it weekend ending 11th - 14th January 2019. Rooms are very clean, shower is very good & great standard . Breakfast Buffet is AMAZING!!!!. one of the best Hostel Hotel i have stayed and the fact that Breakfast is included, that's just Fabulous. staff are very friendly too.

Great hostel with free breakfast daily! Loved the fact that my room has an attached bathroom for just the four people in the room. Quite far out from the city centre if one was to walk (which meant a quiet and peaceful sleep for all of us), but the transportation system was efficient! Only downside was that there is only 1 bus service near the hostel and it is not in service on Sundays.

It's a bugs life

This place had bugs everywhere, coming through the window, in the bed and mosquitos galore. I did not stay 1 night out of the three that I booked. I checked out early and told them why. They didn't say sorry or apologise or offer any compensation, I would never stay here again or recommend anyone to stay here. The location looks great on the map when infact you have to walk down a dark woodland area to get to the hostel so I belive this is unsafe for solo female travelers. The free drink offered is cheap wine or soft drinks and the breakfast is cakes. Don't bother. I wish I hadn't of wasted so much money

We had a big room with a private bathroom, which was modern and clean, ideally designed for students. Rate included a simple but OK buffet breakfast. The hostel management obviously cares about its facilities and the staff were efficient. Good wifi, but insecure (no password). Well located, 1 km to train station and a further 1.5 km to town centre, with a bus stop close if don’t want to walk.

Worth the walk out of the centre, this hostel is perfect for chilling in the garden or hanging out with new friends. The room was spotless, had all the facilities you’d need and was just really nice and welcoming. 10/10 recommend. The only thing to be mindful is walking back at night... best to stay in groups or split a taxi.

Great hostel and location

The location of the hostel was really close to the station and easy walk to the centre of Bologna. The hostel looked really welcoming with a lovely outside area. Check in was quick and easy - and a lovely surprise for a token to exchange for a free beer/soft drink. The room was clean, large and airy. Breakfast was super nice and the kitchen facilities were amazing. Really enjoyed my stay and would go there again.

Really great place to stay, well located and serviced. The staff were really lovely - 24hr reception too. The rooms are cleaned daily and there's even en suites! Only downside was there wasn't enough cutlery in the kitchen, but then it did have a very good kitchen and the breakfast was free!

My wife and I thought this hostel was really cool and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was normal, but just fine. We did our laundry there and it didn't cost much. Most of the guests were young and partied some, but the hostel did have quiet time after 11pm. We extended our stay 1 day and would stay there again.

Really nice place!

This is a very nice facility and I loved staying here. Proper hostel with lots of guests and an easy place to make friends with other adventurers. The location is a little far from the center but it has incredible access to the train station via underground passage way.... I suggest cutting through this way to get to the city center as well though they close it off around midnight or so.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. We had a private room which was better than most hotels. Really clean with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Lots to do on site but only 25 minutes walk to the centre. One of the best trips I've had. Will definitely stay here again.

Awesome hostel

The hostel is conveniently located near the train station, has WiFi, laundry facilities, a big kitchen and dining area, a bar with snacks, a quiet room, and lots of social areas. In the dorm rooms are outlets and lights for each bed, huge lockers, a table and chairs, and a very nice hotel like bathroom. There is also air conditioning in the rooms, which is great in the summer heat. The beds are solid and comfortable. I think you can arrange for a haircut there and bicycle rentals too. 24 hour check-in is super convenient and the staff is friendly and helpful. This place is a really good value. I extended my first stay there and returned about a month later. It's everything you could want in a hostel.

We booked with breakfast buffet and at check in they told us that they were not serving the buffet any more and they couldn't reimburse us for the difference, which is ok, however they had the croissants behind the counter and we had to purchase the croissants that we already paid for. Not good.
They have laundry facilities. Just for a night is good.

The hostel is close to the central station, but in a more industrial area. Everything is walkable though. The room was great, the lockers are large, the staff friendly, great kitchen and lounge space, and a good environment. When most people were in the hostel (mornings and evenings), the WiFi was a bit slow.

Very good choice to visit Bologna and other cities

All was very good.I liked this accommodation because is near of railway central station and city centre.
I stayed three nights and I visited in first day Bologna,in second day Venezia and in last day Firenze with the train at small price (12,50€/person)
every day we go with the train at 6.00 a.m.and we returned in Bologna at 10 p.m.
This accommodation don't have tv but the wireless internet have very good signal and speed
We recommend it!

The staff, the accommodations, the cleanliness and the amenities were great, including on site bike rental.

A few things were not, the breakfast, €4, was lacking, the location meant a 1 km walk before you were in the core and attractions, and then further from there.

My biggest disappointment was while I was gone the day clerk moved me to another room. That is completely acceptable, as large parties, groups, etc check in. What was completely unacceptable was that the clerk opened up my backpack and shoved my personal items into it, that is a privacy issue. After 3 trips up and down from my new room complaining that I was missing at least two articles, and getting a response that they were in my pack, I insisted on financial compensation, and then he magically located them.

This should have been handled differently. The items from my nightstand, and bathroom should have been put in a bag or box. There should have been an apology for the employee violating my personal privacy/luggage. And lastly there should have been some small gesture offered, such as a free breakfast, small discount, a beer, anything.

Additionally, two people should have carried this out, as I'm still not sure that I have everything.

We were a group of five friends (older ladies) staying for two nights at the Hostel. The rooms were very spacious and functional. The bonus was the kettle for tea/coffee making. We were very impressed with the Hostel and facilities but found the breakfast very simple but for 4 Euros it was adequate.

The hostel isn't too far from the centre. The staff were nice. The free wifi at the hostel is terrible, and the breakfast, which costs €4 was also pretty pathetic. All you get for €4 is some toast. There was no laundry detergent available which was disappointing. I do realise that anywhere in Italy you are likely to pay a lot for accommodation, however this place was pretty expensive for a hostel, on a travellers budget. The place gives off a very hipster vibe, so if you're a hipster, then I'd recommend the place.
