For a one night rest and move on, this place is not bad. The plank hard floor help removed the musky smell that most motels/hotels have. The hallway still has the strong musky smoke odor.

Laundry was 3.00 per load qash and Dry. But you had to spend 6.00 on drying if you wamted your clothes dry. Each and every employee i spoke with was very friendly and accommodating

Room was clean. I stayed at many 4 and 5 star places and never received a call after check in to see if everything in room was fine. Staff friendly. And it was quiet. Even though there was a power outage early morning and room fot chilled. It was handled well.

We had some people staying in the room above us that had kids. The kids were running around jumping around later at night. Called the front desk twice to complain about it. Nothing was done about it!!!! This happened both nights of our stay!

The lack of a coffee pot or a hair dryer was not good. I had even made sure it had them when I searched. The beds were hard and did not have any top cushion or pillow top.

I want to start this by saying that Susan, the property manager, is a very nice and easy to work with.

Unfortunately, the area here does not feel safe at all. There was a very loud domestic dispute in the parking lot, lots of partying, and the hallway absolutely reeks of marijuana. The room condition was less than stellar, and the beds are a step above camping. Definitely not family friendly, and no amminities save a bar of soap provided.

Do NOT stay at this motel. After immediately entering the lobby, it smelled of cigarettes. Once we entered our room, it smelled terrible and was very muggy. I also noticed that the room had not been cleaned because the desk in the room had visible stains, as if something sticky had been there. The worse part was the BLACK MOLD all over the walls and ceilings. Probably due to the air conditioner that had been running and the condensation. Do not stay here if you care for your health. This place needs to be shut down.

It would be helpful to have a little wall shelf in the shower because there's no place to hold the soap or shampoo. You have to reach over to the sink to grab the soap.

We use this motel for a one night sleep over spot during our drive to and from Missouri. Wouldn’t stay there any longer as there is no fridge, coffee maker, or microwave in the room. Go to bed, get up , get back on the road. Price is right for that.

I understand the hotel is pet friendly. There ahould be a hall for people with pets and a hall for people without pets. I was placed next door to a visitor with a large dog who started barking as soon as i unlocked the door and continue for a few minutes. I went back to the desk and asked for another room. The attendant was not happy about moving me and kept reminding me the hotel was pet friendly. I understand pet friend. But the sign says well behaved pets. Not a profusely narking dog.

Our stay at the Motel 6 was only needed for a place to sleep nothing more. This location says non smoking, but could smell smoke in the hallways and ashtrays were available inside our room. Over all you get what you pay for and if just passing through not a bad place to stay.

Close & renovate it.

The bed was not queen size, but a double. It was so soft & old that my back could not stand it. We checked out early and found a better place to stay. That motel should be closed and totally renovated. I do not recommend motel 6. The employees were all pleasant but the condition of the place could not overcome their niceness.

It smelt absolutely horrible outside. Didn’t realize all rooms didn’t come with a refrigerator and microwave so we went a week without having neither. We didn’t get offered a full service cleaning until after the 6th day of being there which we were checking out the next day. Both ice machines were broken for three days straight so we had to go to the store next door for ice. Staff was very friendly and nice though.

the property was dirty outside and inside as well.
In the rooms, it was dirty filthy walls, the Moisture was awful, felt extremely damp all the time. the Air Conditioner was so load, it was like sleeping next to a semi truck idling
Tub was dirty, toilet was filthy with remanence of urine.
walls had stuff that was sticky and miscolored,
there were several bugs in the room, in which we got rid of quite quickly, we didn't sleep in the bed at all
we purchased disinfectants to clean the area of which we used, and before and after each shower.
Toilet we used alcohol wipes to clean it with gloves, and we wiped down everything in the room.
No coffee pot for us to make a cup of coffee,
the towels were stained
wash clothes were not very well
we wiped the knobs on the door as well
This hotel 6 needs to be inspected by the Lakeville association for Travelers, I hope one of them reads this,
I also noticed in the hallways next to the doors and stairs,
Mice traps, were in plain view or anyone in this vicinity
My gosh you could get people sick with deceases from them,
use the proper vendors, clean this place up, or shut it down until it passes a extreme inspections.

The exterior is terrible, really.
The manager was accomidating, offended that i wouldnt sign in without an inspection.
But really.....mattresses outside, front of office, literally unrecognizable as a door or office.
Rugs draped over handicap signs to dry.

Booked for a week and asked them daily to clean the room being that I was out of town working. They said on the 7th day of the stay they clean the rooms. Also there was mold on the ceiling!

This Motel 6 was worst hotel I have stayed in. I am not a complainer so I did not say anything as I thought it would make it worse. It had a bed, fridge, and microwave. This did not make up for the smell of dog pee. I went to the store and dot air fresheners to mask that smell. Also the bugs were an issue as well. I hope that none of the bugs made it into my luggage. I will not be staying at a Motel 6 again.

This location has a high traffic rate due to the truck stop, the proximity to 35w and also the mere fact you'll easily spend twice as much anywhere in the area. The rates reflect what you'll have in amenities standard in each room but as far as Motel 6's go and this one's location at a truck stop off a major interstate and it past reputation it's easily worth the rates and has cleaned up from its past problems that many may recall locally or that traveled through years back. Housekeeping does a super job with what they have to work with and after a couple weeks in and out of various rooms on this current visit to the area I've not found any mess left or appearance of rushed turnover cleaning which brings some added peace of mind. They do have a strict protocol at check in so be prepared to not get much of any leeway for anything such as expired or absent i.d. for any adult guests and also that rooms do not have standard microwaves, fridges, or any seating provided beyond the beds in the room. Again, your getting only the basics and not much more than that for what your paying. Realistic rating knowing what it is, 9 out of 10. Rating if you are expecting much comfort and plan to remain in your room for any length of time and not be out enjoying activities or otherwise, I'd say don't be hoping for much more than 6 out of 10 if that's the case.
A plus worth noting on this 100 degree day is that the air conditioner units definately are working wonderfully and keeping cool.

The building needs serious renovation. The entire thing smelled like weed and just looked terrible once you got inside. When I got into my room I realized I wasn't alone and a giant roach had already been checked in and was a tenant of the room. RUN AWAY. Spend the extra money. Or, if you like roaches and probably bed bugs this is the place for you!
