My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I had no issues with my room. It is smaller than hotel standards in North America, but it was large enough for me as a solo traveller.
The staff were very helpful at answering my questions , they have lots of information about what to do in Reykjavik, restaurant recommendations and they are very considerate and eager to help if you need it.

Great place to stay to experience Reykjavik!!! Close to a lot of pickups for day tours. By a bunch of restaurants, bars, and main attractions. Staff was helpful and called taxis for us. Highly recommend.

Location was great. Rooms were very sparse but clean. Breakfast was adequate. Biggest issue was noise at night. We had to keep the windows open to get fresh air (no A/C), but there was a restaurant in the courtyard below and we could hear patrons until late at night.

Everything went well. The room was clean and the bed was fine. Easy to get to and from the bus and the scooters you can rent were fantastic for getting around. Would highly recommend. Breakfast was perfect way to start the busy day. There were lots of shops and restaurants. Our fav was the soup in a bread bowl down Main Street.

Center Hotels Klopp is in a great location. It is walkable to many restaurants, sights, and bus stops. The included breakfast was simple but good. Only complaint is that there was a foul smell in the elevator. Overall, we were pleased. And I would stay there again.

This was a good, solid 3-star hotel in a great location, one block off Reykjavik's mail pedestrian street (Laugavegur), and 3 blocks from Reykjavik's bus stops 6 (level walk) and 14 (downhill from the hotel). The accommodation was compact but comfortable. The continental breakfast was very nice and in a pleasant setting in the lobby. We appreciated the friendly and helpful front desk staff - Farouk steered us to a great Icelandic pub, 3 blocks away, which became our regular dinner venue!

The location was fantastic, very close to shopping, great restaurants, the water and bus station. The single room was cozy but plenty of room - as mentioned by others, the bathroom is VERY compact with a small shower, but again perfect for one. Staff very helpful with directions and storing luggage. Try the Cocktail Lounge next door for fancy gin drinks in a restored Champagne Train car!

Rooms were clean. Staff was amazing and suggested a lot of great food ideas, and places that we should’t miss, always welcoming. The breakfast was included and there were a lot of different options which we appreciated. There were other Center hotels and you could use there facilities when you were out exploring the city.

There is a very noisy Irish Pub across the street. The television in the room did not work and after requesting help from the front desk clerk every day for four days, nothing was ever done. There was a strong sewer gas smell in the room.

Great place, super convenient. Loud bar across the street, but nice I turned on my white noise app, I couldn’t hear it. Parking is tricky, but receptionist is super helpful in telling you where you can park. I would drop off bags and then park, as you will likely have to walk a bit.

I stayed at Center Hotels Klopp and Center Hotels Plaza in Reykjavik.

While Center Hotels Klopp is definitely more central, this also brings some disadvantages - noise and light from the street below. As a result, I didn't get a good night's sleep here.

When you're booking a hotel room from the other side of the world, it's hard to tell how central a place is. But the reality is, both of these two hotels are a quick walk from each other. Whilse Center Hotels Plaza has its own issues (principally that the rooms are *tiny*) I wish I had stayed there instead for my last night in Iceland.

The property is in a perfect location. In the city center. A quick walk away from Church etc. The rooms are very small and shower VERY small with the toilet right up against the wall. If you are large, dont stay here. Very clean, staff very informed and helpful. We stayed during a summer festival which took place directly in front of our hotel. It was loud and the front desk staff locked us out due to the people outside. More communication would have been better. Overall good location and clean. Id recommend if you dont care for fancy. Breakfast included also-it was okay.

A perfect location, a 15 minute walk gets you almost everywhere. The shopping, the famous bakeries, ice cream, soup restaurants, street food are all moments away. Walk up the hill from the hotel to the church or down the hill to the waterfront and the voyager sculpture on the waterfront.
The staff are very pleasant, not in the usual over the top hospitality is my life dream way, but knowledgeable and willing to help may your stay perfect.
The breakfast included is hearty, oatmeal with toppings, cereal, bakeries, herring, beets and sour cream. Hard boiled eggs, skyr and meats and cheeses for protein. Milk, juice, coffee and tea for beverages.
Rooms can be a little small but fine for your visit.
A great location, parking garage right down the street, with limited street parking. I would recommend!

