Smelled like cigarettes when you walked in the front door
Brydon
I like that the property is very convenient to stores and restaurants. The beds were a little uncomfortable and pillows small. Rooms were pretty clean although there were patch spots that stuck out. The only thing that I didn’t like was the heavy smell of marijuana.
Hye Sun
Free stay for pet is very nice to me.
Bruce
Paid a few extra dollars for a mini fridge and microwave. Air conditioner worked well on a hot day. No problems and would stay again.
Renee
Older hotel but did have some updates. Beds were comfortable. Room smelled a bit musty from the air conditioner, but we opened the windows and let fresh air in. The hallway smelled like animals were allowed. Staff was very friendly and outgoing. Rooms were not \"sound proof\" and could easily hear other rooms and activities. Adequate parking with easy access to doors. Could use a good deep cleaning and some groundskeeping maintenance.
Marcin
It was older hotel, hallways had musty smell but it was decent enough to stay at.
Tanya
Th tv was freezing up due to problems with the internet, the ice machine was broken down, there was no hair dryer, but the bed was fine and the sheets looked clean

Rooms are a bit dated but clean. Mini fridge was great for soda, water and to keep extra ice from melting. Beds were comfortable and most important…they allow dogs!
doris
the location is convenient and the rates are reasonable
Leslie
Conveniently located right off of I-35, it had McDonald's, Subway and a gas station within easy walking distance. The room was spacious enough for me. It was a bit noisy at times with people talking, doors slamming and dogs barking, but once the air conditioner was on all the annoying sounds diminished. I utilized both the mini fridge/freezer and the microwave that my room included.

Solo traveller, nice quiet stay for the price

Be aware of unexpected delays with deposit refunds. The hotel placed a hold on my card and told me it would be released after my stay. More than two weeks later, the money is still missing from my account.
I have called several times and have been unable to get anyone to answer or help. This level of customer service is unacceptable. I expected much better communication and professionalism.

Convieniently located, quiet, and clean. This was a short night sleep and worked great. Property was nice and well maintained. Great for the price.

Laundry got opened and gone through by someone so it was still soaked with time on the dryer and the dryer door opened when I went to check on it. Checked in and the room wasn’t clean (still garbage in one of the trashes) and there was no towels in the room at all we had to go to the desk to request towels and there was garbage and drunks in the hallways before 6pm.. definitely just a cheap place to maybe crash for a night nowhere you’d want to bring kids or stay unless you had to
Cassandra
The room had no fridge, no microwave, sheets were dirty. We barely had any towels and no bodywash. Staff was nice.
Gregory
everything was great
John
Staff was very friendly, room was clean and looked well kept and comfortable. AC did its job, staff worked with me on parking vehicle and trailer. Will stay there again. Thanks for a great stay!

The rooms weren't very clean there was hair in the tub and hair on the bathroom floor the refrigerator was all dented the sink was cracked the clothes hanger was bent and there was homeless people sleeping out in the parking lot by each side of my truck didn't feel very safe there

For a one night rest and move on, this place is not bad. The plank hard floor help removed the musky smell that most motels/hotels have. The hallway still has the strong musky smoke odor.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and it was fairly quiet.

Hi and thank you. Our room was clean. The staff were friendly even arriving in the middle of the night in a blizzard. Parking was convenient. We were really just needing a place for one overnight during the storm. Thanks again!
Keri
Room appeared clean. Common areas were average. Parking lot was sketchy but ok. Overall for the price it was as expected.

Room was clean, staff was very helpful.
Marjory
Room was clean. I stayed at many 4 and 5 star places and never received a call after check in to see if everything in room was fine. Staff friendly. And it was quiet. Even though there was a power outage early morning and room fot chilled. It was handled well.
Cheryl
Staff was great. Room was clean. Location was right off the highway but to get back on the highway was tricky. Watch the turns closely 👀 or you will be on a side road.

The room was clean, and the staff was very pleasant.
Mike
Clean, friendly and warm!!!
Joseph
It’s easy to check in and I haven’t had any issues staying there.

Room is clean, staff is friendly, quite place.
Woodley
The room was fine
Ryan
We had some people staying in the room above us that had kids. The kids were running around jumping around later at night. Called the front desk twice to complain about it. Nothing was done about it!!!! This happened both nights of our stay!
Abby
The room appeared to be clean. The front desk staff was friendly. I wish you would’ve had a shampoo and conditioner in the room. I wish I didn’t have to pay for toothbrush and toothpaste.