My booking was cancelled without explanation at 5:00 PM and I was relocated to another hotel, Center Hotel Plaza. I was assigned an attic-style room with a ceiling less than one metre above the bed, which was unacceptable, so I had to go to the front desk to request a normal room. After my stay l discovered my AirPods Pro were missing; I messaged the hotel to locate my AirPods Pro but have not received a reply. I hope the hotel will take my request seriously and assist in locating and returning my AirPods

Located opposite an Irish pub. Music till early hours with loud singing. Plus seemed to be a main thoroughfare all night for passing revellers. We got no sleep at all. Bathroom had a very strage smell also. Very small rooms.

Location right in heart of things. Room was nice size. Breakfast decent variety. Down side: parking is huge hassle as there is no dedicated parking and street parking is difficult. Can’t use parking garage if you need your car before 7 am. The Irish pub across the street had very loud music until about 1:30. And the biggest complain is the terrible bed. The coils poked against the surface when laying on the bed partially in the hip area. Made for a very uncomfortable sleeping.

The hotel front desk staff was very friendly and answer all our questions and helpful. The hotel was 2 blocks away from bus stop 14. Breakfast was wonderful. The lady who took care of breakfast did a great job working alone. Very quick and efficient and very friendly. Room was clean except not a fan of the shower situation. Floor got wet every time. Frig was a plus except we did not make use of it. We will next time. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This hotel was clean and very convenient to everything I wanted to see in Reykjavik and also 3 blocks from a bus stop. It is a simple, no frills type of hotel but it suited my needs since I was out sightseeing all day. Faruk at the front desk was very attentive and helpful. I liked that the other Center Hotel locations were available for assistance should I need it as I explored Reykjavik. Having breakfast included was also a good perk. I would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to stay to explore the city on foot and is a quick walk to the pickup for bus tours. It is a bit of a walk from the bus station to/from the airport, but certainly doable. Great staff, nice room. I would return.

On the receptionist desk, there’s a sign board “we love chat.” It makes it easy for all the guests to ask questions about possible day tours etc. to the receptionists. I see all the receptionists were passionate in giving supports for tourists and exchanging friendly chat with all the guests. I believe all these excellent staffs’ attitudes are adding value to this hotel significantly.

I had a really good stay at Center Hotels Klopp. The location is perfect (right in the middle of everything), so I could walk to all the sights, restaurants, and shops without any hassle. The staff were all super friendly and helpful; from the receptionists giving me restaurant tips and helping with my airport transfer, to the cleaners who kept my room tidy.

The rooms are a bit basic and could use some updating, but they were comfy and very clean, which was what mattered most to me after a long day out.

I asked for a quiet room, and while I did get one on the 2nd floor, it was a bit close to the Irish Pub next door, so it got a little noisy at night. Earplugs did the trick for me, so it wasn’t a big deal, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

Breakfast was decent, lots of good bread choices, which I loved! I was hoping for a few hot options and maybe something a bit more local, but that’s just a minor thing.

Overall, I found the hotel to be really good value for the price, and I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in Reykjavik.

The hotel receptionists were friendly and very helpful. Our room (on the backside) was small but adequate. Clean and quiet. The elevator was much appreciated to get our luggage easily to our room. The location is excellent. Near restaurants, small grocery stores, and short walking distance to bus stops. Very good breakfast selections but occasionally a little crowded because of small area. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it easy to access local attractions. Weekend free self-parking is relatively close by, which is a plus. Breakfast is also good. However, the hotel is situated directly across from a large nightclub, and the noise can be quite disruptive, especially unstops over 3:00 AM on weekends.

Spacious room and god sized bed. Room condition was excellent. Breakfast was simple but very good quality and totally adequate. I’d actually give it 5 star other than the outside noise from the street in the evening. I’m guessing the rooms on the back side of hotel are good from noice perspective.