I’ve been staying here for some time now with some issues during my stay but overall, majority of the staff like the front desk on all shifts and housekeeping crew have all been very helpful, nice and understanding. Thanks for all that yall do.
Doug
Always a pleasant stay here. Pets stay free. Beisimi works the front desk and was very nice while renewing my reservation.
Lisa
The staff made it a good stay.
The lack of a coffee pot or a hair dryer was not good. I had even made sure it had them when I searched. The beds were hard and did not have any top cushion or pillow top.

This is a great place for us to stay as I take a team to a cross country meet at St. Olaf. The rooms are clean, the staff are very friendly and kind. However this time there was a strong odor of marijuana
Judit
The hallway smelled of cigarets. We were unable to close one panel of the window.
Jean
Very clean and very safe
Alice
They were patient and kind to me. They gave me a quiet room at the end of the hall where I felt safe.
They helped with a vending machine.
It was no frills but it was clean, neat and they treated me well.

It was a roof over my head for a few nights. Property was dated, the halls smelled like a mixture of stale cigarette smoke, marijuana and wet dog. There was a kid across the hall that was screaming all night on the last night of my stay

Management has not been the friendliest to work with as we have been staying here for quite some time. Feel like we are being judged and pretty sure it’s most likely harassment as others are not treated the way we are treated. Will be addressing these matters with corporate very soon.
Reannon
I want to start this by saying that Susan, the property manager, is a very nice and easy to work with.
Unfortunately, the area here does not feel safe at all. There was a very loud domestic dispute in the parking lot, lots of partying, and the hallway absolutely reeks of marijuana. The room condition was less than stellar, and the beds are a step above camping. Definitely not family friendly, and no amminities save a bar of soap provided.

Steve
Parking linited and not lisa. Guy at desk was unhelpful tool. Parking guy was cool though. Wouldnt reccomend. Spend more. Dont give place more money
Charles
It was priced right for travelers and clean.
Seth
It smelled like a smokey whole in the wall bar. The room was very plain like a dorm room.
This is great for a place to crash if you only had $40.

Bad experience.
Randy
The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were basic, but clean and secure.
Eric
Stained sheets, stains on walls. Dirty floor deep cleaning needed desperately
Marie
It was okay. I am thankful.
Victoria
Parking close to their hotel rooms. Very nice front desk people
Victoria
Love coming here. Cheaper than alot of other motels around and clean.
Abdifatah
It’s close by restaurants
Shelby
I like that we are close to a laundromat
Adriana
Do NOT stay at this motel. After immediately entering the lobby, it smelled of cigarettes. Once we entered our room, it smelled terrible and was very muggy. I also noticed that the room had not been cleaned because the desk in the room had visible stains, as if something sticky had been there. The worse part was the BLACK MOLD all over the walls and ceilings. Probably due to the air conditioner that had been running and the condensation. Do not stay here if you care for your health. This place needs to be shut down.

I based my rankings on the exceptional kindness of the desk clerks.
It would be helpful to have a little wall shelf in the shower because there's no place to hold the soap or shampoo. You have to reach over to the sink to grab the soap.

We use this motel for a one night sleep over spot during our drive to and from Missouri. Wouldn’t stay there any longer as there is no fridge, coffee maker, or microwave in the room. Go to bed, get up , get back on the road. Price is right for that.
Romez
Nice staff and very great place to be and relax
Nabil
I needed to find a pet friendly place for a few days and this was the cheapest option in the area. The place was decent and customer service at the front desk was outstanding!
Beth
I have stayed here many times before. This time, the staff was friendly and followed up once I got to my room to make sure things were as they should be.
Room was cleaner than usual, as was the property. Every employee I came across, had a smile on their face and greeted me. Nice change 👌

Good customer service !
Shelby
I like ot because we are closer to McDonald's down there and a laundromat too.
Sandra
Very clean rooms, staff is very caring and friendly!
Brian
It was fairly priced. The lobby smelled odd. The sheets on the beds were damp. Not sure if this was from the AC or if they were put on the bed that way. It was just a place to sleep during a long road trip. It was adequate.
Patricia
Cheap, clean, convient.

I understand the hotel is pet friendly. There ahould be a hall for people with pets and a hall for people without pets. I was placed next door to a visitor with a large dog who started barking as soon as i unlocked the door and continue for a few minutes. I went back to the desk and asked for another room. The attendant was not happy about moving me and kept reminding me the hotel was pet friendly. I understand pet friend. But the sign says well behaved pets. Not a profusely narking dog.
Stacy
Our stay at the Motel 6 was only needed for a place to sleep nothing more. This location says non smoking, but could smell smoke in the hallways and ashtrays were available inside our room. Over all you get what you pay for and if just passing through not a bad place to stay.
